4301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if there is a 10-year 1000x token, are u going to buy? (This is Ad) on: October 03, 2020, 09:29:27 PM
No. As you said in the title, this is an ad for your possible project and most ads are promising good things but lack of delivery during the process. It's easy to say that you can make it but retaining the value and making it with value is going to be a challenge for you.
What is your main purpose for making that token? all about profit? if there's no one that will invest in that project, you're just wasting your time but if there's a good reason why then have a try.

~snip~
We have a say whenever we win and that is we want to win more of it. That's our normal reaction whenever our bets are positive and when we win. But if we lose, we still have the same reaction and that is to get back which s if we'll think about the logic.
It's still the same as winning more or taking back.

I think we have the experience to see a strong team defeated by a weak team, which is happening not just one or two times. If we are familiar with the games and have more than enough of the information for each team, perhaps, our chance will be more than 50/50. But I know that still not guarantee us to have won because I consider if the situation can be changed in the middle of the match.
In the middle of the match when bets are already deployed, you can never change your decision and you just have to leave it there. And as for the emotion, it's likely the feeling of most gamblers.
We want more, we recover more as much as we want. That is basically our reaction each time we get to see our bets win or lose.
We celebrate a bit when we win and we don't take losses easily if we fall.

Pretty naive decisions. Not admitting defeat in gambling is a sign that you're just a child and gambling is never for you. Admitting defeat means admitting mistakes that you need to fix in order to win next time you play gambling. Admitting failures means you're ready to take another step or plan to success, and not just whimpering about your losses and let your pride decide what you do in gambling.
It is a reality that there are gamblers who are like that. Hard to accept defeat because they just can't and in return of it, the recovery and chasing is usual which results to losing more but others are success with it.
Can accept defeat and losses but after accepting it, there will be a triggering emotion which is pushing an individual gambler to do it again and again.
4303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Florida man charged with scamming investors out of $6.8M in crypto trading schem on: October 03, 2020, 08:21:38 PM
This won't end well for him. What was he even thinking?
Maybe greed? He has held a huge amount of money and wants to hold more and comes up with the idea of scamming others. This scamming scheme is common whenever I watch news locally about crypto scams in my country. I feel bad for the investors, they've trusted the guy and ended being scammed. The investors should have already backed up when someone introduces himself as a trader and never experienced any lose his trading career.

Greed will be his reason to scam others, and even he already held huge amounts. Humans will never satisfy with what we have, and we always want more than what we have. I guess the scamming scheme will be like that, but the scammers will use the other method that can be used to get more targets.

If he can stop for a while and leave everything to enjoy his money, he will not get caught. But in that story, I see that he send the money to his son, expenses, and gambling. It seems he has another problem in gambling, or perhaps, he will use gambling to launder the money. People really need to be aware of offers like that, and always search for more information before investing.
It's nice to see scammer like him to be caught by the authorities for scamming people. And their own greediness will let them fall to be caught by the police. Those investors also has to use this experience for them to learn and don't fall again for the same scam or any other scam soon as in crypto there's no quick profit. That misconception is still alive today and many think that crypto is all like that.

I've heard that there were other people who have received that amount. I can't find that thread and posts anymore. Maybe that's sort of dividends or interest that you have. Don't you have that kind of account in Binance? I'm also puzzled with that as I've just seen that and can't remember anymore. Besides, no one can prove that he's the one that owns it unless he can show you a withdrawal transaction and sent that with the same details.

That is the biggest reason for the gambler who played in the casino, whether it's an online or offline casino. I am sure we can't say anything once we win and profit from the gambling games. But you that many people losses their money in gambling.

4308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Facebook advertising available for DeFi projects! on: October 02, 2020, 03:53:18 AM
who will provide a specific fee for this.
The owner of the group himself so it's op.

How are you going to propose a project to people who read you if you don't do some research? Or do you still conduct research on all the projects that you intend to advertise?
He has to make his research first before accepting an advertisement to his group but it looks like almost every advertiser will be accepted by him. Just look to what examplens have explained. There's no filter which posts are going to be accepted and declined.
4309  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: October 02, 2020, 03:06:37 AM
People are getting curious for every single thing that happens. Before, there's no worry about words and system that they are doing to the people but this time, it's just to happen that many became curious what really happens to the economy and how it happens. Finding the roots of all cause, they're all going through the bank and it's huge contribution to the cycle. Regardless of people's curiosity, I don't think they are worried if they can easily plan out speeches and explanations that will clear the minds of curious thoughts.
4310  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-10.01] Research Reveals Crypto Owners to Be the Riskiest Esports Bettors on: October 02, 2020, 02:38:32 AM
Esports bettors are also gamers. You will never know how die hard they/we are in a game that we are passionate about. Those games have skins or items and it's also part of the gambling esports community. You can sell it after using it or if don't like it anymore. The money that these gamblers have are just rotating all over the crypto casinos because it's very accessible to sell those in game items or digital goods and convert it to crypto or fiat as they wish.
4311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 01, 2020, 07:52:28 PM
Although for some we may think that ICOs are already outdated but they are not. Projects in ICO are still existing but you can see a few of them go into success.
The new scam for these projects is now inlining with the Defi market. They can easily create a project and will just list it on swap platforms and it's up to them how they will do the trick.
exactly the Popular Defi projects now are the target of these scammers because there are many noobs investing on those also.
The hype is very much with defi projects but I think it will be gone just after one more week or eventually there's no more hype on it by after a month.
It is the target of scammers because they know that a lot of newbie investors are going to go there and have their cake investments. While the newbie investors not being vigilant, they are prone and likely to be scammed if they are not practicing to research.

Good news and bad news for BAM!.

https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/30440/bam-adebayo

Quote
Bam Adebayo strained his left shoulder and did not return after 21 minutes of Miami's Game 1 defeat.

The good news is that X-rays were negative. The bad news is that shoulder injuries rarely require X-rays, and an MRI might be needed to fully assess the damage here. It's the NBA Finals, so Bam will presumably play through anything, but time will tell. If he misses games, Kelly Olynyk and Meyers Leonard both stand to gain.

Oct 1, 2020, 12:20 AM ET

That's the latest update, hope everything will be negative so he will be positive to play in game 2, the team needs his presence though the Lakers are so big but they are faster if they will work out a good plan.
I wish him to be in good faith and nothing really happened that bad and there's nothing to worry about. Yes, it's the finals and it would be very bad for him to feel that if findings are positive. We all acknowledge the strength of Lakers but for a team who's competing at the finals, each of them are very much important in these times from support, subs, plays, presence and almost everything that they can contribute to the team whether they win or lose.
4313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to see if a new coin supports mining? on: October 01, 2020, 12:09:45 PM
If it's PoW, then it certainly is for mining. PoW means proof of work which is the same as bitcoin. And the easiest thing to know is to look to the official website of that coin and see if it's possible to mine. You can also ask their community manager if there's any through their social media channels.
If they have an established ANN thread, it's better because most details are there if it's mineable or not.
I think op should read the whole white paper. In white paper OP will know everything about new projects. Minable coins don't matter, if minable numbers are limited like Bitcoin. Like Ethereum is switching from POW to POS but still we don't know the exact supply maybe like our gold supply.
Yes, the reading the whitepaper will give him the details. But do people still read whitepaper of projects? I don't think that a lot are still but there are remaining few. And those people are the critical investors who don't want to commit investment to the wrong projects.
If it's mineable, it is important for OP to know because he might be planning to mine interesting coins.

Welcome then.
As far as I remember, many projects did that. There's sort of soft and hard cap and whichever comes first, they'll have an extension and sort of promos just to get more investors breaking the hard cap that they've set. What I think is important is the truthness of your project. Think of it if after 2 years if ICOs are still up to date by that time.
4316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: September 30, 2020, 03:03:18 PM
In which part did those theories convinced you? I don't believe it is rigged and there's not that much advantage if ever it's real. I'm not thinking of something like this as if there's still mafia that controls the league or teams like to go through game 7 if it's likely to be ended within a straight game 4 series. There will be times that there are doubtful calls and actions from each player but I think it's really part of the game and also happens in other sporting events.

You usually find coins that are not very much popular. Are you investing on them before asking and sharing it here? I think with the trading volume that it gets daily, there's still possibility that you can make from it. But if everyone starts to dump, you should be quick to sell it and jump back to bitcoin or whichever capital you have used for buying this coin. I'll add more time of researching to coins that I'm not well-versed and don't have much knowledge.
4319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the digital gold narrative is incomplete or misleading? on: September 30, 2020, 05:03:40 AM
Thoughts like that naturally comes out when a person starts to realize those replacement, upgrade and innovation made by technology. Even as me, I thought of it before and you'll see various comparisons and description of bitcoin as the digital gold and potentially will replace in the future. But sometimes, those thoughts are going that much and becomes vague and ambitious due to the feeling that we're getting as someone who really likes bitcoin and being an investor/holder of it.

Your title is a little bit misleading or I am a little bit lost because in your title it says that you are offering 75% rakeback which is pretty good if I were to say especially if it is available to all the players and not just to agents but I saw in your post that you are only offering up to 55% rakeback only, which is true among the two? Because I am an agent of a certain poker and I am a little bit interested to your offer which is 75% rakeback as I am getting 65% rakeback only. I am willing to transfer if I can get a clearer answer to it.
75% is the maximum, if you are quite confused with that see this table: https://roundercasino.com/vip-rewards/
But if it's still not clear, you can leave a message on that chat box or contact them through https://roundercasino.com/contact/
