4341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you sure that bitcoin will fall? on: December 15, 2017, 12:50:30 PM
I really don't think that bitcoin will fall right now because bitcoin is now pumping hard and bitcoin's new support is at 10k USD. It means that it'll hardly fall beyond that line.

I do not think that bitcoin is coming back to $10,000 mark anytime soon. It has gone beyond that even with the speculated deep that is expected.
4342  Economy / Economics / Re: question on long term prices on: December 14, 2017, 10:15:29 PM
Hi, I am new to all this, but help me understand this. If there is a crypto coin that is very useful and has functional value, not just speculative, say it becomes very expensive. What is to stop someone from just creating their own coin that is the almost identical to it, and using it instead, so high prices are not paid for the other coin? How can all these coins maintain high values, when people can just create as many new coins as they want?

Cloning a coin or branding your own coin entirely is not the issue rather is about your market that you have, marketing strategy and your team. Team is important if your white paper is good. Good luck.
4343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Empire Strikes Back" on: December 14, 2017, 04:12:27 PM
Crypto currencies represent a great danger for the banking system.
What steps will bankers take to protect their business?

1) Futures way to keep money from investing in the crypto market.
2) ...?

The way forward for the bankers is to key in into the new era of technology and blockchain technology by accommodating this new era.

We really can't predict the future. Only thing we can do, is to have a contingency plan ready in case the events go against us. Track the events closely to have some idea about the future but can't really predict anything for sure.
[/quote]

The future that we can't predict and the contingency plan for the future for incase the events go against us is to build an empire with altcoins and the time is now.
4344  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Legal Issues on: December 14, 2017, 01:19:45 PM
We will have precedents set in different countries.
If governments don't legislate, the courts will express their views when Bitcoin is mentioned in cases.

It is only the legislature of a country that makes laws and in that case , the courts can only interpret what the intent of the law is. Precedent can only follow when a certain instance has happened before which is law and interpreted by the court.

Thus, if bitcoin has been legislated upon, then precedent can follow vice versa.
4345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries? on: December 13, 2017, 09:38:22 PM
Bitcoin is legal by some countries but some countries still not accepting the bitcoin.
What you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries?

It will have an overtaking of the fiat and so much transactions would be done through bitcoin because of its known advantages already.

I think bitcoin will not be legal to all countries

This is an obvious fact because bitcoin is not going to be controlled by just one jurisdiction or country. At most, countries might be factionalised about it and that won't also work.
4346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sending fees... are you serious? on: December 13, 2017, 07:31:57 PM
I haven't sent btc in a while.  Back when i sent btc, fees were less than 50 cents.  Maybe 3 dollars?  I went and tried to send less than 30 dollars of btc... fees show up as 12 dollars on electrum and thats with the lowest possible fee where i make it send within 25 blocks.  Now if you want to send under 1 dollar, it cost 12 dollars.  When is this issue getting fixed?  Who in their right mind would send btc for small amounts when even the fee is that much?  Its like paying 12 dollars for something you want to buy that is 1 dollar?

The fees are actually up in the roof and that actually made me suspend the little transfer I wanted to transact three days ago so I could accumulate it more because is still going to take same deduction when accumulated. Is fees are actually stalling some transactions.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Signatures/campaign on: December 13, 2017, 03:14:10 PM
Yes you're right How to find a bounty is legit or not, recently i joined a bounty with signature and found it is worthless for me. any recommendation for how to find best bounties ?

Really some bounty campaigns turn out to be a waste of time especially when the managers are inexperienced, the developers might make him promises that can't be fulfilled. Well, with my little experience here so far, I realise that campaigns you join through the services section are reliable and the managers are highly ranked, though few can still disappoint.
4348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if bitcoin miners stop? on: December 13, 2017, 12:57:49 PM
I heard that bitcoin is controlled by we users and miners,
so I wonder what would happen if all the bitcoin miners stop mining bitcoin?.

I'm curious to know what would happen to bitcoin. Undecided

The scenario is that, that would breed confusion and chaos in the whole of crypto market because all altcoin would be affected, no transfer and no receiving. For instance, mere network problem  or network jamb due to too much transactions causes problems and restiveness, not to talk of total shut down of minning.

I mean, is more like a difficult scenario to envisage.
4349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin surpassed Bitcoin at this moment on: December 12, 2017, 04:45:23 PM
Litecoin at this moment is the greatest criptocoin.

I still don't think that investors are giving up on bitcoin despite the congestion in network, many still wait to transact. The reason is because people see and believe that bitcoin would not be dragged down just without a fight to allow them to dump whatever fraction of bitcoin they have. Bitcoin at $17,400 isn't a joke. Etheruem equally gave a fight today, and cryptos are pushing in the money. Grin
4350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Forks really good for BTC ? on: December 12, 2017, 08:30:35 AM
I think forking bitcoin is duplication and it can be confusing either now or in the future; that is, taking about the name bitcoin but on the contrary as to the effects, I think it has made bitcoin relevant more and profiting because ever since forking, bitcoin has been going bullish.
4351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin rising so high? on: December 11, 2017, 08:05:38 PM
The rise is because of its demand and it off course has a lower supply. Bitcoin is also used for virtually every crypto transactions, so it is needed by many investors. These are few reasons it might continue raising.
4352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ICOS is good or bad ? on: December 11, 2017, 07:16:39 PM
I don't really think research on the team pioneering the ico works sometimes because at the long run, you would see some nice team doing badly or shrouded in fraud.

What I really think is to go with a coin that has been listed or that has been tasted - might still be within the range of $1 or plus $1.
4353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: December 11, 2017, 04:18:36 PM
there are a lot of coins that has a very potential future . But my best picks among them are Ripple  (XRP) , Power Ledger (POWR) , Paypie (PPP) and NXT coin . I am very much optimistic that these coins will hit 10$+ in next year . You can buy these coins .

I'm equally looking at these coins you mentioned but what about glasscoin. I seem to be considering it first choice. I hope my choice will be good in 1 year time for me.
4354  Economy / Economics / Re: The different types of bubbles. on: December 11, 2017, 01:34:48 PM
The only factor that created this year bitcoin bubble is CME approval and the bitcoin futures trading announcement. It`s ridiculous how a part of the worlds financial industry helps for growing the bitcoin bubble, and the other part of the financial industry is full of haters spreading FUD.
I see aritcles and news about bitcoin being the currency "of the stupid millenials ,who will loose their savings".
The anti-bitcoin hate is all over the place.

The early adopters who didt see the future of bitcoin and sold off at a price they are regretting if they had held on till even when it was $8,000 at least are the heaters.

Whatever bubble has no business with bitcoin especially when you look at bitcoin supply and quantify it with other altcoin.
4355  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia’s Central Bank is Planning to Ban Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 11, 2017, 06:44:39 AM
I'm taking that as an aspect of news that will soon drive the bitcoin market some time next year either to bullish or dipping, and or, it might not make any negative impact to the movement of bitcoin. Indonesia should take a leap from China who has been trying to come back to there hold on icos etc.
4356  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Senate Bill S.1241 to prohibit the hiding of Cryptocurrency Ownership on: December 10, 2017, 09:24:28 PM
For those who don't know, about news about Senate Bill S.1241 is going around. You can read the bill on here: https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/1241/text, basically (if passed) it would become illegal to hide (or attempt to hide) ownership of digital currencies.

What exactly "attempting to hide" a cryptocurrency would be interpreted as I do not know, just thought I'd get the news out.

If the bill reads that it will be illegal to hide ownership of cryptocurrency , it means it will be a crime not to declare it as an access or property. Then, that bill is tilting towards taxing on bitcoin or cryptos when passed to law
4357  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns on: December 08, 2017, 04:25:48 PM
try altcoins it’s hard to find one for Jrmember and accept BTC(ask me i try).

or do like me and wait to be full member

If you are really desirous to find a campaign at your level you will,  only that it is limited and selective according to post quality and other things that only the managers can say. Wishing you Good Luck.
4358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 08, 2017, 03:52:10 PM
I don't think they are scam, their white paper looks pretty good, the team looks good, the product is on Android now, IOS is being reviewed by Apple (Richard said after ICO it should be up & running)

I just hope they are back to there feat. Wish them and myself a very big luck Grin
There white paper is good though but as soon as investors started buying in, they had a system crash. I believe is a good buy, waiting for my investment to get me some good reward.
4359  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: December 08, 2017, 03:18:01 PM
Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!

The price correction is waited and has been long overdue. People are waiting for it outside while the coin is not relenting on its bullish movement. It is really confusing sort of, how the price keep trippling within a short time.

everybody who sold at 11k will bang their heads on the table.
It makes at the moment no sense to sell.
And do not come with "sell high and buy low" where is high and where is low? Nobody knows. IF this would be that easy why we r not all be billionaires already?
The bitcoin market is on a crazy ride and the speculation has taken the price to new levels and yesterday was a really crazy ride as the price raised over three thousand dollars in a day and all of the different markets were having different rates which was really crazy and those who sold at profit does not need to bang their head,i am not sure how long these rally continues, selling at profits is still a good proposal.
Yes in just 5 days $5k variation in bitcoin price this is really crazy movement in bitcoin. And this will make tempt those who came recently to this bitcoin world. i think people are now confused what to do and what not to do if they sell and the price cross $20k definitely they fell sad and if they keep the price comes down here also they feel sad.

I agree with your because so many investore are in dilemma on what to do, either to sell at this moment or keep holding. I mean, it is baffling how the price keep rising. Only 24 hours from yesterday, bitcoin price has increased to additional $3,000 from $13,000 which is making it sell at sixteen thousand dollars plus - the margin from yesterday is unbelievable  Grin
4360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 08, 2017, 03:10:01 PM
i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

Etheruem has bright future for next year really but diversification is always better incase our expectations do not come to pass. If you have more money, you can look at litecoin too or you sell some fractions of your etheruem to buy bitcoin.  Litecoin has good prospects too for next year.
