4381  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal for making these threads sticky in "Beginners & Help" section. on: September 17, 2020, 06:59:35 PM
The sticky thread should reduce more by merged a few threads together. If the sticky threads list becomes more longer then what will be much different from the general topics? Newbies will never bother to read (usually they do not read though). Some important old threads would merge together and should add some latest thread as well. For example I will prefer to sticky this [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk Index thread. But have doubts if newbies read it.
4382  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] AjuBit.com - "World's First Informative Cryptocurrency Exchange" on: September 17, 2020, 04:57:41 PM
The overall idea is good and unique seems to me. Especially speed meter and live rates from other exchanges. I haven't seen these features in other exchanges if I am not missing something. I have seen some users using third-party apps to see live rates from other exchanges during trading. So, for them, this exchange would be helpful IMO.

Just a friendly suggestion, the traders need quick withdrawal with lower fees, and quick support when they have problems. So, you may support the SegWit address (deposit & withdrawal) to reduce both party fees.

Best of luck with your exchange.
4383  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Swerve Finance phishing sites on: September 17, 2020, 02:18:03 PM
Just now I had tried to search and seem till now phishing website is appearing on Google. This is an advertisement and that's the reason why we shouldn't trust Google ads anymore especially if it's crypto-related. I heard Google stopped crypto-related ads but how are these ads appearing on Google? Or am I missing something? Scammers are become more active nowadays due to the DeFi hype. They are taking advantage of the DeFi scheme. Anyway, I have reported this ad, don't know when Google will review that and take down the phishing site.
4384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 16, 2020, 02:59:02 PM
The fee wouldn't much higher, because it would discourage bitcoin users to use bitcoin. There should be some solution either like LN or reduce miners. All the rewards now spreading around all the miners. So when miners will leave mining slowly then reward will increase slowly as well. So it wouldn't necessary to increase transaction fees which would drive a negative impact on the whole bitcoin community.
4385  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: September 16, 2020, 02:45:10 PM
We don't know really what will happen when an effective vaccine will discover. Because during the pandemic we thought bitcoin would dump hugely. But it happened reverse trend, although it was dumped for a while, but overall bitcoin has shown a strong resistance. So the same thing would happen, most of us wondering bitcoin would dump but it would reverse as well. When a COVID-19 will spread around the world then people's mentality will be more stronger. Probably they would invest in real life, so if it happens then bitcoin would dump. Otherwise, it would bump at the same time as global economies.
4386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello from a newbie on: September 16, 2020, 02:13:37 PM
Welcome to the forum, you are in the right place if you really want to learn more about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I will prefer to read this before you start a discussion on the forum, here is it - [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread . Here you will find all the important threads you need. Please read to know about the forum and crypto as well. Don't forget to read the forum rules deeply.

Furthermore, I will suggest using the forum search button before you raise a question-related anything. So you might get related answers from search. If you do not find your appropriate answers from the search, then its fine to create a new thread related to your question. That's how we would avoid unnecessary spams from the forum.

Have a great journey with the forum.
4387  Economy / Reputation / Re: Neg tag for opinion about laws. JohhnyUA's trust on: September 16, 2020, 01:50:06 PM
Negative feedback doesn't fit for this reason. I have read the references thread linked to the feedback. My government doesn't allow me to use Bitcoin, but still, I am using it. So basically I am working against the government rules of my country. So if I say it verbally here that I don't care government rules about bitcoin then should I get negative feedback? It's pretty clear the reference links was about bitcoin and explaining about an example regarding tax that earning from bitcoin.

I think bob123 should reconsider his feedback, at least should be turned into neutral, and it would be the best solution. I don't know JohhnyUA very well, but a person should be untrusted on the forum just for leaving opinion about a county's rules
4388  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'd love to respond to Bitcoin SV's nonsense, but.... on: September 16, 2020, 05:29:15 AM
I seriously doubt the mental stability of the owner.
No doubts, I am pretty sure he is mentally sick. Otherwise how a person could make a false claim again and again since he knows that he is lying.

It seems to me Bitcoin SV just promoting shitcoin by creating multiple posts against forum users. Creating a self-moderating thread means he will delete other's posts after bump threads. Bitcoin SV's behavior is really aggressive rather than convince the community why shouldn't call them scammer.
4389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaways+ phishing on: September 15, 2020, 06:23:17 PM
Elon's name has become most popular nowadays to scam by a fake giveaway. Perhaps even Elon doesn't know that soo many scam happenings by using his name, I think he doesn't have enough time to read such as shady story. Just a few days back I have found two websites that are promoting fake giveaway by using Elon's name.

It's better to expose then as soon as we found, so other users can avoid such as fake giveaway. Doesn't matter if they aren't promoting on the forum, at least we can save some of our forum users by exposing them. It seems they have been using same templates by changing domain names. Just keep exposing fake giveaway scammers.
4390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Securypto need buy before IEO ? on: September 15, 2020, 03:43:01 PM
It seems this project's announcement thread has created in November 2018. Actually, ICO selling going on their website but they are mentioning IEO sell (LOL). The exchange they have chosen for IEO just heard the name first time. I don't think this is a potential project. For me, even I won't buy this token from IEO as well. At least they should choose a reputed exchange to launch their IEO. My personal thought is that any well known reputed exchange will never launch such as IEO.

The project isn't worthy of initial investments. Most probably it will dump after listing on the exchange even they do not skip with the funds. Better do not buy this and choose some other potential projects if definitely you want to invest in IEO. They are raising funds before IEO simply means they do not have enough balance to list for IEO even on a low volume exchange.

4392  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: lost secondary password and some of Wallet Recovery Phrases lost too. on: September 14, 2020, 05:58:47 PM
I am pretty sure you will be able to recover your funds by following what @NotATether said. Just make sure you are downloading files from the original and trusted source. You may watch this video tutorial to see how should you work to recover your seeds first. These two tutorials would be helpful to you.
1. Recover your 12 words backup phrase with btcrecover seedrecover.
2. Brute-force your online Blockchain wallet with btcrecover.

Perhaps the scammer would send you a PM to recover your wallet. Just avoid unsolicited PMs to avoid loss of your funds. If anyone wants to help you personally, just ask them to come on this thread or you may ask here is someone sends you a PM. So we can see if the person is trusted or scammer.

4393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Perfect Money safe to store big money or not ? on: September 14, 2020, 05:21:09 PM
Internet centralized wallets are riskier than a centralized bank in your country. They would block your account for any reason. I had been used the Perfect money wallet for a long time previously. Lately, I am only involved with crypto and not using Perfect money. But before few days noticed a user's account has blocked. So he can't move the funds to another account. Rather than store a big amount on Perfect money it's better to store fiat into the bank.

Store USD also quite risky, they could even freeze your address. Only a safe way to store huge funds with Bitcoin. As some other users already said, just buy a hardware wallet and store your fund for a long time. Doesn't matter what is the amount.
4394  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web wallet that support alt coins must include bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold. on: September 14, 2020, 02:58:46 PM
I think OP has misunderstood about cold/hardware wallet. Storing your funds on a web wallet for a long time isn't safe at any cost. Hackers even can bypass 2FA authentication. Doesn't matter its Google or provided by mobile operators. You may read this article, 5 ways attackers can bypass two-factor authentication.

You don't need a high-speed internet for a hardware wallet, you may use it even normal speed the same as a web wallet. So speed doesn't matter if you can afford to buy it.
4395  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 'elon-space' Fake Giveaway. on: September 14, 2020, 02:03:44 PM
Another fake giveaway website, they just change the domain name other everything the same as before.
Code:
https://elon-space.co/

Scammers using reputed person name to scam crypto users. We can stay safe by leaving greedy behavior. Sending funds to them means lost your fund for forever.

4396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The First Bitcoin Robo Advisor - Now Available Online for Free on: September 14, 2020, 08:17:19 AM
Pretty simple, you just create an algorithm, and Robo will answer based on selected points. Not interesting to me, I have tried it and the Robo recommend to do not invest in Bitcoin right now. Robo is always Robo, it couldn't take a real-time decision like a human. So for some sectors, I am not a fan or Robo or bots. Perhaps its useful in some sector and we need to use to easier our works depends on the sector.

Anyway good initiative.
4397  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for PayPal through P2P sites on: September 14, 2020, 05:19:26 AM
You know very well the risk involves with PayPal transactions. It seems the seller has a good rating, I don't know about that site you have shown the screenshot. I am wondering why you don't choose the forum to buy PayPal? Sometimes I have seen few trusted members have been selling their PayPal for Bitcoin. There is a very very low chance of a chargeback. Otherwise, you have to take the risk of the minimum amount.

More better if you can find PayPal seller nearby you or from your country at least. So at least you may ask if chargeback happens.
4398  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [DeFi SCAM] XCredit.Finance - Fake team, cartoon images on: September 13, 2020, 05:37:40 PM
Why are scammers too stupid now? The trend of ake team and cartoon team has been over. Is really a need to reveal the team for a decentralized platform? I don't think so, using fake or cartoon team doesn't prove they are legit. They just trying to make fool their investors. Scammers don't know a legit project would even with a revealed team picture. Not using an image for a team means investors are aware of it and they could decide that its potential or not. Using cartoon or fake image an immediate red flag for me and I believe everyone should avoid such as the project. Stay away guys, save your money.
4399  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Motrade Finance - Ponzi Scheme on: September 13, 2020, 04:53:30 PM
Lots of Ponzi schemes have been exposing to the forum. So, forum users, those are unaware of the Ponzi scheme they should learn. Only doubts about obvious newbies, perhaps they would fall into this trap since they are promoting on the forum. Definitely, this is another scam scheme and everyone should stay away from this scheme. 170% after 14 days is really unrealistic return, I can't trust them with any penny.

Tagged and support flags.
