441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Generating Private Keys that you can remeber on: November 15, 2017, 05:57:16 PM
creating a brainwallet like that is stupid, many a brain wallets have been stolen this way, there are scripts people run to find weak brainwallets to crack, DO NOT DO IT.

maybe that why i told to not use dictionary words
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Generating Private Keys that you can remeber on: November 15, 2017, 05:56:32 PM
my coins were safe even when most of online wallets went down.
keeping the private key makes you immune to various future updates and changes, a private key will always be base of bitcoins.

Both of this statements are a bit false and misleading.
First you should not store your coins in an online wallet and if you store them in your private wallet the privkey issue is irrelevant.
Again for the second, that is the same for all privkey no matter how they are generated.

Now, your method is basically creating a brainwallet.

Unless you know what you're doing I would advise against it.
And certainly not doing this with an add-on that might record what you typed.

addon is open source and i tested it works fine
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Generating Private Keys that you can remeber on: November 15, 2017, 05:36:23 PM
hey guys i am willing to share a method i use to have bitcoin address without remembering the private key or bitcoin address !

benefits
1> no need to remember 12 24 words combo
2> no need to remember the private key
3> no software & no bullshit
4> your mind is key
5> access bitcoin anywhere, any situation

STEPS
1> Google > online sha 256 generator
Chrome Extension i use
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hasher/kignjplbjlocolcfldfhbonmbblpfbjb

2> put in any word that you can remember, make sure you try to make it complex and don't use any dictionary
good examples are - b!T20iNf2CK
you can use a mix of all charaters

3> you will get the hash of that word, well use that as your private key it will have one address with it.
import that to various wallets

4> if you want more, repeat step 2 with input as hash you got from step 3. ( you can do it few times and rember that )

EXAMPLE KEY GENERATED :
keyword - bitcoinfuck
478e551c9eacedbe5d7ad198df623321bb7b7592db5a094319cb9aed18580b78

this is only a method i suggest you all, i recommend you to distribute your coins between 2-3 keys for additional safety.
just a method, don't hate on this, i been keeping my coin like this for over 3 years now, without a single issue, my coins were safe even when most of online wallets went down.
keeping the private key makes you immune to various future updates and changes, a private key will always be base of bitcoins.

any suggestions on improving this are welcomed
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to claim bitcoin gold from a private key on: November 15, 2017, 10:58:40 AM
title says it all

Its pretty much easy with Coinomi android wallet where all you need is just to add BTG to the wallet then go to the sweep option where you can then either type in your private key or scan it with the enabling CR Scan option available there. However, you should take a precautionary measure by transferring your BTC out of the address you want to claim the BTG if its still there but don't worry your BTG is still there.

thanks i never knew that was this easy, i guess i wasted my time and there is not good price for this

446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold electrum wallet. on: November 15, 2017, 08:06:36 AM
Electrum doesn't support BTG. But! Here is what you have to do to get your BTG. Export your private keys from electrum, download official BTG wallet and import keys into it.
WARNING! If you import your keys into phishing wallet you will lose all your BTC!!!

give me link for BTG wallet, cause i tired importing it didn't worked

448  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: connecting 5 antminers to wifi on: November 14, 2017, 11:55:45 AM
Hello, how would i approach this?

I have 100+mb/s wifi connection and i would like to connect 5 antminers to wifi (there is no other option)

What hardware i should look for? Do ethernet switches with wifi exist? Or do i need to do something like wifi to ethernet to switch?

451  Economy / Services / Re: Earn a good % of your bitcoins on: November 13, 2017, 02:53:02 PM

Does it matter which wallet we send the money to? e.g. Electrum, Blockchain.info, Mycelium etc.

blockchain will not link the private key to their owners so i wont be able to sign messages with the address even if i have the account
electrum can do it, i dont know for the rest

i have 400 btc right now, i can do that

how much can you pay for it, i have them stored in private key, so no big deal for create a broadcast message

i can even generate a vanity bitcoin address and then send to it, this will even make your service look legit

I hate all of the betrayers and you deserve all the loss that's coming to you.

yes i am so happy with this, a lesson for future
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are my sending fees so high? on: November 12, 2017, 11:13:22 AM
Number of unconfirmed transactions are too high. So if you need your transaction to go through the next block then you have to pay high transaction fee for that. Maybe soon transactions will be normal in next two three weeks.

yes lets see how well the bitcoin cash holds for a while
