4361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: October 23, 2012, 01:40:31 PM
Gold and silver are going to go under their lows from 5 days ago (~1740 or ~34), but not below major support at ~1650 or ~30, before continuing to higher highs.

Just thought I should put one of my predictions to the test as well as bashing Cypher's Tongue

Under 1740 and 34... now to find support above 1650 and 30. Cheesy

My crystal ball is showing that the USDX just topped.  I think this week could contain one of those corners you like to look for Cypher.  Should be an exciting week.

Too bad everything else has topped too, at least in the short term.

I placed an order today.  The communication was excellent.  I will post again when I receive my order.

Coins came today.  Thanks!

Even if they only gain the ability to trade they can drain your account by repeatedly setting up a spread and doing a buy and a sell through your account.  Sure, they'll only get a portion of funds, but you will lose all your funds.

Supply = Demand
Huh

1. Unless you were operating anonymously eBay would quickly bring the hammer down on US operators if BitMit ever became significant.

How would eBay "bring the hammer down"?

Patent infringement attacks that you can't afford to fight.  Welcome to the software industry in America.

FFS. This is like a penny auction...0.36

We have no information about what is in the wallet or when the auction ends.  What do you expect?
4367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitmit.net is auctioning itself on: October 21, 2012, 03:49:45 PM
Does anyone have thoughts on whether the same legal issues BitMit ran into in Hong Kong would also apply in the U.S.? Does it make any sense for U.S. citizens to attempt to purchase BitMit? I haven't seen this discussed on other threads, though I may have missed it.

2. The sale was cancelled.  The owners found a way around their issue.

Do I cordially feed Jelly to Shear the She-Alpaca for Friday's investigation, or bitch-slap anyone circling her gyrating yak named Maria?

4370  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Gold-foil Chocolate Casascius Coins for the Halloween kids this year? on: October 20, 2012, 07:31:15 PM
I attend a school with 30,000 students.  I want to hand out as many of these coins as possible on Halloween.  I will be investing the $75 for the minimum order, and any tips sent to my signature address for the next 48 hours will go towards additional coins for order on Monday evening EST.

4373  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do higher taxes on the rich historically correlate to higher economic growth on: October 20, 2012, 06:02:06 PM
Correlation is not the same as causation. Perhaps you would like to rephrase your question?

Anytime a topic mentions correlation, this needs to be the first reply.

He's asking what the cause of the correlation is.  I don't see a problem with his subject.

i start to hate weekends, can't stand the tension. #firstworldproblem

I love weekends, I always make sure to sell on Friday to support the weekend dip!

Support the weekend dip Indeed.  Once enough people start believing in it it will make a very nice profit opportunity for a bull that will leave a lot of train chasers Wink.

Do cordially feed or shear the she-alpaca during this fiasco, or stab anyone circling about her gyrating yak named Richard.

We are trying to go up, now that the weekend is starting? lol

It would be a good time to spring a beartrap on the weekend dippers Wink.

Don't immediately invite or shear that she-alpaca to this fiasco, or stab everyone circling about her pirated yacht.
