4341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: December 09, 2015, 05:28:22 AM
Well, the most behaviour that lead to gambling addiction must be the curious feeling. What i mean is, we as a human always curious for everything that we do. So, we feel curious either we can win or not. Then, when we already gambling, plus got some luck on that day, we will have some extra money for an easy win. Thats make we feel want to make some more money then. At the end of the story, the greedy type of person will got nothing and lose it all.

That make sense and it usually starts with a win and in hopes to win more, one can simply bid more than what they have resulting to have debts on casinos just like what we see on movies.
Those we see on movies are made up stories really and its a bad combination if the addicted one is involved with drugs as well. They tend to sniff these to keep up.
4342  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: December 09, 2015, 05:21:06 AM
is it possible to add some links to the MMA/boxer's profile so those who aren't familiar of the athlete can have backgrounds of who they are and what they are capable of?
I think this will entice people to simply bet instantly without googling each of them.
4343  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorit Bitcoin gambling site and why? on: December 09, 2015, 05:16:57 AM
I like directbet although I've seen a site similar to them with great graphics but since I've been with them for a long time, I still bet with them.
Particularly betting on boxing and MMA fights to which I'm always been a fan of MMA.  hope they give link to backgrounds of the fighter so one can compare possibilities.
4344  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you calculate before deciding to Fold or Call? on: December 09, 2015, 02:21:13 AM
em.. not really usually i just go based on my feeling

but if the opponent raise the bet, i usually do some calculation to guess the cards

but eventhough i used calculation the last decision also based on my feeling

I use to trust my instinct too until I lost all my chips, it could work for you though.  Playing online is very much different than the real on but but how often do you win for a number of hero calls?
4345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Wired discovered the real Satoshi Nakamoto? (.. this time) on: December 09, 2015, 01:47:02 AM
Satoshi would put himself endanger when exposed and he knows this very well so this name as we all know isn't real. God knows the real Satoshi might have been in a remote island enjoying the sun, sipping coconut juice beside the shore, no worries about privacy and security.  Grin

If you will be selling something or loan to take a risk and gamble the funds, this sure is a sign that you need to stop. Its like selling your properties/stuff to buy coke or meth and so this is definitely a sign that you should stop else you'll commit a crime later. Maybe you'd steal something or rob a bank later to meet ends  Cheesy

Can you do some small project for low level C, I just want something to work for my Arduino. Installed an IDE lately to find some script to work as security alarm using its sensor, if you do have something in mind, let me know.
4348  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info on: December 08, 2015, 01:05:22 PM
Blockchain.info is not affected in this way. They allow users to export private key which would give the user full access to the funds even if they are down. They don't have your unencrypted private key in the first place.

Good to know that.  Granted that a user had exported his private key, how would he access his wallet while site is down? And can he still send the funds to another wallet?
4349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2015, 12:53:45 PM

I've already knew bitcoin back 2012 I just didn't expect it has become that huge and wasn't into it because I got a job. I use to work as an administrator of a site. I kept hearing bitcoin as our clients ask if we accept bitcoins. After my contract ends, I started learning about BTC and here i am. Smiley

I still work for an online company and so I'm just here earning btc as well while also working for them Smiley

even betfair takes a cut. I mean without juice there really
isnt a reason to even have a site.

Of course, but they generally have better odds than traditional bookmakers, since you're betting against other gamblers, not the site itself.

exactly!

yes. it only needs an escrow i suppose as there are lots of people here willing to bet for sports. BUT I don't see it happening here. I can see threads but thats just it.

If lets say a user can create a bet option for a MMA fight to the said site and another user agrees to the amount, then whoever wins get to have the sum amount, not the odds.

of course escrow or the site gets a percentage.
4351  Economy / Gambling / Re: receives almost 100% from betting on: December 08, 2015, 09:43:09 AM
Are you really asking if there is someone who would bet at 2x for something that is less than 50% likely to happen?

There is no such site, if there is it would probably be bankrupt already. Probably you can start one? Grin

Sevilla vs Juventus. I bet that there would be 1 goal or more scored. Both of us will send 0.01BTC to escrow, and the winner gets 0.02BTC. Do you consider the offer attractive?

Why would the site gets bankrupt when the site don't spend anything at all but to escrow the bets of both parties.
Lets say you bet for Aldo and I for McGregor for 0.05btc we both send 0.05 to the site and if you win, you get 0.09 and the site get 0.01.
4352  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Brand new to forum, get BTC regularly and would like to sell for paypal, on: December 08, 2015, 09:29:20 AM
Its mostly the newbies that are the usual scammers here in bitcointalk. Its probably time the forum should at least just screen the newcomers to lessen scams.
4353  Economy / Gambling / Re: receives almost 100% from betting on: December 08, 2015, 08:56:47 AM

Lets say I wanna bet for McGregor versus ALdo this 13th. I wanna bet for 0.05 btc only and if I win I get about 0.05 less the site fee.
if this what they mean here in page? https://www.fairlay.com/predict/registered/new/jose-aldo-vs-conor-mcgregor-5/
4354  Economy / Gambling / receives almost 100% from betting on: December 08, 2015, 08:40:32 AM

Just wanted to know if this gambling site already exist?
Lets say I wanted to bet on a sports match and the gambling site will serve as an escrow to whom i can bet with. in other words, we get to give equal amount to the escrow if we agreed to bet a match.  of course the site receives certain percent by acting as an escrow.

4355  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOINSEVEN.CO | BTC/LTC Casino | Free Bitcoins | Provably Fair on: December 08, 2015, 07:56:36 AM
0.005 mBTC Free is great!
Why is the site named Seven by the way? I was thinking I could earn 7btc through that 0.005 Smiley

I was buying litecoin last month and may buy more if it goes $2.50, you can always expect litecoin to go up once again right when bitcoin also rise. So if you are selling your litecoin, let me know and i could buy it with btc.
4357  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info on: December 07, 2015, 03:04:13 PM
I use online wallet every now and then for my transactions, I don't have hug transactions anyway. If its less than a hundred, i don't think someone will hack my account for such amount.  I only keep about $50 in my blockchain wallet and send the rest to my armory wallet just be be safe. the point is don't store much for your online wallet, just keep something that you could spend.

4360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum to start on trading on: December 07, 2015, 01:54:21 PM

I'd probably start with about 3btc or more before going into trading, it seem like you can't feel the amount earned with small amount as capital. It does seem like earning just about $25 per inflation isn't worth the wait you did.

Well for a serious trader one must have a quiet big amount to start on trading world as it will take you to much noticeable progress if you gain or loss. With only a small amount you can't really see clearly how your progress is going on.

What if one has no big amount like that? I sugggest one to start doing small trades at fair amount and all returns including the capital , i said ALL, must used and rotate in order to have a much earnings every successful move and after you gain a quiet big amount just used all of it to start on big trades. Really time consuming and one must need patience.

I don't see how much you can gain in btc trading  unless you wait for the pump but unlike doing it with forex, you just need $200 and a leverage to which you can earn a $1 per pip.  A single movement in a day depending on the pair may reach up to a hundred pip to which you can earn about $100 as well. this of course if you can bid at the right time.

Honestly in my BTC trading history, I don't need to wait for a price pump just to make profit. It's a rule of buying coins in a dip situation. I didn't set any low target price that much like others always did and now stuck up waiting for nothing.

I really make a quiet profit up to now and gains some coins after a "patience" method.

Depend to the kind of system you have.
Some are scalpers bid and exiting an open position in a minute time frame even before it starts retracing and this can mean gain to them. They can do this the whole day to which I believe we can't in btc trading.
