Brute force won't work.

His roommates reported...
Ulbricht was more often seen curled up in a living roof sofa reading—possibly sci-fi novels from the local library–when not at his computer.

and he was arrested in the tiny science fiction section of the Glen Park (SF) library.

private key is based on text from

alright, let's assume this is correct and he did in fact use a brainwallet:

address is: 1933...

so I tried page 19 paragraph 33 - nothing

I went to page 9, that's the start of chapter III

but nothing :<

Cheesy

bitcoinfog.com is the only deepnet service for this purpose (at least to my knowledge). maybe he used them, if he didn't mix it himself

In personal's view, Invest on mining as only mining provides the massive amount of profit rate. You may invest half on CEX.IO to help you for a while. (Currently the selling price is normally twice than the searching price.)

The second stage will be on alternative coins.

The third stage will be on money makes money basis.

best method to actually lose money. really bad call in my opinion.

I use a fix amount on a monthly basis to buy bitcoin, as long as it's under 100€ / $150. After it hit the line, I'll buy for half.

see:
invest half of what you really want to invest
and plan to buy more if price drops well below where you first got in.
that way, if price goes up, at least you got to put some money in,
and if price goes down, you get to buy more than you would have gotten.

good luck.

WTF does Facebook hack have to do with BTCJam?

you can link your facebook account to btcjam as login. no idea why you would use that though.

Why are you loaning money to someone who takes out reputation loans?  That is a sure sign of a scammer.

cause by the time he asked for the 3rd loan and paid 1 back. I knew something was wrong when 5 more popped up, but it obviously was too late by then.

also, BTCJam support's unresponsive.

http://safebyte.com/

Although you currently need an invite code for it, but it looks VERY promising. It's currently in beta.

what's so promising about it?

except for traffic restrictions and 1gb free space I can't seem to find any "features"

Personally, I lost 1BTC to this guy on BTCJam.

https://btcjam.com/users/4348 - all loans are overdue since one month, claims his "facebook got hacked".

Quote
My facebook account has been hacked. All of these loans are stolen!!!! DO NOT INVEST UNTIL THIS IS CLEARED UP!!!!!!! I AM NOT RECEIVING THESE FUNDS OR REQUESTING THEM

My BTCJam account has been hacked and several loans (totaling 16 btc) have been taken out and stolen. I did do seek these loans and have thus far only taken 2 rep builders. All the rest is fraud/hacked acct. If anyone can help me get these coins back, I would be very happy. This isn't the only acct I had hacked but it was the only one where other people's money is involved. So far I've lost 30 btc this week and still finding them gone. DAMN IT!!! This will turn me from an btc evangelist to a hater real quick. There needs to be a way to secure coins (if a person chooses) and they not be spendable till the 2-stage is completed or something. Doesn't seem that hard to do.

FOR NOW, FUCK BITCOIN AND ALL THE THIEVING SONS A BITCHES INVOLVED!!!! i HOPE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH!!!!

needless to say that I don't believe him.

btw, I still can't access bitmit

enjoy your internet censorship lol

use tor to access bitmit.

From a privacy perspective, using dropbox for anything more than pictures of your cat is probably a pretty bad idea anyway.

I think it doesn't really matter if you use a truecrypt container

PErsonally I really like the idea of Bittorrent Sync.

not even open sourced

you won't get your money from gox. don't you find it strange that no one else is doing it?
