4381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam on: June 21, 2020, 11:59:17 PM
90% scam! If you become a bounty hunter, you must have extraordinary patience, if not you might give up,
there are members who answer it, hopefully the bounty will be even better
Patience is the main key to becoming a successful bounty hunter, because there are so many bounties that delay sending coins from the bounty hunter, some even delay continuously, for example like their blockburn 3 months have passed they add another 3 months distribution duration,

You cant blame out people for them to lose hope when delays do happen. They do already presume out that they have been scammed(which had always been the case).
When it comes to listing thing then this one would really be a long one yet new projects do pops out on everyday basis and does still continue up to these years which is unbelievable
even people are already aware on this stuff but there are ones who do continous to support scams.
4382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: June 21, 2020, 11:13:25 PM
We all know how dangerous and harmful covid-19 is but blockchain project is something that be done or work on in your home, no office is needed to build projects, its all done online so team can stay at home and continue their development
Even though the work is done at home, there are still some projects that make cov-19 a reason, even in the distribution of bounties as well, I follow 2 bounties and their reasons are the same, because of cov-19, distribution is delayed until an uncertain time

Valid reason or not! there nothing we can do about it when the project team will really announce that kind of reasoning. We do end up on holding into our position

yet we know on how this pandemic badly affect all of industries.I cant say that much about in crypto ICO thing but if we do think on how things being set up which
mostly on online aspect then there's should really be no or only slight effect at all.
4383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think is the right time to buy BNB now? on: June 21, 2020, 10:22:53 PM
BNB is good to purchase now,its potentially increases daily and the native token of the world number one decentralized crypto exchange. Check it out, excellent.  But will advised you man,  if it's for long term run, it's perfect time to get altcoin, but would be bad if you need quick money man.  Just my thoughts about it.
l agree with your words, l think also so that it is the best time to collect some altcoins, which are top altcoins like BNB. But as you above said BNB is not good choice for short-term investing. In my humble estimation BNB is the best for long-term investing, however if you can be enough patient, you should choose BNB. On the other hand if you make it for quick money, it is not possible to get any profit.
Long term and Short term targets would be entirely different and also we cant be sure if BNB would be still in top in next years to come so its still risky for those who do go all in.
Its not suggested as everyone knows in talks of investment risk.If we do saw that BNB does still have the potential for long term gains then its up to ours if we can risk up
to throw up some money or would just focus into other alts as well. The intensity of profitability will really be depending into your goals or target and since people do have different
plans then this will surely differ.
4384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade Bitcoin Bear Trap or Reversal on: June 21, 2020, 09:20:32 PM
Why not instead of giving us out side link, you tell us the 'secret sauce'? It's pretty obvious that you are trying to promote something here in this community, and usually members doesn't like this kind of shady method. The best advise is just simply buy low, sell high, no need to make things complicated in trading cryptocurrencies.
It is obvious that they are indirectly promoting their own service and website through this post, looks like they offer crypto trading training service which is paid and they want to market that here.
Regarding your comment of buy low sell high, yes it works for longterm only and perhaps suits largely to btc trading as btc is considered to move in market cycles like one bullish wave and then one bearish wave but these waves can last multiple years, so yes if you buy from bear cycle and sell during bull cycle you can make decent profit but a lot of patience is required to do it and it is more like hodler strategy not active trading.

You are definitely right and this isnt something new into this forum where indirect advertisements do happen with having an opening which do primarily shows up some talk engagement
but literally it is just trying out to promote the service that they are offering.

Talking about about trading then we do know that it can be classified in two regions neither an active one or a swing/trend/hold kind of trading.Buy low and sell high sounds pretty basic
but doing the actual thing wont really be that simple consider that there are lots of factors that will surely affect your trading decisions along the way.

In talks about bear trap or reversal then this had been the question of most traders specially we are dealing with a very unpredictable market.
4385  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Officially Announces New Features and Benefits for Users on: June 21, 2020, 08:23:40 PM
Finally they do something for users, but I am asking myself why it took so much time? They are loosing the position of the biggest exchange for 2 years and after they lost almost everything they invent new referral progra.?

Very well pointed out.
They are so late they've basically lost the race. When people talk about altcoin exchange today,, they talk about Binance.
A couple of years ago there was quite a race between Bittrex and Poloniex (imho). Now they're both history.
And this is unfortunate, since Binance centralization is clearly not the best way to go forward. But traders go by the liquidity and.. yeah...  Undecided

I would say up the same thing where such changes or updates is already too late but hey, we wouldnt know if those previous Bittrex users would consider this one out again
or would just stick on where they are now which do mostly talks in Binance. They have lost the opportunity for them to get big yet they do able to get that kind of recognition
back in the past where they are one of the top ranking exchangers but they do lost up that momentum and lost their position as well. Its still possible to cling up though
but beating Binance is almost impossible.
4386  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: June 19, 2020, 06:43:38 AM
The sage has finally arrived at the point where yobit is going to screw all the shitposters, paying them pennies but still real money was too much.
Got this email from them in the morning:

So, the posters will be paid in a token created by yobit and they will not be able to cash it out till September  Grin
This will probably be the last nail in the coffin of that forum, the problem is that we might see some "users" return.

Alexa is not impressed either:

At last they do able to realize that they are just simply wasting up their own btc's on paying up shitposters just to make their forum to have some traffic or people inside it
and now they are switching up to TALK tokens? This forum is already dead, people wont just waste up their time and effort to recieve tokens which doesnt give an assurance
to have some worth in September. 3 months time is long and majority wont really be that patient to wait up.In regards to alexa rank then i dont see for it to be surprising,
this forum traffic is just driven out by most bounty hunters with lots of alts.  Grin
4387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Low allocation bounty pools pays easily? on: June 18, 2020, 11:44:34 PM
It depends on how a bounty hunter would deal up with things, if they would done it if they do saw some payment proofs or not but you cant

really avoid not to think that you should rush in fast so that you can get more or wont able to be ran out of tokens since we do know that once an

airdrop do happen then lots of people do join which is normal. As long you dont give out something like KYC then its just good.
I have also been a victim of bounties previously especially when it came to KYC when I first started here on crypto and forum. I was also able to invite other people to just get rewards. So it just led everyone to feel sorry for them. That is one of those mistakes made. So now I have to figure out if it's really legitimate before I share it with others.
I never tried to join in any bounty that required KYC as a mandatory for the participants to received their payments. The old trick will not work for the second time again. In my opinion, if this time people very familiar with this. I hope newcomers will aware of this too.

For those who do have zero knowledge and doesnt care about their personal info then they will surely took the bait and comply on whats being asked.
Later on they would realize that it isnt really worth to take up the risk just for you to get some shit tokens or wont really get any value at all.
Its just dumb to think that you would need to comply KYC procedures just for you to get those bounty tokens which is bullshit.
Low allocation doesnt mean they do pay up easily because it will always depend or vary on teams discretion even if they do have big allocation of shit tokens
to be paid of, if their motive from the start is not to pay up their participants then thats a disaster.
4388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Add these tools to your trading toolbox. on: June 18, 2020, 10:14:48 PM

1. Blockfolio:

4. Babypips :

TradingView

These 3 would really be enough imho.

Blockfolio- when you are in transit or away from your own pc then you can check out your portfolio without any hassle.

Babypips- Where people can learn up trading from scratch. Basics of basics!

Tradingview - When it comes to charting etc.

There are lots of resources that can be used, its up to a person on how they do make up some searches specially if they are
on self-taught.
4389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinsquare CEO allegedly ordered its employees to make fake trades on: June 18, 2020, 09:31:25 PM
Is this thing still surprising?

Wash trading or fake volumes had been known in the past not only these things do exist on crypto world but also in other traditional markets as well.
Exchanges would really have that kind of act which doesnt only limit out on small exchange but also to bigger ones to retain up their
reputation in talks of liquidity or volume but everything can really be faked out.
4390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL ALTS EVER DECOUPLE FOM BITCOIN? on: June 18, 2020, 08:27:43 PM
I know it is highly unlikely, but I still have to ask the question. The way it has always been is alts move up when bitcoin goes sideways, or alts get crushed if bitcoin goes down or they get crushed in bitcoin value if bitcoin goes up. Even the top alts suffer from this to some degree so I wonder if it's possible someday for let's say ETH to have price action noncorrelated to bitcoins drops or big moves up. The way the structure of the market is everything depends on bitcoin like when dropped to 3,800 not too long ago everything else took a dive with it. I wonder if ETH or some alt can ever decouple from bitcoin? My guess is probably not its just the way it is even tether goes below a dollar sometimes depending on bitcoin price action. There are some alts that have all time highs before bitcoin does so in a way that is kind of a decoupling, but they still suffer from bitcoins price action. Anyway interesting subject to discuss I would love to get everyone's take on it

When it comes to price correlation then i can say that after all the years ive been spending here on this market.I cant really deny
about that stuff when bitcoins price tends to move then it do somehow dictates on where the market is heading but this is actually
a wrong mindset to since there are coins which can really oppose on what bitcoin is doing most of the time, they do!
Rather than stressing yourself on asking about that decouple thing then it would be more better if you do just mind on how
you gonna utilize those cheap prices.
4391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where ETH will go if it breaks down $80? on: June 17, 2020, 11:41:50 PM
If Ethereum price drops below $80, there will be total chaos and people start to panic and dump all there coins. It's not likely that will happen. Looking at the list I made from WorldCoinIndex it shows that Ethereum is the second best coin with the most growth in 90days. I cannot predict the future and only hope Ethereum price will increase again.

-

I have the same sentiment towards eth also. Exactly 3 months today from the date the OP posted this thread and look at where we are now. Eth is above $200 already and if bitcoin will continue to go up and so is eth. Eth platform is one of the solid platforms out there because of the development team backing it. So eth has very good future coming our way.

Right, there are lots of possibilities that ETH may rise up since there's updates that the project will offer, we don't know how things
will proceed and what will be the next ETH value but to those who are still supporting this project there's always positive outcome
for both long and short term investors.

The current value still good and far from what falling to $80 even there's  pandemic virus that still ongoing.

The current price is $234 as of this writing and thinking on going to dip on $80 would really be hard to believe on unless if the entire market would go to reds or hard correction
then we might see these numbers but to think that even on a pandemic state, we have able to go down that hard which we can presume out that breaking that support
is unlikely to happen but well we do know on how unpredictable this market is and anytime it can crash but for now its better not to think that much.
4392  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: June 17, 2020, 11:05:26 PM
I feel like that the forum did merits to get quality post. And the main reason is to limit the amount of people on that rank. Without those merits people can easily become a Hero member in a few months. But because of merits they have to make quality post rather than making average post and getting the same out come. So I feel like trading merits is not ideal maybe even illegal. Because what's the point of selling merits if you will not earn it again?
It all goes on making even more money with those smerits that they do have and the fact that theres a demand to it since there are people who
do really like to fasten up their rank up rather than on focusing on making constructive post. They do love the fast way thats why they throw
up some bucks for it to be achieved and we know that higher rank would have higher pay in terms of sig campaigns which they do think
that they can break even it soon once they do able to join one so they do took the risk on buying. It isnt allowed since its a form of abuse
but stopping it is not really that simple.
4393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 17, 2020, 10:25:34 PM
Going by what general consensus shows, Joshua will beat Pulev and Fury will beat Wilder. Pulev is probably going to never fight professionally again as his age will probably not allow it and Wilder will probably not fight again if he gets beaten by Fury again because his ego will not allow him to risk a third defeat.
I don't think so, I've seen a lot of fighters who are beaten many times already but they are still fighting, of course if Wilder will lose, although he lose twice but it's just from one fighter only, and he can still fight another boxer that could still generate money for him. Boxing is more on because of money, not because of ego, or whatsoever, these guys are living a different lifestyle than the normal people, so they need money for that which they can only get when they will keep fighting. Wilder at 34 years, he still have a lot of fights left even if he lose against Fury.

The rest of your statement, I agree with it.

Boxing is business and every boxer do knows that but we cant really deny if we do talk about that pride part when losing into an opponent.
Of course we do like to have that flawless record to make it more appealing. There are even indeed boxers who do still fight nowadays in spite of
its age. A few loss wont really be a valid reason for a boxer to quit or retire into its career. Its just a dumb presumption.
4394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or trade in altcoins listed by voting vs. independent on: June 17, 2020, 09:56:35 PM
I want to try a new altcoin to fill my exchange wallet which might give me a new trading experience.
Is it more worth considering trading in altcoins listed on the exchange through a voting program rather than independently?

I see lately that these types of altcoins is more able to survive and recover its price after falling than coins that are listed independently, can even surpass new altcoins in the top exchanges. Although I know that many voting sites can be manipulated, but I don't think it will beat the number of the original supporters. What do you think? What is the worst side of the voting program that I need to know about?
Neither of the two because in both voting ways would really signify out that theres demand.Manipulation is always there but as said it would really be
composed of main supporters of the project. The thing here is that,if the coin is being listed via voting system then you can really think of that
theres a demand towards a certain project and come to think that Binance do have it and to know that criteria wont really be that simple
in most cases thats why we can presume that only good projects can withstand.
4395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN on: June 17, 2020, 09:17:58 PM
I am new to cryptocurrency world and I've learnt a lot since I started reading about it but I've not really gotten much of understanding on what is meant by FIAT CURRENCIES?
Simple google search wont really cost you an arm and leg.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_money
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/fiatmoney.asp

or simply means the money you've been using now is Fiat currency.  Cheesy
4396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month after Bitcoin Halving. What's next? on: June 17, 2020, 08:43:31 PM
I think the event that everyone is waiting for bitcoin from now until the end of the year is Bitcoin reaching a new peak that is higher than the peak in 2017. Everyone is anxiously wondering whether Bitcoin will do it and reach a new peak higher than that top. I think this question is difficult to answer at the present time due to the circumstances The difficult economic situation around the world due to the spread of Corona virus, but I think this can happen but it needs some time.
mining rewards have decreased to 6.25 BTC but there are still large quantities in the market we need some time to start these quantities present in decrease then the demand for bitcoin increases and rises Its price is as expected.

from my 3 years of Bitcoin experience, I can say that you can only predict but nothing can be surely said in Bitcoin. because anything can be happened at any time in BTC market. if you are enough skilled about trading signals and indicator then your predictions may be matched, but no one can identify surly the pumping or dumping moment, but I hope in this year we may see a massive increase in BTC market. I think if we able to recover out of from coronavirus pandemic then we may see another ATH in this year.
We are all hoping for an increase but it would be preferable if it would be a on a gradual pace rather than on shorter spikes.Nothing can
predict out on what would happen ahead even people do really hope and anticipate that much towards each halving effects but the
market shows that theres no event can assure that would really have that kind of effect afterwards.

After Bitcoin Halving there's really nothing you need to do after the halving. The bitcoins in your wallet or at an exchange will remain just as safe as they were before the halving
In talks of storage then exchange wallet is never been suggested.Always make use of non-custodial ones.
4397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: June 17, 2020, 08:13:37 PM
How do you make a trade or investment decision? Do you read news and check the price updates of your Coin? How do you do this? How do you get real time crypto news, social media updates and price alerts? If there's any 1-stop place to get all in real-time for free would you like to join?

There are those that prefer to use fundamentals and the news to try to predict the movements of different assets in the market, however that is extremely time consuming and there is not a single source from which you can get that information and even more importantly even with all of that information it is impossible to know how much the price price will move in either direction, as such I prefer to save myself the trouble and only take a look at the charts, I follow a strategy of my own design that I have tested because I do not really trust on the countless strategies you can find online about how to make money on the markets.
Its better to create a strategy on your own rather than letting yourself do follow up others calls when it comes to investment matters.
You would really regret once a particular suggestion do fail up.You cant blame out people to make use of fundamentals yet this market is
too reactive when it comes to news and similar aspects but somehow you do got the point that not everytime we would see a
news which for us to rely on thats why TA's had been always become the norm.
4398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa has surged up to 950% from it’s March lows - should one buy it? on: June 16, 2020, 09:40:59 PM
Zilliqa an alt coin has managed to surge up to 950% from March till current date
950%? I think you miscalculated it mate.
On March 1, 2020, Zil's price was $.006148. Today, June 16, 2020, the price is $0.025050. That's around 400%. (CMIIW)
But that's still a huge gain, lucky are those who didn't miss the boat.

Lucky for those people who do still baghold this shit coin.Someone decide to pump it out which isnt something new into this market
where coins that are almost dead do revive from grave and do give out some price increase.Lucky indeed if someone still manage to buy
these coins and yet profit increase isnt really that something that you can ignore on.

As advised it would be wise if you would sell off the stash and secure out profits while it last. Dont ever tend to buy more on a coin
that had been just revived because sooner or later, it would kiss again to the floor in terms of its price.
4399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: June 16, 2020, 08:59:14 PM
I remember of a friend who gave up his studies and went all-in on AMP coin (Synereo - if you remember the project). By saying all-in, I don't mean that he invested any money on it but all his time. He worked as a programmer for them and used to earn $300 worth of AMP each month. He did this for at least 3 years, the project did well and he almost became a double millionaire when the spike occurred in markets during 2017 when BTC was $14k and reached $20k. But he kept the coins as it is, didn't sell them when I even advised him to do so and later when the crash happened, the project itself came to an end putting all his work and savings under the grave. So, you need to know when to sell as that's too an important part of trading.
I do remember also when i do engage myself in bounty before that 2017 bull run and that was in SNOVIO project.I should have get $40k in worth of tokens if i do sell it in time to fiat
but my greed do tell me to hold even more longer and in result? I cashed out it when it is already on $500 mark which is really a regretful thing. All of us do have that corresponding
similar situations in our crypto career experience. You wouldnt learn and realize something if you didnt make any mistake which is really an impossible stuff.
4400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seems like bitcoin is too slow to progress on: June 16, 2020, 07:50:49 PM
guys, in bitcoin literally nothing happens if we compare with defi on ethereum. User experience and possibilities there (lending, dexes, pools and so on) are so far ahead.
the idea of 21kk bitcoins is out of date, no fresh ideas, no fresh blood in devs. And also absolutely centralised infrastructure around (exchanges). Lightening is fucked.
Bitcoin is one more tool for snx traders. And its price goes exactly according to s&p500. I hardly see reasons to hold the biggest share of my portfolio in bitcoin. Maybe I missed smth, help to get it. Thanks!
The thing is, all these altcoins were created after Bitcoin and as usual the last will always see the things that are not perfect with the first product and they will try to add more features.

I think that when Bitcoin was being created, the main thing they had in mind was just transaction and they were not really looking more into other features. Even though the transaction is a bit slow than others, there is still nothing wrong with it. Others were able to identify the few faults it had and then used it to perfect their own projects.
Nothing is perfect!

This is why other developers would try to create to much better and more updated coin. This isnt only talking in cryptos side
but this had been happening since from the beginning of time since its part of our instinct to create something better on where
others had already done but we cant really avoid the fact that first things that had pop out would always took the spot light
even no matter how many much better alternatives out there.
