4382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 16, 2020, 12:56:35 PM
In fact it could also be like despite with that two knock downs, Fury should still have won.
Going that fight, it was Wilder who had a very good record and he is the favorites, so like most of the fights happen in boxing, when it goes to the score card, judges are likely to favor the favorite. Anyway, that was long over, we can't change the result, but at least Fury prove himself in the 2nd fight.

But let the decision be what it was. I don't think they were lucky punches though. Wilder has always that power in his hands that could put even a giant as Fury down anytime it lands perfectly.
Fury was strong enough to take the punches of wilder, that makes him so special compared to the opponents of wilder in his previous fights.
This fight no. 3 should end their rival if Fury will again win convincingly, but if not, another game would possibly happen as it would make Wilder hype again.
4383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which to use for cheap initial BTC purchase? on: April 16, 2020, 10:11:43 AM
If you have a chance to buy in Binance, I think this is a good choice, about the fee, I guess Binance fee is cheap and its withdrawal as will.
Since you are into long term hold, just gather the money first their just buy in bulk, that way you would not feel the fee you are paying.

Binance is a trusted site, I never had any problem using it so I'll recommend it, and just make sure also that you have a hard wallet to save your bitcoins for your long term holding.
4384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: April 11, 2020, 12:22:55 PM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.
are you one of the people who dream like this?
Me, I do not depend on gambling in achieving my financial goals. I'd rather work hard because for me I have no assurance in gambling. Instead of winning I may end up losing. At least through real work, I can surely earn.
It's good that you are realistic to yourself, gambling for a living is really hard, only few can achieve that as this is a high risk kind of investment.
call it investment because you are confident of what you are doing, hence you are investing in yourself, you are not gambling relying on your luck but you are relying on your skills here.

Well I know someone who quite depends on gambling, my very own mother. She may not always win in playing but she knows how to manage her money, and time.
No one always wins in gambling unless a person is cheating.
Being able how to manage your time is very important and bankroll management as well, but at the end of the day, what matters is we will be profitable.
4385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 11, 2020, 08:13:35 AM
also in my opinion the martingale strategy does not work in the long term on the contrary, it is harmful for one's finances, encouraging the player to continue playing with the false hope of being able to recover any losses...
If this is applied on games where there is a house edge.

Actually you can apply martingale in sports betting and it could be an effective strategy but you need to be smart in using it and do it with the right timing.
Blindly using it, that will cause you a lot of money every time you lose, you are risking more just to win a certain amount of your target.

As a gambler, I have tried different strategy including martingale strategy but I would not say it's a bad strategy in overall.
4386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: April 07, 2020, 04:18:26 PM
I voted for sports betting, it doesn't matter if you are a newbie as long as you understand what you are doing.
Winning or being consistent will not happen overnight, it will take time but at least when you start your journey being a sports betting, you can grow here by developing your skills, other games that you just rely on luck to win, you don't grow there, so don't be serious with those kinds of games.
4387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My record of information about gambling investments. on: April 07, 2020, 04:00:44 PM
Indeed right, investment is always good and not to let your Bitcoin sleep in your wallet. But always remember the DYOR first before putting your money.
Not all the time, even the most trusted website could also possibly scam people.
For me, holding in my wallet is safer and I can sell it right away, investing all your holdings and trust it in a website is quite risky given the fact that investing in a bankroll does not guarantee a good return, and there's even no info that tells how profitable investing is on the thread that was summarize by OP.
4388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: April 07, 2020, 11:56:28 AM
Currently the market is recovering even the world problem is not yet over, its good to see btc slowly increasing especially now that halving is a month away.
And let's hope that bitcoin will continue to be bullish going to the halving so this hype will continue post halving.
Bitcoin dump at $4K when there was a big panic, and if people buy at that price, they will make an easy 100% once bitcoin will reach over $8000.

4390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering on: April 07, 2020, 11:16:55 AM
Hopefully nothing too severe or too bad but think about it, millions of people, probably hundreds of millions of people are all staying at home and we have to believe that market wasn't really affected by it? No matter what you do for stimulus, no easing, nothing should recover it this quickly, we SHOULD see some trouble eventually. I don't know when but I am still a bit scared of this good results.

Well you should be scared because what we are seeing now might not last, the world is in trouble right now as major country are in crisis.
However, we can't also say that bitcoin will not grow as ever since it's been already so unpredictable, what majority think does not happen most of the time, so that is why bitcoin now is quite bullish, but no guarantee this will continue of course, let's just get ready or maybe learn how to do short term trading as we could take advantage on this situation.
4391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: April 06, 2020, 01:01:59 PM
Most of the times as I noticed in the past few years when the bitcoin increase or dumping the altcoind are same movement.
But they have time or sometimes happen that they have opposite movement but most of the time altcoins are following bitcoin.
That is what I saw only it depends to you and others what their think about altcoins if they are base on the bitcoin or not.

That's the case after the bull run, slowly the price drop until altcoins loses its dominance and since bitcoin now owning the highest dominance, it's normal that the market moves when bitcoin moves, therefore at this point, we need to wait until bitcoin reaches its new ATH before we expect an altcoin season.

I know we all have been waiting for it, but let's be realistic while waiting.
4392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: April 06, 2020, 12:33:00 PM
There are so many sports that was posponed because if this COVUD-19 to prevent the risk of spreading the virus, so basically we cannot do sports betting with that, the best things that we can do to still gamble is to play online gambling like roulette, dice, etc.
We can easily do that if we like, but then, people will not risk a good amount of money for roulette and dice since they know their real chances.
I mean in sports betting you can win since there is no house edge but in luck based type of games, you'll enjoy but you can't get an advantage on that, only way to win is when you are lucky enough.

There are still so many online gambling that we can try if we really want to play, but always be careful of each one because there are still some fake websites that may fool you.
When we are accustom enough in this forum, we will not likely get scam easily since there are a lot of reputable gambling sites here, so only play with the reputable ones.

Ofcourse.
I read somewhere you can increase your winning chances in some luck-based betting by pooling funds together in a group or something. You share the risks, profits and losses with the group. That is probably an interesting strategy for luck-based games.

Forget about that , it should not work, the fact that its called a luck based games, there is no such strategy that would help you win in the long run, expect if your strategy is cheating the gambling site.
4393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering on: April 06, 2020, 12:00:59 PM
had dropped to $ 3800, now Bitcoin is recovering at $ 7000, an increase of almost $ 5000 in a few days, but you must be careful, because the market is still very bad, corona virus is still not gone, I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will go down again before halving begins
We need to get out the $7100 price and move higher so we can expect another run, if we failed to break the resistance then we will be having a problem, bitcoin will dump again or just swinging at a certain price range.
4394  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: April 05, 2020, 11:47:35 AM
This covid-19 has been affecting the market seriously, but as of recent everything seems to be getting better and even Dow Jones has been a bit up recently, and Bitcoin went up too and luckily it has remained with its price of over 6,000 USD without going below and I’m so happy about that.

I can’t predict where it will be heading and I can’t tell what led to the price getting back up to this level. But I’m thinking that this level is going to be the lowest level as of now, and as time goes on and by the time this pandemic fades off, there will be further increase and the price will keep on going up.  Hopefully Smiley.
I think Bitcoin isn't affected at all with this pandemic...
in these 3 days, the price movement of Bitcoin was very pronounced, in the last 24 hours + 2.47% yesterday even touched $ 7k. I'm very optimistic that the price of Bitcoin in the next 1-2 months will be $ 10k.

So far it was stable, but if you look at the price prior to the pandemic, bitcoin was bullish until WHO announced that COVID-19 has become a pandemic and things changes, bitcoin dump to $4K and good enough that it has recovered. However, we all like to see a growth but bitcoin being stable at the moment, we still don't know what would happen next.
4395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 05, 2020, 11:25:24 AM
I have quiet an experience on losing due to rage betting and one of the popular way of rage betting is to double your bet amount. Even a simple auto martingale does the same. Not only you'll lose fast, you'll also not be able to enjoy what you are doing. It would be better to limit your max bet. It would give you a chance to review your decision or could run for a bit longer where your luck could flip on your side.
Well TBH, I already stop using auto martingale, I use that strategy when playing dice but my experience is mostly a lose and eventually I lose my interest in gambling dice as it was not as entertaining as I was expecting, in the long run you'll get bored, yes the result is fast but we failed to realize our real chances, so now, I do only play for pure entertainment.

4397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 04, 2020, 11:56:33 PM
Given the current situation, big people behind NBA starting from team owners to players surely will not have a problem with contract adjustments. Soon, they will rise up again once the situation got back to normal so a bit of sacrifice is necessary at these times.

They have to understand each other, team owners and the players both suffers on this pandemic, in short they both lose money.

For players, I thought they only lose the opportunity to earn when they got suspended, injured and after no one will pick them, and I'm sure this kind of situation is something new, they haven't experience it in their life so they are also facing some problem now, at least some of them.

We know that NBA players making big money, but if they don't know how to save on this kind of situation, then they are struggling and might be complaining now, but at the end of the day they'll realize it's a global pandemic that stop most of the sporting events.
4398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 04, 2020, 11:30:51 PM
it'll really vary depending on the game you're playing
sometimes you can calculate the odds and in some games the odds are a bit more on your side.

just remember: the house will always win.

no matter what happens.

The thing is you are saying it depends on the game you are playing but in the end you said the house always wins.
Try to realize that not all games has house edge, there are skilled based games where you are not gambling against the house,  like sports betting, bettors gambling against each other, house just facilitate the bets.

I find it hard to play with crowded gambling house, it is hard to make yourself comfortable if there is too much people.
So, I won't play in such a crowd. And we are in a situation where our health issue is what matters the most, playing in such a crowd might give you trouble for possiblities of having the virus.
Because of the virus, gamblers will surely transfer in online gambling and this will benefit the crypto online gambling as well.
Crypto though the adoption is still low but it's been slowly getting the attention of the people, eventually they'll be educated about what is bitcoin and they will not think of it as a ponzi scheme, we need people who are real adopters that they'll use crypto in a daily or regular basis and that's gamblers.
