How can I tell if I've received the new EBTC in my MEW?
Just received mine.  In MEW when you receive it you won't see it like the other coins. Go to where it says: Token Balances
Remember, you can always view your Balances On https:// etherscan.io or Ethplorer.io
And click on that and click on the tab that says "token transfers" and if you received it it will have "Erc20 Token" in the same amount as your ebtc. |

Many questions about this coin.
Why so many scam claims? (don't just say FUD)
Let's assume it is a scam and dev has bad intentions, can't the community take over this coin since it's seems like a very nice idea with the Bitcoin brand?
also when can we buy it again?
It has been fixed and we are past that point. Now we just wait for new coins. The only people saying scam are fudsters trying to lower the value to buy low and sell high. |

The token is named EBTCOLD now on ED. How is it now fair? If you're buying something not knowing what it is, you're an idiot and you deserve to lose whatever you bought. No ones has new tokens yet. They just took the snapshot. Gonna take a bit for people to get the new tokens. Plus, no point in selling yet. I'd hold it all until at least $1. Maybe take a little then if you really feel you need to, but I'm gonna hodl at least half of what I have for months to see what the devs come up with. What is this "Hodl for months" stuff some people keep saying, lmao. The original eBTC peaked and crashed within 48 hours, and never recovered. This is a promising pump and dump, and we're all happy to be apart of it, but hodling for months? Look what would have happened to anyone who did that to the last 9000 airdrops/new coins that were a low cap version of Eth. Do you want to be in the same boat as them? I get it man, you're trying to get people to hold so the price goes higher faster so you can dump at a better price, but god it makes me cringe reading fake posts like yours. You are wrong but go ahead and sell. lol This thing dropped ONLY after the error in the coding was brought to light. This isn't people holding free coins. The majority purchased this coin. Most of the airdrop have been dumped already. |

Well you're a contract guy and if ebtc contract is sound then the sky is the limit. This thing was growing unbelievably fast until the coding problem. That's all we need fixed because we got a massive community now.
I'm not a eBTC dev  I know, I was saying that because you of all people here understands coding.  Oh hahaha. Yeah.. I don't know how they fucked that up initially. Code Review is essential.. I don't blame satoshi21 for passing off the reigns to someone else. I would be embarrassed too. But this coin is heating up. Just look at that community. Huge thread. This thing is going to the moon here in an hour or two.. I'm here drinking coffee just waiting for the swap. Pretty stoked to see how it plays out.. I hope so too. Not sure if it will shoot up that fast though because of the mixup and all the coins still on the exchanges. Either way if it shoots up now or a little while I'm ok with it.
