4321  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Roo in the Spotlight" gleam.io giveaway promotion! on: January 31, 2021, 10:42:18 PM
It's about putting Roo in the spotlight as the most important piece and so, I came up with the universal Product Code in my concept. Most products do come with this UPC barcode and it actually contains all the information about a product down to the least detail. So, it would go a long way for Roo to have one too. So I got to work with,

Materials: Pencil, Ruler and Paper
Technic: Hand drawn

Result:
           The process

            The final output

It's always a pleasure to participate in this contest. Congrats to all who came up with a peace. Roobet all the way...!

West Ham has a great form, they won their last 6 matches. They are playing in full concentration.
If Liverpool grab a point today they would be lucky. I don't think West Ham will lose at home.
Lol, even grabbing a point would be Liverpool being lucky, this is surprising! For a team like Liverpool and with the EPL at stake to there greatest rival Manchester city at the top of the league. Liverpool won't even be looking out for a point, they will be after all 3 points in this game. Jurgen Klopp would be at his best to make sure the game isn't lost or drawn, West Ham can only do there best not to be humiliated else, it's going to be messy.

Chelsea Vs Burnley has kicked off already and Thomas Tuchel has got another chance to prove his equal to the tasking EPL and a best choice as Frank Lampard's replacement. Let's see how he does by the way and hope he wins this one.
4323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, will all the order get filled? on: January 31, 2021, 12:00:06 PM
Order not being taken or hit is always a matter of time/period. It's the world placing orders and with the current market price in question. There is no way if your order is within range and an order just might not trigger your stop loss else, it's just a matter of time following the volatility on that which is being traded and the liquidity of the platform being traded on.

So, if you are in a hurry or what your orders hit, you must make sure it's within range and know that it's automated. It's an order up on the system to execute and it will if the counter part of it is placed. Keep experiencing and keep learning.
4324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone who holds 100 doge will become a millionaire in the future but why? on: January 31, 2021, 11:52:40 AM
100 Doge makes you a millionaire in the future you say and earth to become the planet of the poor!!! I'm really surprised at these words and connotation attached to my beloved planet that groomed we all.

I tell you what, as much as man has advanced, we still haven't beat nature in it's least games. Sustainability is the bases of a stable whatever, planet, economy, resources and all that you can imagine. This is what I feel mars is very much going to lack, sustainability! I say this because, it wasn't really built or evolved to support the sort of life we humans headed by Elion Musk has planned for it. Just imagine it!

Project planet Mars has a lot at stake, not just the currency in question but, an individual Elion Musk and those he saddles with authority gets to play god. It's more like being the programmer of a video game. You know all the loopholes and how to manipulate it, like the Lannister Thyreon, he knew just how to penetrate Castery Rock unnoticed. We had and still have the Covid19 situation and we suspect Bill Gate to have master minded the pandemic to reduce world population and he isn't playing god yet. Imagine if we succeed to Mars and have Elion Musk control the constraints for living which he will. How safe would you be because, there surely would be stratification as per status and regions they occupy.
You might be a billionaire on earth and live like you own the world but, you might have same and be donw graded in Mars. It's better you have that which adds to your person on planet earth than Mars. There is always going to be a suffering population everywhere and the rat race would be more in Mars than earth. If you've seen the movie Aeon Flux, you would get the idea.

Doge to me isn't as promising as it seems and even if it seems so, it's not out generation and should you not pass the details to ensure its inherited, the saying 'Not your keys, not your money' would apply and how sure are you it would be used as you have desired. So I say this to you now,,,

4326  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: January 30, 2021, 01:31:08 PM
I took a bet on Manchester city against Sheffield United today. We all can agree that Manchester city has picked up the past thus far. They had longed before now eyed being top of the league which they now seat and won't want to let loose looking at the competitiveness of the EPL now. Sheffield isn't a team to loose to. So, my bet is on the Citizens.

The winning pace for the citizens is gradually setting and they won't want to loose any game with the mid tier teams. There battles will always be with the top teams so, it's going to be a win for them on this one.
4327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Plagiarism check for all on: January 28, 2021, 04:23:21 PM
In my little research I noticed the main type of plagiarism that is common among accounts in the forum.
(I) Direct plagiarism: is the direct transcription without any attribution or contributions to a work not owned by you.
(I)Accidental plagiarism: Accidental plagiarism occurs in a case where a writer fails to cite the sources in which the basis of their work is derived from or the unintentional paraphrases of source by the means of using similar sentences or groups of words.
From where I stand, these two are pretty much the same thing. There isn't any distinctive difference. It's all copy paste works without citation either intentional or not and that's plagiarism.

The very title of the topic attracted me to the fact that I thought the OP decided to go check it out.
That's exactly what I thought and was driven to see and perhaps refer OP to the already existing thread on the matter should it not have been noted.  I guess the title needs to be changed as it doesn't really portray what is found in the content.

Plagiarism is a frowned at act, more serious in this forum and perhaps mid around the world but then, it has a simple way out which is citation. Just dropping a link to the source is all and it saves you a lot of trouble.
4328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how mass adoption looks like. on: January 28, 2021, 04:12:19 PM
Wow! That's quite a way to go and what an elaborate sign post. Should the merchant be successful in managing his or her business, it would go a long way in motivating other business outlets to adopting cryptocurencies as a medium of payment and maybe bring in a few investors to cryptos too. There is no better way to preach cashless policy better than this way and the merchant stands to gain more should accumulated coins rise.
I really hope countries with a stiff regulation on cryptos would see merchants like this and know that crypto isn't the enemy but a new and easy means of transacting.
4329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 28, 2021, 03:58:19 PM
It's a Jose Mourinho Vs Jurgen Klopp match day live and would be the toughest match for the week. Both teams have had there fare share of being top of the EPL table and are now just a point ahead or behind each other. There would be a lot of proving who's boss in this game for the two couches and who wins gets another shot at the league.

After watching yesterday's Chelsea game, I still don't understand either sacking the previous manager Frank Lampard was the best decision. Dominating a game doesn't give you 3 points and that's what Chelsea did yesterday. It doesn't make sense.
4330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 27, 2021, 07:24:03 PM
It's hot hot for Chelsea this evening. Wolverhampton have got no respect for big teams at all. Even with the fact that Chelsea is playing from home, Wolverhampton seems to be holding them down quite well. Only two attempts on target thus far and a goal less game as well. Chelsea is really dominating the game as per possession but then, they need to be scoring goals at the moment. The 3 point in this game is very vital to them and I want them to see that before Wolverhampton will catch them on a counter attack and the game would be lost. 9th on the EPL table and they are still playing this kind of game!!!

4332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread on: January 26, 2021, 06:49:49 PM
On normal scenario, I do expect teams like Watford that got relegated from the EPL to be topping the EFL Championship League but, it often seems they get dumb and more dumb. They've been trying but, I expected more, I really don't like to have having phobia while placing bets on recently relegated teams from the EFL Championship. It almost seems like they need some kind of new strategy upon arrival though but then, it's still Europe.
Anyway, I'm believing Watford for a win on this one, either they are missing a first team player or not but with the Millwall team playing from home, it's not going to be an easy win.
4333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 26, 2021, 06:39:18 PM
The EPL has never been so interesting with lots of drama.
So Manchester city is so close to having there chance of topping the table even for a little, that depends on if they win though because, what i see is a tough game out there. With Kelvin Debryne off the square and West Bromwich Albion having the home advantage, there is a lot of possibilities that might not be on the side of Manchester by in this game.

Arsenal on the other hand are going to have a chance to prove that they can beat Southampton in the EPL after loosing to them in the FA cup. I really hope they do because, I had a bet on them to win and this might just be a compensation for me even without placing a bet on the game.
4334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: January 26, 2021, 06:27:32 PM
Investing for quick gains is very common during the bullrun, it's the time where you find new and old investors taking loans sorely for the purpose of benefiting from the run within a short time frame. This is a very dangerous move for a volatile currency like bitcoin and altcoins. You never can predict so accurately the direction the market would take and as such it's only best you invest and be ready to stay long.
Loaned investment capitals are always the worst as it comes with interest and it's rather bad when your not sure of making profit not to talk of gains on the interest.
4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: See why I think etheruem will be bullish on: January 26, 2021, 06:18:08 PM
In my mind and possibly in the minds of the likes of me, Ethereum is likely to pump due to the recent pump we experienced in the just concluded bullrun. It was more like across all coins but we know better that bitcoin benefited the most. That aside,

The pump set bitcoin at a rather high position and creates in the minds of small investors the sentiment that, bitcoin has gone too far above reach and Ethereum is the next in line as the new bitcoin so, it won't be bad to buy now and hoard it for a long time. With this in the minds of many, Ethereum could experience a major pump.

Coding is really a fantasy when you can do it right. The crypto space have got a lot that can only be avail to those who put it upon themselves to explore the wide range of possibilities and how to get the go going very easily. I doubt I would have learnt anything about encrypting a message and have it read by only those I choose to share my message with without being phished by some unknown organization or the government.

The Athletico bilbao vs Getafe game is a must win for Athletico Bilbao tonight. They lost there last game and again, the statistics is on there side coupled with there history against the Getafe side. So for me, I go with Athletico bilbao.

I hope it plays out this time, let me have a little confidence in my predictions.
4338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you guys think about MOVIE-TV politics?? on: January 25, 2021, 09:33:05 AM
While growing up, we were made to understand that movies could either be fictitious or not or perhaps carry a little bit of fiction about it. This gives film makers a vast area to build their story on. We come to understand that, with the digital age we've attained, a lot of things are learnt through movies and the coverage or patronage received on every movie download is high and as such, film makers just focus on enhancing their content to focus on the market because the market is there main business. Even the rate for movies (PG 13,16,18) don't make meaning no more. They present some of what i still consider abnormalities homosex, bisexuals, transgender and lots of others as though I were to accept it as traits of current civilization and that makes it right. Decorate history movies even before slave trade and pre-colonial era with mixed races just to move market and to present themselves as not being racist. Is that all that is to racism?

It's bad because, we learn the ways of the people before us from some of these movies and still be entertained. Why have it when it doesn't make sense of the production, when it changes a lot about the story, when it re-writes the history? Why have it when it's not a sustainable practice, when it only deepens the wounds on our injured society, when it doesn't tell a better story?
I wonder how it is that a human capable of reproduction with the opposite gender will choose a same sex pattern and when they need kids would look out for options from couples that aren't same sex. Perhaps if that could be stopped, it would ring a bell in the minds of those that find the act appealing.

Movies markers have to look beyond the market and they just might create contents that would beat the stains in the market and in turn, they would arrive.
4339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 25, 2021, 06:18:33 AM
I don't know why most top team coaches in the EPL always look down on the FA cup especially when they are doing good in the EPL. What's wrong should a team win the both trophy? I believe Klopp wasn't more concerned of winning this game against Manchester United, all he wanted was a draw and instead he lost. You don't joke with a team playing from there home except your set on loosing and Manchester United is even more deadly playing from home. Kudos to Manchester United and I hope this will go a long way to boosting the morale in the EPL.
Everton is another team that did great yesterday to have beaten Sheffield Wednesday by 3-0 goals. Chelsea on the other hand still conceived a goal and scored 3 goals to secure there win.
4340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 25, 2021, 05:33:03 AM
Death at the lottery! I feel it comes from the feeling of being liberated from all the sorrows, troubles, tribulations and fears that you don't just believe you escaped them all and it just f**ks you up and your not just liberated from them all but from life. It's really shocking and not what you can wish on anyone who has struggled a lot in life. Sadly, it's only reasonable that you announce the win(s) to the winner else I would have suggested a gradual process in letting the winner come to the acknowledgement of his or her fortune. Dying after a mega lottery win is a sad one indeed because, your win has no business in the land of the dead.  Rest In Peace winners, you guys are truly liberated from the troubles of this world at least, they died as men of wealth.
