As always we can only guess as to the future price of coins.. right now 12.8 mill of them have been freed or mined or whatever.
At 600 a piece that is under 7.7 billion usd.
this is a small amount of money so a few deep pocket people can maneuver it.
Read up on how the Hunt brothers pushed the price of silver from under 10 usd to over 50 usd an oz. (around 1978)
So I would say how would any of us know if 4 or 5 billionaires are planning to put in a lot of money to jack coins up.
Answer is we would not know.

Also is here a max number of posts?
3429 posts for you as a Full Member, but I doubt anybody would ever get near half of that, so you don't need to worry. I am retired and I find it hard to do 400 posts in a month . I can do about 300 good post in my sleep. But when trying to get much over 400 it gets harder. Although if I kept getting .0012 a post and coins went higher I would do more. And good clean informative ones with worth while info in each one. For instance if you mine with 3 or antminer s-1's . if you mine with an antminer s-2 . Or if you are using a lot of gridseed blades here is a link to my hot deals thread. which shows a really good deal for an evga 1300 watt psu. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=591721.msg7073381#msg7073381Just see the other posts...it should be post only with starting post count and btc address not long-ass post with questins i guess stunna wants to have it clear and easily deductable i suggest you posting new post and deleting old one/separating it into two replies. Okay i can do that. I don't mind at all. Why you would have to do 400 post per month to be in this campaign? Or what did you mean? I don't get it. you need 50 as a minimum . for me I can do 300 to 400 as I have the time to do so. Some one was asking about max posts allowed. Max earnings are 2.6btc that is about 2166 for a hero member about 2600 posts for a senior member about 4333 posts for a full member about 6500 post for a member Realistically 400 to 600 is work if you try to do good posts. I spend 2-3 hours a day on this site or 60 to 90 hours a month and I did 425 posts last month.

Hi !! I wanted to buy few AntMiners S2 in a few days but I see there's no AM S2 still available. Does anyone know will they be still available to buy? Or is bitmain planning to sell only those silly S2 kits with HUMONGOUS price? I will be very grateful for answer.
And btw, in my oppinion they made a huge mistake with giving 2260$ price for those kits. There's no PSU which costs a lot + case etc. Not smart move.
Gosh, I like a bargain like anybody else, but if bitcoin will keep rising as this, mining equipment will be expensive when calculated in $$, as S2 is. The same 2260 price is 3.40BTC right now, but it was 4.05 BTC ($2309) on May 26 and ~3.2 BTC for group buy. When bitcoin was low and mining equipment cheap, some were not buying. Now, as the price of BTC went up from $340 to $665, people are complaining about the expensive equipment. You buy cheap and you sell high-that's the general idea in anything investment related. This happen in nov-2013 asic miner usb sticks were as low as 7 dollars they jumped to 50 dollars. I have a lot of gear I have been holding and I can now sell at a better price then I could a month ago.

dont forget Sabuh.com as his price is at $239 + $20 shipping so $259 shipping from CO. http://sebuh.com his price has changed with BTC price as it was at $229 just a couple of days ago. seb is a good seller I purchased from him. 259 is decent price. as long as coins keep going up.

Don't you find it strange that this whole thread is fueled by just you and reactor?
Don't you find it strange nobody is even remotely defending GAW? They did a million in pre-orders, they added 80 pages to their moderated thread in ~14 days, their fans on their forum are jubilant and their fans were quite jubilant here until someone (me ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) said "here's the things GAW said in the order they said them in". Very shortly afterwards they pulled out of the biggest forum in the Crypto community because they couldn't disprove accusations based on things they themselves said. Josh said they shipped over 1000 ZenBoxes, and we know from people writing here that some folks who ordered multiple units only got one zenBox, so that is a lot of people getting orders. Oh yeah, and Josh said they sold how many A2's? Look at the ZenMiner thread on here. 1000 went out and only five pages, mostly happy customers? What? Now compare the amount of people discussed above to the number of people writing about GAW on here, on Reddit, even chatter on their own forums. That many orders, the timeline for power info, and a handful of complaints, mostly all here? Like nobody from the 27th through the 29th when people on the moderated thread started getting orders and commenting on power? Nobody? On the internet? In the crypto world? Long con. Not that many orders, many suckers made. Hardware that performs worse than competitors but was sold as better than competitors. And GAW has been mining for a couple months and can afford refunds now because it looks like they made more than enough off of customers via mining with what looks like customer hardware based on the confirmed shipping dates from DHL and when the pool drop-offs happened. Since so much of this is public statements made by GAW, I've actually found it quite useful to forward on to parties who might be interested in covering news (if there is a story, they will find it) or damage this may have done to their businesses. Again, this isn't kid stuff. I think Josh thought it was. I have to disagree with you they allow cc so you get refunds. So how on earth does the long con work? Basically I don't think this is a con since they allowed cc purchases which means you can send the gear back and get a refund. But I think a shit load of people will ask for refunds. Here is the major problem: Gridseed blades are pulling 17 watts for 1mh if you use a plat psu and mine for LTC on wemineltc or cex.io GAW miners are pulling over 30 watts for 1mh and mine for LTC That is a big problem. For me it means buy gridseed blades do not buy GAW/Zeus gear. So for now I buy gridseed blades. I may buy an A2 miner but not until I see proof of watt use.

Lee do you know of any group buys that are doing fractional shares of your units? I would love a hosted 86mh scrypt miner but don't have 11k sitting around to shell out.
why not do the 29mh version? 3800 with only 60% up front around 2280

I have never done anything like this, so a few questions from a newb: 1. My understanding that for undervolting as per bitmain scheme, I will be removing R3, etc. resistors, but then instructions are a bit thin for me…Do I put something else in place? bitmain says: refer to resistor value to replace. This is where I don't understand. I have to replace R3 and 7 other resistors (8 total, 4 on each board) with what? 2. how POTs came into this? Is it a POT I have to put in place of removed resistors, or is it optional and I can simply put a small droplet of tin where resistor (R3, etc) was?
Thanks Yes remove the R3, R66, R38 & R52 resistors from each blade. Either replace these removed resistors with new resistors of the value Bitmain has given (3.24Kohm for 102.4Ghash or 4.02Kohm for 115.2Ghash). Alternatively instead of putting in the fixed value resistors (3.24 or 4.02) put in a 0 to 10Kohm adjustable resistors (POT) (this is what is shown on the pictures attached a page or two back). With the POTs you can undervolt, go back to stock, or if you are brave overvolt with no more hardware changes! Trends just do a pencil mod. its easy enough that anyone can do it. All you need is a pencil and a multimeter, and about 10-15 minutes per antminer. (a 4B pencil is a bit easier to work with than a 2B/HB since its softer lead). Its not as precise a method as actually soldering a new resistor, but its ~95% as effective and far faster and less likely to do permentant amage then using a soldering iron to remove/replace a SMALL resistor Is pencil mod even stable or you have to constantly monitor the ant's power usage/HW mistakes and re-mod every week or two? my pencil mod is 11 days old 3 ants do 430gh at 563 watts. rock solid for 11 days. Pencil mod has been working great for me ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs30.postimg.org%2Ftcxxkgyw1%2Fam15.jpg&t=663&c=4na5iFJZX1Msfg) Ok, thanks, I think I got it. Will try pencil first. The R3 and other resistors are so tiny, I will mess them up with the iron for sure. yeah smd resistors are hard to do. I am 57, but my eyes are older I have had cataract surgery in each one. I can see far in one I can see medium in the other, but close meh so so at best.

Do we not need to get certain wattage rating for the resistors as well as ohm?
yes we do. but the oem resistor was 4.47k in circuit and i think 8.3 k pulled if so it had a low watt rating due to its size. these are close to the size and quality of the stock resistor they don't handle much power. http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-2K-OHM-SMD-1206-Resistor-5000PCS-One-Roll-New-RoHS-/200999285608?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ecc7db368items that small simply can not handle much in terms of watts. on the ebay link the most any of those resistors need handle = 1/4 watt the ones on the antminer are most likely 1/4 watt or less. I am not the best authority wait for more confirmation on the correct pot to use

About that power issue, I was informed that it was measured on LTC . The problem is not the pool you're using but the current difficulty and coin type. The higher the difficulty the more power the machine needs. Early gridseeds had exactly the same issue , having different power draw depending on the coin you're mining. I was also assured that if you have a faulty hardware you can return it and have it refunded, so I'm sorry but I don't see an issue here. I also fail to see a connection with them and BFL. They said they'll deliver and they did, if you got the hardware a day or 2 later, there is really no issue, most online stores reserve at least a week for this. And as I said before you can return the hardware if you want. As for your time, imagine you go to a store, buy something, come back home and don't like it, go back to return and request money for your lost time ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Are you serious? Then why is my Falcon pulling 1100 Watts from the wall for mining CGA with stabilized diff of 2 and net hashrate of 180-200MH?? Big difference than the HUGE difficulty of LTC..... Say what? You own a Falcon. And its running at 180-200MHz? wtf? I'll clarify. CGA net hashrate is 180-200MH/s. Going to be testing starcoin with net hash of 50MH/s to see what power draw is for a REALLY low diff coin. Any less net hashrate than that runs risk of 51% from my asic. my falcon does 24-28MH, btw. waiting to see if they release promised patch before I decide to return it or not. A) I believe you own a falcon. B) I believe you when you post numbers like 1100 watts C) My guess if all coins will mine at a 950 to 1150 watt number in the 24mh-28mh range . which at best would be 33 watts an mh. please tell me the make and model of your psu. I have a 1300 watt evga psu gold rating a stud psu . If you have an equal let us know. You may have a poor qualit psu which would account for as much as 100 of those 1100 watts. you may have a high watt pc setup which would be 40 or 50 extra watts. but it seems to me at best you are going to get to is 900 plus watts. for the falcon alone. I am in the process of getting more gridseed blades . I may go to 5 of them. that would be close to an exact match of your falcon. we can point the gear at the same pool. say wemineltc ltc only and see if you do 1000-1100 watts for 28mh and if I do 420 watts for 26mh
