Is there going to be 3-peat?  Roll Eyes
Not sure about a 3-peat since there's so many good teams between the CN, SA and SEA region but we'll see if they have a surprise strategy heading in the tournament.

I wanted to take Faze later on but unfortunately stake doesn't have the odds so I ended up taking Navi @1.5 instead.

I can't comment on Astralis and navi match, Astralis is not the old invincible astralis, navi can win if they plays really well and coordinately
I mean Navi is expected to win since they have the better form and even though Astralis could still pull an upset it looks like they're regressing.
4302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 11, 2021, 02:00:00 PM
I've played lotteries so many times before but not on crypto exchanges since the ones that I use doesn't offer any options to gamble and even if they do i'd probably avoid it. Don't get me wrong I still like lotteries but whenever I feel like gambling, the experience is always better on casinos.

The odds on winning in lottery is very low, this is why you should not focus on this so you wont get addicted, better to gamble where you can have at least 30% chance of winning.
Most people that play the lottery already know their chances of winning is close to none but they still do it since some lotteries have different ways of winning.
4303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 10, 2021, 02:26:16 PM
i'm expecting another close match same as their last meeting in the upper bracket 2 days ago

talking about Tundra, they haven't lost a game in this qualifier...did anyone expect to perform like this? i'm sure this is the biggest surprise of the tournament, not Liquid or OG/Nigma not making it to TI
Good call on the over and same here I knew Tundra would go far in the qualifiers as they improved well enough during the second half of the season but not this far where they're one series win away from TI.

For now I only have this ticket while waiting for the grand finals and once the match goes live i'm thinking of backing Tundra since the odds are a bit one sided during the last series.
4304  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Games that still pay Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 02:07:15 PM
Do you mean like those games before in Games and Round that actually pays in Bitcoin? I think none of them exist now. Not because of fees but there are lots of blockchain games that used their own governance token instead to applied on the game.
Back then there was an app that lets you play and earn, it's like a mini game that's similar to flappy bird but you're competing against other players and the top winners earn a bunch of satoshis. I remember they had a bunch of games and also allow you to gamble by joining paid contests and the rewards are significantly higher. Basically they started off as a faucet then they later on added the gambling function after the app became popular enough. Another example is cashclamber, they had a contest as well where the user with the most consecutive wins takes the pot.
4305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 09, 2021, 06:46:46 PM
I don't know if this counts as a strategy but in terms of profit the best strategy for me is to wait for promos, bonuses and contests where you get more out of your bets. It's hard to pull off this type of strategy since casinos and sportsbooks rarely put out promos but whenever they do it's usually worth it.

One example is the promos during the EURO championship where sportsbet offered so many risk free prop bets and some of them ended up winning.
4306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Maharaja of Bitcointalk🏆 $600 Prizepool tourney(Free entry) by Sportbet.one on: July 09, 2021, 05:03:53 PM
Can anyone recall if Sportbet.one actually sent @vennali prize money, or, they just promised to pay the eventual winner?
I have no idea since Sportbet.one didn't post anything on the announcement thread.

I remember that op had serious reasons for the delays due to the pandemic, but have there been any updates? I can see that my bets stats weren't updated since March, with only 3 bets fully accounted for... Is it the same for others with no updates over these months?
I tallied up all the bets you've posted on the entry thread, after 25 bets your ROI is 8.94%.
4307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 09, 2021, 04:32:50 PM
I doubt it's a sign as I also do the same on sports betting and plan ahead on the matches i'm interested betting on. I guess planning could contribute to the addiction in some way where it encourages you to try new things but at the same time it depends on how you view it because you can also do the same with other activities. One of the signs that i've experienced was gambling impulsively, back then instead of stopping after a profitable day I sometimes push things further and make stupid bets.
4308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2021, 03:09:37 PM
i haven't checked yet. How high is it?
Last time I checked the minimum is somewhere around 4mbtc (~$120) and the same goes for all their altcoin minimums.

I wasn't able to tune in on the first game of Team Liquid earlier but that was one hell of a comeback though down 80k gold at one point.

Also feeling good about this over on OG and Tundra last time it ended 2-1 for Tundra and expecting the series to go all the way again since Tundra is starting to look like a decent team plus OG gave a map two times in a row.
4309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2021, 04:14:26 PM
Fortunejack's new promo, pretty awesome 👍 I may start using my FJ acc again  Cheesy
The odds are crazy good but i'll skip the promo since their min withdrawal is too high for me.

OG - Nigma

I booked the over maps in OG - Nigma. A classic. Last time they met was last month and OG won 2-1. Same result today? losing team will go to the lower bracket so players won't be under too much pressure
I'm also betting on the last match of the EU qualifier but I went with Team Nigma since I feel like their draft will be more stable compared to OG. Hopefully we get a 2-1 win for Team Nigma this time.  Cheesy

4310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 08, 2021, 03:30:19 PM
Most crypto sportsbooks don't offer much variety on esports so you'll rarely see fighting games on their lists, I remember Nitrogensports was able to put up some lines for Tekken back then.

Right now there's no scheduled tournament so you won't see any odds for fighting games but once EVO starts next month I suggest to keep an eye out on these esport bookies Nitrogensports, Sportsbet, and Cloudbet.
4311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 08, 2021, 03:02:54 PM
I like Valorant but I don't watch the competitive games as much since I already spend way too much time watching the other titles like Dota, League, CS and sometimes a bit of COD during the weekends.

Looking forward to this classic match up OG vs Nigma, both teams met countless times so it could go either way and I honestly think o2.5 is the better play but i'm sticking with my gut and go with Team Nigma.

The international community more prefers to watch match tournament or play on PC.
I agree even though there's a few good esport titles on mobile I think the overall watching experience is better when you watch the PC titles like Dota or League.
4312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 08, 2021, 02:28:06 PM
I'm also expecting a draw on the finals because both teams are willing to stall this one out until someone makes a small mistake.

If i'd place a bet i'll go for Italy double chance or maybe Italy to lift the trophy, as much as I like both teams to win I have to go with Italy since they had the tougher route to the finals.
4313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 30-June-21] on: July 07, 2021, 04:56:38 PM
Weekly Update (link)

Few campaigns moved to OFNP/CFNP, new campaign added in PNYC and three campaigns removed from the list.
4314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 07, 2021, 04:08:44 PM
I always post my bets so i'm somewhat involved in gambling and at the same time have some discussion whenever there's nothing to bet on. I don't think there's anything wrong about having gambling discussions with other users that haven't gamble since it's not a requirement and you can experience the same thing now that some of the casinos offer free coins or demo mode.

I guess one example of what OP meant is the NBA thread where there's less betting discussion I remember there's a discussion about it in Meta.
4315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: July 07, 2021, 03:07:27 PM
Who do you think will win the TI slot for EU and China?
I already mentioned mine on the other thread, imo these two teams deserves it after watching their performance throughout the season. I also want other teams to qualify but unfortunately there's only one slot per region.

Spider Pigz vs Liquid: Liquid -1.5 | ANALYSIS
Tailing the Liquid pick, should be a smooth 2-0 now that Boxi is back.
4316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any good crypto betting exchange ? on: July 07, 2021, 02:36:25 PM
OP meant sports betting exchange where you can take the bet of another sports bettor and in return you get the best odds possible compared to the traditional bookmakers.

The only crypto sports betting exchange i've tried so far is Fairlay they have a good reputation but fees are a bit high than most sportsbooks and you can find more exchanges in this thread.
4317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 07, 2021, 02:09:58 PM
It's because these games have different goals, for online games you always want to be at the top or have the best items in the game by playing it even longer than the majority.

On gambling games it's more about the money or specifically the opportunity to profit even though a lot of people play for fun it's hard to avoid the idea of playing for profit knowing you have a chance of winning something decent while risking small amounts.

The game designs doesn't matter that much tbh as some games can shine even if the graphics is kind of retro or simple.
4318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lucky Winners of the Day - Random Pick on: July 06, 2021, 02:48:14 PM
It seems to me that there's a likely pattern in this because as you have said, Penny bets are the most wins on the record but that could just be a coincidence though, anyway congratulations to the winners.
It's most likely a coincidence as more bettors can afford to place hundred penny bets to sustain losses on slots. On the other hand OP picked them randomly so you can't always tell if they're really lucky or not.

Wow, they are so lucky, hoping that I can earn good profit as that but in my entire gambling experience before I never win x3 and above, that is how unlucky I am so I already stop gambling because I am just wasting my money and time on it but sometimes still playing when I am bored, so this gambling is for entertainment only for me. There are so many lucky winners that I have seen in a comment, congrats to all.
That depends on the game you're playing and what strategy you prefer (low/high multipliers), most if not all of the wins posted from OP are coming from slots so it's not surprising to see high multiplier wins.

Anyway these hundred multiplier wins are like the tip of the iceberg though once you've played long enough you'll eventually experience x1000 multiplier wins.
4319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 06, 2021, 02:12:47 PM
I got mousesports to win @1.70 vs NiP , given the recent form of mousesports I think their odds are too good to pass up and o2.5 maps is a good alternative pick as their previous head to head series ended up in a decider. If I have to give some level of confidence on this pick it's probably 6/10 since NiP is a team that could always put up a good fight.
4320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anybody ever used pnxbet? on: July 06, 2021, 01:37:14 PM
I guess ymmv because like you've mentioned there are good reviews and bad ones as well, I can't say much about the site as I have no experience but if you're willing to take the risk in exchange for convenience then it might be worth it in the end.

Just don't be surprised if anything bad happens since there's a lot of warnings and reminders on why we should avoid the site.

I don't get why some people are still promoting or still using PNXbet even though it's already proven to be a scam website. The reason is probably that they don't know about it and the money is too good that ignorance is a bliss.
It's because there are people willing to promote any casino as long as they're getting paid.
