I believe the problem right now is that the current node that is setup in coin.conf is running the older chain. I need a new node setup with the latest source of Matrixcoin can anyone help?

Matrixcoin (MTX) You can use CPU, GPU, and ASIC miners just like you would Bitcoin. No affiliation with The Matrix but it was our inspiration! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Matrixcoin Addresses start with 9...(This may be changed eventually) Hi,dev, you copy the op from somewhere just changing some place, right? SHA256 for CPU mining? Your joke hit my laugh point. haha i mine 2 block with my cpu.

how long does it take to mine a block?

The total coins is changing from 84m to 20m.
after which block?It should be at 8000 block but no rush since the block of new specs will be halving at 20,000 Blocks. haha sorry for my inpatient, because we will have many cheap coins before we hit 20000 Blocks.

20,000 Blocks - - - - - > 10m Pawncoin 40,000 blocks-------> 5M 60,000 Blocks-----> 2.5m 80,000 Blocks-----> 1.250.000 100,000 block------> 625,000 pawncoin 120,000 Blocks - - - - - > 312.500 140,000 blocks - - - - > 156,250 pawncoin 160,000 blocks-----> 78,125 Pawncoin 180,000 blocks >>>>39062.5 200,000 Blocks >>>>19531.25 Gdhfjcbshdjdj so on ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I think it takes a month to mine 20,000 Blocks? yes, at current rate, one block take 2.5 minutes, so we need to mine another 15000 block to hit 20000 block 15000*2.5 minutes=37500 minutes 37500/1400 minute per day=26.7 days so we can expect this after 26.7 days later. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I have not been to this thread for a few days ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) are the proposed changes actually happening. Devs please makeup your mind. It seems we a5re changing direction everyday, constant tinkering will make everyone loss what little faith they have in pawn. will I see a return on my investment ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) it seems very unlikely if you keep doing this. make a final decision and stick with it please. The coin specs will be changed to the following.. Block rewards = 500 PAWN Block halving rate =20,000 Blocks Max: 20,000,000 coins after which block, will we reduce the block reward? after 8000 block or 20000 block? thanks

Lol, GPU miner has been released. My 2 metiscoins mined in a week with my CPU aren't worth a damn at 3k sat.
MTS is currently underpriced, the coin is so low volume that a single BTC whale can pump/dump the coin. If we could raise 5 BTC for a real price adjustment we could buy up all the under-priced coins, and creating huge buy walls. Perhaps we should organize something like that. This coin used to be worth .00025 back when the volume was up, and we could get it back on Poloniex. Metiscoin would even be put up above the majority of alts on coinmarketcap if we could do something like that. I like your idea. Problem is, I only have about .28 BTC worth of MTS (which costed me around .5). Yep, Metiscoin is unrealistically under-priced. There's probably a few other alt-currency investors that benefit from creating this artificially low price. Though that's just a theory. Indeed. And I brought it up to acknowledge that your idea was good but that I don't have much BTC involved and thus wouldn't want to contribute much to the 5 BTC for an adjustment. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) MTS coin, we need some promotion?
