^sha-256 besides bitcoin are all basically worthless and impractical to mine. Personally, I am planning to mine with my antminers until the bitmain price is in the 1BTC range, then trying to sell them around 1.3-1.5BTC since that seems to be the appropriate markup here is my rig - 2 antminers and required PSU(s) per crate, plus another antminer on the table behind it. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi59.tinypic.com%2F14o614z.jpg&t=663&c=Hsrdt4VHstrcUg) Wait let me get this clear... You are waiting for the Antminer price to drop to 1BTC so you can sell yours for 1.3BTC? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ?

Here is my little setup..
Are you making any coins out of this? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Sorry to ask but I though usb miners were a lost cause. At the moment it gets about 80p a day in Bitcoin, or £4 if I sell a 24hr 'contract' on ebay, if I sold up today I'd be in profit on the equipment so I keep a close eye on the resale prices. Not looking to get rich tbh but it's a good platform to play/learn some Linux. I still don't get it. Did you make a ROI on them?

so does your website have them instock now?
No, but I hope they will have more... or found them too late ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) It's CNY so don't expect anything before 08 Feb

I know I said I wouldn't reply to you anymore, but I just need to make one point. If you go around and say that every pre-order is a scam, then you will most likely be right on a few of them. Doesn't mean you're right all the time. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. That's all.
PG has been right more often than not. He is abrasive, often amusing, and dogged as hell. I think he's wrong on this one, but He is not a troll. Dude, are you Chuck Norris? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Only Chuck Norris is cool enough to be Chuck Norris ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I was talking about his avatar.... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Funny, last guy said I looked like Tommy Shaw. I'll take it, either way ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) . (yeah, the avatar is me. I've cut my hair since then, and it's not blonde at the moment... ) SO you are not Chuck Norris? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) So I am never going to meet him??? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Why would they get hot, they are outside.
Hot weather maybe? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Anyways as long as it's working for you man I am happy. I too am planning on acquiring more Ants when the price drops more

Never would have guessed ram chips would get so damn hot! Hello, whats your motherboard? How much did this setup cost you?

Does it not get hot in there?
Btw what w are your corsairs?
I only have one Ant on a 500w Thermaltake, planning on moving its location soon and adding a 500w UPS to it.

Jeff if you consider dropping your price on the 320G miner then I will consider buying one.
Sorry but for that amount of money by FEB 8, I can get 3 Antminers that total 600GH+ overclocked.
So think about it....
Where are u getting this numbers from? From what I see happening... I bought an Antminer for 2.2BTC two days later it was 1.9BTC (I got a discount coupon). A bit after that lower and now at 1.45BTC and shipping starts at 08FEB. Which means that after that any order coming through would have be for a price that is logical given the difficulty changes. So my guess is that by Feb 08-09 Antminers should cost like something in the range of 0.8-1BTC, anything over that is a waste of money. And they know it, that's why they keep dropping prices.

I've got 3 Antminers, in-hand. They are running at 180 GH each, working wonderfully. I'm thinking of selling them for 2.2 BTC each. I know, I know, you can buy them for 1.9 BTC from bitmain. The won't ship for 3 weks though, due to Chinese New Year shipment delays.
I'm in the USA, and I'll only ship to the USA. The total includes next day shipping.
They are 1.45BTC each and they start shipping on FEB 08

in other words... (according to google translate) "There is no revolution brother not looking. The sygkegkrimena chips / modules is the gridseed and buy with $ 2K for 10, but still extremely expensive. After buying a antminer for $ 1200 you makes more why bother;" No in other words... The is no revolution here bro. These chips are made by Gridseed and you can get 10 of them for $2K, yet still too expensive. If you can get an Antminer for $1200 which makes you more so why bother? Also Antminers are expected to drop price by FEB08

WHAT: 1 share is equivalent to approximately 10GH/s. Cost for each share is 0.1BTC
Sorry to ask this question but..... are you on drugs? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Hi, Any idea who shipped how much hash power? KNC, ASICMiner, BFL, cointerra? any pointers to previous discussion? Thanks.
I do not know if they started shipping yet but I can tell you for sure that they are in "testing" phase. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) And God knows they are working wonderfully! Here have a look: https://blockchain.info/address/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX?offset=0&filter=0More than $2.5mil in a bit more than a month. Not bad huh?

My miners came in very late, and I just got to open the packages yesterday due to the plane trouble and a customs hold on top of that. I was expecting having to do a cleanup of the miners as well based on the last few days of reading here on possibly used equipment. When i opened the packages i could barely see a speck of dust on the units, and they smell just like brand new with 2014 printed on them. Booted right up without any trouble. One happy customer here despite all the delays.
These new units are running very stable with overclock at 203.5 to 209.2 gh/s. Ambient temp on location is +5C to +8C.
I do have one question that I have not found the answer to though. Is it possible to force the fan speed higher using the antminer controller? Perhaps make it run at least 60% all the time?
Why not add an extra fan? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

i have a problem, and i wonder if anyone got the same issue after 2 days of mining i start to get errors on both miners 2 antiminers s1: ooxxxooo oxoxoxxo oooxoooo oxxooooo
On BTC Guild, i have the same hash rate.
After a reboot, the errors goes away, and i can mine again for 2 days or so...
Ignore them it is just a display bug. I agree. If your hashrates are fine the X does not mean anything. However if you keep getting that error check your PSU. That error is listed in the antiminer setup and troubleshoot guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0i don't think is the soruce, cause i use corsair 750w, for every miner. I heard some corsairs have problems. Anyways, I am not an expert just giving my 2c
