Hello everyone, please rest assured that we are tirelessly working on this coin's development.
I was literally up till 5am on a work night finishing the beta client for release, so I hope you can understand that I have taken couple days rest after the beta launch.
Despite that, last night after I got home from my day job, I completed one of the node scripts of the anon network and we will begin our internal testing on that part shortly. One step closer.
While we are testing that, I am going to resume work on the client and fix the bugs we've found while also implementing some new features.
We will make a proper update about this next stage of the client in the coming days once we figure out a realistic timeframe for this.
I hope our current streak of constant updates and timely deliveries is keeping your confidence up that we will deliver the finished anon product as soon as possible.

It could be completed sooner, even before December 2014, But DEV team should be careful about announcing timelines.

I like debate, but criticizing ANON coins when we are still developing our own anon is likely to attract UNWELCOME CRITICS who could invite sabotage. At this point in time, we need help, not sabotage.
If the devs think this is off topic, they might as well say so and let papa_lazarou provide another link, but he is not criticizing. He is defending monero because of a statement made about it on this thread. Surely this is relevant, and I for one would like to hear about its anon features. I don't see how any of this would lead to sabotage. We would gladly be discussing the NAV implementation of anon instead had we heard anything at all about its progress! (cheap shot, I know  ) The DEVs are active, but I agree that they need to be more open and discuss more on the thread. We are recovering from a setback, I do not want to attract silly arguments that could potentially derail our fragile progress. I mean, if we start arguing about monero anon, then some critic is going to FUD this coin, then all the FUD will scare away newbies and potential investors. This is why we need to be careful now and be more focused on our own progress. |

It seems that things are going .. not as fast as I thought, but it's better than most coins!
I do have a question. A few days earlier I watched my address with transactions, but now when I want to see all transactions shown me "I'm sorry, this address has too many records to display." (However, Is shown the correct amount in RichList ) Can you fix it?
Hi gorian, this is a security setting inside ABE explorer. We had to set a maximum number of tranascation to be handled. Otherwise this yould be used to drive ddos or dos and kill the webserver. In the beginning I had set the value very high for testing purpose, but it came clear fastly, that this is to high in mem consumption. I can take a look wether it is possible to set this a little higher, even we have 20 times the number of succested transaction to use! Later when NAV skyrockets and we can afford to host a server farm, this should be no problem anymore ;-) I hope you appreciate this answer so long! Beside we are throwing every energy into deleveloping the new wallet and bringing new features like wallets for other systems! But you know it is not easy! regards shahim |
