what are you missing?.. well:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4hflr3/craig_wrights_signature_is_worthless/

here it is explained better

Find first transaction by Satoshi in 2009 :

(thats it, you done pretty much the only thing that craig done (remember no private key was used with what u just done. nor SHA, nor ECDSA)

this is a 7 year old signature of the transaction encrypted using the private key for: 12cbQLTFMXRnSzktFkuoG3eHoMeFtpTu3S 7 years ago
emphasis: the data is the transaction data(not a personal message).. that is 7 years old!! and publicly available

if he was to sign a message today! the signature, even when signed with the same private key would be completely different
emphasis: signing "my name is bob" would result in a different signature than "My Name Is Bob" even when both messages are signed with the same private key.

so if you see him display:
MEUCIQDBKn1Uly8m0UyzETObUSL4wYdBfd4ejvtoQfVcNCIK4AIgZmMsXNQWHvo6KDd2Tu6euEl13VT C3ihl6XUlhcU+fM4=

he is not signing anything new. he is just literally copying and pasting a 7 year old message(tx) that was signed 7years ago

Good. This was the only thing I needed to cut off all these bullshit around this new story. My question is always why now and why this way?
That is not clear to me right now. Thanks anyway
4302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving guide for noobs: Why it's not possible for halving to be priced in now on: May 01, 2016, 10:09:46 AM
It took me almost 20 minutes to read this whole thread and I'm debt with everybody (mostly) who contributed here. I had very confused ideas about the halving while now I feel a bit more informed about what I will have to consider as a btc invested guy and btc tech lover.
More importantly I think I know better about ETH as well.
4303  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 01, 2016, 09:56:34 AM
Gold reached a very high value lately and it always proves itself right as a very good investment. It is now near the 1300$ mark a price which was unseens in years. We're lucky here to have the opportunity to invest both in gold and btc I think.

4305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 01, 2016, 09:44:40 AM
An italian friend told me the last serie A weeks are in danger of fixed games. Something to take into account.
Anyway, after losing because of udinese yesterday here's my bet

Empoli-Bologna Draw
Milan-Frosinone Milan
Palermo-Sampdoria Draw
Sassuolo-Verona Sassuolo
4306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 01, 2016, 09:37:21 AM
No one comes to watch the walls anymore. They used to. Not anymore.

Not during a trading range of $1
Newbies coming here saying obvious things is the least we have to worry about and perhaps he does not even know that our friend ChartBuddy left us with no walls to watch anaymore.
4307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 01, 2016, 09:32:07 AM
Bayern Munich-Borussia Monchengladbach Draw
Dortmund-Wolfsburg Dortmund + over 2,5 goals
Hannover-Schalke 04 both teams to score
Hoffenheim-Ingolstadt Hoffenheim

This was a hell of a parlay! Got me almost one bitcoin. I got the very difficult draw between munich and borussia and all the others! I hope some of you guys take advantages of my picks.
4308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 01, 2016, 09:28:32 AM
Newcastle-Crystal Palace Newcastle + over 2,5 goals
Stoke-Sunderland Draw or away
Watford-Aston Villa Watford
Arsenal-Norwich Arsenal + over 2,5 goals

these are very good pick.

easy money for bettor

i add more pick Arsenal -2 correct score 4-1 5-0

Apart from the fact that I guessed all the scores correctly, unfortunately I added the over bets which made my lose this very good bet. My bad I should have gone for the simple results.

Thank you but don't worry, I was just asking. I know how to get good prices for that, I was trying to get some info about a good video card that can be used for mining this and other altcoins.

4310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why you enable 2FA. on: May 01, 2016, 09:21:34 AM
No matter how many layers of security one will implement there's always one thing that needs to be taken into account which is, as we said earlier, the "human user" problem: technology is pretty good but we are the unsolvable problem!
4311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why you enable 2FA. on: April 30, 2016, 09:48:16 AM
I simply do not allow anyone but me to use my computer. I do not have facebook and such and I use several email addresses. My btc are in cold storage and so far I had nothing to worry about.

We're the first security layer of our own stuff. And, actually, I hate 2FA. I used it only once for bitstamp and I then stopped using bitstamp.
You really hate 2fa? Whats to hate, at the most it adds a whole 20 seconds to account logins but worth the time.
If you keeping any amount of coins on an exchange or hot wallet it is recommended that you add 2fa.

I do not have any money on any exchange: when I need them I use them but I don't store my funds there. My hot wallet has less than a btc therefore I consider it ok i f I lose them. But again, so far I've never had trouble. Smiley
4312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: April 30, 2016, 09:43:26 AM
I'll be glad if I'll be still alive in 20 years! Apart from that I think in 20 years Bitcoin should be very high in value or, if everything will fail, it will be considered nothing more than stamps.
No, I'll go for the high value

Very interesting news, no doubt the blockchain tech is the next big thing of the internet era. No wonder why such big players are putting their money into it. The first to start something good blockchain based will start a new billion dollar market: Big Blue wants to be the first one it seems.

I have a very old video card which is almost going to die and if I am to mine the new coin here you would probably need an upgrade: any suggestions?
my budget can be something like 300$
