4321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 20, 2020, 09:48:19 AM
Nets will have a good benefit once they deal with the 2 on the trading market.
As it goes longer it will also change their market value, if Nets aren't interested with the two, it would be stupid for the other team to get them if they can't help the team based on their expectation. Who would like Irving that can't complete a season and this season, he hasn't played much too, and Durant is still uncertain if he will be back to his old self since the injury was really serious.

Refer to my other post after that. I said that Nets might consider trading those 2 if they will continue to be injured. No teams will show interest to them? How sure you are? If Nets decided to trade them, lets say next season or two, for sure there are teams that will acquire them. Durant and Kyrie for low price? Why not? Didn't you know that Nets can work on buyout or waived these players.
As I was saying, if the reason why these players are traded is because they are easily injured, I don't think other teams will accept them.
Instead of being an asset, they'll become a liability of the team, and even if they are stars now, that doesn't mean they will still be the same players in the future especially when injury is the problem.

If you know Greg Oden, he was a 1st overall pick back in 2007 for the Blazers, played an impressive games before he was injured but after the injury, he wasn't back to his normal, so he become a wasted talent, and no team signs him with a good price if I am not mistaken.

Its just their first year with the Nets. Why so advanced? The main point here is the Nets decision to take the risks and someone said they will regret in the future which I think not. Thats why I said, Nets are already aware of the risks so they gambled for it without regret. If they are not ready for these why they signed Durant while on the bed with a serious injury, why they signed Kyrie even these guy was out the almost the whole season in his 1st year with the Celtics and not effective when he came back the 2nd year. Its a max contract and that contract value can't just be offered without consideration.

Anyway these are only IF. Like most NBA fans want to see, I hope Nets comeback next year in a full healthy lineup with Durant and Irving leading the team.

It's better to talk about the future than the past, it's more relevant here in the discussion.
I am advance because I am just sharing my opinion on what could possibly happen to these two players that Nets paid for a max contract.

If you were able to understand everything I posted,.. I was using the word "IF", meaning it's just a possibility.

I really thought it was just the knee injury that came from colliding with Bradley Beal.

https://www.nba.com/article/2020/02/01/kyrie-irving-leaves-sprained-right-knee

This shoulder injury of him is really killing the entertainment of watching Brooklyn.
Last time he made 50 points and I really enjoyed that. Which I also thought is the clue that he is already fine and healthy.
He could stay that long playing the game without any sign of pain.
Now this.
They still have some good role players though. They will need to hold that line on the 7th spot. Wizards is not that far away with just 5 wins differential.

This article below is dated MARCH 12, 2013, but it still says about his injury.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1563024-is-kyrie-already-irving-injury-prone-or-does-he-just-have-bad-luck

I don't really follow the injury updates of Irving all the time but as an avid fan of the sport, I notice that he is not available most of the time, although we can say that the injury is not that serious since he can still come back and play and produce good numbers, but its really annoying to miss one of the best players in NBA not getting the opportunity to carry his team.

4324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 19, 2020, 11:41:49 PM
I'm definitely putting my money on the Wilder knockout for now.

Apparently he broke his hand before the first fight, and still almost knocked Fury out. With a fully functional hand, he should put him to sleep this time.

I don't know about this, but it looks like he was not injured during the fight, what I am seeing is that Wilder can't hit Fury because Fury had a decent good movement in boxing that he can doge Wilder's punch easily, actually it was Fury who is scoring pretty well in that fight and I can't believe it ended up a draw.
4325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 19, 2020, 11:25:14 PM
Sixers handicap with -7.5 @ 1.78 is very enticing..

They are likely to win here by 10 points since Brooklyn although winning their last two games are still very inconsistent but Sixers are very consistent at home. Why take -7.5, wen you can take -9.5 with a better odds?
4326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: February 19, 2020, 10:54:04 PM
every day have new IEO and ICO coin waiting for investor and advertiser.
ICO... take that was nobody is investing in ICO anymore,.. tell me what are the successful ICO this year so far and if bounty hunters really make money from it? IEO, maybe there's a chance but as long as the market is not yet fully bullish, we can't expect from it.
4327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't surge past 11k, your thoughts... on: February 19, 2020, 07:54:42 AM
My thoughts is that bitcoin will not succeed as a currency, and be accepted by merchants worldwide,
It has already succeeded because it's already accepted in some countries, and other countries already have a regulation on crypto.

while the whales have freedom to steal money from the small traders. As simple as that.
You are wrong with what you believe, the game here is based on the supply and demand and it so happen whales have big supply in their hands so they'll take advantage on their position, there is no stealing on that because they haven't violated any law.

You just have to accept the reality and you'll be okay.
4328  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: February 19, 2020, 07:25:39 AM
If they can perfect the system using the blockchain for election then I would say this is the best method to be use in election.
Everyone of us just want to see real transparency as we all know that blockchain are transparent, so I'd go with this as long as it's carefully studied to protect the real result of the voting.

I have not enough technical knowledge on blockchain but I think blockchain are suppose to be transparent so it's a better system compared to the system a certain company created which are centralized and controlled by them, it's like a business of trust but blockchain is more transparent, so which one we should choose.
4329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 19, 2020, 06:48:54 AM
Sportsbet changed their UI and I am loving it.
I dont need to click the team playing to see the regular bet without handicap. This is cool.

Yeah, I also like it, I just check it now and I think it's easier to check now compared to the past, and this is quite faster as well.
Great improvement to the site.

What!? x8 for Detroit against the Bucks?  Shocked

It's just similar to saying that Detroit has no chance of winning in this game. I like high odds to but I'll not gonna throw my money on DET.
4330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 19, 2020, 04:34:08 AM
Thanks for reminding us but I am sure a lot of us have already learn in our past experience.
Maybe the newbies now are so happy with the price pump but for us, we are not so excited anymore as we have seen this many times in the past.

Let's just relax and do the right thing at the right time, sell when there's a profit and hold when price is still not reach.
Pretty simple, let our experience help us to decide and don't get fooled by our emotion anymore.
4331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 19, 2020, 03:35:12 AM
The All-Star trophy was named now after Kobe is already a big honor and we can see his name at this award every year. I think lots of honors will be made in the future to honor Bryant including building a statue for him.
I wasn't aware of this actually, I just heard it during the announcement of all star MVP but I was thinking it was only for that specific event, well, great job by the NBA organization.
4332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2020, 11:54:54 PM
They strongly focusing to grow their another project function X platform. So many NPXS long term holder now will go in fx coin.
The price itself says a lot, from 200 sats now down to 2 sats, who would not be upset with that? that's like holding 2% of its ATH value only, which for typical investors would think this project is already dying or has died already.
4333  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC restoring faith in bull run. on: February 18, 2020, 11:43:32 PM
It seems like a new hype will again start, bitcoin back to $10,000 now after days of downtrend, this is a good price trend so far and I was right that we should not panic when we see some as clearly that's only a correction.

Overtime, we will achieve a new ATH but let's talk first about the possibilities this year, from $10,000 now, I think when it pump a bit, it could break the higher resistance and we bitcoin will soon be standing firm in $11,000.
4334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 18, 2020, 10:50:03 PM
It do exist just like into other sport. Business as usual i shall say.
You nailed it right, this is just pure business though that's why the fight is so exciting because they know how to hype us based on what we like, and here's the thing that I believe, any competition that there's a human judges can easily be corrupted even in the beauty contest, so it's no different, more on this since there's a lot of money at stake.
4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: February 18, 2020, 10:32:52 PM
Depend on how many ICO success will be the future with bounty campaign, today we get many ICO hard to be success although for listing on market only because they get less earning with coin sell very little and have pause ICO selling and bounty campaign stopped without get payment and reward.
Therefore don't depend on ICO and it's less likely that ICO will become successful again.
After the popularity of that crowdsale platform, I expect the new one will be popular which is the IEO, so since this will guarantee a listing after the sale, the demand of the bounty would be lower and its reward as well, so the future may not be as good as what we all witnessed in 2017 bull run, and beyond.
4336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 17, 2020, 11:26:18 PM
Most people make the mistake of buying this kind of coin during their rapid growth, which subsequently leads only to loss.
That would be the obvious result if they don't know how to sell at the right timing, for experience traders they make money on that but fore typical traders they lose that is why it's not advisable to do day trade if you are not equip with full knowledge.

buying at dip and selling at peak is still the most basic yet a very effective way of investing.
4337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: February 17, 2020, 11:19:15 PM
Now it is impossible to say that there are bulls in the market, and also it is impossible to say that there is a bull's trap in the market now, while the market is preparing for growth.
There’s no assurance and the trend can be change easily so its better to focus on your personal goal rather than focusing on the stress in the market. It can be a bull trap again since we dumped again but hopefully its correction and this dump will be a good correction for a better future, let’s aim for a bull run and not for the bull trap.

Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. If there's a bull trap, it means the current rally won't last. And a lot of people will get hurt during the correction.

people which are bullish will be hurt no matter if they are just investing for long term, of course everyone who are at the same side would love to see a bullish price but experience will tell us that it does not happen all the time, there is no parabolic increase that would last forever, it needs to be corrected and to make it positive, we need to think of correction than a dump.
4338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 17, 2020, 11:06:29 PM
Me too, I didn't expected that he became the MVP. Well, maybe that's really a kind of player he is — silent and not as charismatic as the others but if you will look the scorecards in the end, you will get shocked that he really contributed great numbers Grin lol.
What matters is what a player will produce in the end and Leonard were able to produce more compared to its teammates.
Leonard is almost a complete player in terms of MVP award, he only now lacks winning a regular season MVP which is unlikely to happen IMO due to his style.

4340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't surge past 11k, your thoughts... on: February 14, 2020, 06:59:58 AM
Here I will share a link where it clearly shows that BTC won't go beyond 11k. Guys kindly share your thoughts.

Didn't opened the link, from this statement alone I can tell you and that link to the article are all bullshit.
Please mention someone who can predict the price 100%.
There's no clear predictions, all of them are mere wild guessing that doesn't happen 99%.
That kind of mentality shouldn't be here in the first place, you're just wasting the opportunity.

Actually we cannot eliminate people with bearish minds as they are also correct when the market is bearish and wrong when the market is bullish.
What we are seeing now is that people have freedom to write what they want and they don't expect that everyone would agree just like us, we can't please everyone so some would also disagree with us.

you know what, only the market can tell us, if it will past $11k then that article is wrong, and its writer.
