4321  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legislation will prevent Bitcoin from being used as an everyday currency? on: October 01, 2021, 01:35:20 PM
This does not necessarily have to be done, as it is classified as an asset, but it is a temporary measure to collect taxes and impose legislation, but it is also difficult for governments to include digital currencies as securities.

The solution can be in the preparation of independent legislation about cryptocurrencies, which is something that will only happen when many people invest in cryptocurrencies, then you will get independent laws and this may happen within 10 years.

Until then, most countries don't invest much in tracking tools, so as long as you care about privacy, you don't need to pay taxes (I don't encourage you not to pay taxes or try to do that)
4322  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Convenient way to monitor BTC? on: October 01, 2021, 01:04:10 PM
Amazing tool, can you add some of --> https://cryptowat.ch/ features?

 - Most beginners may find it difficult to deal with the site and therefore large windows showing the price exactly as Khaled will be appropriate.
 - The possibility of dividing the screen in length and width and controlling prices from different platforms when dividing longitudinally and horizontally.
 - Change fonts and the way charts are displayed.

In general, this tool is worth a try.
4323  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regarding the topic of hacking crypto scammers on: October 01, 2021, 12:48:11 PM
The speed with which scammers can create sites is much faster than the possibility of stopping them even officially by governments.

You can succeed in eliminating scam by spreading awareness as it becomes more difficult for users to be deceived by traditional methods and thus scammers will need more resources to make scam work.

In general, however, there are some scam that cannot be discovered until after they have occurred, such as Bitconnect Coin, Confido[1] [2] [3].

4324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I need malaysia mobile number on: October 01, 2021, 12:31:57 PM
I need malaysia mobile number to get PIN code of perfectmoney it is once
I can pay $15 via tether trc20

try ----> https://smspva.com/ They support numbers in Malaysia, I'm not sure about perfectmoney's service, but you can try them. Their service accepts payments in cryptocurrencies and is much cheaper if you want OTC message.

In general, I do not advise you to use temporary numbers with financial services.
4325  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kraken is fined $1.25 million for illegal futures trading on: October 01, 2021, 12:00:42 PM
Quote
The CFTC’s Sept. 28 statement says that Kraken failed to register as a futures commission merchant. As such, it illegally offered margined retail commodities to investors between June 2020 and July 2021.

Source --->  https://www.cftc.gov/PressRoom/PressReleases/8433-21

It seems that this reason is not an audit on their part for money laundering or manipulation, and therefore the investigations did not begin to accurately enter the platform, but I see it as a warning sign to stop trading in futures trading.

so illegal futures trading is just failed to register as a futures commission merchant.

Well, then, sorry, but they deserve it, don't they?
The problem is not when they do wrong and they get fined (again, $1.25M sounds to me like a warning, not something to hurt them badly).
The problem is that in many cases there's lack of clarity on what a business has to do to comply. For example (although I don't like Coinbse), see the Coinbase lending vs SEC saga

AFAIK, CFTC is not something that you would like to be under them radar, especially since they can seized your business, I think what happened to Coinbase Pro disables margin trading after CFTC check.
4326  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Trading Bot that will Revolutionise Crypto Trading FOREVER!!! on: October 01, 2021, 11:46:46 AM
Instead of trying to prove your point, promote your project using some facts eg add a screenshot, links, credible user experiences or anything that can reinforce what you are saying.
Secondly, the guarantee of profit is not a good sign to be trusted, but on the contrary, it is a negative indicator because it either means that you are a scammer or a Ponzi scheme so that scam will happen at some point.

Finally, there are many reliable alternatives. You need something impressive to get people to trust you.

Overall, why not put money in escrow and let one of us try your trading bot?
4327  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I developed a free job listing website for crypto related jobs on: October 01, 2021, 11:39:01 AM
Is the site working well? I tried to access the site using Brave browser and VPN connection and I'm having some problems. it is slow and blank with a few options.
Do I need to create an account to be able to do anything? I thought that there is an ANN board and if I decide to communicate or use the escrow provided by the site, I need to create an account.
4328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to swing trade and profit on: September 30, 2021, 02:10:01 PM
You can make profits, but sometimes doing nothing may achieve gains if the price changes sharply, and therefore all swing positions will be losses compared to the price of Bitcoin.
When prices turn red, holding stable currencies and buying when everyone wants to sell is the best.

Generally, trading needs some patterns and style to provide liquidity when there is not much to gain in the market but don't let greed control you.
4329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to buy 100k worth of btc. on: September 30, 2021, 01:41:34 PM
Hi, looking to buy BTC.
100k worth of BTC and a 15% above market rate premium because I need it ASAP.
It can be understandable if you want to sell, but the purchase means that the first party must guarantee that the transaction has been completed and therefore you cannot reverse it, which means that you are forced to send the money first.

Generally such deals do not have to be done with an anonymous online account it is more than enough for AML warning.
4330  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Widget on Android on: September 30, 2021, 01:17:46 PM
I am not responsible for downloading an app in order to get a Bitcoin Widget that I can get for free with a few clicks on the browser or even on the TV.
I don't want to be rude but there are a lot of risks for so few benefits which can be easily obtained.

Add more stuff We're not in 2013. Bitcoin Widget isn't a hot thing.
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Have security install before Setting up bitcoin core on my computer? on: September 30, 2021, 01:05:21 PM
I want to download bitcoin core program my computer are there any security risk I should worry about? I have Ipvanish vpn and also Mcafee install on my computer.   Any suggestions I will appreciate it.
about security No, you only need to download it from official source and have enough space and time for sync.
Some antiviruses give false reports, so ignore them as long as you download from the official source.

Regarding privacy, Ipvanish vpn is not a good option, you need to install Tor properly for extra privacy.
4332  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Doubt about double spending on: September 30, 2021, 12:42:19 PM
I don't know how the casinos work but when you make the deposit they update their database, the parties can accept payments that have zero confirmations (in the case of bitcoin) and then delay the withdrawals until they are sure the user made the deposit.

In Bitcoin, coin is either with the sender or the receiver, there are no third parties.

They can also grant this feature for VIP accounts or those that have completed certain conditions. In the end, if you trust the other party, waiting for confirmations is meaningless.

Note that the Bitcoin network is almost the only one that you can trust with one confirmation, some blockchains even need more than 16 confirmations for that.
4333  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Machine on: September 30, 2021, 12:08:59 PM
The price that appears is a little expensive for the average user, as most of those who runs a full node are either obsessed with privacy (will not trust third parties) or they are inexperienced (there is no need to manage a full node.)

It is suitable for a small store or commercial store that accepts bitcoin and pays with the lightning network, but it is better to modify it a little to be a point of sale (a full node, hardware wallet, a screen to display the QR code and currency rates)
It's convenient and quick to set up. All you need is a few clicks and an Internet connection, waiting for syncing or the option to trust a third party.

Then a price of $600 or even 800 would be appropriate.

Personally, I see the device in its current form are useless.
4334  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Exodus wallet VPN problem on: September 30, 2021, 11:38:19 AM
what vpn do you use thats causing this problem ?

PVA (private internet access) I plan to stop using it and I've started to stop using Exodus.
I only had a problem with this wallet using this VPN and Psiphon (used it once and deleted it)
4335  Other / Meta / Re: Here Is One Reason Why Legendary Members Get So Many Merits on: September 30, 2021, 11:30:44 AM
Can someone tweak the stats a little by deleting legendary members with signatures? Most of them are from Chipmixer and Bestchange's campaigns, and some of them are from the rest of the campaigns?
These campaigns force members to create 50 or 25 topics per week, so the frequent posting will make them get merits regardless of the topic.

Also, some merit sources give it to Legendary members because they don't need it and will therefore redistribute it instead of beginners who may not know what to do with it.

Generally all of the above are observations and cannot be relied upon as reasons.
4336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet or Guarda? on: September 29, 2021, 12:43:12 PM
Hello,
I need a cryptocurrency wallet that usable on the Desktop and cell phone. I want to choose from Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet and Guarda. Which one is OK?

They are all closed source wallets, so some of them may be more secure than others, but we can't guarantee that?
if we compare Trust Wallet, Atomic Wallet and Guarda, trust wil win in my option.

Generally what currencies would you like to Hold and for how long (fees option), New wallet is open source and offers a good number of supported platforms and currencies, there is also MetaMask.
4337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scamming a private key scammer for 2308$? on: September 29, 2021, 12:10:48 PM
While scrolling on a random telegram channel, i found a post saying: "my country has banned crypto trading and i want to out my investment, someone help, my private key is : c94f4a0988ffc2b473de335a52a35d812d8b8db9b4fdef16fa1d0144255203a7 "

Most of the requests for help from Telegram are scams or trolling and therefore it is better to avoid including the private key in any wallet as the other party has lost everything that proves its ownership of those coins.

Some tokens are locked under certain conditions, such as trading in a specific platform or paying certain gas fees or others, but the problem lies in selling them, as some currencies are sold on an anonymous platform that requires identity verification or depositing funds, which is an indirect fraud.
4338  Economy / Economics / Re: What are Economic Expenses of Eastern Countries? on: September 29, 2021, 11:43:05 AM
There is no point in comparing the level of income and expenditure in a country and your country, unless you want to work in those countries and send the surplus money to your family, as the amount of $150 as a surplus is considered easy in some countries and is considered net income in other countries.

In my country, there is a wide range of luxury that you can get, but it is difficult and sometimes impossible to live without $700 per person and $2500 for a medium-sized family, especially if it includes rental fees and electricity and water expenses.

So $150 is pretty cheap here.
4339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade certain coins if you are country restricted? on: September 29, 2021, 11:14:20 AM
Avoid the currencies listed on one or two platforms or those that do not have high liquidity, as you waste a lot of money in this way.
Some platforms do not require identity verification so you can use it without using VPN *for small amounts.* Kucoin AS example/
Finally, some decentralized platforms or currency trading board of this forum will be appropriate, but it is better to avoid platforms that have small trading volumes or are listed on few platforms.
4340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mr Goxx, the crypto-trading hamster beating human investors on: September 29, 2021, 11:08:27 AM
Hopefully Mr Goxx is right, I invested $1000 in that currency last year, it didn't grow well this year so I need a lot of luck to make some profits.
Such news is loved by newspapers and attracts a lot of reading, and some indirect interventions may be made to increase followers and make the news hot, but it should not be taken as investment advice.

If he does not beat human investors, this headline will have no meaning.
