So this is another Twitter hack like last year, huh? Back then, celebrities were promoting some sort of fake giveaway or bitcoin doubler, as well.

Pfizer has paid $2.3 billion fine for corruption in securing a drug and vaccine licence, and Moderna is a pharmaceutical company producing an antiviral vaccine for the first time and developing it in just 10 months? How are these companies to be trusted?

The main official organization is the SEC.
No, that's not true... SEC is an abbreviated name for "U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission". They have no jurisdiction outside the United States.

Happy New year everyone, I understand your frustrations in regards to the reduction in the pay rate although do understand that every decision taken by the campaign owner is to ensure the campaign is able to make out payment to all participants without oweing anyone. The pay rate will constantly be adjusted to suit the campaigns budget.
No, this isn't frustration on my part. I understand that this must be done. I just hope that this BTC price increase isn't temporary and that there won't be a major correction soon. It would be inconvenient for a lightlord to have to adjust rates every week. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Anyway, Happy New Year to you too!

Flaf supported. Obviously, this is a scammer looking for new naive victims. Stay safe.

<cut> Big reduce.. I am afraid many people will leave campaign ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I know btc pumping hard, but what if bubble will burst? Yes, unfortunately, it's a big cut. Although I understand why the lightlord feels he has to do this but maybe we could have waited a week or two before adjusting payments. Anyway, we can only hope that the price of bitcoin will make up for that difference and that it will not go in the opposite direction.

Thrilling factor is one of the main reason why those movies were successful in all the time period, now a days we didn't see much of the new movies related to bond, hope to see a new one soon. Watching this thread for more movies related to gambling because I am actually planned to one of the movie from that genre this Sunday.
The new James Bond movie, "No Time To Die" has been delayed a few times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be, hopefully, released this year (almost a year behind schedule). The spokesperson said in a statement: "MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time to Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. source: https://variety.com/2020/film/box-office/james-bond-no-time-to-die-release-date-delay-2021-1234790944/

Coins just don't go up like that. There needs to be a solid reason. Bitcoin prices have gone up, as a result of the hype surrounding integration into platforms such as PayPal and Square. Some of the altcoins have also gone up, mainly because they are also traded against BTC. Their exchange rate versus BTC has gone down, but that against fiat has gone up. But this trend is not going to last much longer and the hints are already there. Bitcoin dominance now stands at 72%. It was 57% before the start of the bull run.
Altcoins follow the Bitcoin's bullish trend at the moment (at least some of them). But I agree with you, the trend may not last long. Bitcoin is probably still the safest to invest in the long run.

This is not the right strategy to investing only in altcoins but you should invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum also. This because Bitcoin is the true global currency and is the pioneer in the digital currency concept. So, this is your misfortune that you are not an investor of Bitcoin. I have also much investment in altcoins but a little bit of my corpus is also invested in Bitcoin.
Exactly, not investing in bitcoin isn't a good choice. He thinks bitcoin is too volatile and the bubble will explode, but he doesn't think altcoins will drop dramatically when bitcoin explodes. Altcoin is not safer than bitcoin, it is still important to invest in the right time. Currently, altcoins follow the Bitcoin's bullish trend (at least some of them). But, regardless of that, I still think that Bitcoin investment is safer than in altcoins. Just look at what's happening with Ripple!

My username is named after my last baby...
Oh, that's so sweet of you. Simply my name ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I see that anonymity doesn't worry you too much. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) My username was a parody of "Satoshi's True Vision" ...
It’s hard to say which 'version' you support. There should be some universal sign for sarcasm. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) My name TheGhostMan is because I am very white and my friends tell me like this ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Sounds cool! Like some superhero name from comics. Or a super villain...

there must be organizations that combats online crimes but they work secretly , they wont release their works in public for some reasons but once they are success they will publicitize and they will say that that scam company are now shutdown and the owner is in jailed now
We cannot assume that these organisations operate 'secretly' because anybody can report any crime, no matter where it happens, either in the real world or in the cyber world. Specific organizations responsible for cybercrime cases vary from country to country. In addition to national criminal justice authorities, regional agencies such as Europol and international agencies such as INTERPOL assist in cross-border investigations into cybercrime.

I don't think any organization is contributing to tracking the ongoing scams in the crypto world. The government won't be held responsible for any harm anyone here can get. In the forums we have several people who are continuously contributing to exposing scams and they do their best for the community. People must recognize that it is our responsibility to stay safe.
I don't think that's entirely true. There are many cases where scammers from the crypto scene are faced with justice.

My bitcointalk username actually comes from playing battlefield 1. It's my favourite game I used to play a lot with my favourite gun being the Gewehr 98 from Mauser.
Yes, Mauser is actually a very famous German arms manufacturer (originally Königliche Waffen Schmieden). Their rifles and hand guns appear in various computer games and movies (especially if it is about World War I or World War II).

First of all, not all authentication codes are Time-based One-time Password (TOTP), some are HMAC-based One-time Password algorithm (HOTP) which depends on a counter.
Most services don't support HOTP, but TOTP only. While HOTP might be more user friendly because there is no time limit or lag to enter the code, it might be more susceptible to bruteforce. Generally, TOTP can be considered more secure than HOTP. Especially because the generated 2fa code is only valid for a short timeframe. I didn't even know about HOTP (probably because it's not used a lot), thanks for the info. I'm going to have to research this in more detail.
