4361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin receives a massive increase in mainstream media attention on: May 29, 2017, 10:22:21 PM
It is good thing that Bitcoin is now receiving coverage of the mainstream media so that we can expect more and more people to get interested and also buy some Bitcoin. However, media have this cycle that after its honeymoon stage (where the subject is portrayed as very positive) you should expect that soon there would be some quarrels where the subject can be scrutinized and can be portrayed negative. Overall, however, this can mean good thing for Bitcoin.

Well, if anything is on the media it will receive positive as well as negative views from the media. Also since most of the media is in control of Government, you will see a lot more arguments in the favor of the anti-bitcoin but we should not be worried about it. The good thing is that due to the media bitcoin will be known to many people and people are clever enough to judge if it is good for them or not.

We all know media is full of bullshit and stuffs, they can make someone a killer and everyone will just believe them because they are media, they can even make a president fear them, anything can be done by media and everyone will believe them because theynare media, what they might say to bitcoin, that will be believed in by the people.
4362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we are greedy on: May 29, 2017, 09:01:18 PM
I think that people should try to hold onto their Bitcoin more if they really are complaining about the transaction fee. If the price of Bitcoin goes up about a hundred dollars or so, the transaction fee would be a little less if person knows how to go with the trend. Trading with leverage wouldn’t be that tough to do because the chart would usually have an upright signal and only those that didn’t know about Bitcoin while putting money into would lose a whole lot of money.

I don't think transacting a bitcoin, worth $2500 or so would have a transaction fee less than the current fee and with the current price of $2100. The higher the price of bitcoin, expect a higher fee, and you don't need to complain about it, you just need to go with it if you don't want to make your transaction stuck there forever.
4363  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 29, 2017, 12:44:25 PM
At some countries you are able to survive already doing faucets, and some signatures and captcha service, sure isnt the best way, but some people are able to survive doing those, soo we can say crypto world is changing a lot lifes, soo with that i do hope people dont go greedy and lost all gamble.

I don't think you need to rely on doing faucets, joining a signature campaign and participating on answering captchas. It is not enough for us to survive on a regualr basis. Think of it, if you are doing those, that means you have electricity bill, which you pay every month, the same as the internet connection. What you are earning from these 3 is not enough.
4364  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is it that's affecting the Bitcoin price fall? on: May 29, 2017, 10:40:16 AM
I think the only thing that affecting the price of bitcoin to fall is the correction for the price and also the panic sellers of bitcoin that is most content of newbies or new investors or traders in bitcoin because they think that the price will continue to fall and the only thing to be safe is to sell, that is what they are thinking so the price is keep falling down.

My bet is maybe because of that correction of the price. But I don't think that there are panic sellers because it didn't dump that big, it is still at $2100. How can they think that it will dump that big, and I don't think that it will reach $1500 or lower than that. Many people are waiting for the dump because they want to invest to it again, but I don't think that dump is not happening.
4365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Ecuador on: May 29, 2017, 09:14:21 AM

In 2014, all the cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin was banned by the government in Ecuador. This was followed by the introduction of the country’s own digital currency, the Dinero Electrónico.

However, defiant Bitcoin users still continued using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In fact, Bitcoin use in Ecuador has spiked due to the recent price rise.

Do you think that the Ecuador government will freely allow the use of Bitcoin as its popularity increases?

Bitcoin is banned and another digital currency, their digital currency we're used. That makes sense, so the government wants their people to use their own digital currency, not only it will be popular, but it will be also making a good price giving the government a good profit and making their economy good. Nice strategy though, but if the people wants bitcoin, they can't stop them from using it.
4366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: May 29, 2017, 07:03:55 AM
Yes Bitcoin should have a future and i firmly believe in Bitcoins .Already Bitcoin has grown and is still rising its in progression so which means bitcoin has a lot more potential and it will be a much more bigger success in future than what it had already achieved.
The reason why we are here is because we believe on the future of bitcoin, let's stop doubting bitcoin because it has
proven us all the time that it can rise to a bigger value, hold and believe, you can have what you want in the future, it's my retirement plan now.

There are a lot of reason that we are here, not all of us are wanting to earn bitcoin riding it's wave to the future. Some of us here just want to make business, sell something, make a campaign to make their sites or services known to users, some also just want to gain knowledge about these matter, about the digital currencies. But mostly, they are here to gain bitcoins and also profits.
4367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy 1 Bitcoin on: May 29, 2017, 06:05:04 AM
30 years is long time in bitcoin investment and a lot of patience is needed here. The standard time for bitcoin investment is 5-8 years.

So much patience, and that is really hard, because when you just look at your bitcoin and you've seen it has a big profit, you will be attracted to convert or sell that bitcoins. But if you really want to wait that long, no one will stop you, it your choice. And also, no one will stop you from earning them in that long years.
4368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the near future,... on: May 28, 2017, 10:30:44 PM
Where would you put the tattoos? No, wait, I don't want to know. I think, there's a paradoxon between tattoos and private keys. You get tattoos to make important things visible so that you will remember them. But you have to keep your private keys private, more private than your... pen*s tattoo.

I think that will be pretty hilarious, when you are making payment for example at a restaurant or maybe in a fastfood chain, and you forget your money and decided to pay using your wallet, in which they will scan the QR code right? And they will be like, why are showing your pen*s to me, I ain't gonna suck on that.

We can just have a web wallet on moblie phone and use them, no need for tattoos and stuffs, and there are still many thing to put your code, not only the skin, maybe ballpen, bag, paper, shoe, even your bracelet or necklace.
4369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to all the BTC that people lose the keys to? on: May 28, 2017, 09:52:02 PM
Gone! Lost forever!! And nothing can be done unless the owners get their keys to access it back. It’s extremely improbable, and effectively impossible to recover lost coins. This is what the security of Bitcoin is actually based on. If you’ve lost your private key, the system is so secure that you may not be able to recover it.

Most people lost their coins when Bitcoin had little or close to no value but now, obviously the rate of lost coins will reduce as people are so much more careful about how it is stored.

This made me recall the case of James Howells who inadvertently tossed a hard drive containing 7,500 bitcoins, which he had mined back when they were worth very little. Now that a bitcoin is worth somewhere around $2000, that drive has an estimated worth of $15 million. But unfortunately for Howells, an IT worker, city workers say it’s too late for him to recover the drive from the dump and without it, it is gone. So many other people like that. I wish satoshi will just randomly distribute all this lost coins, so I can have some of it Grin but how will he know when you can't even differentiate lost coins from people who are storing it?

That is right, there are no way we can get those bitcoins to accessible again, you can say it is wasted, left behind. And I think, not only those will be accessible to people, there are many happenings in history where bitcoin is mined and confiscated. Satoshi was said that he mined a million bitcoin before giving up the position to Gavin as the head of development. What happened to that million bitcoins? And there are many incidents that the police conphiscated bitcoins, I think there are a lot of inaccessible bitcoins in the past.
4370  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 28, 2017, 03:41:56 PM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?
No. I don't agree to your statement. Fiat currency will not become worthless in this world and the bitcoin will never surpass the fiat currency.

Bitcoin surpassed fiat, the thing is,  bitcoin will not make fiat worthless, the topic answered the question itself, if bitcoin is $10000, with that, why would fiat be worthless? without fiat, there will be no bitcoin because it will have no price. And bitcoin is not accepted by many stores, so we still need to convert our bitcoins to fiats and use that fiats to buy what we need.
4371  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin mining should be profitable now on: May 28, 2017, 02:41:57 PM
Bitcoin mining should be profitable now as

Bitcoin fees are much higher now

Example :
If I am going to buy 10 Gh/s from Hashflare = $1.2 + 0.002 trx fee
but return is not worth to invest

Mining is not as profitable as in the past, and mining bitcoin is not easy like the new digital currencies, if you want to mine bitcoin, you need a high end hardware for that, and also a good internet. And even if you buy one, electricity is also a problem, I think mining another good or new digital currencies is good and then try to convert it to bitcoin.

That's right, mining nowadays is not as profitable as mining in the past when bitcoin's price is at cents. It is profitable, but you need a good mining rig at your home to do that. For example buying a mining hardware costing $1900 to $2100, you also need to buy some cooling fans for that. Let's say you are mining $130 worth of bitcoin every week, and with your electric consumption, it will not still cover up the money you bought for the rig.

It will still take months before you get back your capital. But after that, it will be all your profit.
4372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 28, 2017, 12:40:57 PM
The best source of income today is investments(others). Most of traders are getting a little bit profit from doing what they called scalping. However, I found investing in altcoins more profitable as it can mulitply your money unexpectedly specially when you invest huge amoujt of money in ICO and it succeed.

You don't get what the OP are trying to say, trading even investment are not a good source of BITCOIN, yes, the OP is asking about the best source of BITCOIN not profit. Investment and Trading is a best way to earn profit, it gives you big money and that is great, but also, earning them not only trading and investment would be a great way to earn profit, joining signature campaign, doing faucets, PTCs and stuffs is some good qay to earn bitcoin, but I'll stick with Sign. Camp.

4373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was at 2500$ on: May 28, 2017, 10:45:43 AM
I think $1300 will be tested again.

Have you been under the rock my friend? Newbie (or alt) spreading FUD. Lol. This is funny. Bitcoin price is holding now and above $2200 so I don't know what chart are you looking and saying that $1300 will be tested again. You should buy when the price is $1800-$1900 and now the price is rising again and so sorry you miss the opportunity to profit.

Price was seems around 2100$ 2 days before, If you bought any bitcoins at that day. Still you can make profit out it. Bitcoin best stock than anything which will increase continuously in future without big slips. You could buy more bitcoin now also. You can make more of it in future.

The price is still atb $2100 now, and I don't think buying one now can give you a good profit. It may be a good fortune to people who invested to bitcoin since it's release in January 2009 where it's price is almost nothing. The price of bitcoin today is not a good price to buy one and save it until the next pump because we are not sure of it. $2100 is a big price for a digital currency.
4374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2017, 08:54:17 AM
I think we should do... nothing. There's nothing we should do for them? Why should we react to them? It's not our bussinesses
Definitely, why people got confused their ass because of people don't like bitcoin, it's none of our business and if we care to them, just wasting our time
let them do whatever they want and let us joy the current condition and make out the profit  Grin

We don't need to give a damn about them. If they don't like investing in a digital currency where we can have a good profit. Let's just focus on earning some bitcoin and focusing on our investment, we can't let another pump to slip away right? And even if we talk to them, as you've said, we will just waste our precious time talking and arguing.
4375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 28, 2017, 08:01:52 AM
I'm using web wallets for making transactions/investing my money in bitcoin, and also for storing the profit I got in making profit online.

Since I earn my first bitcoin, I am using web wallets. The web wallet I am using has also android application which is pretty efficient for me because I can convert my bitcoins to fiat and withdraw it in any banks any time, anywhere, as long as there are internet.
4376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: May 28, 2017, 05:44:00 AM
These is a really great project, just reading it's introduction in their whitepaper will make you read it till end. Electricity are needed mostly by our lives, someone can't even stay to live in a place where there are no electricity especially when they are used to electronics. I am also thinking that having electricity now will be resulting on a bad future, as we all know, every source and consumption will lead to consequences. The consequences are not good that everyone will not like.

4378  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: May 27, 2017, 11:13:28 AM
Today bitcoin is dumped to a thousand $ only so it better to buy now because weeks or maybe days bitcoin will rock again ang all of the traders will be happy that just because of the bitcoin value.
And you  should buy now bitcoins because after a year you will regret that you didn't buy it in low price.
That's a big dump for only a couple of hours, it's not even a day before the dump happened. But the reason of buying bitcoin now is that take the advantage of it because many are seeing the price is kind of lower and many wants to buy at dip.

I think these dump is because of the people who actually sold their bitcoin because of the price pump, unfortunately for the people who bought it, has no profit from it. But I think these the great time to buy one, as you've said, we need to take advantage of the dump.
4379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 27, 2017, 09:58:48 AM
bitcoin is very difficult to be considered as a stable source of income or profit because of the natural unpredictably of the direction of movement price. if you are not running a big company like a casino or some large bitcoin-related project like coinbase and the like or else you can't maintain regular profit.

That is right, but you forget the people who are earning bitcoins through mining, freelancing and signature campaigns. Mining might not be a profitable nowadays, but I think some miners save bitcoin from the past. Also some that earn from signature campaigns, if they are an active member of these forum, and he's been here forna long time, I think they've earn a lot of profit.
4380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small fortune, now which country ? on: May 27, 2017, 09:08:31 AM
Guys, i made a small fortune in altcoin/bitcoin. In which country should i settle ?
I have no wife, no kids, just a girlfriend, i´m free to go wherever i want (she´ll go with me).
But it has to be a bitcoin-friendly country.
I have no intention to buy lambos, just a peaceful life.
Thanks.

Oh, and my age is 53, that makes a difference too.

I think if you are having a "small fortune" with these digital currencies, I think it is better to live in China, or maybe Japan, but I prefer Japan, great people there, bitcoin friendly and you can live peaceful life like how you've wanted it. And I think, for me, that is a great choice, not having luxurious things which is a dream to most of the people even they are at your age. Good luck finding a country, just hope that you will be having a  great place to live with your girlfriend.
