4361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some of the major hacks in the history of Bitcoin/Cryptocurrencies (CHECK OUT) on: September 29, 2021, 10:43:41 AM
There is a thread that contains all 2011-2020 hacked platforms cases, but preparing more will not make people stop depositing more in those platforms, they want high liquidity, low transfers and no fees for withdrawal or when depositing, so they sacrifice the entire amount to reduce less than 10% will be paid as fees .

Unless decentralized platforms develop, greed will lead more people to lose their money, and the platforms will not bear any losses if your money is stolen.
4362  Other / Meta / Re: Question about ban messages. on: September 29, 2021, 10:13:12 AM
Personally, I do not see how adding a link or reason to ban would be a waste of administrators time, perhaps adding an existing list such as a trust list that contains well-known reasons in addition to the option to add another reason with a link to ban would be appropriate. or at least for Hero/Legendary members

Many people will come back to make ban approval topic and admins will search for reason.
4363  Other / Meta / Re: New feature suggestion: List all sale threads of members at one place on: September 29, 2021, 10:02:01 AM
It would be a good idea if the forum develops, but I do not think that adding such feature will help, especially since there are a few people who visit Marketplace boards compared to other boards, so the solution is to group them in one topic and create a small site to display all your products, provided that you add it at the end of each topic you have.

anyway good suggestion Cheesy
4364  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries Where Bitcoin Is legal or banned. on: September 26, 2021, 08:20:08 PM
Even the countries that ban Bitcoin, a clear and explicit lawsuit has not been submitted to arrest a person because he owns Bitcoin, and many countries do not have clear laws and penalties for anyone who trades or buys and sells.

In general, it is too early to describe the legal situation because if one or two of the G20 countries were to be established, Bitcoin would become legal currency in many countries in a short time.
4365  Other / Meta / Re: What is the main reason you don't come to this website more often? on: September 26, 2021, 07:55:36 PM
One of the main reasons I'm not here is because I can have more interesting discussions on Twitter and other platforms. In the past, it was hard to talk to someone about Bitcoin outside of this forum or using my local language.

Also, the forum is static and has not made many changes, which makes it possible to make posts using the laptop only.

Sometimes, I browse using my phone but the posts are from my laptop.
4366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranks of bitcoin hodlers. on: September 25, 2021, 02:00:25 PM
I heard these bitcoin hodlers categories several years ago, and therefore one Bitcoin in the past is not the same as the price now and may not be in the future.
Which means that the small fish this year may be fierce sharks and sharks are whales, even if the value of their Bitcoin has not increased.

Therefore, do not ask how much you may invest now, it may return you 5 times in the future Wink Wink
4367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many accounts per User or Company ? on: September 25, 2021, 01:34:12 PM
I gave you a Merit because you asked a question.
Now can you sign a message using your Bitcoin address? If you can, you will get more.
Build your account, ask questions, read the rules, learn and develop yourself, help others and you will be able to join one of the campaigns that pay in bitcoin and from it you may be able to get about more than $ 200 a month.

this is better than trying to join to bounty using multiply accounts.
4368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Can Happen If You Want to Trade Cryptocurrencies, but You Don’t Know How? on: September 25, 2021, 01:02:12 PM
I am wondering why people complain about getting money, and when they want to invest, they listen to the recommendations of unknown people from the Internet, or the recommendations of friends, or even try to imitate the investments of some.

This does not mean that the sources you mentioned are not accurate and may be biased because they have a negative view of cryptocurrency trading and Gamestop's story in particular.

Following open sources, research, question, learning, and taking advantage of mistakes is what makes you a successful trader, as there is no trader who has not lost before, but all the traders who have achieved success benefited from their previous experiences.
4369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next potential ecosystem after Solana? on: September 25, 2021, 12:42:18 PM
It is a wave of pumping and dumping, and if you are looking for profit, any project with a low market capacity and interest in investors will increase its price by more than 600% within a short period.
Therefore, it is difficult for currencies with high market capacities (top 20 cryptos) to achieve such results unless there is an injection of liquidity into Bitcoin, and therefore most of the recommendations above need to be lucky to achieve this profit.

I think Stellar (XLM) and THETA (THETA) are under-value projects but that doesn't mean it will reach to 600% bump.
4370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create Ideal Non-Inflated money? on: September 24, 2021, 12:53:42 PM
It will fail to do so because the current financial system is too big to be linked to any asset, and many countries have printed trillions of dollars in the past year, so unless there is a third world war or a pandemic that leads to real changes, it is difficult to make fundamental changes in the current system .

Gold will fail to be a reserve of the currency, and therefore the closest is silver to be a substitute, provided that gold remains usable and some other psychological metals.

Digital money are good for reducing spending on printing money, but they will not resist inflation, but will only make it worse.
4371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get married in the blockchain? on: September 24, 2021, 11:10:27 AM
It's a marketing ploy to get some money in exchange for creating a worthless smart contract, what's the point of making the marriage contract into a smart contract other than making the developers rich and paying more mining fees?
Unfortunately, many people rush to buy worthless things instead of investing in projects that deserve or at least keep currencies for long periods.

So short and long ans is No.
4372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinRT on: September 24, 2021, 10:52:24 AM
All projects bearing Bitcoin's name will die within the next 3 years if they are successful.

Most of these projects do not carry anything new but promises of quick profit with the modification of some parts of the Bitcoin code.

What made Bitcoin valuable is not the code, but rather the support and continuity of developers, so follow up on the project after a month.
If the developer team increases and the number of people who contribute to it increases and they are renewable, know that it may succeed in the coming years, but it will fail during the next 3 years.
4373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are 51% attacks legal? on: September 24, 2021, 10:35:31 AM
The 51% attack is dangerous and generally no one will do it unless they do a lot of accurate calculations and have a lot of luck.

Many platforms conduct investigations and stop large withdrawals from accounts for 6 hours, and some may even do more than that, so it is impossible for a person to succeed in carrying out this attack without verifying the identity.

Also, any mistake may lead to all profits for one of the miners, who may not return that money.
4374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today's crypto dip - what does a Chinese real estate corp have to do with it? on: September 24, 2021, 09:56:42 AM
Movements of +/- 5% should be considered normal due to the decentralization of supply and demand and therefore we should not ask why they happened?

When such a question is asked, there should be no answer, and therefore TV channels and others tend to search for the hottest event and link it to it, and thus you will find a link between Bitcoin and many economic events that are not related to them.

There is no direct link between Evergrande and the price of Bitcoin and the most that could be is the whale trying to panic buying at a low price.
4375  Other / Meta / Re: Banned words as usernames on: September 24, 2021, 09:37:42 AM
when creating my account I tried the username satoshiprincess. It didn't work beacuse the name contained Satoshi. The creators of bitcointalk reserved the name Satoshi, other names may be reserved also.
It's the first time I've heard of such restrictions, does anyone know when they were applied? Huh

I did a search for the name Satoshi and found some accounts with that name. It is wrong to impose restrictions on every Satoshi name and this account for example ----> SatoshiDICE_PR.

also SatoshíNackamoto didn't get a negative trust.

In short, it should be taken case by case.
4376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance set to end Crypto Derivatives products in Australia by 23rd December on: September 24, 2021, 09:11:17 AM
It is the beginning of the end of any activity against the regulators that Binance did throughout the world.
I think that Binance is beginning to understand that it must comply with all the regulatory restrictions that the government provides.

The question is the time given to traders is very enough. 90 days is too much. The bad point is that it is not possible to open new positions, which means that the previous data may be exchanged with Australia government.

Restrictions will increase and we will see that the withdrawal volume of 50,000 will start decreasing as the user requests more data, proof of source of funds and other money laundering regulations.
4377  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdraw and stop using Binance on: September 24, 2021, 08:49:10 AM
I do not think that either CFTC or Binance will reach that point, and therefore I think that Binance will reach understandings by paying money to the government and sending all the required data to it instead of losing a lot of money because of seizing.

Binance is not a small company and they make a lot of profits, so we see them become more fearful and then it is difficult for them to ignore government decisions as they did in the past.

The losing side is the operators, as their data will be in the hands of governments soon and they may have to pay more taxes sooner.
4378  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Robinhood launching crypto wallets with commission-free trading on: September 23, 2021, 05:35:12 PM
Will the service be similar to what is happening in PayPal now, or will you be able to get the private key?
Meaning, will you be able to buy, sell after you bypass identity verification and certain restrictions, and trade, or will you own the private key?

In general, I do not think that they will give the private keys, but it will be a central service aimed at speculating in the price of Bitcoin more than a platform for buying and selling.
4379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale moved $2bn in bitcoin 540 times in a short time frame on: September 23, 2021, 03:56:17 PM
Someone who wants to launder money will not make things suspicious, but will try to do so in secrecy, so it is unlikely that he will be someone who wants to launder money.

Lots of platforms tend to reduce network fees by consolidating all outputs into one address (input) and thus cheaper to make withdrawals rather than doing so with many inputs. AKA batching process.

I also don't think mixing services will aggregate all their addresses into a central address, that would make them much easier to track.
4380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does this mean for Bitcoin adoption on: September 23, 2021, 03:11:10 PM
It's old news that you can trade bitcoin in Dubai free zone with ease.
You still can't do it officially in the country so it's hard to get a crypto license in Dubai but I think things will change in the coming years.
The important news will be whether the state invests or encourages that, that news will bring about a turning point.
