You think as I do. Perhaps that statement surprises you. Theymos apparently has paid 200k for forum software. I wouldn't have asked if I had not heard of that. Go to this thread to find out more : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=983572.0sdp ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Theymos will pay 1,500,000 $ for a new forum software? That sounds like he uses the best coders around that charge the highest prices. Guess that happens if you collect donations that are bound by purpose and you only can use it for this one purpose. But thats a very special situation then. He has too much money and needs to find a way to spend it. Needing that money is a far way different thing.

When i take a swap then it seems i dont have more money. For example i send $100 to trading (since it seems i only can take swaps with money that is there) and then i take a swap, then i only have this swap and a bit less than $100. I dont have the actual money anywhere.
So taking a swap doesnt give you actually the USD you loaned? Its only possible to use them for margin trading? If so then it would be a bit confusing. Giving loans you need actual real money, but taking loans only gives you something virtual.

Um... only because you believe that nobody will do that doesnt mean that youre right. In fact purse.io is doing it since a longer time already and they collected, i believe, 400K USD in seed funds. Check out the support thread on bitcointalk about it. You can get 50% discounts. I did. Unfortunately they become more and more restrictive. Didnt allow buying of amazon coupons anymore, then stopped external products in wishlists and now a whole country is blocked. I wonder if they fix their things.

You think you will collect 200K USD? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) That will never work. It will already stop where you want to sell someone a forum software for 2K. There are way enough free softwares out there and many are for free. Paying 2K is something way to specialized to get 100 customers for it. Maybe i misinterprete you but that wont work.

I'm having some trouble with my bitcoin wisdom, how can I fix this? I'm using Chrome v41
My "Gestalt" says your browser is infected, so run a virus scanner. But my "Gestalt" usually gets kicked around a lot, so it's not all that trustworthy. Shit! See, I did it again! If you find a virus or something and clean it and that fixes it, can you let me know so my "Gestalt" can feel better? Thanks! Im not sure you use that german word correctly. It mostly means a person you can only vaguely recognize as one. Though what you write about it sounds a bit strange... ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) The word has been adopted by English to mean perception that is greater than the sum of its parts, according to Google. I use it to mean a conclusion that I got to without thinking - a kind of holistic impression. Thanks for motivating me to research it! Ah ok, thanks for clearing this...

I like cryptotrader, you can get pretty decent ROI on your investment.
Only with a good bot code. Did you write one for yourself or did you buy one? If the latter, which bot, if the first, what indicators are you looking for. I test out tradewave though im still on the coding part. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

What happens when one offers a swap and its taken, then the loan is paid back earlier than the said timeframe... will the swap still run as if that didnt happen so that i dont notice that or would i need to offer those coins as a swap again? The latter, that's why bots/autorenew/notifications come in handy. By the way... whats the story with swaps offered for half of the normal orderbook rate?
Probably people with autorenew at fixed rates who are on holiday or so? It is up to every actor to choose how much return they actually want and also how much they are willing to pay... If you only want to earn 3%/year, you can do that too, even though it might be smarter to check first if someone offers to pay you more. Thanks sukrim. I noticed that bitfinex now only has one decimal anymore on orderbook. Does that mean that further decimals are rounded completely or that they are shown rounded only? Wondering if a offer at a certain price will be eaten or if other bidders could use a slightly different decimal in order to get before my offer, without me seeing it. There is a +/- located above the order book where you can zoom in/out ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Never even got the idea that could be something clickable and useful. Thanks!

Is there a wallet with automatically mixing coins in order to not connect your own addresses in your wallet? Its a bit offtopic but seeing gmaxwell writing here... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) At the moment i do it manually through exchanges. Though thats time intensive. And the way mixers try to create anonymity is often stupid and expensive. It would help if every bitcoin website would have the option to get a new bitcoin address but thats not the case unfortunately.

I mean swaps run automatically for margin trading so i was wondering if there is automation too or if i should enable the notification so that i know when a number of my swaps ended earlier.
By the way... whats the story with swaps offered for half of the normal orderbook rate?

Is there no service thread for bitcoincharts.com at bitcointalk?
I was wondering why circle or coinbase arent in the list of markets. I think at least coinbase should have a bigger impact on the overall bitcoin price isnt it?
On the other hand... how realiable would be such a price? I mean coinbase is an exchange as far as i know. But its a payment provider too. And users buying something on websites or so lead to bitcoins being bought on coinbase. Which means price development on coinbase isnt coming from traders watching the price but coming from users who dont care about the price, they only want to buy something with bitcoins. The coinbase price will have an impact though i wonder how to treat it.
Or am i missing something there?

You might think about adding btcchina and okcoin because those are pretty big market who move the worldwide bitcoin price way more then the other exchanges. Though im not sure about coinbase's volume. They arent listed on bitcoincharts.
And it would be good if you would give the possibility to merge trades in the trades list. For example merge trades to 0.1BTC trades in order to have a smaller trade list. If thats too hard then cutting would be a feature. So that you can set it up that only trades >= 0.1BTC are shown. This could help to weed out the noise.
Ideally editable for each exchange. Because for example btcchina has many many trades. These trades could overwhelm all other trades. So it would be good to merge those trades to a higher BTC bundle and then show them. Then you could watch all the markets together in the trade list.
You already have a $-Feature though i think thats for the graph. How big the blocks are right? I cant test it properly because the graph drawing has problems.
Edit: By the way, can it be that coinbase make the results wrong? I mean coinbase is a normal exchange as far as i know. But its mostly a payment service. So when these payments happen, what happens on coinbase? I mean you can buy goods and automatically coins are bought on coinbase right. So is that the reason that practically only buys are shown for coinbase? People buying some stuff and coins are bought on coinbase automatically. But those people dont care about the bitcoinprice. Though coinsight should show the traders and how they react to the bitcoin price. Im only unsure if coinbase delivers the data that is needed for this project. But maybe im wrong about how coinbase is working.
Edit 3: Sometimes there is an error when trying to change the $-value. Its not working to set the value back from $5 to lower values until i reload the website. The same happens sometimes to the minute value.

Great to see you added some of my suggestions. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Looks like you still work on it to improve it. Some feedback though. Something is broken with the site. Im not sure when it is triggered but it looks like when one timeframe is over then an error is in the code. For example i chose 1 minute timeframes. It shows the graph, updating and so on, but when the next minute comes the graph vanishes and the loading graph is showing all the time. So something is broken there. You added a chat feature... if you enable it so that people can start chats then you most probably will have more betatesters giving you feedback or error reports. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I like what you do. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I dont understand how sending it as a gift wont stop a chargeback,
I sent PP as a gift and got screwed over (10 bucks big deal), when I went to do chargeback it wouldnt even let me.
Big red letters, cannot chargeback since payments was not for goods or services.
People keep saying if you do gift chargebacks can still happen easily.
I understand maybe if they pay with credit card but what if it is paypal fund or ACH payment?
You understood this the wrong way. Its not protecting the sender from a chargeback happening, it protects the receiver from chargebacks. At least as far as i know.

I didnt check the thread nor the user but even if he offers to use an escrow, escrow wont help you at all. If the owner of a voucher contacts the company the voucher is from, claims that his voucher was stolen then the money from the voucher will taken back. The buyer sits on the loss and the escrow cant do anything about it.
The only way that an escrow could help would be to find out how long the voucher seller could claim a voucher stolen. If the escrow funds, from a trusted escrow, are given to the seller only after that time, then you are safe.
So if you have doubts then better stay away. Only invest or buy if you are pretty sure that it will go fine.
But he's offering to buy the items directly, he's not giving vouchers. Buyers should ask the escrow to hold the payment until the good arrives and is checked by them. The only problem I see is the seller may be laundering money or something else illegal. Probably still not a good idea to deal with him. I see. I misread the Thread Starting Post as he selling vouchers for amazon. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Where the SMA/EMA lines last crossed on the 1HR chart. Low 240's will be bottom today or tomorrow. Then the bull will come home.
What SMA/EMA? I mean the settings. Is it a common practice to use this threshold as a resistance line? Or do you only say this because you think it will be around that level?

Thank you for the explaination. The first thing i thought of reading green address was the green address at mtgox. I believe that was even another thing.

A bonus that will be paid out randomly to any of the constructive posters each time might be an idea. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Regarding what is constructive. I think the most important thing for posts for an campaign is that the signature takes views. Not only pageviews but people actually looking at the signature. Pointing out to look at the signature would bring something in a post though it would be spam. So the only other solution would be to post something that keeps the eye for some while. Raising the chance to read the signature. Helpful posts might mean this. Too long posts most probably not. It would be way better when the posts are done in an related area. So like gambling subforum or threads. Because there is the target audience. And if you put a link in signature. Simply blue, underlined, the way you would await a link too look. Then even make it uppercase. Then you would even get more clicks than with graphics because one overlooks graphics fast but simple textlinks for some reason gain more clicks. At least thats what i learned from experience with my internet marketing time. If you really want to go pro then you need to use dynamic links. So you can see where the new visitors to the site came from. Which thread, which writer. Then you can go on optimizing. If i would run such a campaing then i would make sure to optimize it. Otherwise you most probably throw money out of the window.

Can you help this guy buy cheap Bitcoin from Amazon ? Sometimes when I want to buy the whishlist and I confirm that I want to put it in my cart, it says it's empty... Anyone got a solution ?
Nope... he most probably tries to buy a amazon coupon, which purse blocked some time ago. Then they blocked buying products from outer shops. Cant be bought anymore and the wishlist is simply shown as empty. Now they started blocking a whole country. I get "We no longer support Amazon.de, please try amazon.co.uk". Though Amazon.co.uk is quite more expensive in my experience. Im not sure if i can use it anymore.
