4321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guggenheim opens door to bitcoin exposure for $5 billion macro fund! on: November 29, 2020, 08:48:09 PM
Just to be clear, according to the article,

Quote
"The Macro Opportunities Fund may seek investment exposure to bitcoin indirectly through investing up to 10% of its net asset value in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ('GBTC'), a privately offered investment vehicle that invests in bitcoin," the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission read.

Not really sure what indirectly means, though, leastwise, if you look at the companies today, there are a lot of them directly wanted to have bitcoin in their portfolio, so this could be where the money could come if the price will push to 6 digits in the future.

4323  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday ở nước bạn năm nay thế nŕo? on: November 28, 2020, 11:21:24 PM
Not of significant I guess, people tend to save their money because we all know life is hard because of the pandemic so they would rather save money rather than spending it on Black Friday sales and discounts. Although there could be some individuals who are willing to buy things online and around, but we can't blame them though, good to spend money to keep the economy to at least make a start.
4324  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Cause of Price Hike Now in the Market? on: November 28, 2020, 11:01:17 PM
Yeah, just go back to the basic tokenomics of crypto, supply and demand.

We all know as we see another halving this year, supply has it's effect - increasing Bitcoin's scarcity, which based on historical logs is the catalyst for a huge price increase, a bull run months or years after the halving. So we are seeing the start of the bubble again and this will build up and eventually we are going to hit a peak. Just a question and matter of time what will be the top or all time high in this coming bubble.
4325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 28, 2020, 10:39:39 PM
Tyson's power for me is incomparable, though he lost 6 fights during his career the 50 fight he fought have won with 44 knockouts and to be honest, I still watch his career highlights til now. I'm rooting for Tyson in this fight, though this is not really a fight for a belt. We might see an old beast getting back to its old job wrecking people in a single round lol
This is more of an event that a real boxing match. Of course, Tyson will be the sentimental favorite and he can back it up because he might still have that raw power we have seen him during his prime years. Maybe it's not that powerful, but I think he still has some. Plus Jones doesn't have a good chin, and has been knockout in worst fashion specially when he lost his speed and it seems that he age faster than lets say his contemporaries like Bernard Hopkins.
4326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) is again in the news. Will it break its ATH before the Year Ends on: November 28, 2020, 09:49:56 PM
We will have to see after their schedule fork though, XRP is very volatile and we might see holders dumping it as soon as they good their free airdrop token. Specially if the price of XRP is around $1.x or even more during the fork. So I doubt that it will break it's ATH before the end of the year, it's simply on the FOMO stage right now. The real test is after the fork so stay tuned and see how everything will pan out. If it's going to touch or go to a new ATH, its probably next year.
4327  Economy / Reputation / Re: Meriting: suchmoon is a gem of forum on: November 28, 2020, 09:27:36 PM
If you have smerits and not finding enough time to identify merit-able posts then you may follow suchmoon to spend your smerits on right posts.
If other merit sources do as you suggest, we will be all meriting the same users/posts...

Suchmoon does an amazing job and he is the most generous merit source of this forum. But other merit sources must find good posts to merit on their own to spread the merit as most as possible.
Or merit sources or even members who want to spend their merits for quality post can simply check this thread, [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source.
4328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 27, 2020, 11:28:50 PM
Mavericks' J.J. Barea: Back with Mavs.

Quote
Barea signed a one-year, $2.6 million guaranteed contract with the Mavericks on Friday,

He did contribute very well during his stint with Mavs, and since he is back, I'm sure he can come out from the bench and could spark some rally specially if he still have that magic touch in 3's (which I think he does at his age).
4329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Bitcoin Correction on: November 27, 2020, 10:53:58 PM
It's imminent that sooner or later the market will have to experienced a pullback. From $10k-$19,500 in just two months? it's obviously on the bubble so it's about time that a correction should happened and it did. Also there is this rumour that the Trump administration will go and "attempt to track owners of self-hosted cryptocurrency wallets", scary news that might have negative connotations to majority specially panic selling from newbies.

As far as buying it right now, yeah, why not, if you have some funds sitting around. As I'm one of those that a new all time high is also forthcoming next year and not this year. That's why it is important to fill your bags at this price as we might see $30k or up the whole of 2021's bull run.

4331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going to go to 0 on: November 27, 2020, 09:44:36 PM
^^ Thanks for reminding about the fear and greed index,  Smiley

Right, it is still very high though, 86% people are still in the FOMO phase.

Obviously, the OP is a bull, which means he is saying the opposite here. But I don't think or believed in jinx, it just so happened that we didn't reach $20k, for obviously reasons, i.e the market is in the overbought zone, people taking profits $19,500. etc. But we're not done yet for this year.
4332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: November 27, 2020, 09:22:24 PM
Bitcoin price always changable no one can predicted it correctl.Today i chack the bitcoin price so what's happen end of this year? Please share your experience
No one has the crystal ball to see what will be the price at the end of the year. For pure speculation, I would say $18k is not bad right? How about a new all time high in December?

My point is the price can fluctuate at any range, others may tell you to buy the dip, but there could be someone to advise you to wait because the price will still go down. So it's really up to you to decide.
4333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 26, 2020, 09:37:20 PM
Another rookie max contract, Bam Adebayo’s five-year, $163M contract extension with Miami Heat.

And it could push to $195 million if he meets certain criteria like making an All-NBA team. He is the third player, behind Mitchell and Tatum his fellow 2017 draftee to have reached a max contract extension.

Your thoughts? Yay or Nay?
4334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 26, 2020, 03:12:25 PM
Is this one an interesting news?

Pistons Called Wizards To Discuss Blake Griffin For John Wall Trade

I think Blake does not fit with Pistons, the best seasons for Griffin was when he was still with the Clippers, I hope to see him back in a good team again.
If he will get traded to Wizards, what are the chances of this team in the playoffs?
He did try his best with the Pistons, even added new arsenal to his game with his three pointers. However, the team is really in poor shape and it seems that Blake thrives on a team with a good point guard like CP3.

If he gets to Wizards and with no good supporting cast, I doubt that they will be able to go to the playoffs. A lot of team has vastly improved for the next season, if Wizard can't compliment Blake with another good A-player then it will be difficult for them to reach at least the 8th seed in a very competitive Eastern Conference.

4336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now in deep now what future traders need to follow? on: November 26, 2020, 02:29:31 PM
Now in this topic i want expert suggestion that lots of new people like me we are doing future trading. Now i noticed that market condition is soo much dangerous. Now what can we do so that we can't in loss plus we need your suggestion so that in future we can handle that type of situation easily.
Now what you want to suggest us?
Lol, we've just seen some shake out in the market right now, but nothing to be worry though, we are not in dangerous waters. Suggestions? just keep it calm dude, just remember that bitcoin is hovering in the $3k range around March, during the pandemic, and now we are $16k-$17k. So what more can you ask for in the market?

I'm sure everyone is looking for $20k or new all-time-high, unfortunately, we need to wait and give more time for the market to mature.

4339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: November 24, 2020, 11:02:18 PM
It almost did right? reaching as high as $ 0.92 until it experience a massive sell-off. Even Coinbase went down (again!) because of the spike in XRP trading activities. So I would say that it's possible that it can hit $1.00 this year. Similar to bitcoin hitting $20k as well.

Of course this is fuel by the XRP Utility Fork Incoming – Here’s How to Prepare for the Highly Anticipated Flare Airdrop. But the question is what will happen to the price after the fork?
4340  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake Paypal CEO Giveaway on: November 24, 2020, 10:20:45 PM
I have reported them here: [WARNING]: Fake Paypal Giveaway.

As others have said, they are ramping up their activities in social media to scam just because Paypal have join the bandwagon.

And that channel is obviously hack, criminals are targeting youtube channels with a lot of subscribers and then they will stream this so called giveaways.
