Tokens are locked until just before going on Exchange. It is a good move to prevent decentralized Exchange establishing low value. It is not about how fast we get the bounty as much as the value of our bounty

I just realized i would probably have actualy paid for a copper membership if that gave me the merit to rank up.
That was a suprise, i really do not like that people are buying selling merit. Double standards from me then.. Or just a weak moment

Merit is supposed to be given for quality posts, and now i think most of it goes where it should.
But to say no one is trading it is naive They have to do it in a complicated way to avoid red trust though, so even against thoose the merit system makes it harder.

That last sentence is currently one of the biggest problems! Crypto needs adoption, but alot of the "sheep" went in at prices much higher than they are now, and are currently looking at crypto as a joke / money grab. All the scam / crap ico doesn't help either..

I would actualy prefer some regulation, but with rules as similar as possible in different parts of the world.

If ico is regulated by some countries i only see a positive aspect. For investors it will have a reduced risk. And there is nothing stopping new icos to be like they are today, only there will be less capital for them.

Why do you claim the vericoin is dead? Just that statement alone does not really help :p verium is only a small part of my portfolio at the moment but still try to see what is up from time to time.

It is very easy to complain on a forum. Especially about free items it seems, or "free" if he did use a couple hours for it. But communication and giving the teams some time generally helps alot more

Merit have dried up in some parts of the forum, altcoins especially. But that is just how it is now. Merit does have some flaws, but the biggest is that it should have been there day 1. Rank gives better signature reward, but ranks should tell us something about the members and their knowledge. I got a long way for Sr member because of merit, but i would say that is correct. Sr member should have more knowledge than i do.

To rank up you have to be good at writing and have an interest in the "correct" parts of the forum. But i could not have made a better system and a system above just activity was needed so in no position to complain

I could try to post on other parts than alt coins for merit, but without the interest it will be just a hunt for merit and posts not worthy of it so il just use the forum as before. In time il get there.

Please do not read this as a complaint to the merit system, my signature gives half the profit but i did not join bitcointalk for the signature campaigns. Actualy did not know how good they were before i had been here 3 months haha
