441  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 14, 2017, 09:12:26 PM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
they are just dreaming but I don't think it will happen.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: November 14, 2017, 09:07:19 PM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?
if fiat will be worthless, so how are we going to base the value of bitcoin then. without fiat we wouldn't be able to determine the value of bitcoin or else the basis will just be crypto to crypto or bitcoin to altcoins. I cannot think of possible way people will exchange bitcoin into since bitcoin is accepted though not everywhere.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly a third of people think bitcoin will collapse in the next six months on: November 14, 2017, 08:49:08 PM
I think those who are against and pessimistic are those who has not yet tried and has not yet known bitcoin maybe or those who've read and heard news about well known people talking negatively or I say destroying the image of bitcoin and for whatever reason they do, it brings fear and causes panic to those who believe. But nevertheless, the percentage of those who are still into it is bigger than those whoa are not.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 08:41:27 PM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
same here. Really regret comes late. Nobody could tell by that time then what would be the fate of bitcoin since it was not yet so popular during that time and every one was afraid to let go of their money. nobody wants to lose I understand but I really do regret for not believing earlier.
445  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: November 08, 2017, 08:18:12 PM
Maybe, half your brain and mine will be robot, cars will have wings, and maybe a time machine will be inventented  Grin. Or maybe a pill a day for food, o maybe a devastated world we will have. Only assumptions.
446  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Atm sa Pilipinas meron na daw isa? :) on: November 08, 2017, 08:03:09 PM
Cheesy
447  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 08, 2017, 07:29:22 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I dont have bitcoin yet but i have altcoins. Altcoins are also money just depends on its fate in the market. But soon i will be a holder of bitcoin too.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: November 08, 2017, 07:27:31 PM
I think you wouldnt really know when will be the right time to buy bitcoin. Everyone is afraid it would suddenly lose its value, if not thise who bought it in a cheaper price years ago are nit regretting for selling the to soon. When you would ask them why did they sell it, they would tell you they were afraid they would lose the capital. Even now, there are still bitcoin holders who panic to sell when they see bitcoin price is going down. So i think there is really no exact time when to buy and when not to buy, if your instinct is telling you to buy and you have money, buy. Better regret in trying than regret all your life for not trying.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 05, 2017, 09:27:19 AM
Yes. Freedom indeed. If we want to earn more we can make our best and give our best to earn more. Unlike being employed in a regular job with an employer, no matter how much you have given yourself to the company your salary will still remain the same. If you invest your money on something, risks and fear are slowly eating you up for fear of losing your capital. Though your money could earn and could not too. If you put your money in the bank, the future of your money will not make much difference. But in bitcoin, free, not controlled by any institution, not by any  government, no tax and not bound by any law. Indeed freedom.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: November 05, 2017, 09:20:03 AM
i just check old posts in Currency exchange and Found how bitcoin was so cheap at 2011

Example

this User ask for 32$ only to sell 2BTC

2.00 BTC for sale - $32 USD (MTGOX PRICE is 16.68)

Only trusted members with reputation!

So are you think time now is too late  or some one in future will say how price was cheap in 2017 like my post

Shear what you think Huh
During that time bitcoin was not yet so popular, if they sold it in that price that was because they bought it in a cheaper price too. We would really never know the future of something unless it is proven by time. Bitcoin was new then and holders are still very skeptic on it’s success and downfall. But anyway, it is still not too late, though we may regret for not believing earlier, we still have the opportunity to get over it. Who knows maybe in a year or two it will double in price so there is still nothing to lose for us.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: November 05, 2017, 09:13:30 AM
Hi guys, I just want to know your views and opinion about the difference in Electronic Money (Bitcoin and others) and the Physical Money. Many people now a days are still confuse about the existence of the Bitcoin and how it differ from our Physical Money that we are using to buy necessity. I hope we could share and learn from each other.  Wink Smiley
I never knew too. Not until my eyes were opened to the world of digital currencies. In terms if daily expenses, we all know that nkt everywhere bitcoin and other crypto are accepted specially in retail stores though there countries that really but 8 hope in the near future this idea of accepting bitcoin and altcoins as payment will be considered in those countries that are not yet accepting it.
452  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 05, 2017, 09:08:54 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Maybe. Somehow a kind of gambling but not as risky as real gambling is. They say it is maybe because they are taking risk. You dont know how much would it be tomorrow or the other day. Winning is also unpredictable but people are taking this risk because so far they know that Bitcoin had never turn them down yet. It is still unstoppably growing in value.

454  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is humanity gone? on: November 01, 2017, 05:06:33 PM
It may seem like there's no hope for humanity but aside from all of what we see in today's generation there are still those that stand out from the rest of the world's inhumane acts. Its just that the majority of the population consists of people that are cruel and merciless, beings that feed on others weaknesses but dont lose hope.. i know that good will prevail in the end.

Exactly. Human instinct, selfishness. Everyone has thinks of himself first before thinking about others and worser than that is because of selfishness they could not even do a single act of kindness without being paid in cash or in kind. Every actions they make to help you, they are always expecting something in return. But i dont generalize, i know there are still pure hearted people who believe in love or charity.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 01, 2017, 05:00:30 PM
I dont think so. The prices of bitcoin does not vary in the type of holders it has. One maybe new to the business but if they do it seriously they will surely benefit the same as others do. Though i think u mean those who are giving services for pay in bitcoins. Yes in the forum those who are older or higher in rank are being paid higher than the beginners.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: November 01, 2017, 04:54:30 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Yes. Very bad. A lot of jobless graduates are everywhere and their number is increasing every year. Natural disasters are destroying plantations every year leaving farmers with nothing to live with which cause also the rice hike in basic commodities. War here and there. Rob outs here and there, murder here and there, over population, early marriages and a lot more to mention which the present governement cannot handle. And last but nor the least but the biggest is corruption in the government.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 31, 2017, 09:04:51 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
One good investment also is real estate. If you invest your money in the bank, it depends on what is the economy status of your country. If the inflation rate is serious then you your money's value will go down. In cryptocurrency, also fearful. You dont know what would it be tomorrow since prices are very unpredictable.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Yes / No on: October 31, 2017, 08:53:12 PM
I think all currencies are bubbles. It depends on how you defined bubbles. Everything in this life is bubble. Physical money is also bubble. You have it today in big amount and because of carelessness you can lost it tomorrow. Everything puffed off. Nothing is permanent but bitcoin though they call it bubble, it still continue to grow a big bubble and still not puffing off. Thanks to this bubble.
