4321  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, what's up with the price? on: March 21, 2017, 02:22:24 AM
I understand from this that bitcoin price is the reflection of the relationships in bitcoin community.

Dead accurate. That actually is the main driver in this ongoing price madness.
Nothing looks to be an accurate death. The core has lost power, but seems to be the strongest than the Bitcoin unlimited. The reason is that miners now focus much on BU. Soon it might go down, because the biggest mining pool works on Bitcoin unlimited and was under the control of Wu. The same could happen to the entire community if BU is supported altogether.
4322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Unlimited Won't Ever Be The "Bitcoin", Exchanges Vow on: March 21, 2017, 02:04:52 AM

BU has serious bugs, thay are not able to fix it

The last critical bug that caused nodes to go offline was fixed in about an hour.
The bug caused a crash to the BU network making a drop to 32% support from the miners. Same time the nodes fell from 781 towards 490 which has been recorded as the lowest since October 2016. Now it has regained and reached 690 nodes. I believe now too developers might be with plans to crash if it evolves as a threat getting listed as BTU on exchanges.
4323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Studios: the first knowledge hub for South East Asia on: March 21, 2017, 01:45:42 AM
Hello everyone!

We wrote an article about the newest blockchain incubator, Satoshi Studios, and we think its a great development in the region especially to countries who are starting to embrace Bitcoin and blockchain. This will result to more blockchain applications from south east asia and increased adoption across the region.

What are your thoughts about this? Let us know  Smiley

Your efforts in making that article was nice but the only problem is how would you make people especially the masses who dont know what is bitcoin read your story. Thus it is not sufficient enough writing an article about bitcoin if you dont make a promotion so that everybody could read your article. But I dont have anymore to comment except for the promotion, your website is well made as well as the articles was written clearly.

I agree no matter how great is the site and its article if it is not promoted well, it will do only a little.  Aside from that I think you should have translated article in their languages.  Most of South East Asian people have difficulty in understanding English, though translator helps but the sentence structure is way different which can cause misunderstanding.  About Promotion, I think facebook is the best place to promote your site.  SEA are fond of using facebook.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, we will try to work on those. We have articles that talks about Bitcoin itself maybe we will have to link them on our future articles. When it comes to translation, we might gonna be doing that in the future but it would cost us a bit more. We have a facebook page and you might want to visit and like us there. Thanks Smiley
That's a good start to make people understand perfectly about bitcoin. As most users suggested the creation is good but to reach the common public promotion is a must. From your quote you have a Facebook page which is good. Using the social media platforms is the best these days to promote our works. I suggest a application development will make you effort much perfect.
4324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: March 21, 2017, 01:30:26 AM
Bribery is nothing in comparison to what is possible in the deep web .well dont do bribery , as it is a crime .
Though everyone knew giving as well getting bribe is a crime we continue to do the same as we are benefiting out of it. Bitcoin has just made the process easier, if bitcoin is not found they would continue with fiat or gift cards. So at least through those bribery let us have an increased circulation of bitcoin causing a growth.
4325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: March 20, 2017, 12:12:25 PM
I would rather donate it all to charity and people who need it rather than gamble it all away.
The thought of doubling my money is tempting, but I might lose it all.
Ofc, I don't have a family so it won't matter but why gamble it if I can leave that money for people who need it.

we have donated money to charity is something billions of times better than spending money just to gamble. If today is our last day and we deliberately spend our money and time to gamble then we've wasted the end of our lives for things that no points. So your time is wasted, it will be memorable for you and those closest to you if you spend the end of your life with them. Your money will not have a sense that if you have spent gambling at the end of your life. At least share with your sisters, your children and your beloved ones. Your money would be more useful.
There is no point of gambling at our last day of our life because at the end,  we will just die and risking is useless.  It is better to cherish the moment with your family and love ones rather than spend it on useless things such as gambling just like the guy above.
As said there are so many good things in which we can spend at our last day of living. Only the addicted people have such a mentality to participate into gambling without giving importance to any other good deeds. If I have a good sum of bitcoins then I'll hold them  though it's my last day. It gets used to my generation if bitcoin was worthy in future.
4326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 20, 2017, 11:20:33 AM
Till date no country has made official statement banning bitcoin usage within the country. They have just made bitcoin a secondary means and has warned people on using bitcoin considering it an threat to the economy of the country. So now or near future no need to think of a ban on bitcoin. If banning is done, the people search some other way to use it.
4327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: March 20, 2017, 11:04:24 AM
Bitcoin is truly making a difference in the usage accessibility of currency. This has made bitcoin get added to the list of currency that exist and in usage around the globe. Business people fear about the fluctuations but soon we can expect positive impacts felt on usage as currency.
4328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A online game use bitcoin as payment? on: March 19, 2017, 03:09:56 AM
It's a good initiation on bitcoin getting accepted for gaming needs. Possibly bitcoin will gain a little popularity through this step on gaming industry. At the same only very few among the gaming people prefer to play paying fiat or other sources. Everyone are interested on playing free of cost.
4329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Unlimited rapidly taking over on: March 19, 2017, 02:56:05 AM
it not fud so much as people are just sick of the internal fighting, and the implication of lack of dev via no consensus, and the strangleing of btc, when it should be happy that it is getting so much demand! The fact you can use normal x-actions anymore, and your coins are perma locked at the mercy of the current state of the mempool

I mean it all gone so right for btc then at the critical moment nope do want block size to be any bigger.

Yeah. This has been going on for about three years now. It needs to be resolved one way or another. I miss the days when Gavin was the lead dev and everything seemed stable from the tech side of things.
As stated block size debate have been going for a long time without any conclusion getting effect. The development team is quite good than any other, even when the bitcoin network got effected due to bitcoin unlimited a bug was imposed on the network. But even after that the crash didn't last long causing a drop to bitcoin and not BU.
4330  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 19, 2017, 02:39:46 AM
Many people would have sold today when price started to go down as they would have thought that it can go back to 800 level in next few days but if you managed to have patience and if you are still holding your bitcoins then you will be winner in long run.
Well, we just need to be patient and wait. That is all we need. Bitcoin's price is really unpredictable which is really the reason why people are scared of it.
Scared and it's the reason why panic selling of bitcoin takes place. Now in a short time period of around 24 hours time bitcoin has dropped $200. Such a price drop sure will make the user lose temper and go for a selling. Unpredictability is the fact but we need to be prepared to overcome it.
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was the SEC right after all? on: March 19, 2017, 02:05:10 AM
the only reason the twinkle-toes wanted SEC adoption was to fill their pockets. They are heavily invested.

their application must have cost many millions but don't forget they have over 100,000 coins with an average buy of about $10. their pockets are already filled pretty nice.
They've millions dollar. ETF is just about the bitcoin business and the winklevii will take the advantages from its decision. But the big problem in here is a hardfork for the bitcoin. Bucoin and every bitcoin hodler will get free bucoin. It's free money but will decrease the value of bitcoin.
We cannot conclude how perfect SEC was, because we just go based on the information gathered from different sources. SEC committee themselves made committee's to work on different factors related to approval and rejection. As quoted the Etf too is not a big concern, the hard fork is getting into complication due to the existence of Bucoin.
4332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: March 18, 2017, 04:09:25 AM
My first choice would be to bet on cricket and the second choice would be tennis as both are very interesting games and odds can go in your favor if you keep a close watch on game and so far I have made good money by betting on cricket and have lost many times in tennis.
Yeah with cricket you can make a perfect prediction but with tennis even on close watching you cannot make perfect prediction. A single point change entire match as well the odds get lower instantly. I too take risk with tennis and have lost much than profiting. Only on selected matches we can get assured win with low odds.
4333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the selloff? on: March 18, 2017, 03:55:59 AM

is bitcoin, some days it can do something like this. 5%-10% up and down  , nothing to panic about
exactly. A 10% drop is somethinhg completely normal in Bitcoin. Now, with prices above $1200 we are talking about $120 that are these 10%.
As stated a 10% drop in price is something normal with bitcoin, but right now the scenario is different. Several complications were going around among the mining pools and the miners leading to catastrophic failure in the price increase. So this seems to take time for the issue to get sought. On this basis users tend to sell off.
4334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.5 btc tx fee on: March 18, 2017, 03:43:16 AM
I think this happened because he could have thought that he's placing transaction fee in the form of dollars. In such a way to get faster confirmation could have done it without understanding the representation of btc and dollar separately. The user is simply helpless, because such transaction get confirmed in a short as well getting back is tedious.
4335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 18, 2017, 03:30:32 AM
bitcoin will die if internet connection is die too, because we can't access it without internet and it will die when people's find new future money which it's better than bitcoin, and more valuable from bitcoin, low fees and fast transaction
Right now the internet plays the key role in the digital money growth. Bitcoin dies if none is there to take bitcoin to the technology upliftment same as what's happening right now. Some other digital currency taking power over bitcoin will surely cause a negative impact on the growth but till 21 million gets mined no need to think about death.
4336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Things I Learned as A Bitcoin Holder on: March 18, 2017, 03:10:21 AM
Everyone cannot be lucky enough to get the profit out of it. Only few make it as an investment holding and wait for a long time, most others have the tendency to sell during small bumps and gain the profit. Patience is the must for such a profitability.
4337  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: March 17, 2017, 02:46:45 AM
Wow, 300 BTC at current prices is like half a million dollars.

Nice to see a legitimate and trustworthy casino operator that is able to pay out such huge sums without any hassles. The two other casino owners that I could trust 300 BTC with(I wish lol) would be doog and dean.

Anyways, good luck all!

That is the real beauty of bitdice and for that huge amount of money given to the lucky winner surely they are one of the best dice site/gambling site that we seen today and this win is good since im pretty sure that this is eye opener to other gamblers that playing at bitdice is good and safe.

And if you want to win the same as the lucky winner well maybe its very best for you to try and bet for them so that you have a chance to get the next big pot.
This really indicates on how legitimate this business/gambling is because they dont have any issues regarding on withdrawing this huge amount winning by a player. 300 btc is almost half a million dollars, imagine that? Theres no problem on withdrawing that amount which means this is really a good site.
BitDice  has gained more trust than required as well the reputation from gamblers all over the corners. This is just based on the way it's been managed. I have never come across a single negative feedback given by people using it. Also it is the site providing highest winning chance to playes, which helps attracting more users.
4338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price drop few hours ago? on: March 17, 2017, 02:23:46 AM
This might be the regular fall in price to get a stability or due to the impact created by ongoing debate in which each gains strength for a short time without a finalized decision. Can be used as the time to profit as price increase could take place depending upon the decision.
4339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we learned from the Bitcoin ETF denial on: March 17, 2017, 02:09:41 AM
It's been clearly portrayed about the need of the systematic review and a central functional regulations and oversight are important for the health of any marketplace and safety of all it's investors. Also indicated it as an temporary one, later on the adoption might change the scenario.
4340  Other / Meta / Re: BitCoinTalk.PW (Bitcointalk Proxy Website) on: March 17, 2017, 01:49:42 AM
When something gets popularity soon the copy version too gets into use. Same is the existence of bitcointalk.pw, even the scam websites have the same name with small changes from the trusted website names. We need to be careful while using those.
