441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin: is it the coin of the future ? on: May 20, 2018, 09:20:26 AM
Some people are already in the future, imagine those early investors, those who even bought bitcoin below $100. What can we say about them?I don’t think they expected bitcoin to get this far. Bitcoin is the future coin and it has no contender. It still has a lot to offer and we need to be very positive about its future. I want to be like those early investors in 3 to 5 years time.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon? on: May 20, 2018, 09:07:35 AM
Hello everybody. I think that Bitco's place will not be occupied. There are very few chances here. Look - in recent years, a lot of coins have been created and faster and more technologically and in general, in all respects better. But Bitcoin remains king - amazing, but true. Money likes silence, - hardly anyone will let Bitcoin fall below the 1 st place. This will be a certain damage to the crypto-currency community. It's my opinion. You can disagree, but I do not at all see any prospect that Bitcoin's place will be occupied by someone else. Bitcoin, is, first and foremost, a name. Make an experiment, go out, right now on the street and ask the first people who came to see what a crypto currency is, the majority will answer - Bitcoin.
Yes you are on point, bitcoin is what pops out of everyone’s mouth. Some of the people I tried to have a Cryptocurrency conversation with mostly confuse the term Cryptocurrency for bitcoin. Bitcoin has got its name on everyone’ s mind. As it stands now, bitcoin has no match and I am very positive that it will be so for the next few years.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: May 19, 2018, 10:18:33 AM
A lot of posts are about bitcoin (eg bitcoin for illegal transactions ... bitcoins change lives ... bitcoin destroys the world ... bitcoin poison and so on) but basically it's all humans that move .. bitcoin is the tool. Good bad how the tool is how the man who runs. is it worth blaming bitcoin. What is your opinion?
This is a very powerful thought. It directs back to the fact that we are the cause of our own problems. Bitcoin presents an opportunity for better lives but a few people have changed the main aim of bitcoin to suit their own mischievous deeds. It’s high time we spoke about perpetrators of crime rather than blaming bitcoin.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 17, 2018, 03:40:22 PM
You can invest 50% in bitcoin and 50% in ethereum. It may take long for you realize profits but you will never regret such decisions.Afterall bitcoin and ethereum are the top two Cryptocurrencies.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: May 17, 2018, 12:49:21 PM
Bitcoin differs from other currencies especially the fiat currencies due to the fact that it has a unique price and it is on the verge of being recognized by the whole world. It might equally be the most widely distributed currency in the world. Again one can not boldly associate a particular price range to bitcoin over a period of time as can be done with other currencies.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2018, 11:53:59 AM
Governments have the perception and fear that Bitcoin could be used for bad deeds. With the emergence of bitcoin and other altcoins, the banks fear that they may loose customers. If this happens then they are doomed because there will be no or less transactions through the banks and they are going to loose. I think these are contributing factors why bitcoin scares the governments and banks.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 17, 2018, 11:41:16 AM
Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

It’s not all governments which do not trust bitcoin some governments actually support it while others haven’t taken any measures towards it.. Maybe those who do not trust bitcoin see it as a potential threat to their economy.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: May 17, 2018, 11:34:30 AM
Countries keep banning bitcoin but what I want to know is what measures are kept in place to ensure that one uses or owns bitcoin. Do the these bans actually work or there are just used to declare a countries displeasure towards bitcoin. I ask because if my country for instance bans bitcoin, I can still keep and use my bitcoin without anyone knowing. How do they enforce these bans?
449  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why does it call "market will never sleeps"? on: May 17, 2018, 10:49:56 AM
I have seen that certain people said that market will never sleep. As I know, like usual market at NASDAQ or NYE Stock Market they usually open their market at 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. So why does it call market never sleep? I am curious. I am new to this kind of thing
Every Stock Market have their fixed operating hours.  But there are many stock markets around the world, not only in USA, but also in Europe or Asia - they are working in different time zones. For example, if stock market in USA are closed at the moment, stock markets in Europe or Asia are working.
And when we are talking about crypto markets that term represent it best, because as we know - crypto markets never sleeps and it's alive 24/7.
Exactly, while one stock market is being closed, another is being opened and mostly there is an overlap thus there’s always some exchanging/trading one currency or the other. Crypto exchanges on the other hand never close unless maintenance is ongoing and even with that another exchange will be active wiles another is not thus there’s no time for market to sleep
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: May 17, 2018, 03:25:21 AM
Banks will continue to be operational irrespective of the rate of adoption of cryptocurrencies. There are so many people who can never use cryptocurrencies for various reasons ranging from illiteracy to resistance to social change. The banks need to be operational to provide services to these people.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: May 16, 2018, 07:50:29 PM
I can not imagine what he's going through at the moment not to even think of when bitcoin reached it's ever highest peak.It is unfortunate that there is no way to retrieve these coins. I think Satoshi Nakamoto and his team should have taught about this but then again. this character makes bitcoin unique.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OPL][2018] OnPlace Inc. - Become an investor of private companies on: May 16, 2018, 07:28:43 PM
This project looks very promising. I am interested to participate in this project. does this project have a bounty campaign? I hope this project has a twitter campaign and a facebook campaign.
Its very late to join bounty campaign, bounty rewards are actually being distributed. Just wait and grab yourself some OPL when it hits an exchange.
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: May 15, 2018, 08:03:20 PM
Half a million dollars in 10 years to come? I am a big fun of bitcoin I support all its moves but this your prediction is not something feasible. Currently bitcoin is facing so many challenges with more than half of those challenges being Perpetuated by various governments. Again there are other altcoins which are competing with bitcoin for attention and usage. Had it been just a few coins in existence, bitcoin could have gone as far as your prediction but in the current situation, I do not think half a million in 10 years is feasible.
454  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ? on: May 15, 2018, 01:06:25 PM
Blogging will be very helpful but then you must be ready to do a lot of research about whatever project you want to write about. You must be very resourceful in your writings to earn rewards as most articles do not usually qualify.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: May 15, 2018, 08:54:30 AM
The quest for survival has been ongoing since introduction, bitcoin has survived so many criticisms and manipulations in the past and as it stands now, I see it almost on the track of independence. Even though governments which happen to be the worse enemy of bitcoin are trying to put up structures in the form of regulations to impede bitcoin’s progress, I see that citizens are in love with bitcoin and thus will continue to fight for the use and acceptance of bitcoin.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin govern the whole world? on: May 14, 2018, 12:02:12 AM
Bitcoin will eventually be accepted worldwide but some countries will still give priority their local currencies than they will give to bitcoin. Most people wil only see bitcoin as an asset of easy transferability.
457  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: May 13, 2018, 09:50:35 PM
Everyone is very quite when it comes to issues in relation to Cryptocurrencies. From the look of things I do not think our leaders have any plans for creating business platforms for Cryptocurrency.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: May 13, 2018, 01:33:08 PM
Exchange rates are very high over here in my country, you can’t always rely on the local exchanges available as they mostly run out of cash to pay or buy bitcoin from owners. Some other times the exchangers accumulate more bitcoin to an extent that they need to Cato buying and rather sell off before they buy again. These time last usually get irritating. I wished things were as smooth as they are at your end. Congrats on your practical use of bitcoin.
