4321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 15, 2021, 06:01:20 PM
Only $50k? I also think it can do a lot more than that.
People like to talk about $1 million! Many experts say it can't, but the people who already own it think it can do it.
Investors have been talking about this since Bitcoin hit $20k, and now the $1 million club is getting some real attention.
4322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: January 15, 2021, 05:44:30 PM
To me XRP is a damaged goods, some bag holders do not want to admit this, even if they happen to settle with SEC the damage has been done and the other thing is that the team will not have the legal stand to keep dumping on the market. What baffles me is that out of over 1000 projects in the space some people still feel that XRP is the only one they can make money from.

Most of the XRP investors are institutions, including many large banks and venture capital firms. They bought into a company that has a working product, a market that will be able to use their system. And they don't want to give up so easily. That's why the price of XRP recovered after the initial shock. But, if you are a small investor, you can be the most at risk and suffer a bigger hit if your investments go bad.

You have to feel sorry for Bayern lol; tried everything to win but in the end, out on shootouts; I feel sorry for frieiburg lol; will they be able to contain the Bayernn munich attack just as Gladbach did or will it be the other way round ? We have to wait and see.

Apart from Leon Goretzka's goal, Bayern showed nothing and it was time to stop dragging. I'm not sorry they dropped, they deserved it anyway.

Dortmund and Leverkusen are clear favorites in the dfb cup.

Looks like they are. We'll see how it all plays out to the very end.

4325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you have, which coin you do not have? on: January 14, 2021, 09:18:54 AM
For now there are many coins that we can hold because the value of a coin has improved again, but do not be careless in investing because at the moment there are also coins that only pump for a moment, and we have to choose a coin that already has the potential so that our risk in investing is lighter, and the handle for now ethreum and litecoin is the right choice.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency investment advice ranges from insane to brilliant, with many sources urging investors to put their money in bitcoin, a cryptocurrency with a history of price growth and a whole lot of volatility. But many analysts think there will be multiple winners and losers in the cryptocurrency space, depending on the underlying business model.

Am I going to get banned for being pro-Trump here?

Since we already have a few flatearthers here, I don't think another knucklehead poses any problem.

4327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 13, 2021, 08:56:05 PM
I find it incredibly suspicious that the media did not report most of the growth but as soon as bitcoin went down in value it was all over the place which tells me they are willingly trying to avoid giving bitcoin any positive attention.

Yeah, yeah, that's interesting. I recall the 2017 when all the media was buzzing about it. Now, it's like it's a naturally occurring phenomenon.
Or maybe the media are hoping for an even bigger boom? Which isn't unthinkable...
4328  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 13, 2021, 06:20:58 PM
But, majorly, multiple accounts which are created solely for scamming in signature campaign/bounty hunting, they are given red tag or temporary signature bans as these are against rules!

Unfortunately, this is true, I guess. I don't know exactly how many alt accounts have been busted in 'Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III' (Mk II, Mk I) but I'm sure it's just the tip of the iceberg and new accounts are created every day ready to cheat in campaigns and promotions.
4329  Other / Off-topic / Re: "This is the Way" to the best SF series ever! on: January 13, 2021, 11:17:51 AM
No i didn't... what is about ? Do you have some info ? Some spoilers I like to know Cheesy

I believe he is referring to two Mandalorian spinoffs:
The Book of Boba Fett, the series was introduced in a post-credit scene after the Mandalorian Season 2 finale
and Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson, who had a live-acting debut in chapter 13 of The Mandalorian.

That's right. I saw a teaser in the post-credit scene after the Mandalorian for the Bob Fett series. I didn't know, however, that they were planning Ahsoka's series too.
That's great news, I can't wait.
4330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 13, 2021, 11:11:39 AM
He will surely get reprimanded or at least a fine for violating the leagues Covid rules. And him missing in action is one sign that I would say he is guilty. And the NBA might implement stricter health protocols specially for this high caliber athletes. First it was James Harden and not Kyrie Irving, these guys needs discipline and not think that they are somewhat 'protected'.

According to the NBA rules, the penalty for skipping a game this season due to a breach of the COVID-19 protocols is 1/72th of his salary for each game. This figure is based on the 72-game season. As Irving's salary this season is $33.46 million, that would mean a substantial loss for him.
4331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Price Dives After SEC Files Charges on: January 13, 2021, 10:54:33 AM
The price was still sticking to $0.3 for about weeks from now. Can we think that this remaining value is just a corporate holding shares so that the price will hold or they still have loyal supporters who still hold and believe of the reliability of their platform and hoping that still it has a future?
We can't really tell it as this point, but one thing is for sure, there are still loyal supporters of XRP and will do everything to let the price go above waters as this point, win win situation for them. They can make profits and maybe they can trap more investors to invest. The case is still looming despite who are going to sit as SEC chair.

I bet the price of the XRP at these rates can be sustained by the Ripple Corporation itself. I don't believe there's a large number of small, weak-handed investors who want to get out right now. Most xrp investors are large institutional investors, imho.

4333  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is my former friends bitcoin mine to keep now? on: January 12, 2021, 08:24:37 PM
It's good to know you still realize that the Bitcoin belongs to your friend, just find a way to get it over to him and if he still refuses to, find a way to get accros to a family member and then give it to the family member

But why? He has tried to hand over bitcoins several times already. Why should he insist on that if the other side doesn't want them?
Also, handing it over to his family members does not make too much sense.
4334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 12, 2021, 07:47:56 PM
The institutional money was not going into BitCoin 7 months ago, so I am updating my investing strategy as the reality of BitCoin changes.

You think? All major media reported about the increase of institutional interest in cryptocurrencies more than a year ago. You would want to research more about it first before you make such stupid and baseless assumptions.
Apparently, the news spreads very slowly to the shit hole where you live.
4335  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 12, 2021, 07:28:31 PM
We made a bad hop too far once where Theymos had banned all forum alts, and you would not believe the outrage that resulted. Almost brought these forums to an end before Theymos relented. Had to drop back about five years before finding a timeline where Theymos didn't go insane. We truly are a man out of time. Nothing resembles our former baseline reality.

Get it now?

Yes, I get it now. One chance in more than 14 million (14,000,605 to be precise).

Just tell me one thing, how much was 1 BTC worth in that, not so distant, future?

4336  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: January 12, 2021, 07:20:08 PM
they are a well known scam and have changed a lot of terms just to avoid withdraw from user.
example, they delisted a lot of cryptocurrencies, higher withdraw limit, they stop to pay "interest" and much more.
I am not surprised at all they are not paying even a small amount like ... 20 dogecoin!

Yes, unfortunately, you are right. My withdrawals were never processed. I collected some bitcoin and some more altcoins but all in vain.
I don't know what their strategy was in the first place? What exactly did they hope to achieve from this false promise?

A few days ago DELL introduced the world's first 40'' ultra wide curved monitor with 5K resolution. I think I just found my next monitor! (If bitcon continues to grow, I'll be able to afford a little extravagance.) Grin

4338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: January 10, 2021, 09:49:48 AM
Until now bitcoin is still increasing and it is really risky to invest bitcoin right now because with this current price of bitcoin I'm sure many investors are already gained profit so anytime bitcoin will dump. About the altcoins it seems they are trying to reach the all time high so I must say investing in altcoins is still good they are growing fast now than bitcoin.

These are all pure speculations and you have no basis for such a forecast. How do you think that this is the best bitcoin can do?
All investors have already made a profit at over 20k levels. Why didn't bitcoin dump then? Or at 30k levels?

If you want to invest in altcoins, go ahead. No one is stopping you, but don't spread FUD that bitcoin will dump when you don't have any evidence or analysis behind it.
4339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 10, 2021, 09:42:00 AM
I did not expect that Dortmund dominates Leipzig in that way they did. Really surprising...

Yeah, I've already forgotten that this is how Borussia should play. I was very surprised by Reus and the return of old Sancho. I didn't think he could play like that anymore.
4340  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 10, 2021, 09:34:40 AM
Yet there are some other rules that are almost as difficult to detect and to indisputable confirm. For example, plagiarism and spamming. There are various tools online that help plagiarists and spammers to mask their tracks and I think moderators have their hands full dealing with such reports.

I'm just saying that with existing measures, like activity, merit system and rank-up system, it would be easier to fight evil members if there were clearly defined rules when it comes to multiaccounting. For example, merit abusing and trust abusing, if proven, should be a bannable offense.

Of course, there will always be a way to circumvent all safeguards but not all users are so technically savvy. Most don't even know how to mask their IP address, let alone bypass browser fingerprinting.
