4381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 08, 2020, 05:34:21 PM
For me, it is okay to book small profits unless otherwise that small profit is enough to cover my exchange fee because the opportunities are getting in other cryptos are really unlimited; moreover I do not have time to bother about whether it is small or big profits as I will start looking for next trade once I book profits. I guess traders who trade based on technical analysis will not worry about small or big profits as their technical signal will indicate where to exit then traders need to react for that. So, no room for them to concern about small profits whenever they need to book.

Only when you trade based on your intuitions then you may bother about what will happen or if I wait more, will there be more profits or anything like that. I do not trade based on my emotions and inner thoughts hence I never need to have any hesitations on when to book and when to hold.
4382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto signals - any successful cases? Advices? on: July 07, 2020, 09:32:32 PM
Basically the subjects brings whole idea. Would you trust / use signals to trade? What is really useful in trading according to your opinion?
Making use of signals in trading, you should have a second thought about that. I don’t like these groups. I don’t know for other people, maybe it works for them. There are only few crypto trading signal groups that will actually be legit and it may be hard for you to find them, because the fake ones are littered everywhere and they are what you’re likely to come across.

There are free signal groups, and what I hate about these ones is that they just throw out signals without giving it a thought. Lol Maybe I shouldn’t blame them, it’s something they are doing for free, since they not being paid for it, they will just do whatever they want to do.
4383  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 07, 2020, 08:21:02 PM
Btw, why Stake team has no interest to cooperate with live dealer providers for better user experience?
I guess they want to maintain their list of games being provably fair.  It's easy for them to get a third party provider and get more games but it's better if they slowly release their own games as they'll be known for the uniqueness of their games instead of having several games that could be seen on tons of casinos.
You are right but on a funny side I would like to know how fair and genuine those table tennis matches are on which I bet a lot but always seem like the underdog has the better chance of winning actually 8 out of 10 times. Anyways jokes apart, I heard that stake has big plans as they also mentioned in their monthly bonus email so maybe they are working on something and maybe live dealer games are coming soon while a least they confirmed a new slots is coming too.

I would actually like to see some live dealer roulette at the least because it can't be cheated (some card games can be cheated in live dealer as you might find some funny videos on youtube).
4384  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 07, 2020, 04:52:19 PM
Anyway, I don't think even 100 people are really playing. Judging from the ones who actively post here, about 10 or so actively play, maybe another 90 who don't post here but who have no idea how to pick so pick anyone. It's like those free Survivor games for NFL. OR free draft picks. I can't be arsed to learn the game so I either don't play them or I make random picks that I'm sure people who know the game would laugh at.
In any case, could we just agree that its quite difficult to get it right but since we do not know how many people play, we can't estimate how many times it should have been won?

I mean sure there are variance like you said, the people who got 1/100 thing on first try and on 5000th try both exists but at least we could say that if there are 100 people that tries a week has a lower chance than 100000 people trying per week. That is just statistics. And all of this started out with a discussion about how "wonder how many people play because one person at least should have won already even if its a low chance to hit if there are enough chances given to a lot of people" and that has absolutely no foul idea in there.
4385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin solve more problems than it creates? on: July 07, 2020, 07:58:13 AM
First of all, the way I see Bitcoin it’s not something that everyone must use. No one is really forcing anybody into it, if you want to make use of it it’s up to you. As for being volatile, that’s not a problem, it’s an asset that we are all investing in and the price is meant to fluctuate. You’re already being told that you shouldn’t invest in Bitcoin or any other volatile crypto asset what you can’t afford to risk, so this one is no longer a problem.

As for your second problem, I don’t see what’s difficult in obtaining Bitcoin, you can make use of legit exchanges to buy Bitcoin, we have Binance, Coinbase, and even BitPay, Luno, and Blockchain wallet, they all now allow users to buy Bitcoin. That one is not even problem. Then number three, I don’t see how you’re sending to a wrong address when what you do is to copy the address and click send. Most of the things you have stated is not a problem for many people.
4386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN TRUST PROBLEMS: Bitcoin Investers will want to know about this risk... on: July 06, 2020, 09:03:52 PM
Before anyone becomes a believer of Bitcoin, they must have passed that level you described as a Bitcoin investor.
When you invest in Bitcoin, knowing the risks is the next thing. It doesn’t take long before you realize that the price of Bitcoin fluctuates.

So, for you to say that anyone that is Bitcoin believer is a fool is not making any sense.. They already understand what they are into and its up to them on whether they want to believe in it or not.. And we all can’t believe in the same thing, that other people believe in BTC doesn’t mean that you too have to believe in it.. Let them believe what they want.

~snip~
The odds are semi-correct, obviously when you put "all players have equal chances" and remove certain players like defense or defensive midfielder you are both shooting yourself in the leg with the calculation of "all players have equal chances" but also you are removing players at the same time. Don't we know that VVD scores time to time, look at ramos in La Liga dude is one of the top scorers.

So, all I was saying is that strikers have a higher chance, so when you play on the player that scored once every 2 games on average, that should have a higher chance to hit than having a midfielder to score, doesn't mean it is always like that, a midfielder could have a hat trick while striker has zero in any game depending on luck, but I was talking about the luck and the statistics of how that could happen.

Sorry if you thought I was picking a fight, it seems my attempts at humour on this forum are often miscontrued as antagonist!
Never need to be sorry mate! Text is something quite hard to convey the sense of humor, I am sure you are normally funny and it was me who didn't get it via texts.

I like the design you used for this promotion. This is nostalgic, the dog duck hunt game during the child days.
Good luck to the people that will participate this ETH number hunting.

any reason why they use this image for promotion but yeah it brings back so much memories as im addicted on that game too using a gun controller  .

first thing that come to my mind is doge coin because of the dog on the duck hunt game but i see on  the writings that they reward eth ,  isnt that contradicting .
I think using a dog doesn't always mean dogecoin, at the end of the day it was a bit or retro type of picture and not really something you should take literally. That game was something we all have in common if you are in my age, we played that game a ton, remembering the dog laughing at you is quite funny too, I remember even my father played it a bit with me as well, which is probably the only time when 60+ years olds of today ever played a game, it was the arcade game place periods when they were around late 30's or early 40's and we finally convinced them that instead of spending money on arcade every day, we should buy a game console at home for just one time and that way we could even save money Cheesy. As you can see from just one picture that worths that much to us, we could make a ton of connection to old times.
4389  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 03, 2020, 06:07:36 PM
The topic's been discussed to death, to be honest. The bookies and statisticians and odd makers are professionals at their jobs, so they've obviously done the math. And even if we take the most prolific strikers of all the teams, and use the goalscorer any time odds and multiply it by 7, then you can understand it's a longshot. Salah and Kane at their peak will have about 1.8 odds. So even if both Kane and Salah are in picks, you then have others with 2.5 and more.

So let's just assume we get the best: 1.8*1.8*2.5*2.5*2.5*2.5*2.5, then each of us has 316/1 chance to hit it all.

And I bet you, we don't go for the best picks in each team;) I like to mix it up a bit too.
You are confusing me buwaytrees Cheesy. First you say it has been talked to death, and then you come out and tell me that there is 316/1 to chance to hit it. Now if you do not mind I would like to respond to that as well. What I was trying to say that, even a 9999x hit happens in dice games, we have seen them right? So, when it is 316 to one, you think someone would get it.

I have no idea how many people get to try it each week, maybe it is 10 or maybe it is 10000 I have no idea, which is why I said if there was plenty of people that play it, there would be at least one person who gets it.

For something that is 316 to 1 with over a thousand people playing for over 40 weeks (last season's end was in there as well I think) I would have assumed it is a lot to actually get someone to figure it out eventually. Or maybe there is a winner and we just don't know, who knows?
4390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 03, 2020, 04:02:17 PM
Since Bitcoin is purely a speculative risk asset, many people have doubted its position as a purported safe-haven asset, I am not one of them anyways. However, since Bitcoin hasn't witnessed a global recession yet, I feel Bitcoin hasn't sufficiently defended its narrative as a safe-haven asset.

As the possibility of a global recession intensifies, what's your take on the possible performance of Bitcoin? will it go down with the traditional market or will it defend its name? I am very much interested to know.
Is there any asset that didn't fall during the pandemic? Every asset or stocks I know all decreased in price when the pandemic started. Gold is the only asset that seemed to be strong at first and even before the pandemic started, when there was oil war, the price kept going up but after some time it fell. People do say that gold is a safe haven, so with what happened, are you still going to say that gold is a safe haven?

Bitcoin was on a movement that seemed like a bull run, but took a deep when the pandemic started. Despite that, it still recovered quickly within a short time, that's what matters the most. And besides, the drop even gave us the opportunity to buy BTC at a cheaper rate.
4391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: July 01, 2020, 08:07:05 PM
That first point though; not every time that you see a lot of people are buying the coin means that there is a FOMO/FUD.
There are even times that a coin will fall, and when you check you will notice that there are still many people buying that coin than there are those selling it.

In a way, you might be right about this, but not hundred percent. And moreover there are time you will even FOMO and still make huge profit, you took the risk and you’re lucky. And as for the second point you have made which is similar to the other two; our mind speaks to us at all times, so it can tell you anything at any time.
4392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 01, 2020, 07:10:31 PM
I can't believe Serie A got lockdown so much earlier than other leagues but to be honest they had one of the worst situations with it as well whereas bundesliga came back quicker than anyone because their situation wasn't that bad. Juventus is 100% champions, there is no way they would lose that much points while Lazio gaining it, Ik now plenty of points left but honestly its not that good looking for Lazio ahead, they are not good enough to cover that difference at all.

But, the fact that they will be going to champions league easily and having a lot more money next year while also playing on Europe highest stage and get more recognition and get more players, they could make this into an habit and try next year and maybe get lucky much better next season and become champions.
4393  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 01, 2020, 11:45:21 AM
Like RHavar said, it will take a bit and I wouldnt check my stats daily. It will drive you crazy and make you worry! I speak from experience  Wink

Just invest, dont forget about it and check every couple of weeks.
You should be in this for the long run
I would say there is a change in wagering numbers time to time as well, like for example pandemic usually saw digital casinos a lot more wagering than normal, or maybe it is vacation time now and there are less people gambling, there is really not a single method to know what the wagering will be let alone what the variance will be. Only after you figure out what the wagering in the next 2 months will be like you can start to calculate which you can't, but lets say you managed to find the wagering numbers, you would still need to consider ups and downs as well in the winning/losing of the gamblers.

So, I would say best way to invest is to put it there for a year and forget about it, you want longer? Perfect, you want shorter? It is risky. Hence why RHavar is right about putting in there for months/years.
4394  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 01, 2020, 09:47:06 AM
Alright, no need to pay attention to that accusation as there is not enough evidence yet that Roobet has scammed him. As of now, I have not yet to read a case that Roobet can claim to be a scam. Anyway, to me, that would only depend on a gambler if he relies heavily on a casino. But of course, it is not uncommon for others to think about the risks of such platforms based on past of other casinos. Maybe just avoid comparing it to an old casino because they are not the same. This does not mean that other casinos have become scams and it will be scams as well.
Yes obviously; there will be accusations towards any and all casinos, it is in the nature of things, people lose money and when they lose money they blame everyone but themselves, normally they should be winning a lot and becoming billionaires but they must have been cheated on a house edge provably fair situation to lose it all otherwise they wouldn't.

Yah,  his acting like a teenager who hangs around alot in twitch.
Now why you gotta bring twitch into this Cheesy. I like twitch and I am on the older side of things, I just do not have both the money (being a married old dude keeps you from spending too much on games) and the time to play a game, whereas watching someone do it for me instead is quicker (live but if not you can watch past broadcasts) and connecting with other people who like the same things is fun if you are not in a 10k+ channel but a 100 view channel.
4395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: July 01, 2020, 05:15:50 AM
Yes you’re making a good point here. I have seen few gold-backed coins. I don’t trust any of them, there is no way that they are proving that their project is really backed by cryptocurrencies, and none of them has any affiliation with any of these gold companies that you have mentioned, or any that I know of.

So, they are just scammers pretending to be what they are not. That’s why I will always prefer to buy cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and the old cryptocurrencies that has been around for long and trusted, than going for any of these new tokens that doesn’t make any sense. If I’m interested in gold I buy them direct from a company that is into that Business, and the one I use is Goldmoney; started with BitGold and was moved to Goldmoney platform after they merged.
4396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One good turn deserves another 👈 Scammers way on: July 01, 2020, 04:34:51 AM
As things progress and new technologies pop up, there will always be new styles that scammers will be using.
We have to be careful and try to be up to date with things that are happening, not just in cryptocurrency, but in other markets that are similar to it.

Scammers never stop, they see it as their business and they keep doing it. They don’t just create one project, they create many of their scam projects and keep trying their luck on people that will fall for it. They continue doing this until they are caught by the government/law enforcement. And even when they get caught, there are still other scammers/hackers out there to continue from where they stopped.
4397  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! 🎲 DICE with the best autobet mode🥇 on: June 30, 2020, 08:31:25 PM
List of suggestions for wolf.bet:
-Add feature share in chat session stats
-Change sound on autobet stop for more loud
-Add option to enable desktop notification for autobet stop
-Improve speed of rain and tip sending
-Decrease minimal rain on ETH, should be 0.001 as BCH, these 2 coins have similar price
-Show last 10 cards in hilo
There is a ton of stuff that people would want to get added but do not forget that developing something is not an easy task, so it would take a lot of money and also time for developers to finish even the simplest features. You know why it is so hard? Features usually themselves do not take that long, and implementing them do not take that long neither, what takes time is putting them in without disturbing everyone and making the website go ballistic for a while.

If you try to do it in haste, you will end up losing a lot more than you imagine and it would hurt you a lot in the end. So, wolf.bet will probably improve a lot in the future, but just give them sometime and after a while they will certainly have everything you ever wanted, just not very quickly and in a month, may take some time.

Another hard week at the majestic 7, I think it is not going to be that easy to actually get 7/7 but I really didn't think it would be this difficult, like I get it maybe I am bad at it and there is really no way to know if I am bad at it or good it at so far because I have lost all the time but so did everyone else.

However what is a shocker to me is, how did nobody every figured out one 7/7 in all of these weeks. I do not have the numbers of how many people play this majestic 7, maybe less people do so since we restarted but at the same time I keep having this difficulty to believe that probably tens of thousands of people trying to guess 7/7 every week, and nobody has won it. It is a big marvel that it never happened, or maybe there aren't as many people trying to guess as I imagined.
4399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 29, 2020, 09:16:12 PM
India has the potential to take this technology to the Moon, just based on their population density, but their politicians are very sketchy to say the least. India are one of the countries with the highest corruption statistics in the world, so getting them to play ball.. would be next to impossible.
The population alone cannot help the bitcoin and crrypto adoption because the literacy rate is low and education system is very weak in India. The government is so confused that they ban bitcoins without a proper reason initially and their courts had to lift ban and it took a few years I believe thanks to the guys like unocoin and others who filed cases against that government decision.

I believe India would always be a good spot for crypto because like you mentioned India has the highest corruption rate and while I am not sure that is true but surely in countries where the corruption rate is high they are more cautious when allowing bitcoins and such methods because once approved it can cause mayhem given the crime rate and the nature of bitcoins.
4400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: June 29, 2020, 08:23:23 PM
If you generate private key from risky sources, chance of your wallet being hacked is high. For example, if you generate private key through bitaddress online, hacker may get access your private key. It is better to use offline method to generate that. There are a lot of ways to be saved. Using offline wallet/ hardware wallet are best.
Yes and if you are not much knowledgeable about these things then it is best to just use a wallet like coinbase because at least it gives more security and chances are much lower of coinbase turning scam than the chances are that you would fall victim to a scammer in hope of securing a private key yourself. So yeah either generate it offline if you know at least the basics and if you don't just go for a respect wallet provider.

I believe phishing is the largest thread that exist in crypto because it is just too easy to grab email addresses from any airdrop website and then use it to inbox users with suspicious links and steal their information so I strongly agree with the 4th point that OP mentioned because as long as you don't use your primary email for airdrops, ICOs, etc you will be safe from those attempts and no matter how smart you feel you are, if someone tries to hack you 1 million times you are gonna fall to it most probably.
