442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 10:31:04 AM
There is already a big storm on Reddit and some official discord of those big streamers. They said clearly that they don't want to promote this stuff but they are being paid to well to not accept the deal. Per example , TrainwrecksTV is making a ton of money everyday he streams slots on Twitch and the sames goes for XQC when he streams but they became addicts without even notice this and they lost a lot of money from their own pocket as well. At this point I suppose none of them really wants to stop streaming or playing slots and also Twich policy cannot do anything against this. I mean ...they have hot tubs and all that but Twitch was designed by gamers for gamers.

I remember here in the gambling section there was a topic about whether casino advertising should be considered fraudulent, since streamers often play not for real money, but for advertising/fake ones. That is, if we see how a streamer plays with a $5,000 deposit and loses it (or wins something), it doesn’t really mean anything, since the casino just gives them this money for advertising streams. Therefore, it is naive to claim that some streamer became addicted or lost money from his own pocket - we have no evidence to be sure that this actually happened.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 28, 2022, 03:43:47 PM
In the match against France in the semifinals, Germany failed to keep a clean sheet, what might hurt him is that the goal was created by an own goal. But even so, at least Germany still showed its dominance by winning the match, although in the second half France looked more aggressive but it was still not enough to make it win. With this result, I personally believe that Germany will win in the final match, especially against England. I think that even though England reached the final, Germany still has a better chance of winning the title at Euro Women.

If you look at the opinion of the bookmakers, they believe that England has a slightly better chance of becoming a champion:

England 1.74

Germany 1.98

These are the probabilities of the final result, taking into account possible extra time and penalty shootouts. I think that England are the favorites here more as the host of the championship than in terms of strength of the game. Therefore, it is worth assuming that the German team is at least not weaker.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 28, 2022, 03:00:41 PM
I guess these schemes can be done by real professional gamblers... Sometimes even during the game there are doubts about the desired result, and here you also need to think about the tactics of the two teams... And it also happens very often that the bookmaker closes the possibility of selling the bet, most often when it becomes unprofitable for you... So it seems to me that such a hedge is an additional risk...

But people bet on almost all possible outcomes (this is the work of bookmakers to make them do this), so if selling a bet is unprofitable for you, then it is beneficial for another player. The bookmaker cannot play against anyone in particular, as many people are playing at the same time. And in any case, I didn't notice it - these opportunities (as well as the opportunity to bet live) are closed for a very short time, mainly when there is a dispute and it is checked using VAR. After the uncertainty is removed, the opportunity to bet/sell bet returns.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: July 28, 2022, 02:52:41 PM
Will it really be so exciting without Magnus? I doubt it and I also think that the public will see the person who becomes the new world champion as "weak" as Carlsen didn't play in it. I followed the last couple of championships mainly because of Carlsen, to see if he could retain his title, but will probably only follow from a far distance next year when the world championship will start.

If an old champion has no motivation to defend his title, then he is weak. Like it or not, but the motivation and will to be the best for many years is one of the parameters that determine the strongest players. Carlsen gave up the title and the fight for the vacant seat is interesting by definition.
In addition, we can assume that the level of contenders for the title is approximately the same, so we will see a sharp fight and not the dominance of one side, as in previous matches.

As you notice in the chart, Slots Channel got more viewers than other famous games such as Fortnite and CS:GO. This starts during pandemic which many streamers shift from online gaming to the onlime gambling category.

Many famous Casino is now doing partnership on different streamers. So in conclusion, Streamers contributes a lot on the increase of popularity of online gambling.

Chart Source: Twitchtracker.com

I don't really trust these stats, especially since I've been browsing the various channels on Twitch lately and noticed that slots are one of the favorite categories of streamers from the "just chatting" section. Basically, these are beautiful girls who lead their streams with clear goals (to increase their audience for other social networks, including paid ones, if you know what I mean). One of the easiest ways to create content for them is to play slots, which they do from time to time. I think most of the audience in this case looks not at the slots but at the girl.
447  Other / Off-topic / Re: VAR: Has it improved football or has made it worse ?* on: July 27, 2022, 07:53:08 AM

VAR. Like it or loathe it, it appears to be here to stay. But has it actually made football better or has it added another unnecessary layer of complication to the beautiful game?

COMPLETE Source HERE

Firstly, I think that VAR made the game better because football is a game of skill and not luck, and such a factor as "the referee made a mistake" which can be considered random here is superfluous. In addition, the fewer mistakes the referee makes, the less talk about the unfairness of the result and the fact that the game is “bought”.
Secondly, I will say that VAR is now absolutely inevitable even if it were harmful or useless. It’s just that due to progress now, viewers of broadcasts using replays understand the situation in 5 seconds, and if the obvious facts (what they see) constantly diverge from what decisions the referee makes (referee cannot physically see everything - there have been studies on this topic) then they simply will not watch this nonsense.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 27, 2022, 07:43:00 AM
Hesitancy means you are not sure if you have a chance to beat the house edge but you can proceed and check if martingale can help you win, even if its proven thousands of times that doubling your bet or martingale is still a 50/50 chance to win or get busted, people are very persistent in using a martingale, all I know is martingale can excite you but do not use it to challenge the house edge my own experienced in martingale is very worse 15 straight losses wiping all my tokens I've earned from bounty campaign for 4 months in just 5 minutes using this strategy.
At which game did you encounter 15 straight losses precisely? It would be surprising you got that at BJ especially if you are not a bad player. I think the martingale strategy could be applied to a hot shoe if you have counting enough cards before, but it's certainly better to just raise your stake in this case. Using it at freebet blackjack could also gives better results since you get free splits and then more chances to break losing streak.

This result is easy to achieve in any game if you have chosen the appropriate odds (if you bet not on x2 but on x1.1, then of course a series of 15 defeats in a row will wait a very long time). For example, when playing dice choosing <49.5% you will get similar results. In Black Jack, the house edge varies depending on the variations of the rules and is close to 0.5% at best. Whether you are a good player or a bad one, if you play long enough, you will easily see a series of 15 defeats in a row, and if you used Martingale, it will bankrupt your deposit.

Seems that Football is coming home, so far we haven't saw any force which can stop England. Disappointed about Sweden performance, it was just too easy for England.
Other semifinal between France and Germany, it looks like 50/50 game, impossible to predict. Personally, I would like to see Germany winning this game.

An unexpectedly easy win considering that the bookies were estimating the odds of England winning in regular time at around 50%. And it's hard to blame the psychology, since there was no early goal and in general they scored evenly over time, that is, there was no temporary dip in the concentration of the Swedish players. Today's game should be much more competitive and I hope there will be at least as many goals scored as yesterday.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: July 27, 2022, 06:55:11 AM
The story with farmers is 100% the same as the story with nuclear power plants in Germany - they closed them and now in Germany the price of electricity has risen to record levels (it seems ten times in a year). If farmers fail to defend their rights, then after the destruction of the "extra" cows, we will face a similar increase in prices for milk and meat. This is very similar to the plan that the WEF has been trying to implement for a long time - for people to eat artificial meat and bugs.
The government's curiosity to find out how much wealth its citizens have is getting higher and as technology is developed, they can easily investigate someone's account.
Only by using SIM data, passports, or other identities, they can connect to all the resources they have so they can get complete data about a person.
This is why in many countries, citizens are required to pay taxes based on the source of their income and the results of their wealth.
And maybe this is why the cryptocurrency is the choice for people who have a lot of money so that the government can't track how much their real wealth is if they have cryptocurrency in their separate wallets.

The problem is not at all in taxes (which are actually necessary and useful if they are of an adequate size) but in total control. If earlier you had some kind of right by default, now you have to prove everywhere that you have it. For example, in Russia, a FanID system was introduced for football fans. It is obvious that there is no connection with taxes, but only with total control. Gambling ID has the same meaning even if it is introduced under the pretext of restricting gambling for children or under the pretext of combating money laundering.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: July 26, 2022, 09:44:39 AM
If a big casino is ever going to scam a player, the amount of coins, that are stolen would probably be big.
I don't think that the big casinos would destroy their reputation by scamming multiple players with small or medium amounts of coins/money.
So to answer your question. No, I don't think that a big and valid scam accusation could completely ruin the reputation of a casino, which has thousands of positive reviews. The reasons are two:
1.Many people won't be aware of this particular scam accusation.
2.Many gamblers are betting small amounts and they know that the casino won't scam them for peanuts.

These points seem logical, but in practice they often do not work or work completely the other way around. For example, you can argue like this: if a casino deceives someone for a large amount of money, then the probability of getting a lawsuit and wide publicity is very high, so it is unprofitable to do so. If a small player is cheated out of a small amount of money, it probably won't be worth making a big fuss about, so small players are at risk. And for example, in my country it works like this - I know that local bookmakers constantly deceive small players.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: July 26, 2022, 09:09:12 AM
Good tips and they will be useful to a beginner in their own right, but I think an important part is missing. You make a prediction for a sporting event, but the bookmaker also makes a prediction (professionals who work for him), in order to be in the black, you must be stronger than the bookmaker in prediction (or in betting or something else). It seems to me that before you start placing bets (if you want to do them not for fun, but for the sake of making money), you first need to understand what you are stronger than a bookmaker and how you are going to earn money. Otherwise, even following the advice from the first post, you will still be in the red.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russian Premier League 2022/23 Season on: July 26, 2022, 08:58:14 AM
Referee disaster occurred in Krasnodar-Spartak match. It must be admitted that Krasnodar did not play a good football, but the referee kicked the Krasnodar player from the game instead of kicking the Spartak player from the game. The referee cut the match. Although Spartak was the dominant side throughout the match, i think they cannot be champions with this squad. Krasnodar continued its bad football.

Hahaha, that's not surprising. The whole country, including football, returned in its development decades ago when there were many fixed games and scandals arose after each round due to biased referees. Taking into account the fact that the Russian championship is excluded from the area of interest of UEFA and FIFA, and what happens inside is controlled only by local corrupt functionaries, there will be many more similar games ahead. I'm surprised that anyone else is watching these games, I know that the fans of many clubs have declared a boycott because of the FanID scandal.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 26, 2022, 08:41:54 AM
The Italy thing gives me incredible pain, for me the Italians have a great style of play, also their history defines them a lot, there are already two World Cups in a row that we don't see them, I think that Italian Soccer needs to have more discipline, and that is It starts with the leagues, series A a few years ago had great fame, I know that the pandemic affected clubs around the world a lot, but I think it is time for not only the Bundesliga, the Spanish league, to shine, but also the Italian must be the protagonist, the French league is currently quite famous, in this if the money should move to promote the sport.

It is difficult to call the French league famous, given that everyone is talking about only one club (and a few years ago it was two clubs).
The absence of Italy from the World Cup is of course a big blow both for the fans and for the championship itself, but I would not say that things are bad in the Italian championship - the last season was one of the most interesting compared to other top leagues. If we talk about the economic background, then Italy is no worse than other competitors (Germany, Spain, France), but like them, it lags far behind England. From what I've heard, England is the undisputed leader in club earnings from both ticket sales and broadcasting.
With FIFA increasing the number of participants in the next World Cup, Italy should definitely be there.

459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 24, 2022, 07:01:15 PM
I think it is tremendously convenient. I consider it a kind of "insurance".

because:
-it allows you to ALWAYS get a win regardless of the final result.
-it allows you to immediately invest in another bet that could guarantee a greater profit.
-it allows you to get protected from "black swans" and unpredictable results.

I personally always accept a cash out in most cases and I always try to bet on bookmakers that offer this gambling option.

- but after all, events do not always develop in your favor, so you can’t talk about “always” winning
- is it reasonable to do this as you have already invested in the event and it is going according to your plan (since you can cash out)?
- but this comes at the cost of diminishing the payoff if you were to risk continuing, +- no difference.

What you are describing is called “sure betting”.

It is an offense on almost every casino. If you are not making any money by doing this, then it don’t make any sense because not playing would give you the same results.

Sure betting, arbitrage betting, chasing +ev games are usually not liked by the casinos and if they find out that you are making only these kind of bets, then they will probably ban your account

But why do casinos introduce such an option if they are struggling with it? In my opinion, this option works for the benefit of the casino, which is why the casino actively offers it to players.

Well, if the team you bet on.... is starting to lose.. then it is profitable if you "cashout" before the game ends, because you would have lost everything if they have lost. It is very difficult to "switch" bets in Live games, because the odds change so quickly... and if you have a slow internet.. and the site lag, then it is almost impossible.  Roll Eyes

I like to cashout early on "Multi bets".... when I won a few of the first matches and I receive more than I bet, but you have to sit there and time it 100%...  Tongue

But what's the point in initially making long multibets if you are satisfied with a shorter multibet? Maybe you should initially make them in the size that suits you completely? After all, cash out eats up a significant percentage of the profit, that is, for example, you had a bet 10 events long. You won 6 and decided to cash out - you will receive a win worth about 5 events (one event will be eaten by the cash out).
