4341  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: May 31, 2019, 06:49:42 PM
A good investor must be hard working, patient, dedicated, have sufficient knowledge, not emotional, and most importantly have goal. Even if you have all these traits if you don`t have a goal, then most likely, you will end up loosing.
So, you are saying that the person should convert himself to a "machine/robot"? Hard working, dedicated, sufficient knowledge (self learning), being emotionless and having a fixed goal all these features are what a robot has. It is totally impossible to be emotionless. You just need to have a fix goal, that is it. This goal should not comprise of just profit. You will also need to set a goal on how much you can lose. Once you reach this goals, reset and start again. Don't be chasing loss or run after more profit.
4342  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto to trigger a global bank run? on: May 31, 2019, 06:32:14 PM

I think everyday trust toward to the money is rapidly depleted, and people will finally realised how ignorant and gullible they’re to just earn the IOU garbage fake money, do you think crypto will trigger the complete bank run? Or any other delusional store of value that we don’t know yet?
If everyone loses faith on fiat money, and causes a bank run, no one will be willing to sell their bitcoin for fiat money anymore, right? Why would they? Since you said "trust towards money is rapidly depleting", it means the fiat currency will end up being worthless. No one will exchange those worthless currency anymore. You see, this does not make any sense. Fiat won't be completely replaced by us, at least for now. Though it might in the future but in a planned way.
4343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: May 31, 2019, 03:17:57 PM
NO, we do not need any kind of "bitcoin government". What was the main goal of most of the crypto currencies? To have a decentralized financial system with no one interfering with your assets. Those coins/currencies will only belong to you and no one. Now, if a "bitcoin" government comes in place, then the system will no longer remain decentralized. Everything will go under that "government". We are doing fine without this government thing.
4344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only safe haven currency is Bitcoin on: May 30, 2019, 10:36:49 PM
True. This are some noteworthy points. During war, if the country is facing serious financial crisis, they can snatch away everything you own. After all, it is the government who owns all your property. But, since bitcoin and other crypto  currencies are decentralized, they can not take your points at their own will or power. Again, this is a global currency with no boundary restriction. Hence, you can take it with you to somewhere else without any issue and use it (unless that country specifically banned crypto currencies).
4345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: May 30, 2019, 10:32:22 PM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/
He was lucky lol. Not blessed. And Gambling is NOT the answer to poverty. This guy just got lucky. Not everyone is lucky enough. Those who suffer from poverty, but keeps on gambling, they will lose everything they have. Lets just say, all those who are suffering from poverty entered a gambling lottery by buying large number of tickets. Only one of them will win the lottery. That means, just this one guy was able to go out of his poverty, while rest of them are now suffering more.
4346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: May 30, 2019, 10:26:55 PM
Some people saying BTC has no value as is made from nothing. Those same people using money in every day life. If we look into paper money as terms of value this piece of paper is also without value and also made from nothing.

If we think this way then we should be only exchanging goods like gold, stones, weapons, food.

BTC, Crypto is in my opinion only next step in term of money. So we will be calling BTC money soon. It will only be huge advantage for us early adopters to get some while cheap.

When btc will be replacing money in terms of salary anyone who will one 1 BTC only will benefit a lot as with price increasing people will get salary of cca. 2000 sats and 1 l of milk will cost 1 sat in the store.
It is very hard and confusing to understand what you are trying to say. I get the first part. Yeah, paper money are just pieces of paper printed by the government. The government can print the money anytime (but they don't as it will decrease the value of the money), but the amount of bitcoin that can be mined is limited. Thus in this case, bitcoin is actually far better than paper notes.
We still do call bitcoin "crypto currency" which is kind of a digital money.
4347  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sending BTC from Gambling Site to Binance? on: May 30, 2019, 07:42:13 PM
Does anyone know if there is any issue with this?

Can someone here confirm if there is any issue sending btc from a sportsbook to binance?  Someone a while back mentioned there is nothing in the TOS against it.  I know with coinbase or gemini.. ppl said they would ban accounts if you send btc from gambling site to coinbase and vice versa.

Has anyone done this and if so, anyone ever had an issue with this?
Go to their site. Read their Terms of service carefully. Make sure your are not breaching any of their terms. Next go to their support.  Contact them and clarify your query. Make sure they explicitly says that depositing from gambling sites won't be an issue.
Some people might be lucky not to get caught, so don't do anything stupid based on their experience.
4348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: May 30, 2019, 07:35:31 PM
yes, most people assume that to win the game only from pure luck, but if we apply the strategy to play regularly and have expertise in playing, of course defeat can be minimized.
Yes, dice, plinko, roulette,  minesweeper etc all these kinds of games depends on pure luck. There are no such thing as strategy that will help you win in these types of gambling games. The out comes happen based on probabilities which no strategies can change. Those strategies you make up or follow are just fallacy.
4349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rush money and BITCOIN on: May 29, 2019, 10:13:12 PM
today.  in my country spread information about Rush money system.  The public concluded that Rush money was influenced by political factors.  but on the other side.  I think this is not just about politics.  but this is proof that the public is bored with a centralized financial system.  but I want to ask.  what happens if BTC make a Rush money system?  or do you think that BTC never make Rush money?  share your knowledge here guys.  !
Never heard anything about the "rush money system". What country do you live in? Your other post that describes rush money does not make any sense. If people save up a lot of money, how would an inflation take place? It would be either deflation or nothing, but no way inflation will occur.
Edit: My bad. I reread what you wrote. Yeah, if they start withdrawing loads of money from the bank ans starts spending, inflation will take place.  But if they invest those money on bitcoin or other crypto currencies, inflation of the currency will still take place but the price of bitcoin will increase. Limited supply of bitcoin, price of bitcoin rising at a high rate thus accelerating the inflation of the country.
4350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 29, 2019, 10:03:35 PM
Its just a way of distributing free coins. Most of the people are usually attracted towards free stuffs. So air drops become a way for the developers to spread out their coins while gaining the attention of mass people. We can say its actually a form of advertising their coins while also increasing its adoption.
4351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is successful? - this one statement sums it up! on: May 29, 2019, 07:10:51 PM
Why bitcoin is successful?
Why no other crypto currencies are able to even come closer to it?
-snip-
Yeah, I do agree to the reasons given by the user on twitter. In other words, it is saying that it is completely decentralized for which it has much higher value than any other crypto currencies.
But, saying that "no other crypto currencies are able to even come closer to it" is a bit exaggerating. There are coins out there that has very good potential. Bitcoin just has its own advantage since it is the first every crypto currency.
4352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 29, 2019, 07:08:01 PM
There is nothing to be surprised about this. We were expecting to hit $8,500 anyways. It is a little bit too early to say that we will jump to $10,000 USD within this weekend. Though reaching $9,000 within this week does seem to totally plausible. Let's just wait and see what happens. The recent price rise seems quite interesting. Who knows, we may even hit a new all time high this year Smiley.
4353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things all gambling websites/apps/games should have? on: May 28, 2019, 10:06:58 PM
I'm curious to know what you all feel are the most important features of gambling websites/apps/games?
I would say the most important thing a crypto gambling casino should have is simplicity on everything. Everything should be simple and easy to understand. The interface would just describe everything in a glance. Nothing too complicated. There should be easy and fast deposit system. Same case goes for the withdrawals. Crypto currency casino should not be asking for KYC form as it is totally irrelevant for the players who are playing while keeping themselves private. Lets not forget about the provably fair and bet verification system.
4354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 28, 2019, 09:55:52 PM
This is nothing to be afraid of. It is totally inevitable. The more the words of bitcoin is being spread, the more attention it is getting from the scammers. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves secure from these kinds of scam. We need to learn how to protect our coins from those attackers. Those scams are actually helping us strengthen our infrastructure and the crypto community.
4355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: May 28, 2019, 05:24:06 AM
I played on casino site some days back and won a  certain amount of money, i was expecting to cash out my money instantly because one of the things that lured me to the site was the fact they offer instant payment. Its been days now and am yet to get my money. Please help what can i do in this case because i am becoming impatient
PS i forgot to add that they are requesting i fill KYC form and i didn't see this before i started playing.
Did you read their Terms of Service before agreeing to it? I am sure they have mentioned something about KYC form fill up on their terms of service. Even if they didn't, there is nothing much you can do other than giving away your information. What is the name of the casino? Let others know so that they don't have to face the same problem like you in the future.
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCIES INVESTMENT on: May 28, 2019, 05:10:12 AM
Hello,
I'd like to invest in some cryptocurrencies.
It seems BCH ETH XRP XMR are the top coins.
I have about 3000 eur, in what percentages should I differentiate my investment?  Huh
Thanks for your suggestions!
Taking financial suggestions from random people on the internet isn't the best thing to do. You know about your financial aspect better than anyone. The best thing to do is to learn about those different coins and choose those you think has potential.
If I were you I would invest more than 60% of my investment on bitcoin. I would spread rest on ETH and BCH.
4357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If anyone interested in quantitative trading software? on: May 28, 2019, 05:06:59 AM
Its a stable, simple operation quantitative trading software, can support binance, huobi, okex, and also will support zb,gate.I dont know how to insert a image, can anyone help me ?
Click on "Insert Image" and past your image link over there. It will show up once you post it.
Anyways, I don't think anyone will use a random software taken from a random guy from the internet. Trust and security is a huge issue over here. People will not want to risk losing their funds to a hacker. Though they might be interest if the code is open source.
4358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone here who also experienced this problem? on: May 25, 2019, 04:23:04 PM
You should probably contact their support to find out whats wrong. Posting here won't give you much help on this. Since you get "client seed cannot be empty error", did you try checking your client seed? If you still get that error, you can try clearing your cache and cookies of your browser. That  ought to solve that problem. If the problem still persist, then highly likely something is wrong on the casino side.
4359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Refer me a good Cryptocurrency casino on: May 25, 2019, 03:59:30 PM
You could try crypto-games.net if you haven't. The casino offers dice, lotto, roulette and other popular casino games. They also accept different kinds of alt coins and you can also deposit directly through coinswitch giving you more options! Crypto-games does not have any "loss back" or anything like that, but they do have monthly wagering contest where users on the top leader board gets % of their wagered amount back as a reward. You can invest in the bankroll too. Has almost everything you have been looking for.
4360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Transaction on: May 25, 2019, 07:10:51 AM
Hi guys, I need your feedback. We're developing a product. Sending, receiving Bitcoin internationally, getting paid in Bitcoin is always FREE, instant, and secure. You know, in a regular bitcoin wallet or service there are mining or transaction fees while sending Bitcoin. We won't charge any fee. So it's different from other services and wallets. Also, it's different from Lightning Network because it's very simple to use it. The receiver's email and the app are enough to send Bitcoin.
  • What do you think about that?
  • Would you use it? If you don't, can you explain why?
  • What features would encourage you to use this service?
We would need more information on how this is going to work. How is it going to be instant? Since it's different from lightening network and again, there will be no mining or transaction fees, then how will the transactions be confirmed? I am assuming this is going to be some decentralized thing. "The receivers email and the app are enough" - coinbase does the same thing right?
