4381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: June 06, 2021, 11:48:27 PM
Nice sounds like a decent offer, I have gotten this kind of deal on a regular basis from a gambling, trading and sports bet firm I use.   Only problem is when they give this offer I was not seeing it immediately and the offere expires in only a few hours.    Sadly the regulators later banned the idea of gifting a free bet to people, something to do with you arent allowed to encourage gambling or its not safe or something.  Red tape of course is the gift that keeps on giving whether you like it or not.
4382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 06, 2021, 04:52:41 PM
Amazed it goes ahead I guess half the delay was to further raise interest and sales.  Neither of them can lose because the pay out is enough that even losing is a win, certainly to collect millions as a youtube video maker is a big deal.   He would need over a billion views to collect that much pay just by making prank videos or whatever it is that gets him views, this avenue is alot easier.

I hope Floyd drags it out 15 rounds and beat him in every one until he can barely stand, that'd be the toughest way to earn it he'd get.  Whats more likely is the short round fight, Logan has a reach advantage I presume that is his one sole card to play and Im not sure he is practiced enough to do that.
4383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can't break out anymore. it's done. on: June 06, 2021, 02:03:33 AM
How are any of those more significant then China and India government.   Even then I dont care what stupidity either government has churned out to suppress their populations and I definitely wont care about ego driven ramblings, none of those factors are fundamental.  Speculative triggers up or down sure they can factor in day weeks months even but its arguable it would do so anyway.
BTC goes down as soon as people lose the fevered thread of believing it can pay off like a roulette wheel for them.   We have gambling in this space consistently, regular gamblers are sensible compared to wild hopes of those simply thinking you can buy BTC and profit blindly at any time.   Wait for a second and think about stacking up so many blind hopes what is this doing to price action, its lemmings or sheep and the dynamic while going up stalls, turns and goes down in a similar fashion; at some point we get a bargain situation as oversold & therein mirroring the froth.
4384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Chart - Is Bitcoin About to Break Down? on: June 06, 2021, 01:47:27 AM
The chart looks bearish. Bitcoin is staying below 200 DMA and has formed a triangle.

If the lower trendline is broken, bitcoin may crash.

What do you think guys?

The first support is around 28800 which is the 50 week MA.

I am unable to post images directly within the post. Sorry.
Triangle pattern is widely acknowledged seems like so a break is worth watching.

50 week average is the one I would think is likely to be a guideline for any down move, it probably rises from that area quite similar to how the previous low was.

End of the week is good time to look at weekly bars as the action is nearly complete in its final close.  I drew in some uptrend but the longer trend is down in that respect also recent volume favored negative action but over the course of the entire move its still positive and should recover after a good low is found.
If we look over the to the left there is a good reason why we rest in this area which is alot of closing lows here.  Present price is above most of these prices which I'd estimate about 33k.  Maybe a fair guess is that if we do lose 33k then it will push negatively until selling is resolved with equally matched buying and so speculative cycle reverses then.  Losing 33k does make me think we then further amount of time to decide on this 50 week average and if we need to explore prices in the 20's.    My take is to remain skeptical while looking for inevitable future positives, try not to jump the gun but it'll come.

So long as you leave it logged in consistent in that way I dont think it will matter too much
Indeed, sometimes messages/emails falls into trash or Spam that i almost believe there wasn't email sent but when i re checked all my existing emails then find out that 3 of the spins are there sitting.

Is it Gmail because the algorithms for that site might not especially respect a gamble website and the regularity of the emails.  I found it best to put in a filter which makes it high priority so its not filed away with maybe promotion or sales type emails, depends how you have setup the mailbox.   Google is generally useful but you have to instruct it specifically if you want to view this email straight away every day otherwise it'll get put bottom of the pile maybe missed within that 48hr window.
4386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can't break out anymore. it's done. on: June 04, 2021, 11:59:05 PM
Decentralized 10 years of blockchain integrity but defeated by one dude and his memes, fair enough.   Or it might be time as well as price is a fair weight to consider and we're likely going to need at least the same amount of months as we rose to revise prices and return upwards.   That's my take, people want instant rise and second time around through these prices its become unlikely and encumbered with various sellers who now wish to leave.

Daily view we are still showing weakness underneath the 200 day average which is only indicator and is still reflecting positive momentum but nearterm there is selling to deal with.  Perhaps we could speculate when the 50 day crosses the 200 or meets that will be enough time for price to rise again, people will be suitably gloomy at that point and it wil be a surprise.
Breaking 35k here would be significant, I think its likely to stay between the lines here till next week.   Price in revision shows less range quite likely.
4387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 04, 2021, 11:53:52 PM
Does seem unlikely to me, one chart I drew seemed to suggest 15k might be possible as an extreme and if you want a long term measure of what's possible look at 200 week average which is still in this area.   However that doesn't happen very often so I wouldn't even expect it this year while we're falling, it'd take more then this to go that low hence its not that likely.
To consistently fall is on balance as unlikely as those who think we will only go up, that too doesn't tend to happen continually.

4388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 04, 2021, 07:13:59 PM
I will bet 3 maps for OG vs VP  and amazing VP is now rank 9 but I think OG can hold them off for 1 map perhaps.   Copenhagen Flames vs Havu I would guess Havu but CF just won their map pick, if odds spike maybe look again.

Amazing match between EG and Heroic.     Great to watch hard to call and not an ideal bet besides 3 maps, Heroic did an amazing job here regardless of the result.   I will watch them more closely in future as a good upset team, they very nearly had this despite being not perfect the confidence they have to keep coming back and challenging for the win is not something every team can maintain some just collapse too easily on being upset when the victory slips or the rounds turn against them a team can turn on itself.  Not getting round wins and that immediate reinforcement in positive feedback can cause some players to react badly, Heroic deserve respect.

4389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 06:20:56 PM
Its not summer in the southern hemisphere, quit your small world thinking and you will quit tricking yourself into false conclusions based off near term moves.   Somehow BTC manages to be a large inertia moving asset, despite the fast moves in just these last months it really relies on long term factors resolving towards its gains.
The summer really doesnt matter that much, bigger factors are in play and Im more interested to read about those then the price and endless speculation.  Spectulators arent really what drive BTC, if they lose for the rest of the year then so be it and the damage is theirs to take same as the profits previous.

IEM Summer just started! Astralis - FPX are playing in Ancient

I love that a new map is in, that used to be a normal thing in CS that new maps came in.   As we originally had none or many not that suitable that was originally a large part of the game to learn new maps.   Dust2 I think should have been retired years ago but so long as someone likes it then its kept and all the major teams apparently prefer it to the alternatives but I like that the devs keep trying to find something better.
Anyhow I'll take Ancient as something of a wild card factor in betting, I havent yet seen any team has some definite advantage on it above their normal ranking from practice or any tactics but it can happen.  Im told it wont be in the next major but I actually think it might, would be good drops.
4391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of bitcoin is falling on: June 03, 2021, 11:47:41 PM
Technically its not especially falling on average, its still just a pullback within that larger positive movement.   We've gained alot still at this point so its just not continually gained without pause and thats more natural then straight up.

So right now we have rising 2 day average, we've exceeded the weekly average also.  The 200 day is still rising and 50 day is declining back to this pricing.   We'll have further challenges I think, there is overhead resistance, also I note a pattern of rising lows or higher lows.
4392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anybody else feel relieved this dip finally happened? on: June 02, 2021, 11:59:38 PM
A good pullback is like reinforcing the bottom of a ladder, its best down sooner rather then later as it does less damage.   We rose pretty rapidly, it wasnt a big call to foresee that 200 day average was quite a reasonable expectation and not even that bearish in terms of normal crypto action seen over many years now.   Without a doubt this is a volatile space, not for widows and orphans really but that doesnt invalidate this year or any previous pullback.

We resolved recently in moving averages to the upside so I'm waiting to see if that can build into a recovery and hold that momentum
4393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are YOU buying bitcoins? on: June 02, 2021, 11:33:53 PM
Thats just the power of hindsight, we've had similar in stocks for years especially anything tech related looks bad when you look back and werent bullish enough.   I wanted to buy MSFT early nineties, I was using that new thing windows seemed like a buy to me and I was literally a pauper but still many regrets.   Bigger still it was a recent buy and I knew as much, biggest take for me is we usually cycle up down but its never perfectly easy at that time.

I like the old threads, it adds perspective and shows how human nature just repeats continually and some will always divide between bullish and bearish but the reasoning is that counts most.  BTC has crashed, many times and recovered many times more I guess we got to handle thats normal.

Looking for oldest btc is dying post from proudhon

this one is pretty old.

One thing I was going to say was the ultimate bearish take, everything is dying on a long enough time line.   We going to get some giant solar storm hit us one day and fracture the protection we have like an EMP pulse it can reset alot of tech perhaps.   To have natural deflationary events is the norm, yet we carry on and somehow survive.   If anyone is only negative they are unbalanced in their view, to include both polar opposites I could salute that tbh.
4394  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high u rekon it'll go if Elon tweets right now that Tesla is accepting btc? on: June 02, 2021, 10:37:16 PM
Here is Elon tracking back some and saying BTC incentivizes renewable cheap power, which is quite easily true though it can also equate to cheap power hence the critic its related to coal.

msn.com/en-gb/money/other/bitcoin-bombshell-tesla-could-start-accepting-bitcoin-again-musk-in-talks-with-miners/ar-AAKAAX9?ocid=msedgntp

The main take away really is that news is the labelled stuck on a price and a set of graphs or price action after the fact, the reasons why we move are largely to do with momentum.   Like rain and a river, you can expect certain flow to occur and lately BTC slowed down some and a pullback is more likely alongside profit taking etc.

There is a fund for some time way before Musk bought that channels Bitcoin buys only from mining groups which have a provable energy source that is renewable, the concerns were never that new.  He could easily just arrange to have his BTC taken from this source and continued to encourage others to do similar.
4395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 01, 2021, 11:59:33 PM
Its in a range still and theres a small uptrend the last few days.   I doubt its that significant but if held it would presumably build higher but if broken possibly lead us back to lower boundaries of the range since 19th May

We've on the 2 day average with weekly matching the recent high, an attempt but ultimately we reversed back to this level.   Basically all 3 things are converging now, averages and this small uptrend and I presume we resolve a direction while sorting between them.
4396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 01, 2021, 11:32:44 PM
I think ChartBuddy hopes to raise the price single handed by this threads page count correlating to base price, add in that positive certainty and we certainly rise to far higher.    I seem to remember alot of fancy charts at the origins of the thread way back.   I was told by a trader not involved with crypto that volume considerations are irrelevant to BTC as it is traded in so many exchanges.   I did disagree with them on that but I think crypto is harder to call for reasons along those lines; in effect multiple confirmation is required for larger moves and we are likely to repeat ourselves.  Its also true stocks and other commodities can be traded multiple locations on differing prices and time zones, arbitrage usually keeps these things in line though.

There is a small positive trend over the last few days but mostly watching if price can leave range roughly kept since the low May 19th, lesser movement is just price wandering meantime.

This round lottery first prize:

Got two 5000 ticket wins on Wheel of Fortune last week.

Thats some pretty dam good luck.  I accumulated 4 of the 5000 lottery tickets wins in one week once, which alone is lucky but to then also get the actual lottery takes extra special luck.   That guy had a rainbow land at his house that week tbh, got some combo luck come his way.

We never heard back from the guy who saved up hundreds of wheel spins or was it a thousand.   I did have some not used but not much luck today and not had a Golden ticket to report but I get the 5000 reward on any of the 3 possibles all the time really, just not right now today sadly  Cry

Looks to me like the 35 to 40k area for May price bet is the winner, it developed into too much of a slow mo for much of a pay off.  Its the second most popular so not really the peak odds I was previously hoping for to occur.   To be fair I also have to wait for the extra time bonus added on as I think I had that one placed for a while for being so close to the 200 day average I always thought it was a good probability in outcome.
I already placed some on June bet as I think we can still move in surprising ways, the random factor is always does it occur for month end and will it be the unpopular choice that I'm really hoping for to maximize my odds and pay out return.    I think Im somewhere in the region of getting just my money back this time but thats my fault for betting too low, price didnt really break down its held steady and nobody is sure if thats bullish or not just yet.
4399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: May 31, 2021, 11:59:30 PM
I wouldnt abandon ship after we already sold such a large portion, a bit late unless you have far better uses then of course but arguably it was always a quick trade in that case and its hardly BTC fault that this particular month window or whatever didnt pan out for you.

I'd keep it simple here and we are either moving ready to get something like the 45k level again and challenge higher prices, test if we can resume the trend up previously seen which is still quite possible with ongoing weak dollar.   Or alternatively we break down with further weak hands and cash out occurring from those with short patience to wait any longer.    The greater the time we spend deciding the more I think we go back up to at least to confirm the sells were more then meme fallout and that the 200 day still rising is some ceiling or not.   We need to check the boundaries before any further greater negative but right now if we move it can still be downwards again to confirm that lower pricing is valid weak or strong.   Once confirmed in either direction it brings in more certainty from various speculators.
4400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] Gambling sites with internal exchange on: May 31, 2021, 11:55:37 PM
Great list, useful to have this flexibility hate the idea of losing chunks of cashout to fee spikes.    Does Freebitco qualify now as you can deposit BTC but withdraw their FUN token on the ETH blockchain to some exchanges.   Its only the one choice but I think its usually BTC fees that are mostly what people are trying to avoid being caught up in and once you are out on another exchange it can be switched to anything then.
