what happened to our blockchain?

the C2 Market has been FROZEN due to potential abnormal behavior on the C2 blockchain
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coin2 [C2] - The forward thinking altcoin with a plan. on: April 07, 2014, 10:56:53 AM
Bter keep telling me they are in discussion with coin2 dev about fixing the issues. Is this correct? Are you in discussion with them? They claim everything is up to date on their end.

wtf wrong with bter.   coin2 is nothing wrong now. maybe bter can not hold their balance.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coin2 [C2] - The forward thinking altcoin with a plan. on: April 07, 2014, 02:26:16 AM
it is also timid to anticipate this coin at 700 satoshi!

look at ZET, we can do more than that. 10000 satoshi is our target!
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coin2 [C2] - The forward thinking altcoin with a plan. on: April 07, 2014, 02:24:41 AM
Edit: LOL was doing that when you posted that Nelson. =P

Ok, I decided to speak up like usual, lol..

I know you guys are pushing for us to launch the game already, but
I have some things I need to point out. The game has alot of bugs
we have noticed from the minimal amount of beta testing, this is just
on the FPS part of it with no C2 being played for, guys sliding, guys
sliding with their arms stretched out, parts of the map where you fall
off the screen, all kinds of random shit. You wouldn't want it to be a
server like some call of duty bullshit full of hackers now would you guys??

In order for a perfect launch and no cheating what so ever we need to
perfect this as much as possible before the official launch. That in mind,
since this is our(mine and kalisto's) first game to involve a coin, there
could be all kinds of bugs on that system alone. That could be a very bad
thing if the wrong people discover them due to a hurried launch. We want
to beta test the shit out of each and every system before the initial launch.
Further more, I think it would be best to agree on a main beta test time by
everyone, to find every damn part of the game that is fucked up just based
on the fps part of it. This would also help test the load the server can handle.

I've currently started another map for me to piddle with as I finish the other
one up. Don't expect this boat to be the same when the map is finally released
but here is another screenshot. I don't care for that model of boat, it has some
issues that I am trying to fix, but what can you do when its free.

Would love to be able to buy some real models but sadly I can't afford them.

Great!

Have you ever consider add multipools to this great coin?

also i think it is time for fundraising!
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin-Adaptive N-factor Scrypt-No more ASICs-[EXCHANGES/AMAZON/ATM/MERCHANTS] on: April 06, 2014, 04:37:28 PM
A: Did i imply knc was for scrypt-n? That was not what i meant.

I interpreted this way as well. It's good you did not mean that. However, why, then, should this be a deadline to look forward to? It is very arbitrary in the grand scheme of things. There are other ASIC manufacturers, for example, why not pick their release date? Why not Halloween? Why not the next coming of Christ?

Roughly 2/3 of the litecoin community is not happy with the comming asics (and rightly so). These ppl are looking for an alternative and vertcoin could very well be that alternative. Get them while they are pissed off at litecoin.

Just because it may appear that 2/3 of people in the FORUM are not happy with coming ASICs does not mean 2/3 of all Litecoin users feel this way. You can not extrapolate to the entire population with such a small sample size. I think it would be foolish to place strain on our own community (hard fork) based on the assumption that these users will switch over. Our coin speaks for itself - people will come over or they won't.

You will have to get used to more frequent forks, if not or if the devs do not choose to do so then the asic resistant claims are as toothless as all other asic resistant coins have been and will be as any 'big' coin will get attacked by asics.

As i said before: this is a unique chance to be different from the other (failed, at least on asic resistance) coins. Vertcoin will have to do things different, and let people know they do things different.

More frequent forks, maybe. But not unnecessary ones. What's the point? You are wanting to inconvenience thousands of people for no reason. Being different to improve the coin is good; being different just to do random shit is stupid.

Release date: knc is most popular in chatboxes(release in roughly 6 month)+ 'announcement' of scrypt-n asic (they will do a tapeout in roughly 6 month if they are not lying).
LTC'ers against asics:
Ok, then you do a poll and ask ALL litecoin users.
Forks:
Any random shit is stupid. But being ahead of things is hardly stupid? Showing you mean business when threatened isn't stupid? Being THE asic resistant coin isn't stupid?

I said over and out before. I mean it this time, no more replies from me on this subject. I think i've said it all multiple times (to the point where readers think they are invading my thread Wink ).
Vertcoin needs to do things different. Get a system in place for easier updates/forks, advertise your plans for the futere (still not happening), get prepared, be pro-active!
Failing any point above-> bye bye asic resistance, or at least fail to get the userbase/growth perspective to be the #1(/#2) coin.

I don't understand why you keep mentioning KnC when it can't even mine this coin  Huh. VTC is already ahead of the curve, that's why an n-scrypt specific ASIC needs to be created in order to be able to mine it. The Bliss announcement is a joke (double the hash rate, keep the price the same, mine n scrypt ==  Roll Eyes)

On another note, developers are posting updates on the developer blog when they have time to since they are pretty busy. Boris has been posted multiple threats that if a real threat appears they will fork the coin as needed.

don't you understand why we call some one paranoid

Everyone with a withdrawal problem email the life out of bter.com.  This is ridiculous.  We need them to fix this.  Translate your message to Chinese as well and send it.

I tried withdrawing 10000 c2 to my wallet yesterday. The first 10k made it to my wallet no problem. The second 10k is still pending today.

I got an email back this morning from them saying they are in contact with the coin2 dev team and all will be fixed and not to worry.

That was after informing them legal action will be taken if not promptly fixed.

their limit of 100000 coin2 per day is ridiculous.

Everyone said it would be nice if Coin2 entry mintpal.
My question, what good mintpal? Are mintpal will ensure Coin2 price will be better than the other exchangers which we use today when Coin2 in there?
Please give me enlightened friends.

simple!  volume will go up.

i learned a long time ago to stay away from bter.com. they have always had issues. their support sucks because if you are lucky enough to receive an email from the support team it asks you to contact them on skype. there is no skype. you have to get QQ. there is also rumors about whether you should send your emails in english or convert them. it doesn't matter. bter.com sucks. almost every different coin i have sent or tried to withdraw has had issues and i have average, frustrating wait times of 2 weeks to 3 months to get my coins back. a lot of repeated emails with screen shots were sent. after about the 3rd time and a 3 month wait to get my datacoin back i gave up on bter.com.

i seems our next step is trading on mintpal.

of course our priorities are community and game develpment.

fly the coin2

so the coin wont ever hit 2 satoshi ?

Not as is ... but with a takeover who knows, 20+ should be achievable.

take over now.

we will donate to the new team.

FLAPPY COIN HOSTILE TAKEOVER

Well maybe not so hostile given the current Devs are currently AWOL and the coin has hit rock bottom... also it would not technically be a takeover but a hard fork (There is currently a team looking to do just this with Litecoin). This has been proposed a few times in this thread, but I think it might be worth doing. Details below:

How would it work?

Technically it is not that difficult, the real hurdle is in the implementation and adoption. As the scrypt is all open source a new wallet can be created and a block number set to hard fork the coin. As of that block all users would be required to update their wallet and mine on the new fork.

New Dev/Team

These members would have to be agreed, and not just to cover technical side but anyone with enthusiasm and time to spare. It would also present an opportunity to change any details of the coin we wanted, block reward, difficulty retarget (adopt digishield?), scrpt algorithm (X11?), total number of coins etc. etc. Any ideas/innovations could also be built into the wallet or planned for a later update.

It may also be worth contacting the other set of Devs who were going to release a Flappy Coin until this one jumped the gun, they still hold a lot of the flappy website addresses and given the circumstances would probably be happy to help.

In order to avoid confusion it might also be worth changing the name slightly so people can be sure which fork they are on, (FLAPZ?)

Pool Operators and Exchanges

We would need the cooperation of pool operators to either agree to replace their flappy wallet with the our new version and advertise the mandatory update, or alternatively they could run both a FLAPZ and FLAP pool in unison. I don't see it being a problem getting at least a few pools running in time for the fork. As for exchanges, again probably not an issue getting listed on the B-list ones early on, but like any other coin it needs community support, liquidity and value to get listed on the larger exchanges ... which can come with time.

Personal Wallets

After updating your wallet you will inherit all your existing FLAPs you mined/purchased prior to the fork, which would now be FLAPZ. After this point only mining/transfers between the new wallets would be recognised by the new fork and it would not be possible to transfer coins between FLAP and FLAPZ chains.

It is also possible to keep both wallets in the short term, so if you had 1 Million FLAPs before the fork, you would still have 1 million FLAPs after the fork + 1 Million FLAPZ in the new wallet on the new fork.

Adding value and direction

This is not worth doing if the end result is just a clone of flappy coin. The coin needs ideas and innovations, many which have been suggested in this thread, agreeing these and a direction is a must.

Currently FLAPs price is about as low as it could be and the mining difficulty is really low. So everyone would have the chance to mine and buy coins before the fork, which should help with an even distribution. After the fork there will also be over 50% of coins left to be mined so scope there to.

Way forward ...

STEP 1: This idea needs support so copy this and add your comments in this thread
STEP 2: Agree on the Devs and Team leaders
STEP 3: Modify the code, create the wallet and set a block number for the fork
STEP 4: Ensure pools are available and new website etc.
STEP 5: Count down the blocks and see what happens ...

So will you make a fortune off this, maybe not, but as a Flappy holder you have nothing to lose and if nothing else it would prove an interesting experiment in this ever evolving cryptocurrency landscape.

can't agree with you more.

1. cap it
2. havle it
3. digishield
4. change algorithm to something new

keep waiting and holding

Flap was my biggest loss in crypto history.  Undecided

Until now  Wink More will follow soon, trust me

more dump???

okay I believe the problem is with bter.  I advise everyone to withdrawal and use only Bittrex.com

Hi Dev,

how about we build a multipool just as bc did, that will make some breakthrough.

hope to hear from you

This is a great idea. I've already been mining other coins and converting them to C2. A multipool would make it so much easier

combine game with multipools, coin2 will be a great innovation!
