4381  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 02, 2019, 11:48:45 AM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time

You should give more information to us if you want a more precise way to make money.

Some information that would be useful is:
  • How much money you want to invest?
  • Do you want short-term or long-term profits?
  • Are you interested in investments outside the crypto industry?

These basic info may help us to propose you something.
4382  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to paypal new method on: April 02, 2019, 11:46:09 AM
Are you endorsing ExWallets exchanger? I made a quick search about this exchange and I found too many negative comments about the process. I will not risk my btc in such an exchange. I prefer to do a conversion with person to person. I feel safer that way.

too risky nowadays, to exchange person by person!
and if someone will be in front of you with a gun or knife?

LOL, it is usual to exchange person to person. Many merchants give this option to the localbitcoins as well.
You can arrange the meeting in a cafe where there are a lot of people if you are afraid.

I would be interested in seeing the video and exchange my bitcoins to paypal but it seems like a red flag to me.
4383  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BULL RUN 2019 on: April 02, 2019, 11:40:37 AM
Lol, does anyone really prepared for it? Bitcoin suddenly spike around 13% now so I'm sure that those who have said that they have accumulating is really doing it otherwise it will be too late as we are somewhat headed for the next bull-run. Grin

Well, take it easy mate. It is a huge pump I agree with that, but we need to see it sustain in the future.
An one-day pump doesn't bring the bull run in place. I think that there is still time to be prepared for the bull run, as it has not started yet, but this spike is a good sign for future decisions.
4384  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-28]North Korean “Lazarus” Hackers Attacking Crypto Companies on: April 02, 2019, 11:38:29 AM
NK is so poor that they are probably trying to make money this way. Crypto entrepreneurs are usually rich and like to tell the world about their profits on social media where they become a target for hackers. Years ago they even blackmailed Roger Ver.

NK is so poor that even 1 bitcoin is a fortune to them. They are dreaming of the days where they will no longer have to eat stew of rice and grass every day. Cheesy

It doesn't have to do with the living class that hackers are placed or the country they live.
There are many hackers that they reside all over the world, and some countries of them are very rich. Hackers will always search for breaches in the cryptocurrency industry because it is where the wealth is for them and they can make money from it.
4385  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-01] Making ATM Bitcoin Payments via Lightning Network Is Becoming a Rea on: April 02, 2019, 11:08:42 AM
Why do people want to add the lightning network to all of the Bitcoin transactions to become an alternative to the normal payment "on-chain"?
The Lightning Network is designed for daily transactions "micropayment channels," which are often in the range of 1-5 $  per transaction, so it is not appropriate to use them with ATMs where transactions are much more than that and the time is available to receive money.

The Lightning network is by far faster than making the transactions on-chain, and also It can help building ecosystems that will promote the mass adoption. For example ATM transactions fit the Lightning network because clients want to do the process fast. Then, we can go to the next step which is micropayment transactions.
4386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 02, 2019, 10:27:12 AM
@Naida_BR - I do have a feeling that Gendry is going to have a big part to play, but they are going to have to act fast if they are going to reveal more backstory and try and extend his character arc in the last 6 episodes!

I couldn't agree more.
My feeling is that a story has to be connected with this character otherwise there was no point in letting him alive for all these seasons.
But of course, if something has to do with him they should start plotting the story maybe even from the first episode of this last season in order to catch up the events.
4387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: April 02, 2019, 10:22:10 AM
I agree with this. But they should organize qualifications for these tournaments in some other way. This way there is too many matches with clear favorites. I liked the format of Nations league where they group the teams by their strength. That way we have greater amount of excellent matches.

That would go against the spirit of the games. Weak teams like Monaco and San Marino are given a chance to compete against sides such as Germany and France once every two years (for WCQ as well as for the EUCQ). These matches mean a lot for these teams. And upsets are not that rare during these qualification matches... I still remember the Cyprus vs Portugal match in 2010 (4-4).

Exactly, and we should not forget that football is commercialized in many parts.
When the groups are mixed with strong and weak teams there will be more interest in watching the games from all nations, while forming groups of only strong teams and weak teams will gather the interest of fans only in the groups with the strong teams
4388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 02, 2019, 10:16:00 AM
Arsenal going 3rd as it stands which will take them above their North London rivals Spurs in tge table. 20 mins to go - Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle.

Another goal from Lacazette has made it 2 - 0 for the gunners, and I think that's the 3 points and 3rd place secured!

It was about time for Arsenal to reach the 3rd position.
However, I don't believe that they are going to finish 3rd. The 4th position is theirs all these years and I believe that this season will end up the same way. With yesterday's win they just made a step towards 4th position!
4389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why we shouldnt panic sell on: April 02, 2019, 09:45:13 AM
Οn the contrary of the panic selling, there are the strong panic buyers who are afraid of missing out the train and they buy at such higher prices than they could do from the beginning.
I guess that this target group don't bother us so we would not give them too much attention Grin
4390  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: April 02, 2019, 09:42:40 AM
Today is a good day to spend sometime in the CoinmarketCap page.
If we keep at this upward trend when we can say that we have entered the bull market. I am kinda realistic and I don't fly at the skies till to see a continuous increase in the cryptocurrency market cap.
4391  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: April 01, 2019, 07:08:06 PM
Actually I think the bull race will start in 2020 at the earliest. But recently the Bitcoin price has a serious upside potential after $4,300, and I'm buying it to take advantage of this upward opportunity. It's not a advice,  because If Bitcoin's price drops, I can wait for a long time.

You seem to be very optimistic as for the bull run.
We are already reaching the half of this year and the market is so stagnant that I don't expect any bull run this year. The same goes for 2020. We need to be patient to see some real growth in the mass adoption part and see a bull run.
4392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 01, 2019, 03:06:55 PM
Can we talk about how Arsenal have the chance to reach 3rd place today!? I think the last time they were so close to the top was in 2016, when  they finished 2nd and Leicester won the league.

At the start of the season, I thought Emery was going to have a hard time trying to get the team in the top 4, I thought they were going to enter the race for the europa league spots and that was it...Now, here they are, in the fight for 3rd place, who would've thought?

It is very possible that they will grab the 3rd place today.
Newcastle is a difficult rival and can cause trouble to the gunners but still Arsenal has the bigger chances to win. Emery hasn't shown to me good management skills and I am scared that he is going to leave the club soon.
4393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: April 01, 2019, 11:56:05 AM
This time I'll go for Pacquiao he is on the second wind of his career, won on his recent matches from tough opponents, I think Pacquiao will only go for Mayweather because he is about to retire and there's not enough match left for him.

These boxing games are not to be bet in my opinion.
Both sides would have agreed a priori who is going to win the match and they will one target to get money from this event. I think that the same happened with McGregor all these years and let him make a fortune.
4394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin In 2030 on: April 01, 2019, 10:53:23 AM
It's too far to predict btc position in 2030. But I think there will be many things happen with BTC from now on till 2030. And I think supply will caped if BTC still survives.

It is a huge time period to talk about it. Many people would think that the price is going to be so high that we would never imagine. This could be a scenario. However, on the other side, there is a possibility for cryptocurrencies to be vanished if governments decide that acquiring bitcoin is illegal and every holder should be sued for that.
4395  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC might do something nice soon. TA only ( No crystal Ball/s) on: April 01, 2019, 10:51:04 AM
Someone is collecting huge amount of btc before the bounce that were all waiting for will finally begin. For the past weeks bitcoin has been stable at 4000$, which is a good sign that bitcoin is ready for the take off.

I think that someone has a reason to keep the price at 4k for such a long time.
Maybe it is a strategy to accumulate more bitcoins before the long bull run start. It makes me suspicious to see the price dropping immeidiately every time we have a considerable increase following a big red candle.
4396  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: April 01, 2019, 10:30:46 AM
Like many people I suggest focusing in bitcoins. If you are adamant to have a more diverse portfolio, split your capital. Half goes to "stable" coins like BTC and ETC and the rest goes to the "hot" coins, the sort everyone will likely forget within a year.

At least even if some of the latter fails, you'd still have bets in the more long-term coins. Wouldn't want all to just vanish, right?

Ι am trying to understand how you define "stable" coins.
Stable coins are Tether, USD Coin etc. that are pegged at 1:1 dollar support. Bitcoin and Ethereum Classic are not stable coins and they can give you good profits if you invest in them.
4397  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining vs Masternodes - How do they compare? on: April 01, 2019, 09:42:14 AM
I think that if you want to run a masternode you need more money to set it up.
This may be the reason why people still prefer the traditional mining process instead of masternodes. Also, in my eyes masternodes promote a centralized model of the crypto ecosystem.

4399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 01, 2019, 08:57:12 AM
Atletico Madrid is buttering Alaves in their own yard.
4-0 so far with the game already in stoppage time. Atletico trying to tighten the second spot away from their city rival Real Madrid.

That was a huge performance from Atletico and with this performance they seem that they will not lose the second position in the league table from the Real. Alaves is a weak team and I couldn't expect that they can pressure Atletico.
4400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 01, 2019, 08:29:16 AM
Liverpool won over Tottenham, I think they still have a great chance to win the league this season. man.city could be more focused on UCL and eventually ignored competition in the domestic league, given their chances of winning a bigger league.

I couldn't expect that Liverpool is going to win this match. I mostly expected a tie.
Liverpool shows that they are a strong team that they will fight for the title till the end. I hope that we will have a clash between those two teams till the end of the Premier League with the best team winning the title.
