4321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the digital gold narrative is incomplete or misleading? on: September 30, 2020, 12:17:05 PM
I am wondering who was the first person who had compared Bitcoin with the gold. OP's point about the comparison of Gold and Bitcoin is quite reasonable. I am not agreed with them those have been saying Bitcoin as digital gold. Its because, money can't be compared with the assets, doesn't matter how valuable that assets. We know that Bitcoin is a digital (crypto) currency we can exchange it with the gold, but shouldn't compare or shouldn't call as a Bitcoin's competitor.

I know people compare Bitcoin and Gold to explain how the potential to invest in Bitcoin. But more important is to explain the technology of Bitcoin so that investors automatically will realize what is bitcoin and how its potential.
4322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Whalebitcapital.com - A Ponzi Scheme. on: September 30, 2020, 06:13:40 AM
Website: https://whalebitcapital.com
Archived: https://archive.is/LGuCa
Forum profile: N/A
What happened: Ponzi Scheme.

Noticed from Facebook and wondering to share with the community to avoid this ponzi scheme. This thread would appear on Google search, so who will search on Google they would realize that is a potential scam. Up to 3% return per day is a huge return, there is no such as money making machine. Just stay away...

4323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read the rules and don't post plagiarised content. on: September 29, 2020, 02:49:33 PM
Although this topic has been discussed multiple times, reminding a good thing will help newbies to realize the result of plagiarism. To be honest, the main problem is newbies aren't encouraged to read forum rules and eventually ending up with the ban. Most newbies have been joining on the forum just for earning money and they do not care about contributions. Who copy-pasting other's work, they know that's it's a crime since they copy-pasting it consciously. But they don't know that they would get a ban for this.

No one can help us if we don't like to help ourselves. We should have the sense to realize which is wrong and which is right. There are so many things we should learn on the forum including forum rules. Although we can't help others we can save our own account by avoiding plagiarism.
4324  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin Signature is back on: September 29, 2020, 01:55:05 PM
Bumping this thread since Livecoin Signature campaign live once again. Here is the announcement, recruiting 25 participants again. It's just a reminder that there was some issue regarding Livecoin exchange. Here is the scam accusation and Livecoin hasn't solved it. I am assuming forum moderators will be quite busy to prevent spam after run this campaign  Wink
4325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin countries: top hotspots that use BTC on: September 29, 2020, 07:04:43 AM
Let us know, how popular is Bitcoin in your country?
Don't know why am I facing difficulties opening your blog link. I had to open via Tor eventually, assuming due to the gambling restriction of my country. Bitcoin is not much popular in my country, its because our government stands against bitcoin strongly. I was surprised when I have watched a report on television about Bitcoin. Because 90% of university students don't know about Bitcoin in this digital world. If you are caught trading or using Bitcoin then you have to go jail. That's why I am hiding my country name due to privacy. Spreading the word about Bitcoin except for very near friends & families is quite risky for us.
4326  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any restriction to reward LTC in Games and rounds section? on: September 28, 2020, 02:49:09 PM
As I can see from the LoyceV archive, you have asked to post the Return Address & Current Litecoin Block Number. You can't simply pay for the posting address on your thread. Even for Bitcoin giveaway, you may encounter trouble for such as giveaway. You may run an off-forum giveaway, like you may link a google form to post Return Address & Current Litecoin Block Number on your giveaway thread. In this way, you may run your giveaway on the Altcoin Bounty section. But remember, you can't ask or force participants to make a reply on the giveaway thread in order to get paid.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
4327  Economy / Reputation / Another BSV shilling account "SaveBSV" on: September 28, 2020, 09:00:51 AM
Bitcointalk profile: SaveBSV
Bitcointalk Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278357.0
Archived thread: https://archive.is/4NkNp
Related website: https://savebsv.com
Archived website: https://archive.is/GFDJP

Another BSV shilling account, you will get everything when you will read the thread mentioned above. In a short word, SaveBSV providing a service where BSV users could store their coins for a certain period of time (without any return on investment of course). But users can't withdraw their funds within this period except for a certain day. They are claiming funds are safe with them. There are no accounts, no private keys with you. Simply they are generating a BSV address where you will have to sent the coin and you have to provide a return address as well where they will return coin on a certain day in the future. Don't know if they are willing to skip with the fund.

But according to Bitcoin SV - "OP is created his service just for fun". As I replied there how it's fun since the website generating the BSV address to send the fund? What will happen if some send funds to that address since it's just fun?
4328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW SERVICE - SaveBSV on: September 28, 2020, 08:33:36 AM
You are ridiculous Coolcryptovator. OP is created his service just for fun. You idiots exposing yourself to ridicule, seriously referring to this joke
Quoted for reference and Archived as well. Do you think a website has been created just for fun? How fool are you? The website is creating a BSV address to make a deposit, is it fun? If someone makes a deposit then? Still, it will be fun? Yea, OP said he isn't someone from BSV official, but you are telling it's fun. Who will be responsible for the lost fund in case? Stop trolling BSV stupid.
4329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW SERVICE - SaveBSV on: September 28, 2020, 07:41:16 AM
The reason why someone might want to use our service is to keep coins safe from him/herself. You know 100% that these coins are coming back to you at a certain day in the future, at the same time you can't give in to your urges and spend them.
It's really ridiculous that I can't use my assets during my urgent need and bad time. Just the first time I am hearing someone saying that my coins are safe when it's out of my hand and out of my control. You are saying that you don't have access to the coins, so how it will be sent back to the sender on a certain day in the future. Is there any automated system? Where this BSV will store that will be sent out to your website?

I am more curious about locked periods. Why should I keep my coins there and lock for a certain period? Even you deposit fiat into a bank for a certain period of the time then you will be able to withdraw it anytime for emergencies. But from your site, we can't withdraw. What will happen with the funds if the website being compromised or disappear? Because we don't have the private keys of our funds, does it mean our fund has gone forever?
4330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 28, 2020, 07:24:25 AM
I am assuming you are a beginner on the gambling. As you know, low-risk low gain and high-risk high gain. You aren't happy because your betting amount is very low but you are betting on multiple matches. But do you have noticed that you are learning lots of things? If you bet high amount at the beginning either you would lose or gain high. But you can't learn a lot. So my suggestion just continues a few more days or weeks with the same strategy as you are playing now. So you will gain much more knowledge about gambling and related stuff. Then it would be the best & smart decision to gambling with quite a high amount than now.
4331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0 DeFi - HBTC on: September 28, 2020, 06:41:38 AM
I am not getting the point of how it would push bitcoin to the next level? There would be DeFi 2 or more versions, but everyone is looking for their own profits. That's how just a couple of shitcoin will be in the markets. Whatever modifying the name/symbols, just keep in mind when you are moving from the bitcoin blockchain means you are entering into a shitcoin or token. Bitcoin always is bitcoin, by creating lots of shitcoins either its DeFi or CeFi wouldn't push bitcoin into the next level. I am wondering why Huobi wants to create multiple coins/tokens? I don't know when and how the DeFi trend will be ended up eventually.

4333  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can two accounts promote different signature campaign? on: September 27, 2020, 05:30:19 PM
Yes, you can. You should read the rules of the campaign that you are going to participate in. Nothing wrong if you aren't abusing the forum rules and campaign rules as well. If you are caught abusing any campaign including a social media campaign, then you would get an immediate tag from the DT members.

By the way, I think this thread should on the Reputation board since it's not a scam accusation. Just keep in mind, don't be a greedy man.
4334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW SERVICE - SaveBSV on: September 27, 2020, 05:24:14 PM
Archived for future reference. This is another BSV shilling account. What is the purpose of the website if it's not affiliated with the BSV? On your FAQ your answer about if the fund is safe with you, the answer is if my private key is safe where you will send the fund at the provided date. My question is, why should I send the funds to you if I know the use of the private key? Aren't my funds safe with a private key from the beginning before I send it to you?

It's good that you don't have a Ponzi scheme option. But really I am not getting the goal of sending funds to you except advertising BSV. Although I don't have BSV, I won't use your site even I had. Suggesting to avoid this service which has the ZERO goal, just keep your assets under the control of you. Don't handover it to an unknown website.
4335  Economy / Reputation / Re: Suspicious donation for baby? on: September 27, 2020, 02:46:39 PM
Everyone has problems and everyone needs money in the world. In continuation of this, peoples choosing the various way to earn money. Even peoples do care if they have to scam others. Many fake donation topics have been creating on the forum. It's become really hard to identifying real cases. The problem is, scammers, getting advantage of our generosity and endangered peoples have been deprived of the helps.

Asking donation from a newbie account is really suspicious either it's the real or fake case. Simply forum users will skip the thread without donating. Because it's not quite reasonable to send donations to the newbie's account.

4338  Other / Meta / Re: Troll role? on: September 26, 2020, 05:47:00 PM
I don't understand what forum rule NO TROLLING means when no actions are taken against trolls?
Rules don't apply for trolls?
The definition of troll on the forum is quite complicated. Admins/moderators have been taking action against serious and obvious trolls. But we have seen a ban for a troll is very less. If I say something against you, then you may report it as a troll. So during the report of troll should write a proper explanation of why do you think this post is a troll. Simply create a thread (false accusation) against someone would consider as a troll and a ban isn't suited for such as user. Perhaps when they will cross their limits and moderators get multiple good reports then a user gets punish like a temp or parma ban. But most likely moderators are limited with troll definition.
4339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam $230 by VipSellerAWS on: September 26, 2020, 05:31:36 PM
Seems you aren't a very new user of this forum. You should know how to deal with a locked self-moderated thread. Also, I have noticed there is neutral feedback on the seller profile, shouldn't you see the trust rating of any seller where you are going to deal? Sales thread with locked and self-moderated is obvious shady behavior. It would lead to a scam.

Anyway, sorry for your loss. You should provide more information with some more evidence. Please see the pin post for the correct format of the scam accusation. Screenshots aren't believable always. Do you have any chat logs with the seller where he/she had provided a Bitcoin address? If so you can provide here and it is verifiable with moderators. If not, then it would be a lesson for you and others as well that before dealing with an untrusted person should use escrow and chat via forum PM. So you will not a victim by using escrow.
4340  Economy / Reputation / Re: News about suchmoon. (Not moderated) on: September 26, 2020, 04:59:04 PM
I believe you know very well that accusing someone verbally without proper evidence isn't worthy of something. You should provide some potential links between these two accounts. On the other hand, I can't see any accusation against Betmoose. Just make false a story about someone is very easy and it's not acceptable by this community. I have been accused multiple times of various reasons without any proper evidence. But fortunately, the fact will not change if there is no enough evidence for back to your claim.

When I read the topic title I thought there would some interesting news. But seems your topic title is misleading as well. Please be realistic and provide some more solid information with evidence. So the community would take a look at your post.
