Or just deal here on forum, build trust, and then move on to Telegram/Discord once the trust is built.

This thread needs to be stickied too.

I think that is probably the safest route.

Agreed on the pin — mods must be busy as I haven’t been able to get their attention.

Did you post this in Meta? If not, that’s what you need to do.

I see some Mr Robots in this discussion who can also play their game ..go get em lol
I also stated on page one this should be pinned in hardware section too, possibly digital goods.

I posted about this in a similarly related thread in Meta. Asked Hilarious if he thinks it should be pinned. Maybe needs its own post though as mods may not see it.

Thanks all , they are both some of my favs but will be put to good use to bring something unique here that I’ve been putting off far too long. Cheers.

Oooh already sounds interesting!  Shocked  Can't wait for more info! Grin

Awesome coin. I had a MS70 dime I auctioned off a year or two ago. BAD idea... #bitcoinregrets Tongue

It’s going to be one of those things people didn’t realize was possible..little teaser for ya Smiley

Yeah I do not want to sell this, but I’ve been planning this coin for 3 years now and it’s go time. Stay tuned !

Those rare pieces will go for double the load. If you get it for less, consider yourself lucky.

Agreed. Is the only “affordable” Cas coin now and for some time to come.

Great coins there.  I have no idea what the current premium is on either to make an offer.  Especially the 0.1.  I know if used to get a good premium, but with BTC at ATH, not sure what that is exactly.

They have been very high since it’s the only affordable Cas coin now.  .2-3 is what I’ve seen of late.

I don’t believe this has been brought up in Meta at all yet, and is vital for all especially noobs to be aware of - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5322537.0
(Edit - sorry Loyce if I’m a bit off topic here..felt it kinda fit in to the theme)

@hilarious - maybe this is a 📌 candidate?
4325  Economy / Reputation / Re: Almost one year disappeared from the forum, what am I left and lost? on: March 14, 2021, 10:14:59 AM
Only a year has passed, and no one remembers the TMAN. What a pity.

Maybe you're right, but it's not what I mean  Cheesy TMAN has been missing since I was active on this forum. I've been wondering about it many times, there are a lot of posts asking about him, but there is still no exact answer, remember?

And if I remember correctly, you are the one who creates conflicts between you and DT members  Cheesy  Cheesy Cheesy But that is the past, I don't know what your friends will be like  Roll Eyes You are better and more funny, right?

Wishing you the best in your road to recovery. I’ve had major back issues since I was 14 and have been in and out of physical therapy many times. So I feel your pain on some level. Glad you’re still here though (Had an uncle who wasn’t so lucky on his bike  ).

Some good news for ya ..I was greeted the other day by a certain someone who started our. convo by saying to me something like  “hey you filthy cunt”, or some version of that. I know you’ll never figure out who it was  Cheesy

4329  Economy / Games and rounds / Play (gauging interest)- 2021 NCAA Mens Basketball March Madness Pool on: March 11, 2021, 05:48:17 PM
Hello all.  I am considering opening an NCAA March Madness Pool and wanting to gauge interest.  The Tourney starts next Thursday, March 18th. I am thinking about doing something like a $25 ( in bitcoin ) buy in. I am open to suggestions however.

Here is some info about how it works.  Now there is some skill involved, but most often people who have no idea about college basketball end up winning these things  Cheesy .. so don't be intimidated if you don't know much or anything at all about college basketball.  https://www.runyourpool.com/ncaa-bracket-pool.cfm

Here's what the bracket looks like for reference.. If you're interested ..let me know!

BTW, I received the Coinvest coins, or also known as the Niue coin. Have to say I was not familiar with Country of Niue. Had to look it up on a map and it is, as we would say in the USA South, in the 'Boonies'; it's out there. Would like to visit though, very tropical. If I do ever go, I will not spend my Coinvest coin there even though it would be accepted as legal tender.

Steeley

Niue is notorious for contracting out their “rights” to allow coin makers to make coins that are legal tender. Cook Islands is another one that does this a lot. So there are now at least 4-5 bitcoin coins that are legal tender out there..maybe even more at this point.

Still looking for one of these if anyone wants to sell one ..or if anyone wants to do a small group buy with me please shoot me a message.
4333  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [CHARITY AUCTION] Kialara Hydra + Cypher Stamp #19 on: March 08, 2021, 06:37:59 PM
Someone messaged me on Telegram claiming I won the auction. I'm pretty sure I just got scammed. They asked me to pick an escrow. I picked SatsLife. I think what happened is they quickly created a fake account and I was too stupid to realize this. I sent the money to the "escrow". Then the accounts all disappeared from Telegram. I'm shaking right now because I fell for such an obvious scam.

Really sorry to hear this. Unfortunately this place is absolutely crawling with scumbag scammers and you’ve got to really be vigilant. When you’re new here it’s easy to make mistakes, so don’t take it too hard on yourself. We live and learn. & to the scammer..you’ll get yours you pos. Karma is a bitch.
4334  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB- Chinese Digital Yuan Card on: March 08, 2021, 05:26:32 PM
Isn’t this just a Chinese Yuan debit card? Don’t you need a Chinese bank account to load it or am I mistaken.

I’m not looking to use it, I simply want it as a collectible.

4335  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Antana Coins (regulations, try me & thank you casascius) on: March 08, 2021, 04:33:29 PM
Unfortunately there have been many fakes of these coins, I have several myself.  I am not sure there is any way to tell a fake from an authentic.  Maybe someone else here can chime in?

FYI..that article you linked is very old, so any pricing it lists out would not be accurate. These are cool coins as they have some nice history to them, but not knowing whether they are real or fake plus just the fact that they are not heavily demanded would make your current cost quite high.  Just some friendly FYI's I thought I'd share.

But a very small commission for such a large queue.
Rather, it will be deleted on time.

4338  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Value of peeled Casascius V2 coins? on: March 06, 2021, 04:47:40 PM
I have 4 peeled V2 Casascius brass 1BTC.
They're all in various states of condition, curious what the average price might be for these, should I auction/sell as a job-lot and is eBay a good option?
Thank you

Peeled Casascius coins tend to vary in value quite a bit. Not only for what type of Casascius coin it is, but often depending on the current  “market temperature”.  Rising bitcoin prices, new collectors entering the market during bull runs etc tend to cause an upswing in value.  Their value also depends on if you still have a hologram with/on the coin and how good of shape it is in ( as well as how good of shape the coin is in, of course).  For example, these coins you have tend to sell anywhere from $40-200 without a hologram and with it you tend to see $150 and up. So like many collectibles the market is always changing.

As to where to sell it? I think you will get a fairly similar return selling it here or ebay.  No selling fees here however.
