Thanks Togo!

What was deadline to get into the current Dec budget for voting?

If you type "getgovernanceinfo" command, it will show block 24,600 as the superblock

We are currently on block 22,466, so we still have 2,134 blocks to go, assuming 7 minute block rate that is still 10.37 days away, which means night of January 2nd in U.S. time is when the budget will pay out to all proposals with 10% net Yes votes in descending order of most yes votes.

This is my current understanding, I might be wrong, anyone else who knows for sure please chime in!

Its a little more complicated than that though, there are two phases each expense has to go through: proposal and budget.
The week before the superblock, we need to run the budget process (from the pool), and what happens is every proposal that fits in the budget will move to the Budget voting list.  (Sorted by expense type  (IE Charity, IT, PR, or P2P), votes descending , while Charity has the highest priority).

Anyway, once the budget is established it needs to be voted on by the sanctuaries.  They need to vote on the budget before the deadline which is 24 hours before the superblock hits.  So we need to be voting on it Id say T-3.  Then T-1 the budget is frozen and cannot be changed.

When we believe the budget is frozen, we issue a superblock trigger in the chain (the pool is programmed to automatically do this for us).  At this point the "triggerheight" that equals the superblock will be on all the budget records.

Then we sit back and pray that the superblock is generated.  After this happens, the budget items are moved to Funded.

Its great, I just deployed my new script to auto-delete posts from nerf-herder or adrianbits.

We are sooo advanced here, this is one reason we have organic growth, thanks Nerf for increasing our popularity.

This is free PR, and helps us.  I recommend buying BBP and keep posting as much as possible.

You might make a profit.

Guys,

I really need help on how to recover my balance:

So i updated to the latest version and my balance is showing 0 now after being synced or reindexing.

i used my backup wallet.dat and writed over the new wallet.dat. and Loaded BiblePay again and reindex it. Tools >> Wallet Repair >> Rebuild index and still nothing

I also i noticed that my wallet adress has changed.
The last 3 versions were mandatories, but did not create a breaking change for your prior balance.
The only way you could have lost coins is either: a) you lost your wallet, or b) you mined on a fork.

Please tell us, did you obtain this balance through mining between 1.0.6.5 and 1.0.7.1 or did you have it prior?

If your address changed you probably restored the wrong wallet.  You will have to find the original wallet or keys and restore from that backup.

Note To Sanctuaries:

It should yield at least 11 proposals and more than 200 votes.  If the number is lower, please ensure your watchman is updated to the latest and then resync the chain after deleting chainstate, blocks, and all .dat files except wallet.dat.

If anyone is looking for the linux commands, here they are (I stopped the sanctuary before doing this):

Code:
cd ~/.biblepaycore
rm blocks -R
rm chainstate -R
rm banlist.dat fee_estimates.dat governance.dat mncache.dat mnpayments.dat netfulfilled.dat peers.dat
cd /home/YOURUSERNAME/biblepay/src
./biblepayd -daemon -reindex

Reindexing as we speak...

EDIT: I can see all proposals again Smiley

did it again with -resync .   still getting an error:

./biblepay-cli gobject count
Governance Objects: 1 (Proposals: 0, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 1/1, Other: 0; Seen: 87), Votes: 35

./biblepay-cli gobject get 23f3af5b2b93d57bb5319d6c01ec98c9b2f5ca40628311c5054841295360c679
error code: -8
error message:
Unknown governance object

 "status": "Masternode successfully started"

Tiras,

Please be sure you did rm the *.dat except wallet.dat, and after restarting try:
mnsync reset

Wait for mnsync to go to 999

Then try the
gobject count

Worked for me....

Rob,
I did it twice on the sanctuary and made sure mnsync is 999.
 still :  Governance Objects: 1 (Proposals: 0, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 1/1, Other: 0; Seen: 88), Votes: 35

on my controller node counts are up to date : Governance Objects: 15 (Proposals: 14, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 1/1, Other: 0; Seen: 18), Votes: 310

The only idea I have on that sanctuary, is to ban every node you are connected to for one hour, then leave the connection to node.biblepay.org in the list, and try resyncing.  I believe if you stop biblepayd, delete gov*.dat and m*.dat, then try with one peer it should sync.

4330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: December 23, 2017, 04:26:19 PM
Now I am confused, do we do "gobject count" from the controller wallet or from the sanctuary wallet?

My controller wallet:
Code:
Governance Objects: 13 (Proposals: 12, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 1/1, Other: 0; Seen: 58), Votes: 314
(btw the number of votes has lowered compared to before!)

My sanctuary wallet:
Code:
Governance Objects: 2 (Proposals: 0, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 2/1, Other: 0; Seen: 80), Votes: 58

Both need synced in this case, controller in order to vote on an object, and sanctuary in order to sign the vote.

In Windows x64 and x32 version, it does not keep the peers. They flash on the peers list for a second then disappear. What could be causing this?

It also states, "No block source available".

-Edit-
Nevermind, it was the clock. It was off by 10 minutes. Thank you debug logs!

Remember this all!  We have Network Time protection in BBP, so if anyone is helping a user in social media please have them check their local time......

Note To Sanctuaries:

Since we had the mandatory upgrade for watchman-on-the-wall and our budget is coming up in 7 days, could I please ask you to run a few tests:

Please run the command:
gobject count

It should yield at least 11 proposals and more than 200 votes.  If the number is lower, please ensure your watchman is updated to the latest and then resync the chain after deleting chainstate, blocks, and all .dat files except wallet.dat.

After you have 11+ proposals showing, please go to the pool and copy the vote for command for the Orphan Premiums.  Then please vote on your sanctuary for or against the orphan premiums, and ensure the result says "SUCCESS".

We need to ensure every sanctuary is tallying votes properly.  Then take a look at the gobject list, and ensure the votes are > 0 for that proposal.  (You can do this by typing):
gobject get 23f3af5b2b93d57bb5319d6c01ec98c9b2f5ca40628311c5054841295360c679

You should see positive votes of ~24. for this proposal.

Thanks!

Im seeing all the proposals in my gobject list now!

I've updated 10 hours ago but I still only see one proposal.
If they havent populated by now, try removing your .dat files (except wallet.dat), your blocks, your chainstate and then resyncing and lets see if they pull in.  Then try voting on one for us.  This is serious as we are closing in on the deadline for a budget, so please try.

I was able to vote yes on it, but not on your 2nd proposal or the masternodes.online proposal

The proposals appear to be propogating across the network again.  I think the newest version of watchman is fixing it (knock on wood).

So we should show 'gobject count'=11 or higher.

I was able to re-load my gobjects in two nodes by: deleting gov*.dat, rm mnc*.dat, rm mnpay*.dat, rm chainstate -R, rm blocks -R, and resyncing (after upgrading watchman).  This is if you are impatient.  I believe we should sync over night.

Another interesting thing you can do, if you are impatient is manually load the proposals back in (this is how Im resubmitting our proposals to the network):

Code:

gobject submit 0 1 1513367312 5b5b2270726f706f73616c222c7b22656e645f65706f6368223a2231353133333637333132222c226e616d65223a2246697273742050726f642050726f706f73616c222c227061796d656e745f61646472657373223a22424339396b6b62326d767a365352644156595273674b616f576575596176594c5554222c227061796d656e745f616d6f756e74223a22323530222c2273746172745f65706f6368223a2231353133333637333132222c2274797065223a312c2275726c223a22687474703a2f2f666f72756d2e6269626c657061792e6f72672f696e6465782e7068703f746f7069633d34342e30227d5d5d c879b1a529cba8df92b6a7c0ceda29eefce2a71cf075d4bf8cac61e8e7393e81

So lets give it some time, and overnight lets see if we have 11+ gobjects, then we can verify the vote counts again and hopefully continue where we left off.

Just a suggestion but I think we should look for a alternative for c-cex.
The current support is not the best and a month on vacation .... look not really responsible.
(Just hope I have it right and the come back against all.the speculationso last days.)

Thanks, Ive been in contact with 4 of the top 6 exchanges over the last week, and did receive a message that one of them is very, very interested in integrating, they asked to not be named, but we should hear more about it by Jan 13th.  From what I can tell they want to help us grow.

"Status on the Socks to West LA and the first shipment being stolen by the courier":

Yes, I re-sent a new order for the first shipment to the amazon locker in west la (same address) and now it should arrive on Christmas Eve.

The socks are coming next Wednesday.

Is the pool down?

Hmm, didnt know about it, checking...

EDIT: It looks like the south region is down at vultr!   All my nodes in that region are failing to connect...

Down here as well.

Is this something that fixes itself when power returns or do we have to manually shut it down and restart

Im guessing its a routing issue to that region, so I assume when they fix it the nodes will still be up.
I doubt its a mainframe issue, because both of my win and linux nodes are down.
