4381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 23, 2020, 09:17:54 PM
Knowing about the age restriction about gambling, and being applicable to online gambling as well. Is it really effective to limit the players? Because from my experience playing through different gambling sites, I don't see any that most of there are strict. They are just allowing you to create account and you can even fake your credentials to enter age above the limitation. There are some sites that don't really have anything to ask their players, and will allow you to directly play after your email has been verified. Yes, you have set your age in your email, but what if you exceed your age in your email as well?

That means, players of any age has really no restriction in gambling because of the weak regulation. Though, I don't like KYC to be a mandatory to every gambling sites. Maybe these sites could just improve or develop a system to detect if the players are really in legal age to play.

I could not think of any other way but KYC to verify if the one joining a gambling site is legit and of age, people want anonymity, and because the competition is very high in the online gambling sector they do away with KYC so, in reality, we'll never know if the one joining is of age and not a child who wants to gamble his allowance.

Either you do or implement KYC and lose your customers / players (because many gamblers do not want themselves to be disclosed who they are) or Do not make KYC compulsory and allow the under-age play the gambling. It's a trade off and you have to choose between the two.
Of course people would really choose up to play on a place or site that doesnt have KYC and as said people do give out importance into their privacy.
If you do own a site and implement strict KYC then it would really just restrict out most users yet you are just similar to those traditional fiat gambling sites out there.
This is the only way on stopping minors on playing into a certain site if it do have some verification but if not then expect that we cant just filter out those young minds
to jump in to the place. We know that accessing sites are way too simple to be done these days.
4382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think this is a good strategy ? on: March 23, 2020, 08:47:25 PM
Hi all  Smiley

Do you think this is a good strategy:

I buy bitcoin by putting a stop limit at the same purchase price to lose nothing

Example: I buy 1 BTC at $ 5200 and simultaneously place a stop limit (loss) at $ 5200, if the price goes up then it's good for me but if it goes down then I would lose nothing

Thank you

Theres nothing wrong with that an in fact you are already profiting now since the price had risen up to 6.3k and it would be much if you do sell it out for securing profits
and repeat the whole process.Try to re-enter on cheaper price and then sell it off as long you do see greens or gains. On this way it would really be ideal to accumulate btc
and it is much more a faster process rather or compared if you do just decide to hold for longer duration. No matter what strategy you are doing as long it do benefits you out
then you are doing good.

I’m not sure how I beat @milewilda to this but look who’s on top and not giving a dam about the virus our very favourite hdf, and after seeing the virus news every hour seeing him on top with those stats really made very me happy. @slaman29 @jossiel waiting for your comments lol, it just feels so good to discuss about him and not discussing about the virus Grin.

Hdf is back and its good to see that we do see different names on top spot for each week and yeah its quite a stressful thing if we do always talk about virus.  Cheesy

4384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 22, 2020, 09:23:44 PM
I see many people still optimist in crypto but others deny the optimist and make me think. We know crypto is alternative and we need to grow and find what next after it because crypto is not safe, law nature also says everything has beginning always has ending. Many country try release their own coin and connect with global issue also become indicator crypto can fall deeper than before. See 2020 as good moment to find alternative out side crypto and forex is the closer and realistic answer. Now my positive thinking about crypto start collapse, do I need leave now or stay with crypto until replacement?
Forex is alternative? Its been here for long before crypto market exist thats why it doesnt really sound right if it would be treated as an alternative. Its a matter of choice if you do switch to forex from crypto.
Yes, nothing is permanent into this world but doesnt mean that you would just easily discourage yourself and easily switch up and looking for alternative.Question, does crypto market completely failed?
I dont think so, we are already 10 years and going strong and having a bear market isnt enough to justify that this market wont be beneficial anymore.
4385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 22, 2020, 06:14:04 PM
For you understand and can fine both the top and the bottom with ease it is better to trade then holding. I have been following the cryptocurrencies market for more then four years now and it is obvious that if you follow the up and down of the market you must have made serious money by now.
trading is better than just holding back, it's just that it will be good when you make a profit. however, trading conditions are always a big risk, because you can lose your assets in the near future if the market is unstable. Well, trading and investment have advantages and disadvantages of each, but so far I am still holding my assets.
Everything has a risk neither you do decide to hold or would actively trading. Both do have its own advantages and disadvantages it will depend on where you do much prefer as long you are
profitable then stick to the system you are into. Not all hodlers are profitable yet we know that theres no such thing about assurance when it comes to trading or investing.
The good thing on active trading is on where you do make money in shortest possible of time since you do deal with active price movement and it goes opposite for hodling.
But for those people who doesnt like to take risk that high then they do choose up to be passive instead.
4386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 22, 2020, 02:33:54 PM
Well, everything when it comes to decision making would really be like a gamble thing which each choice would really need up some right analysis and thinking for it to be beneficial on your part.
From the simplest thing to critical ones .So lets talk back to the situation given for this quarantine period when it comes to our gambling habits where anything could really be done inside your home
specially family members are together then seeking out some sort of entertainment with having something at stake would be enjoyable.Have we done the same thing? No, because my family
isnt really like that.  Cheesy
4387  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go? on: March 18, 2020, 04:22:50 PM
This is not looking too good for Bitcoin holders. Some scientists estimate there will be 100 million plus infected with the Coronavirus2019 in the United States, eventually.

USA is the finance and Bitcoin capital of the world.

No one knows!

There no one do able to predict the future or the things that would happen ahead. For now we do able to see
the devastating effects of such pandemic but do you really believe that it would last for more months or years?
Vaccine would be available soon and everything that had been dumped down will surely recover.
This doesnt only talk on traditional market but also in crypto as well.
4388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 The International 2020 on: March 18, 2020, 03:37:05 PM
No thanks, DOTA 2 not just about the game also enthusiasm the community was really high. Instance held a tournament without an audience better to cancel it at all.

Yes, Valve will not allow this to happen again. They have allowed this to one CS:GO event, yes, only staffs, players and teams were inside the event and there were no fans because of the circumstances that they've faced.

With the said new mechanics about the regionals, it's okay to conduct online matches and no problem with those casters and broadcasts because there are a lot of companies that do cover it. But the championship? if you mean about major or the biggest event for Dota 2 which is TI, I think it they will just move the date.

I hope that by the time of the TI the virus epidemic will be over and VALVE will not have to choose between moving the championship and holding it without spectators.
Although I stopped playing games a long time ago, I continue to watch major gaming Championships such as TI.

TI10 would fall on Dates:Aug 18 - 23, 2020 on which we do have still 5 months before the event. This might be a little bit off topic but this recent news do give out some light for the current
Covid19 issue - https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200318_36/ . If this one would be the answer of this current pandemic issue then theres no worry about future postponement of these events.
Ive been a player of Dota for 8 years and ive been a solid fan when it comes to international.

We are still far away though but if isnt still get resolved on that time then they would surely move or re-schedule it.Seeing an international or main event without an audience is really a god damn boring
thing to watch.
4389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 18, 2020, 02:19:31 PM
Personally, I do not understand how coronavirus can interfere with trading.
Will it infect the servers of all major exchanges and disable them?

Even if the market continues to fall, it will only open up more trading opportunities for traders.

You can express your ideas here or in a branch devoted to various kinds of ideas.
I think investor sentiment is greatly affected by this disease and investors tend to panic a lot during this time. In addition, markets such as stocks or forex are heavily affected and this is definitely a very bad time for investors.

However, if you are holding fiat, this is a great opportunity for you to invest in some cheap coins because many of the coins in the crypto market are very low.
If you do lost a big portion of your portfolio then the thing you should do is doing average down. Not familiar? This is a forex term where you do
buy on dip to compensate or break even on what you have lost. Its still a choice though because not all would really consider on buying yet
you cant really avoid not to be afraid to risk on.

I think by now it is very clear that the COVID-19 is affecting and will affect trading. And the reasons I think this are: most people won't be able to go to work and for those who are self-employed but can't work because of the quarantine no money will be coming in to pay for their day-to-day expenses so saving for investment/learning to trade/trading generally won't be an option for most of these people. On a global scale not having people into work means reduced GDP and thus most countries will hit recession. All of this is bad because there will be not much spending going one, never mind investing or taking higher risks.
This is the sad fact or the hard situation for those people who do rely fully on their salary- or in short no work no pay thing.
Lots have been affected but we dont have any choice.
4390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alvarez vs. Golovkin: The Trilogy we've all been waiting for! on: March 18, 2020, 12:17:07 PM
[snip]
Do you guys think this third match will be as exciting and explosive as the past couple of fights? And the betting odds would probably be in huge favor of Canelo?
Well, as of now Canelo Alvarez was widely considered to be pound-for-pound the best boxer in the world, so it was clear that the odds were perhaps in favor with him. Indeed, the coming third match fight is a really exciting match to these both fighters but I am still on the side of Alvarez on this match. Do you think this match will reach 12 rounds?
Well, I hope this coronavirus outbreak will get rid earlier because of the coronavirus pandemic has caused a postponement.
September still far and i highly believe that Corona virus issue on that time would already be resolved or already had the vaccine, well nothing is assured but lets hope that this fight would push through and all of sports
events would resume out.

Going back on topic im still on Alvarez on this one, im not saying that GGG is already old but people will surely heavily favored on Canelo. It would be surprising if GGG would
able to pull out a 1-1 outcome.
4391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game Over? on: March 18, 2020, 11:29:17 AM
This is not for the first time crypto downfall is happening in the history of crypto currency, I agree most of them are really worried after this dump but there are some unrealistic things which might happen in crypto and no one couldn't believe that. As a believer I will buy the dip in the same way as I bought last time, trust crypto for a betterment that's all I can say you now.
I also choose a strategy to buy dip. Now is a great time for those people who have money to buy cryptocurrency. cryptocurrencies will survive and survive this crisis. it will prove that they exist for a reason. and when they come back all who panicked will regret their actions
If we do just try to go back to those years where worst thing do happen or shall we say those bearish times then we can actually tell that this isnt the end.
This had been always a part of a market and there are people who arent get used to it anytime they do experience loss of capital or investment when
the market tends to go down.

There is no direct connection between the Coronavirus and crypto markets but there is a correlation among all parts of global financial markets. If one hand the OIL markets crash-->it affects--->Stock shares--->turn of forex market--->Welcome to manipulated crypto market.

I agree to this sentiment we cant precisely tell that they do have that correlation thing but we can really presume that they are inter-connected.
4392  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 18, 2020, 10:44:54 AM
It’s been few days since the new Ann was created and here’s a small update regarding the current leaderboard, and right on top we can is tinyshi who’s definitely a big whale and it’s always fun to see such whales in action. The second gambler i.e. dudeperfect has also gambled pretty well, and it seems going ahead he’ll definitely challenge tinyshi for the top spot don’t you’ll think so?.

--

*note: there is no competition going on these are weekly leaderboard updates.*

Those numbers are saying that there are big whales that are trusting this gambling site. Because more than likely, they have been playing on the site for quite a while already. If there's no trust from their end, I don't think they will reach that wagered level.

If you haven't followed the old thread, there are a lot of whales playing on Bitdice, competition or non-competition. Of course, you can't please everybody, you will hear people 'attacking' the site itself. Nevertheless, Bitdice has remained one of the most trusted sites around, and that numbers speak for itself.

No gambling site would last long if they arent doing good on this industry and Bitdice had already proved that and come to think that only a few would really able to last for years.

Criticism isnt new and i wont be surprised if there are another fella on this thread will make another complaints towards the site.  Cheesy
4393  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 18, 2020, 07:17:15 AM

Everybody want to get rid of their life and they’re working day in day out, 24/7, never ending working, we are miles better, with avarage US employee work 1768 hours per year or 38.6 hours per week, better than Beijing 2096 hours, Tokyo 1997 hours, Shanghai 1987 hours, Seoul 2307 hours, Dubai 2323 hours, New Delhi 2511 hours, Mexico 2622 hours.

The table didn’t deduct the time spend on commuting to work, lunch break, commuting to home, and yes, we are more than 10% better than busy Japanese working culture.

You want to quit your job and take care of your valuable life to do what you want to do in life, then you should start investing and start generating your passive income that can give you stream of cash flow every months without working, so that you can begin to planning your life and travel to enjoy what the exciting world await your visit. Don’t wait until you’re too old, start investing and living the life of your dream.
Easy as it sounds but really hard to be done yet not all does have the financial capability to do such thing. They dont have much money to invest and also doesnt have the idea on where they should put their money on.
Of course there are things that produce out passive income but we know that it do talks about big money and finding the best opportunity doesnt really fit oout everyone in talks of investment.
Who doesnt like to have a financial freedom? All of us but we dont have any choice but to deal with reality "NO WORK NO PAY" system and only a few does have the chance to be different.
4394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 17, 2020, 11:59:09 PM
We know that day trading or short time trading is like playing with wild fire, not may can handle it. That's y most player's end up in loss and very few are successful day traders.
Is that hold true for gambling also?
There are posts here that gambling is addiction and how to get rid of.
Are there gamblers here who are in profit overall?

Different people will view this differently because, the two almost stand at the same level of lost and gains. Trading need commitments while the gambling life of a gambler also need commitments to survive the arenas of gamblers. Profits come to both the traders and the gamblers, although one It's more  dangerous than the other. Gamblers can easily loose their attention when the game turns against them but smile why they're winning against the house. Likewise the life style of a trader, though this lose will be more known but not than that of the gamblers. Addiction is attributed to gambling and not trading personnel.
Commitment would be more worth if you do spend up your time and effort on trading rather than on selecting gambling. We know the opportunity that it gives where it can sustain for long term.
Gambling is for enjoyment or past time but cant be considered to be part of living or source of money. So i can say that they are different to each other but they do have similarities on some ways
yet you are risking out your money to earn money.Trading can be considered gambling if you dont know on what you are doing.
4395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 17, 2020, 11:21:10 PM
Kevin Durant is reported to be amongst four players from the Brooklyn Nets to test positive for Covid-19, according to @SpectatorIndex which happens to be a trusted news source (for me), tweeted. The source also claimed that KD's feeling great despite testing positive to the pandemic.

https://twitter.com/spectatorindex/status/1240029726674006016
I was about to post and ask it here and here you are. I thought it isn't for real and just a troll page that I have seen. But with various sources, it's for real.  Undecided

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/coronavirus-kevin-durant-among-four-brooklyn-nets-players-who-tested-positive-for-covid-19-virus/

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/nets/2020/03/17/brooklyn-nets-test-positive-coronavirus/5072045002/

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/mar/17/kevin-durant-coronavirus-report-brooklyn-nets

I did have the same impressions when i do able to see such news on Facebook about Durant being positive with Covid. Now the problem would be much worst
yet they would start to isolate or quarantine to those people who had been with him for past weeks for sure.

This problem is becoming worst as day passed by there are lots of people getting infected and it would surely takes time for NBA to resume out the season.
Actually my body is really missing out to see great games.

Get safe everyone!
4396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advices from experienced investors for optimal coins allocation on: March 17, 2020, 10:55:26 PM

There is no point of investing on USDT, it should be used only as value storage coins and it should be kept playing with volatile pairs to bring money into your side.I don't think Ethereum is right choice at the moment, you should increase more coins like litecoin even ripple could be good for traders in short term.

If you do try to read up again and understand then USDT would really just play as a reserve for possibly upswings or opportunity for him to buy on which is pretty wise act to be done rather than missing out those chances for you to buy low and since you do have that reserve waiting down then you can anytime make decision to increase up or to accumulate and sell later on when you do see some gains.
Answering the question on what are the optimal coins? I'd say go for 80% for btc since its still cheap atm and the rest would be 20% of coin your choice, ETH isnt a bad one though.
4397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Physically vs Gambling Online Using Crypto on: March 17, 2020, 06:47:29 PM

In gambling, it's much more fun when we played gambling physically instead of playing online, because we experiencing a personal talks with the other gamblers and you see the money tangible. When in physical gambling it is easy to give the money to the winner because it doesn't have any verification to do so like in online gambling. But for this past days the COVID-19 virus has spread all over the world so that many gamblers are concerned with their health and they change the way of playing gambling. Many gamblers nowadays are just want to play gambling online because of the COVID-19 virus they'll also adjust the situation.

Contact with other gamblers and atmosphere in general are added value but now in time of corona virus I think that many will avoid pysical gambling and turn to online sites, maybe even those who usualy don't prefere it.
That might be additional push for online gambling sites to increase number of players also for the future and many gamblers just don't want to quit their javnost so online gambling gives solution for everyone.

In this situation many gamblers are reluctant to play gambling physically because they know that when conditions like this are not good in direct contact gambling it will lead to Covid-19 from one another even in my area also no longer exists with physical gambling because they already know the consequences of being exposed to Covid-19.

If addicts might have switched to online gambling because it can be used solely where I want them to, but sometimes bored if alone gambling online without someone on the edge.

hope it will recover soon in the near future.

As a gambler, you are dumb enough to pursue to play offline or physically even if you do know that theres a risk on getting infected with a virus.Hence, most casinos had already been
closed so you wont go anywhere but either would just play online or just simply taking a break on playing.

We know the difference if we do play physically or just in our front of our pc when in talks on ambiance and meeting with other fellow gamblers thats why lots of people
do prefer on playing physically due to that reason but for now we are facing some problems then better to have a pause on doing gambling.
4398  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin is supposed to go up of this corona! people are doing it wrong on: March 17, 2020, 02:48:16 PM
this global pandemic is here to stay

cash will carry virus, so bitcoin is the way..
economy is falling down, stocks in red , bitcoin is the way.

people are selling crypto like any other asset. you have to believe, the days of crypto has come..

sell all your stocks and buy bitcoin
use 90 percent of your cash to invest in bitcoin.
sell all your real estate , they will be seized by government for free for building hospitals, just like in china.

so sell everything as fast as you can and buy cypto...

buy supplies and food for atleast 3 months. fill gas in your vehicle.

I know isnt bad to have these kind of optimism when it comes to global adoption of Bitcoin but it wont really be enough even we are on a very serious problem.
Do you really believe that fiat would vanished as easy as that? It might one of the cause of transmission of covid but doesnt mean that it would really be removed so
easily.Just like other markets we've seen the worst atm where everything is on read and not all people would have that same mindset on accumulating cheap coins,
consider out the panic and hesitance in regards on investment decisions.

Yet another new review site
Whats the added value? how do you rank? who is reviewing? Where are your audience from?

Explain more to make these reviews legit

It doesnt really add or change anything and its just an another day on seeing an another review site with having its own referral link.
I cant deny to those sites listed though but there are some sites which do have shady rep like 1xbit also with crypto casino sites
there are lots of sites which are good which havent listed like Bitdice.  Smiley
4400  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 17, 2020, 09:57:20 AM
We never thought this corona will be so viral and disastrous and even I have mentioned in my previous posts downplaying the seriousness of Corona but now it has collapsed economy of many businesses except pharmacy business which have seen a spike as most of the stocks are out of stock but the restaurant and other daily operational business like tours and travel agency, malls, other event-based business, and meat shops are closed and going through massive loss.

How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?

Anything that correlates to a simple virus specially a new one shouldnt really be downplayed so easily or should really be ignored.I do have the same impressions when its still just small where i do treat that
this one is just similar on that ASF (African swine flue) etc. but i didnt expect that it would really be this big.Lots of businesses are indeed being heavily affected to this one specially on malls and transport where
crowd is present.

Talking on how long it would last? No one knows because as long the vaccine isnt available yet this pandemic issue wont really be resolved.
