4381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why reward halving instead of doubling? on: April 12, 2020, 12:07:08 AM
Do you think reaching the maximum supply at the earliest time would be beneficial for Bitcoin? I don't think so. Also, if you are talking about early adopters, they have already been given a chance to hoard a lot of BTC during the times when it was easy to mine. Additionally, when the price is still at the cents, it is a lot.

Nothing is fixed in this world of ours, only the constants. The price of an asset is not one of them, and you can never be sure of its direction as well.
4382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Black List Gambling platform. on: April 11, 2020, 10:17:03 PM
I cannot relate so much with those casinos because I haven't tried them, only with cryptocurrency online casinos. I would be waiting for your cryptocurrency blacklist review. Will be watching this thread.
Well, that is right. I also noticed what is on the OP list. Perhaps all was listed are not a crypto users or perhaps only fiat will be accepted there. That is good advice, make a list in all of the gambling casinos that have an appeal here. Because on this forum, gamblers will choose a gambling site that has already owned their reputation here. I hope there is an improvement too in OP thread and I think only one source was OP referring for.
I think it's okay to have his list of fiat online casinos, it's just that, I'm not experienced in that kind, just the Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. He said he will have in his P.S. part of the post. As long as the casino is graded, I think it would be okay.
4383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: April 11, 2020, 04:39:32 PM
I was thinking about this the other day when I remember someone creating a token about Corona Virus. It's a freaking joke to have that kind of shit being made as a project. And now people are betting on how long it would last? Or something in that sense? That's fucked up, and we know it. Don't participate in that kind of shit, it's not right, especially to the ones who are affected.

People have died because of COVID-19, don't make it worse by participating in it.

4385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen if all miners stop mining? on: April 10, 2020, 06:36:11 PM
So, in summary, it's not possible to have no miners. If that happens, as long as one node is alive computing, Bitcoin will stay alive. Anyways, It's not possible because a lot of people are already invested in Bitcoin, especially the miners, and their mining gears are expensive, and it's best not to be put to waste.
4386  Economy / Reputation / Re: WHERE IS TMAN? for 1 month of inactivity 🤔🤔 on: April 10, 2020, 05:56:22 PM
We should always be hoping for the best for each and every one of us here. Anyone who is in contact with him?
4387  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Experience on: April 10, 2020, 05:10:40 PM
As for the different use cases of everyone here, for sure it would be different if you experienced having one. You may not really need it but the portability and accessibility it gives is a blessing to have when you support crypto. Using your mobile phone with the manager is helpful too. OTG is okay but you have to carry an extra cable.
4388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 02:18:33 PM
I saw a social media post where it's better to emphasize employee loyalty, instead of the money itself. Seeing that casinos are always about money, they have chosen the latter, for sure.

I think the best way for them to stay in that casino is that the company gives them benefits of some sort and not rely on the government to help them. I think that seems fair.
4389  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 10, 2020, 12:39:53 PM
I don't think curriculums of high schools, colleges, graduates, etc, are quickly going to implement that unless the Economics teacher has data of how it affects the current economy today, especially with what's happening.

I find it amusing to have it as a subject. Hence I agree that it's best to be included in a subject to understand the potential of having sustainable social and economic growth or is a threat to the economy.
4390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 Playoffs prediction on: April 10, 2020, 10:59:10 AM
After playing a lot of NBA 2K20, it has always been Milwaukee Bucks, who are The champions in the Eastern Conference. I always end up facing them when I play with the Lakers. I use the game to predict somehow what the outcome could be and with the injuries and other factors that could contribute to the game. The game is getting more realistic over the years, and I just think they are close to reality.
4391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz stealing money again and accuse people of being criminal.... on: April 10, 2020, 01:33:24 AM
Ever since I saw the negative reviews about Bitstarz, I wouldn't want to use it or even just register in it. Anyways, typically I think it's a protocol for gambling sites to have background checks and verify that it's the actual person that is withdrawing. Maybe the account is hacked or something, but it's their way. For the most part, I think it has made it complicated for Bitstarz to handle it because of the different phones and emails that were contacted.

Please update us with the future happenings.
4392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK outlaws credit card gambling from 14th April on: April 09, 2020, 02:00:59 AM
This would be beneficial for those who are addicted to gambling. It's a smart move because it gives more harm to the financial situation of the person. If that person is addicted, but he could still use his card to have "Cash Advance" and he would think of it as "Play Now! Pay later" scheme which could lead to difficulty in repayment.

Maybe if you still want, just use Bitcoin casinos and cash in or Buy BTC using your Credit Card. For sure there are still exchanges willing to sell their BTC.
4393  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Ledger Nano X Experience on: April 08, 2020, 06:04:22 PM
I'm just amazed at how the battery life on the Nano X stays. I mean, it's over a month already + the quarantine where I didn't use the device up until now. I was surprised that it's up by 94% battery remaining. I don't regret upgrading to Ledger Nano X from Ledger Nano S. I still have it but I mostly use the Nano X.

*This is marketed already, I just want to share my personal experience as well.
4394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Addresses With 1 BTC Are On The Rise, As Bitcoin Exits Exchanges on: April 08, 2020, 03:55:11 PM
Or maybe they are the exchanges themselves and they are just distributing to different wallets and then EXIT SCAM???!!?!  Huh
4395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms. on: April 08, 2020, 12:21:55 PM
The sites that I would use in terms of gambling situations are the ones that Seuntjie DiceBot supports. I like automating stuff and using a bot so it could continuously gamble for me is awesome. You could see the list on the website. https://bot.seuntjie.com/
4396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC got stolen. Once again! :/ on: April 08, 2020, 12:09:40 PM
I have to admit, that's how I started using programs, mostly looking for cracks and illegal licenses, but that has changed completely since I started using crypto.
I think we have all been there. It's the same for me, having the thought at the back of my mind that the whole thing is pirated and the hackers could use that to their advantage and steal something you don't want to lose.

Then I decided to buy a hardware wallet, and use only the software I can pay for, but I'm sure it's clean and legal.
This is one of the best decisions, am I right? Others should too.
4397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Iker Casillas When this Nightmare Ends, We will play a Classic Vintage on: April 07, 2020, 09:28:35 PM
This would be promising for sure. I will follow his twitter just for the possible next steps with this "Classic Vintage" he is talking about.
4398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: April 07, 2020, 07:46:36 PM
That would be a great website considering there are a lot of other casual games that you could do with it. The factor right now is that you are going to take a long time (depending on the level of the competition) in Chess just to finish a game. I'm wondering if there are serious people who want that?

Probably an online tournament would be the ideal practice here. Starting an online competition would be nice.
4399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My record of information about gambling investments. on: April 07, 2020, 06:46:23 PM
I haven't seen this but thanks for sharing. It's a shame it hasn't been updated anymore. His website doesn't say much as well though.
4400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 03:16:45 PM
Weird analogy, but the same results, is that what you mean? I don't believe it's the same causing because Corona Virus is not intended, gambling is. If you get the coronavirus, you can be healed by medical and scientific means. Addiction to gambling is self-done. It's weird to compare both of them.
