The bigger idea of Bitcoin is that it will challenge the corruption of central banks and destroy the system that keep the masses poor while passing free printed money to themselves and their banks. Problem is I don't see Bitcoin ever being mass adopted. What I do see is the very rich and often corrupt (Chinese officials for example) using it to shelter their money. Bitcoin unfortunately is being used for illegal activities, especially money laundering. There is really no use for me to deny that, even as a die-hard bitcoin fan. CSK and RR were banned for 2 years. One year has already passed so I guess they'll start playing from next year onwards. I guess the main reason why people don't get bitcoin or doesn't have to get it is because they are scared about it. There are a lot of humors that are coming out especially with medias and government warnings that don't ever try to get into it. They are making the people believe that this is a real medium for illegal thing which is fact but they are not seeing the lighter side of it.
I agree with you, this might one factor and also they do not see the physical money of bitcoin unlike the dollar or fiat currency. We do not know how people was brained wash by the government. Trading is really way much more better than gambling,
Cause in trading you are not depending on your luck to come it is on your skill unlike in gambling where you are just depending in luck.
If you are that skilled then trading is a sure way of earning and we know that it's a better way of making profit on bitcoins. But if you are sick enough and you got stressed already with what your trades then gambling is better to relief that feeling out of that stressful day that gives you headache everyday. I would say that bitcoin pose no real danger to the financial system. In my opinion the bitcoin as the alternative to the financial system just gives the idea about how many people are discontented with the fiat status quo. Ofcourse showing discontency is in itself destabilising for the system that is based on the faith - fiat.
There is a small additional threat to the fiat financial system. There is a disconnection of real money (of bitcoiners) from the system, that before the existance of bitcoin had provided the liquidity on the markets. That can pose additional destabilisation to the system that need to print more fake money to compensate for the loss of liquidity of money leaving the system.
You can say that bitcoin provides more destabilization to already very unstable system. The system is meant to fall. Every expert on the subject is completly amazed how long does this unstable fiat financial system works. It should have failed a long time ago.
I dont think BTC can pose a threat to destabilize the present system. But what BTC can do is provide a channel for the darknet to move value and makw payments without needing the financial system. That is far from destabilization. It is more like enablement of the underserved. That's right. It won't make a big impact upon the financial system because already they've been developing strong enough with blockchain to compete the digital network.
