4301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risk in Crypto Assets Portfolio on: October 07, 2021, 12:00:24 PM
Thank you.

Stop loss and take profit options should really be helpful to minimize the risk and maximise the profit in either trading or holding.

I think that helps to safe from  crashing out totally but investors who like hodling like I do have no worries if you are a short time hodler. Having your coins in bitcoin or Ethereum is more financial appropriate for the crypto currency business than having it scattered in altcoins that have no real value.

This is looking you can take the thread to trading discussion board for the traders delight.
4302  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we see new ATH this year? on: October 04, 2021, 08:48:24 PM

The fact is that the governments and/or other major financial sectors just don't want bitcoin to reach ATH again and they do everything for that but the bitcoin is still very, very bullish, like never before! What do you think, will we reach new ATH again despite a such resistance?

Apart from government in their actions like banning bitcoin , I don't think they have business with what the price is. There main purpose is to erase bitcoin totally from the phase of the earth because of hate for fear of replacement of local fiat currency. However as with price hitting ATH isn't in control of government or institution, that depends on hodlers. Most times that there is fud news the price get stronger .
4303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arizona has legalized fantasy sports betting! on: October 04, 2021, 05:33:59 PM
How is it any different than a normal sports gambling for that to be legalized as if it's a different kind of gambling? Can someone tell me the difference because from what I've seen, there's not that much difference to a normal gambling.

From the information when you search online about it, I think it involves a team which you select for both sides then you belong to one team and off course you play to win the other team. Maybe I'm not very correct but I searched and got that on quote.
if you can do more searches to understand better.

Quote
Fantasy sports betting is a different concept from traditional sports betting, as you don't bet directly on the outcome of any sporting events. Instead you create a fantasy sports team and compete against opponents to try and win money.
4304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: October 04, 2021, 03:21:49 PM
OP didn't mention what kind of investment it is that the question is for and I think that should be known for proper response and guide because investment is in different ways. There are longtime, short time , direct trade. In the midst of longtime there is a longer or shorter time depending on target. So what your target of investment?

Do you want to hodl how long or you just want to short. Some fear trading like me so I prefer to hodl and investment should be on coins that are cheap but in exchange that are popular because of volume and volatility.
4305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arizona has legalized fantasy sports betting! on: October 04, 2021, 02:05:24 PM
With government what is concerned and the business of governance is to look ways of protection and generate income to pursue projects too to better the land. Fantasy sports is not really known to many and I don't think it is that popular in Nigeria. To legalize it in Arizona means it is old enough to  formalize it and generate income with it. The signing of this law by Doug Ducey has expounded the betting in Arizona.

4306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: October 04, 2021, 10:22:27 AM
NFT and GameFi are at the top of my list at the moment. There's lots of market excitement currently, and definitely some great opportunities to be had.

Advise is that you don't trade base on speculation and what others have said. Do your reach research properly. The excitement in the market is crazy for now and you need to be careful, the hype of such project is deserving a better research before going in.
4307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legalized Gambling where you live..where does it stand? on: October 03, 2021, 05:23:42 PM
I am just kind of curious how legalized gambling is coming along in whatever part of the world you live in?  I'm from Illinois in the United States and we just recently legalized many forms of gambling.  It's progressing pretty quickly too.  I'm hearing a lot of radio ads, seeing ads on TV for different sports books and what not etc.  I see this as great progress.  Free will is something we all deserve and though I know gambling can cause serious addiction etc, that shouldn't be up to our governments to decide whether we should be allowed to do it or not.

So I ask you, how is it coming along where you live?  Is it fully legal, coming close to being legal, or illegal with no change in sight?

In Nigeria I don't think the government has turned her eyes to gambling yet. I think there is just regulation by some body or individual body though recognised in the country but I don't know yet if government has made public statement about gambling like it has made with twitter or cryptocurrency. The gambling outfit in Nigeria is soccer with series of companies running on it like bet9ja, betking , etc. As to legalizing for now I don't know how that has gone, there are warning for under 18 years not to indulge in gambling however.
4308  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about this? on: October 03, 2021, 02:39:23 PM
I think when you try to by pass the site or inputting or using same data identification like email etc that is violation of the rules on double registration. Usually you get warning in such occasions because it looks impossible to use two identical information, the website will recognise it. I think is a conscience thing not to violate the rules there.
4309  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: October 03, 2021, 11:06:03 AM
It’s risky to not own any bitcoin. Fiat is getting devalued all the time.

I have heard btc being a crashing substance in the future when the price was less than $1,000 in 2016 but we are seeing the current price now. The lack of believe made bitcoin being compared and bought with pizza. Things have changed with inflation on fiat that the power to buy has dropped drastically but bitcoin isn't falling and likewise a trading instrument which is advantage over bitcoin. Since 2017 bitcoin has increased in worth but many countries currency has been devalued either by inflation affecting goods that is now worthless to use their currency or it has been devalued by government.
4310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple question on: October 03, 2021, 08:31:21 AM
So you're all in / a true believer, then. Dollar/fiat going to 0?
That is an irrelevant question. Those who believe in bitcoin don't buy convert their fiat to bitcoin because they think fiat is going to zero. They do it because they want to reach financial sovereignty.

I was wondering why I could now convert fiat to bitcoin because I believe in bitcoin. I think the right thing to be done is to buy and invest with extra money coming to you and allowing fiat you have to play its roll but not to go withdraw in bank to convert into bitcoin. Believing in bitcoin should not allow us to be stupid in our decision.
4311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think coin is the right choice? on: October 02, 2021, 07:15:06 PM

Which 3 coins do you think will gain value in the future?

Let me choose those potential coins I got this year, there's bnb, xrp and doge which I think has the highest potential to soar for long term. Gaining value doesn't mean to be rush, but with their community continues to gather strong influence as it kept developing and attracts more new investors.
[/quote]

Bnb and dogecoin looks good for the long run but xrp doesn't look it to that IMO. The xrp is stable and slowing growing but hardly has had a bull pass $3 despite the hype. It also has some legal tussle which like having some hard times for it. BNB and doge coin are looking good for their community is increasing , BNB as centralized project has a very active CEO and binance as exchange gives larger coverage, BNB has no limitation for volume increase.
4312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Plandemic Survey] I wonder how many of you have been vaccinated ? on: October 02, 2021, 04:19:19 PM
I have yet not considered taking the shot. I'm not scared of the middle nor syringe because I have taken other vaccines but I have not seen the reason to go under it at the moment maybe in days to come, I could put myself out for it.
4313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin Ban Again? Whenever In Doubt, Look At This List on: October 02, 2021, 02:06:47 PM
Well, enough with the Chinese banning of cryptocurrency news, because it seems like the FuD has just died down as the crypto market has been rapidly recovering after it fell down to $41,000 after the China ban news came out.
I don't know If people have learned about all this drama from China where it has happened several times and always had a negative impact to the price.

The China story and experience should be a lesson for investors that it is just a moment of down and within days recovery of market and rally and why this happens is still a mirage for my understanding. A ban that was suppose to harm will further make better what it intends to harm. Investors don't believe China after 2017 on the ban and bitcoin didn't stop, it went higher to unestimated value back then and since that era, bitcoin has got mare patronage.
4314  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin an independent property? on: October 02, 2021, 01:22:53 PM
If you put Bitcoin in a wallet address and declare that it is your private property before marriage, it will still be your asset after the divorce.
If you use Bitcoin to pay for something, then it is a common property.
The best way is to write a prenuptial agreement before marriage, but for your wife, she may suspect that you do not love her.

You have said a very simple response that I think is reasonable.

OP from your post you wrote like you want to know the situation and if you want to get married you can make the agreement so that your husband will know it but it is not nice to begin thinking of splitting your property when you are not married. However when you think you don't trust your partner, you can put a public will about your bitcoin and your both families know it. In the eyes of law it depends on the law in the land about bitcoin.
4315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't miss this opportunity to buy and hold BNB on: October 02, 2021, 01:01:43 PM
This is also one of my biggest regret when I dumped my bnb and wasnt able to buyback it before the bull run finally kicks in during the start of this year. Lucky those who have diamond hands and able to retain their holdings surely they already gained a lot on this price of bnb. But if any case that bears come, Im surely will buy back those bnb definitely. One of the best working exchange so far.

Well you don't need to regret on that sell you made on BNB because off course could have sold it in profit at the time and have used your money for a certain challenge the reason you decided to sell, so let it go . Some investors would still sell the hodling they have now and will express same regret when BNB jump to probably $3,000 soon. Is a decision to invest in a project by speculation because nobody actually know what price will be by tommorow or future, if they know the future they will sell off properties to buy. BNB is definitely going bull anytime bitcoin rally starts properly.
4316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto Communities do you know? on: October 01, 2021, 05:23:44 PM
I don't know why you are looking for such telegram link. Many people have lost interest in bounty promises and have moved on after being disappointed. Anyway there are many links you can search on the bounty side to connect with the bounty managers telegram channels and take it up from there. This is one handle you can check too @KrypitalBounty
4317  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is There Problem In the Crypto-currency? on: October 01, 2021, 04:12:31 PM

Reduction in bitcoin worth is a result of Ban in some countries such as China.

I do not want to agree to you for this. I want to disagree here that the worth of bitcoin is not decreasing at least you know the price around $47,000 today. How do we come to that agreement that what is said in China is affecting bitcoin price, bitcoin price is impacted by demand for it and the information from China isn't impacting negatively on bitcoin. Such centralized mode of communication won't affect bitcoin because investors not giving attention to China. But such news like those from Elon musk can cause such not China.
4318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football visual betting or Dice on: October 01, 2021, 03:05:17 PM
Between playing dice and football, visual prediction, which will you prefer as a passive gambler.

To a very high degree, football feels like a cool more enjoyable game better than the rest mentioned. Football is a game you see and when it is a tournament game where cups and benefits are involved, the outcome is highly contrasted and so it makes the betting also serious thing with attachment of sentiment of emotions but for dice and visual the attachment there are just for the money, that is the financial gains only and this is not so far football where you may bet because of the passion of supporting a team or you are the fan of the club. Football is more realistic to bet on, it is a game of chance though but most times the outcome are highly predicted correctly.

4320  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regarding the topic of hacking crypto scammers on: October 01, 2021, 11:20:16 AM

Whether something is a scam or not is very subjective, and wrongfully hacking a legitimate site even with good intentions in the first place can cause serious chaos.

I am with this view too. Such pursuit will amount to mere litiny of cases everywhere with no proper jurisdiction for it. Hacking a legitimate site on its own is an offense already except I'm not getting something correctly. I just suggest newbie should be careful not to be in a hate to invested and to ask questions.
