444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating A Currency? on: May 13, 2013, 05:59:10 PM
I am seriously looking into what it would take to create a crypto currency that had real potential from the start. But I don't technically know where to start.

thanks for the great feedback Wink

I realise this must have been discussed many times before but with my background and previous experience of online business I am seriously looking into what it would take to create a crypto currency that had real potential from the start. But I don't technically know where to start. So how difficult is it? Does anyone have suggestions as to who could help this become a reality.

I'm a veteran of online business and marketing (made and lost millions in the adult industry) and I am serious in everything I do , I think if bitcoin is going to be around for many years to come, and develop into something we probably won't recognise in 10 years time and other currencies will be part of the game.

As an entrepreneur I see many opportunities in the Cyrpto Currency industry , specifically in taking it mainstream and I intend to jump in with both feet Smiley

I would appreciate all feedback on here or via DM Smiley I'm looking for someone serious to talk to about what it takes to make your own currency a reality.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or assistance

Mark

PS. I'm interested to hear from any one who has information about new legitimate currencies just launching or in the works too Smiley

maybe you should post this at other sections of forum

what other section would you suggest ?

447  Bitcoin / Mining support / Looking to setup a Big mining rig farm here in the UK on: May 13, 2013, 05:43:59 PM
I am looking to setup a large mining operation here in the UK. i have a pretty interesting situation which means I will have little or no power costs after September (Location has a £600k wind turbine going up that can power up to 120 houses and I have direct access to the power overage). Initially looking to setup GPU miners, internally and offer mining contracts. Then once / if viable get ASIC miners up and running too. I'm looking to speak to people who would be interested in talking to me more about this. I have a vision of getting a 150 Mhash mining farm up and running by year end . (GPU mining)

If your interested in investing, helping out technically or just want to chat to me more about my mining farm plans I would love to talk to you ( I'm new here , but been online for 15 years and want to get to know as many people as I can on here as quickly as I can)

Cheers

450  Other / Beginners & Help / The Wild West - Part 1 on: May 13, 2013, 05:28:43 PM
As some one relativley new to this whole game it strikes me that the big thing missing with the whole business side of Crypto Curreny is legitimacy of companies / services involved. It's like the wild west here (reminds me of the old days of the porn biz in 1997) no one know who to trust and know one know who is real. If as an industry this can start happening as soon as possible it will be in the best interests of everyone involved.

A thing as embryonic as this is bound to attract the scammers and the anonymous side of things doesn't help , but as things continue to develop and grow the scammers will find it harder to operate as word of mouth is the biggest detector of BS and scam.

Just my two thoughts here on the newbie section Smiley

454  Other / Beginners & Help / New LTC Mining rig setup in UK? (If you have £10k) on: April 30, 2013, 08:00:04 PM
Hi Guys

I'm wanting to setup my first LTC mining rig here in the UK. If you had £10,000 to invest in it what setup would you get? I have a power supply that is going to cost me less than 5 pence per unit.

Any thoughts and input would be gratefully appreciated

Hi Guys

I'm new here, learning fast re BTC and excited at the opportunities I see here. I'm based in the UK. looking to hook up with people based in Europe / UK.

I have a decent situation re power supply, I have a wind turbine available to me that is big enough to power up to 120 houses from July.

Currently looking into all potential avenues with BTC / LTC

Looking to meet as many people as possible and hopefully use my knowledge gained in Internet Marketing and the adult space over the last 15 years. Always looking to help people out if I can and create win/wins

Cheers
