I missed both practice sessions but what caught my eye is Vettel at FP2 placing at 5th.  I checked the number of laps and it was 28 and 37 so it didn’t rain.  He was a good 1.2 secs faster between practice sessions too.  Hoping to see a good race for him.  Smiley

^  I don’t think Gane will be ready for Ngannou imho.  Ngannou is a beeaaast.  He has gotten a lot better as shown in his rematch vs Miocic.  And I don’t think a match against Gane would even be close.  Line for Ngannou could open at 1.50 and that’s optimistic.

Edit:  Gane opens as a huge favorite vs Lewis at 1.36.  I think I’m gonna bet Lewis.  MMA doesn’t work on him as shown vs Blaydes.  Lolol.  Cheesy
You shouldn't underestimate Ciryl Gane IMO. Even if Ngannou is a tough fighter with several KO victories in the first round, you shouldn't forget they come from the same team together, the Paris MMA Factory, so Ciryl Gane, his coach and his team know Ngannou very well , and all his weak points too. If Gane says he's ready to fight Ngannou you can believe him, his game plan is already made.
Moreover Ngannou is only HW champion since one single match and he has yet to show how he's able to defend his title.

I’m not.  Ngannou has the strength advantage between the two and he has improved a ton since losing to Miocic and Lewis.  It didn’t show until he fought Miocic again in the rematch.  I bet Miocic that time cos I really didn’t think Ngannou didn’t improve.  But you know what happened there.

It's going to be an interesting matches today! Hopefully Spain will punish Switzerland for the French!  Cheesy
But making a prediction about Belgium vs Italy is very difficult for me! I like the style of game of both teams, but it's impossible to tell which one is stronger! Still, I think the Italians will go ahead...
Spain to get the revenge from Switzerland over beating the French team, that sounds easy but it is not. Odds are way better for Spain, starting eleven in both teams are settled and 1 hour to go. Wonder know if Switzerland could make another surprise again Wink

Revenge for what?  Spain should be thankful they’ve been given a less tougher match up.  Lolol.  Cheesy  I’m not missing this one after missing what could be the game of the tourney in France vs Switzerland.

I’m thinking.. err hoping it’s another goal fest.  I got BTTS and the over 2.5 combo at 2.22 and Ferran Torres anytime goal scorer at 3.05.  Lezzz goooo!!

^  Techwise sure..  XMR is better than BTC for sure.  It really is what most people claimed BTC to be back in 2013.  But let’s be real here...  From a trading or investing perspective, it was better to hold BTC in hindsight.  XMR used to be a staple at CMC’s top 10.  Now it’s not even at top 20.  So yeah..  For those new people holding BTC, if you don’t really need to hide your tx’s, don’t buy just yet.
4365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: June 30, 2021, 04:15:10 PM
What about now guys?  Is this looking bullish or bearish?  This alt is really starting to look bullish imho.  It could be another great spot for another break out.

...  It’s just creeping up higher and higher week after week.

4366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 30, 2021, 04:07:18 PM
^  It’s nothing against XMR.  It’s about trading well and getting the most you can once it trends against BTC.  And right now XMR isn’t really looking that good vs BTC.  Here’s how the monthly looks to give you the long term perspective...

Not withstanding that polo chart if from a low liquid market now even looking at that one tells you we are at the bottom so now is a perfect entry point.

Why would you wait and buy on the uptick, that moronic.

That’s a monthly chart.  And if anything it’s showing that XMR is on a long term trend going down and it hasn’t really gained back lost ground since 2018 if we’re being real here.

I converted a huge chunk of my BTC to XMR back in 2017, I’m still down around 40% in BTC in that trade.  Lol.

^  Nuno at Spurs could work.  They’re not gonna be top 4 but def better than Mou that’s for sure.  Lol.  Cheesy

It’s a pretty sensitive spot for Benitez imo.  If he signed with Tottenham, I think it’s fine.  But with Liverpool’s rivals Everton and especially United?  Lol.  He’s going to get a lot of sh*t for it.  It’s like if Wenger signed with Tottenham which would he hilarious or Ferguson to City.
Benitez confirmed as Everton manager, the contract until June 2024. he is back in London now after he makes history with Liverpool as the winner of champions league 2005. seems fans won't his service, that looks like a banner against him in Goodison Park.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jun/29/rafael-benitez-to-be-confirmed-new-everton-manager-in-next-48-hours

Ugh...  That’s surely gonna leave a somewhat bad taste in some Liverpool fans’ mouths.  It’s not as bad as him going to United but still..  Wtf is Benitez doing..?  He should’ve gone somewhere else.

England vs. Germany was still an entertaining match despite the lack of goals compared to yesterday's matches. It's unusual to see Germany miss so many chances.

This should be over now with the three lions up by two goals. Conceding another goal is the risk if you're desperate for that equalizer.

It’s def done!  It’s gonna take a miracle to get Germany out of the rut.  Lol.

So England gets the winner of Sweden vs Ukraine next which is going to be played in an hour or so.  That should be one of the more easier match ups for them.

Edit:  England is actually at the softer side of the bracket.  Cheesy

RAHEEEEEEEM!!!!!!!!!

The play started with him and the play ended with him taking a shot and making a goal.  Nice one.

I would see definitive Sweden as the clear favorite.

After the last 6 matches on the top 16, I dont even know what clear favourites means anymore. Netherlands lost, France lost and Spain had a draw against Croatia. All those 3 are clear favourites to win but it seems this Euro is full of surprises so I wont be surprised too see if somehow this goes into penalty shootout and Ukraine win

I feel like either the winner of this match or Belgium will go to the finals..  Could also be both?  Is there a bracket showing where all the teams end up if they win?

You can check the bracket on flashscore.com

If Belgium keep on winning and so does the winner of either Germany or England, then both will meet at the Final however Belgium will play against Italy on the next round so it could go either way

Yeah I found it online.  You’re right..  It’s going to be another tight match between Belgium and Italy.  But slight edge is prolly with Italy.  At first glance the half time draw lined at 2 looks good or even half time draw and BTTS combo at 2.45 for a little extra value.

^  Daniel Levy is probably picking up the phone as soon as he heard the news.  Lolol.  They’re desperate for a manager.  No one wants the job!  Cheesy  Jokes going around that Neil Warnock turned down the job and Tony Pulis is thinking about it.  Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway..  La Liga fans.  Who is Junior Firpo and is he any good?  Bielsa seems to have convinced him to join Leeds.
4373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 29, 2021, 04:11:41 PM
Edit:  ^  WAIT WHAT???

Edit:  So what exactly happened?  I don’t see anything except something about Dana White and the manager.

Agree. Gane should be tested by Miocic. Or anyone else that was close to a belt fight. But I think, that Stepe will win Gane. And if that happens, it will be an awkward situation for Dana. He could not give Gane a fight against Ngannou and we will see Ngannou vs Miocic 3  Grin

I’m starting to be slightly convinced with Gane but I’d like to see him to see him matched up with a really good wrestler..  Curtis Blaydes!  If Gane beats that guy, I think he’ll beat Miocic everywhere imho.

I think Gane vs Jon Jones is intriguing too.

Is RBR the quickest team with the pit stops?  I feel like there’s some politics going on with the FIA’s annoucement that they’re looking into making the teams do slower pit stops.  How much of an edge would RBR lose if these 2 second pitstops were disallowed?  A quarter of a second per race?

Transfer rumours:

Liverpool have enquired about the availability of Paris St-Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe, 22, who has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Mbappe's contract at PSG is set to expire in 2022. It seemed to me that an agreement on Mbappe’s departure to Madrid had already been reached? Are there any more possible surprises here?
Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku has all but ruled out a Premier League return - with the 28-year-old Belgium striker has instead been tipped to succeed Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich. Another surprising news today. Is there a chance for this deal?
Manchester City's hopes of convincing England winger Raheem Sterling, 26, to sign a new deal have been hurt by the club's move of offering him up as a makeweight in a potential deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. Is Kane really coming to Manchester? I think there will still be a lot of talks and negotiations here.
Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho, 29, dreams of a return to Liverpool, but the Reds do not have any plans to bring the Brazilian back to Anfield. Another option for Coutinho is either Inter Milan or Leicester, who are managed by his former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, but the Foxes are only interested in a season-long loan deal. I think Coutinho definitely made a mistake when he came to Barcelona and now he is trying to revive his career.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/57624567

Interesting rumor with Mbappe and Liverpool.  But I don’t think that’s happening.  Will Liverpool really do a City and splash the cash on Mbappe?  It’s not like them.

Best move of Lukaku’s career if he transfers to Bayern imo.  He’ll def win the CL there.

Anybody fancy a Portugal win here vs Belgium?  Everybody I know who’s a football fan are rooting for Belgium..  I want Belgium but I want to fade Belgium at the same time.  I feel like this is gonna be all Ronaldo,  Prolly 2 - 0, 2 - 1 for Portugal?  Dunno..  But the line is at 2.95.

0.0061, is this market for fucking real?

It makes me wish I was looking for an entry point.

If you have BTC and is looking into entering XMR?  I’d suggest you wait.  BTC usually pumps first and leads the way after going side ways causing ALT/BTC pairs to drop before they pump themselves.
