4341  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Revolutionary Mining Technology on: January 30, 2014, 09:22:32 PM
It is not revolutionary at all.
It is power hungry and expensive.

20GHs Asic 28nm = 30W at the wall (max)
20Ghs Cloud Mining X 0,0339 = 0,678 BTC or 542 USD. And is available now.

And of course FGPA is an old story!!!
 So, where is the Revolution???

i also get pretty much from whatever mining happens at the 2nd and 3rd pool options set on the ant, is this normal?

Do not set the secondary and third pools. If there is any network delay it is going to flip over super fast and you might get rejects and stales. This was messing me up big time at first until I just set a primary and blanked out the rest.

you could be right, since i get nothing in the those two anyway

Actually I had a problem when I set pool 2 and 3.

When I removed them and stuck to just one pool everything is working fine.
4343  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 30, 2014, 09:07:42 PM
That is the stratum difficulty he has set.

16+ GH/s - 16 difficulty
32+ Gh/s - 32 difficulty
64+ GH/s - 64 difficulty
128+ GH/s - 128 difficulty
256+ GH/s - 256 difficulty
512+ GH/s - 512 difficulty
1 TH/s - 1024 difficulty

where exactly do you set these values? what happens if they are not set to match the miners operating speed?

Trust me I get an average of 0.003% score no matter the difficulty set.

However I have noticed slight increases of GH speed after the change from 16 to 128 workers.
Bottomline: I get more or less the same score, sometimes higher but sometimes less.

EDIT: You set them from your profile setting under mining

I see it on 128 on my miner status page but where do you change it from. NOt that

From cex.io click on your account name and choose profile -> mining settings

I am having a problem checking out with an order on the website today.

Anybody know when this will be resolved?

Thanks

I heard of a few people who tried to access their site yesterday and today and had problems.

I would wait until the issue is resolved.

i have a problem, and i wonder if anyone got the same issue
after 2 days of mining i start to get errors on both miners 2 antiminers s1:
ooxxxooo oxoxoxxo oooxoooo oxxooooo

On BTC Guild, i have the same hash rate.

After a reboot, the errors goes away, and i can mine again for 2 days or so...

Ignore them it is just a display bug.

I agree. If your hashrates are fine the X does not mean anything.
However if you keep getting that error check your PSU.
That error is listed in the antiminer setup and troubleshoot guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0

4347  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.free samples review report here. on: January 30, 2014, 07:38:30 PM
I am some what known in the community, I've been interviewed for international newspapers, more than once now......

I would be more than willing to test one of these, Please contact me. If you have interest in testing still

I am more or less unknown to the community, I have never been interviewed by international newspapers, not once now....

I am definitely interested in testing one (or more) of these but I know I will never get the chance to unless I buy one.

But I am feeling lucky (and a but tipsy) so I thought I would give it a shot too  Grin

Besides, why not get a review from a "newbie" as well as a detailed description of how good and easy to work with your miners are.

Think about it.....

Your score is just a percentage of the entire pool, everything is fine. Stop worrying Cheesy

Got it Smiley

Thanks Smiley

Ok guys I have asked this question before but got no response so I decided to show you what I mean:

Any explanation from the Antminer gurus why my NOT OVERCLOCKED Antminer hits these speeds?

I am not saying I am not happy but,
Is this going to cause a problem to my miner?

Please let me know.

Thank you Smiley

Look at the average rather than the current speed and it shows to be running at good speed. It will go up and down due to pool or even internet connection but as long as you are happy with the speeds and there is no x's on the chips then you are all good. Which chip sped are you currently on ? Just to double check 375 is default

What do u mean chip speed?

I did not overclock.
The only modification I did was to disable NTPD as I was getting errors and wouldn't connect.

Also if you notice, apart from the speeds my score is usually the same, sometimes it goes higher to 0.004 but also down to 0.002

Most pools calculate your speed based on submitted shares and some specific time (usually 30-60 minutes) and that's what it shows. look at your 1day average that's closer to true speed. Also if you look at you antminter directly it will show you your current hushing speed and average that's closer to its current performance.

i can tell you...this is nothing!!!  Grin
i run 150gh and it begin almost every round with more than 1TH....  Shocked
no joke...artially held it continuously for more than 500 almost the hole 6min round...  Shocked Shocked

OK, but is your score the same as mine, between 0.002-0.005%?

I think that's what matters.
4350  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.free samples review report here. on: January 30, 2014, 07:04:30 PM
I'm willing to 500€ worth total shipped to italy, pm me if it's possible

If they actually offer that price count me in for 3 at least!
4351  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: January 30, 2014, 06:15:25 PM
Why do you think they are in stock and dropping on price constantly?
None of the antminers I've received showed the slightest evidence of being used. The reason they are dropping prices is that they're selling these things near or beyond the boundary of profitability, and so as more hashrate increasing days go by they need to lower the price to keep it from being an obvious loss to everyone.

My miner didn't show signs of being used either, and I am planning of ordering more.
Don't get me wrong but I am not stupid.

And when this guy: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

Had a mining power of 252TH 2 weeks from now, 2 days from now more than 520TH and today only 450TH (btw 3 hours before it was 490), then don't tell me pre-order or any kind of mining equipment has not been used yet. For the sake of testing purposes let's say  Roll Eyes

Let's be honest here, it's nothing personal it's just business.
You would have done the same.

4352  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: January 30, 2014, 05:24:31 PM
Nothing new released yet.

They are selling the Antminers to make room for the 2TH+ miners Wink

Why do you think they are in stock and dropping on price constantly?

+1
4354  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 30, 2014, 05:02:23 PM
OK, so I guess I shouldn't worry about my miner as I have it on a 500w PSU.

Thanks guys Smiley
4355  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Revolutionary Mining Technology on: January 30, 2014, 04:52:03 PM
That is not even a 3D graphic, its a pseudo-3D graphic.

hahahahaha

If you were really designing this the you would have a true 3D perspective of your machine.

Sorry I don't buy.

Besides, 3MH for $2500 when you can get the from the MANUFACTURER for $2K?

And $2K for a machine like that is way too much at this point.

Any idea of when we can expect your license release?Huh

Are any of your prototypes working?

Thanks Smiley

Look at the update just a few posts back gives you general idea where we are. Still waiting on an initial bring up board for the BitFury Wasp.

We will release licensing at the same time the gerbers, bom, software, firmware and hardware are working and we will know better on that come the meeting on Saturday.

A1/BitMain and BitFury Wasps release would come out nearly together if not together and we are hoping for better news this Saturday. We will post more on Sunday.

Thanks!

I am already watching this thread so can't wait for more good news Smiley

Sooooooo....

Where the fuck do we buy these...

I was wondering the same thing, but wasn't going to ask now as I believe it is better to wait till 10-15 Feb when their prices drop.

I am not willing to invest $2K for something that makes around $24 a day when I can only invest $1200 to get another Antminer that makes $40 a day.
