4321  Other / Meta / Re: Just found out I was banned, so was a bunch of other people in my dorm on: October 05, 2014, 02:54:17 PM
Nahh OP doesn't deserve a ban, actually take the time to browse his posting history and you'll see that. From what i've seen in this forum there is much worse, his posts aren't off topic and he doesnt spam so I dont get it. I myself use proxies to brwse this forum at work cos it's blocked there, so IP means nothing.
4322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going down - What Altcoins to buy? on: October 05, 2014, 02:49:18 PM
Waiting new coin, buy and then dump it  Grin

By the time you buy, the miners are already dumping so you are selling at a loss.
4323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: October 05, 2014, 02:41:55 PM
Hi OP, any words on the current XMR downtrend? great time to buy, or is it legit crashing? Personall I love the coin and it's features but you never know what's next with the market.
4324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MOANERO SLUMPS UNDER 1$ - Get out while you can! on: October 05, 2014, 02:28:42 PM
Monero is the only legit coin to hold long term besides Bitcoin because it has a reason to exist, once police state begins and it starts getting hardcore you'll kill for anonimity. You are delusional if any this means anything long term. The only thing I see now is a great time to buy.
4325  Economy / Speculation / Re: You can't have mine on: October 05, 2014, 02:22:19 PM
Why would you "sell on the way up"? That only means you are lossing money because it's going up, so you sell, but it continues going up.
Selling = lossing money unless you are a wizard that knows the future, or lucky.
4326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tomorrow I will buy 100 BTC (+500 before = 600 total) on: October 05, 2014, 02:18:43 PM
These absurd low prices makes made me nervous.  If will buy more on Sunday, aditional 100 BTC between 300-350 $.

Anyone who is selling now is complete IDIOT.

Where do you get all the fiat to be able to spend 100 BTC? Considering it's an extremely risky thing to do right now because we have no idea when will panic seling stop.....
4327  Economy / Speculation / Re: $600, $500, $400, and now $300....... on: October 05, 2014, 02:07:38 PM
Nothing is stopping this sinking ship. Holy Shit it must be the reverse Willy doppelganger.

Im not worried at all because I didn't invest, I mined a bit. But I feel bad for the guys that have been lossing tons of money for what seems months now.
4328  Economy / Economics / Re: Author of the book "The Death of Money" interview. on: October 05, 2014, 01:48:17 PM
Jim Rickards has made several successful predictions over the years. The most recent to come true is China joining the IMF to position the RMB as a reserve currency. I think he is more than 50% correct. He thinks Bitcoin will fail. I disagree with him on that. I'll BM the link and maybe watch it sometime.

What is his argument bitcoin will fail?

He thinks governments will ban it, it's not a store of value, etc. He spews the usual FUD because he wants to promote gold. The same arguments can be made against gold.

Well it was 5 months ago, and Bitcoin has been goind down, so for now he is somewhat winning.
I think tho, that BTC will be a legit place to store value, as long as currency goes, i dont think so. No one really cares to use BTC to buy stuff it seems.
4329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somebody has sent me 0.00000003 BTC on: October 05, 2014, 12:31:46 PM
Someone is spamming obsecene messages, this is getting out of control. Imagine you have kids or you have a business and you are trying to have a profesional and serious image, then your address is spammed all over the place with obscene shit... this is definitely not nice. There should be a way to control this. Didn't Satoshi foresee something like this happening?
4330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why some people say Bitcoin has reached its "maximum exposure" level? on: September 25, 2014, 09:31:16 PM
Isn't this ridiculous? Do an experiment: Go out and ask 10 people if they know what Bitcoin is, then out of these people tell me how many knew what Bitcoin was. Im pretty sure not even 1 will know what Bitcoin is. At least I personally tried it and out of 20 random person, not a single person knew what Bitcoin was! Give me a break with the adoption thing, we are all still early adopters! poor early adopters compared to 2009-2011 early adopters... but still early adopters  Embarrassed
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi post a new tip address? on: September 25, 2014, 09:20:36 PM
I seen this on reddit but can't find his pgp profile, is he actually active?

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2hgpc2/satoshi_nakamoto_new_tip_address/

Maybe someone actually hacked him and changed the address to his own address? ... strange  Huh
4332  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk blocked by the Great Firewall of China! on: September 25, 2014, 06:08:17 PM
In a move no less curious than its previous attempts, China has blocked a popular Bitcoin website from being accessed on its domestic servers – but why?
When you have nearly 2 billion obedient human cattle to herd, you are extremely dependent on manufactured unreality. It's the same in the USA and Russia. Here we discuss reality, here we discuss the future, here we discuss mathematical inevitability.

Nonetheless, the reason for targeting this specific outlet for Bitcoin observers remains a mystery.
Mystery? There is no mystery at all. This sort of behavior is extremely predictable. Our truth is a direct threat to their mass-deception. Of course they don't want their citizens exposed to it! Look, the truth is like a virus infecting their body of lies.
Attempting to silence the truth via desperate quarantine is like an immune system response, totally futile but ultimately unavoidable. This is the last gasp of the nation-state, folks.

The dawn of the information age heralds the end for all nations, because all nations are built on a sandcastle of lies, and the unstoppable tide of information is finally coming in.

"Free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master."

You forgot North Korea, thats like the ultimate manufacturing of reality in history ever. It's fucking ridiculous that they are getting away with that shit in 2014. Poor people may never be able to use BTC, even after global adoption.
4333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Meet Napster’s Fate? on: September 25, 2014, 05:58:18 PM
Well it's a posibility but think about it, something like the blockchain is unparalleled, trust = network effect, age of the blockchain, number of transactions processed... that gives possible buyers trust to put their money there and feel safe. This is unprecedented, so I cant say if this will end up like napster, or myspace, or will go to 0... I think there are bigger chances from something huge like Twitter, to go out of fashion and be replaced by something else, than posibilities bitcoin has to be replaced by something else.
4334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: September 25, 2014, 05:49:58 PM
Lol. Some funny threads in this boardings. Anyway, my reply to this is, i would have a child per satoshi, if i do the babies with adriana lima, then i will gladly achieve 1 150 BTC, one baby at a time.
4335  Other / Off-topic / Re: Marriage Proposal to Satoshi Nakamoto on: September 25, 2014, 05:42:43 PM
1997 called, they want their online marriage joke back.

Jokes on you, there was no internet is 1997.

Yes they're was, Al Gore built that shit in 1947.

I wonder if Satoshi would back his wife's promise to be loyal in the blockchain so she can't be a goldigger because you can't break the blockchain's logic  Grin

4338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some one is sending me BTC 0.00000001 , Why? on: September 25, 2014, 04:39:22 PM

4339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to earn some quick btc on: September 25, 2014, 04:31:40 PM
If you have no money to invest on BTC, then I suggest you to spend more time on this forum. You can make some btc throguh signature campaign.
it seems this is the case from what i've seen, but apparently it takes ages until you can post in the required member level, and all good campaings are closed anyway so...
4340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What percentage of your BTC should be kept in cold storage? on: September 25, 2014, 03:36:14 PM
