With this historic win now India is surely going to Lords and Australia lost their chances now I am feeling as opponent we have good from England or New Zealand both are good enough for first World Test Championship award without Kohli they are much better so now time for another change and hand over test captaincy to Rahane and ODI, Twenty/20 to Kohli what your view about this ?

Previously even I said about having a dedicated captain for the test which will also help Kohli to perform better as a batsman than a captain. I really like aggressive captaincy from Kohli but it won't work most of the time when it comes to the longer format of the cricket.

Anyway, the chances of moving the test captaincy are really low but if it happens then it's better for team India.
442  Other / Meta / Re: My friend want to use this forum for crypto trades but problem on: January 19, 2021, 11:15:14 AM
This forum is not actually created for crypto marketplace but still it allows people to do whatever things they want until it doesn't involve scammy/shady activities. INternet is full of scammers so bitcointalk is not an exception to it but you still can choose your trading partner wisely and make trades in smooth manner and you know bitcointalk's trust system made things easier for the people to find who is trusted and who shouldn't be.

Pant, Gill, Takur, Saini, Siraj is everywhere but people forget to appreciate the effort from Pujara, he also one of the reason for Indian batsmen to keep their batting style up the mark since he was holding the one end like a wall for nearly 40+ overs. Actually, I missed the live game just waiting for the highlights to see how the game went on the day 5.

It is not a simple win for sure because 6 main players got injured but still the new bowling team managed to destroy the fortress of Aussies.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange to use a US Citizen Abroad? on: January 17, 2021, 12:58:59 PM
Choices for US citizen to trade on a decentralized exchange is very limited like they have to choose coinbase or Kraken and Gemini. They can use the exchange without KYC verified but it is not safe for your funds, they can freeze your account at any time and will ask for the verification.

Have you considered using any DEX? yes, I know the liquidity is less but if everyone from that country starts using it will give enough liquidity for sure in a very short time.

snip~
Once again, I want to repeat that I do not deny the presence of changes in the future about a larger share of online work, but I urge you not to make mega-conclusions from this Wink Changes in this area have been, are and will be, but why are these forced changes associated with the pandemic suddenly necessarily remain after the end of the pandemic? Also, I would not strongly hope for a multiple increase in wages due to the absence of the need to rent premises and other items of expenditure, because the released funds will go into the pocket of business owners and they themselves know perfectly well that which items of expenditure can be squeezed, and which costs can be eliminated at all. Common office equipment and property for employees, on the contrary, allows you to make good savings in costs.
We are still in the middle of this pandemic, even though the vaccines are found we are yet to find its effectiveness because the virus itself mutates to new strain and overcome the medicine if possible. Many developed countries are struggling now so they are not forcing its just supposed to roll out or else unemployment will increase a lot on certain countries.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 17, 2021, 07:39:49 AM
I expected Australia to wrap up the tail fast but now it looks like they will bat the entire day.

It was an amazing fight back by the Indian tail batsmen. At one point, there were six down for 186 runs but the last four wickets gave a good resistance to the Australians bowlers and now the deficient is only of 33 runs. We still have two days left in the match but it look like that most likely this match is headed towards a draw.
Anyone looking to bet on a draw now can be in a good profit.

After that excellent 7th wicket partnership the tail end up too quickly so now India is back into their bowling and most likely the match is heading towards the draw because we are not having promising weather as well for the remaining days.

Warner was in a hurry and made into 20's, can he get going?
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 17, 2021, 06:10:26 AM
Finally, the great partnership between Sundar and Takur came to an end with the special delivery from Cummins, Takur wants to seal a place in the international career and the intentions are up to the mark now. India still trails by 60 runs and 3 wickets in hand, can Sundar be able to hold one end and play throughout the day? Atleast go for the zero trails will be his approach from now on. The game is on for sure!

449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market Condition on: January 16, 2021, 03:12:35 PM
All markets are down now a days, Not only crypto but all other markets are also falling. I know fluctuations are part of the market. But when a market goes down badly, there is a reason. But I don't understand at all what is going on in the market right now, Because I didn't find any news about it. There is no news that makes me think that this could be the reason for downfall. If any of you know about it, please comment

What? Markets are down? Did you find any reason when the price climber 500% for most of the coins in less than a month!

But now you worry about the 3 to 4% fall from its all time high. Just consider it as a correction before the next rally.

If you don't want to lose many profits then set the stop loss to prevent your portfolio fall from a huge loss.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: January 16, 2021, 12:27:14 PM

Another question is that these measures are forced and caused only by the pandemic and with the normalization of the situation, many online employees of many companies will return back to the offices, because it is easier to organize control and efficiency of work there, gathering employees in one place where they are not interrupted from their professional duties by household chores.

The only thing I have heard is constant or permanent is change. Change makes you see things in different way. And they you forced to adapt into it.

I have not seen when a thing happens and after a while going back to normal in the exact way it was before, because people change their ways in the old normal to new way. In other saying nothing remains the same. So we can't expect the office way and pattern to now go back to normal or remain the same. Both in closing hours, resumption and work load will change because some work can be done online now.

Working culture will change for sure just because a lot of companies are spending huge amount of money to accommodate their employees So like electric bills, infrastructure or rent and maintenance so if most of them start to work from home all the profits will go into the hand of the company. And all this work from home can give more opportunities for people or a better salary for existing people.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 16, 2021, 10:27:10 AM
With the initiative of COVID-19 vaccination which started today (16th Jan 2021) we have entered whole new era of pandemic. Indians have finally made it through successful vaccination campaign and 0.12 million dosage are already dispatched throughout local region.

This will help break the chain of COVID-19 in India and people here can initiate the routine life.  It’s wonderful to see that they have already began their normal life before vaccination. However with the vaccine out schools, colleges and other populated institutes will be powered up with enormous speed.

The most basic thing is now operational at fullest.

What do you guys think about India and it’s economy ? Whether they will have advantage over other nations in grabbing more economic throughput due to vaccination??
India already made a deal for the production of vaccination for most of their population but still its yet to be produced.0.12 million dosages, not enough amount when the country got 1.4 billion but I look at it as a trial run on the public and it is not going to bring any changes into Indian economy since there was very less amount of active cases which is almost negligible compared to the number of the total population.

Jobs will resume for many employees and IT will reset its wfh portfolio for better efficiency of work.
Most of the IT-related jobs are going to be from the work from concept even after post covid condition because IT companies consider it as cost-effective and more convenient for the employees.

These are some good points for everyone to read but the list can become a never-ending one since scammers find new ways and tricks to scam people so we should keep ourselves updated with crypto market events.

Commonly newbies get trapped into centralized exchanges where the fee structure is extremely high so when you are going to pick a new exchange for conversion then never forget to read their terms and the fee structure so that you won't get worried later.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 16, 2021, 06:20:08 AM
It's raining on Brisbane's inner Northside at the moment (quite heavily in fact) ... Well... It *was* raining quite heavily, now it's stopped again...

I wouldn't be surprised if play is halted very soon. (If it doesn't rain on Brisbane's inner South East, then it's going to become even more hot and steamy than it already is)
It seems the match maybe resume after the inspection from the umpires and if there is no further rain we could have the complete quota of overs for today with that 30 minute extra time. But the weather forecast for the day 4 and 5 is not that good.
454  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Funds in my coinbase vault stuck for very long time on: January 15, 2021, 06:18:49 PM
Did they get it figured out? I'm in the same boat as you with my vault and its been since early Dec just wondering if you ever got help?
Nope, there is no response from them other than the automated one which asks me ti verify the account and then reply on the same email to get support from the coinbase but nothing happened.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin over 30k on: January 15, 2021, 05:40:59 PM
I was a pessimist that bitcoin will go over 20k ,now it's over 30k

From my perspective btc is worthless same as cash ...it has no value for me

I get it ,it's volatile a speculator and market manipulator dream come true ...for them it has value

Question is how will be responsible for the suicides & murders...when they start happening ?

Poor people gamble their savings now thinking they will get rich quick ...

If your not rich be careful and read a lot about crypto ,see the good side and bad side of it before you invest in it .

How is going to pay when pension funds will start investing and they will lose people's money ? As some fund managers are already playing Russian roulette...

Stupid and corrupt govs  ...that's how i blame.

Bitcoin has got its intrinsic value which comes from the miners and the expenses, but if you believe that it is just worthless as cash then no one is going to convince you about bitcoin's technology and potential in the future.

Bitcoin was not made for poor or rich, its just for everyone so one who got skills can make money with its volatility nature or simply wait until a time comes when you have to convert your fiat to bitcoin to make any payments in the future.
456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do i give a merit point to someone ? on: January 15, 2021, 02:52:51 PM
Pay attention to the OP's post history. I think that this is not the person who is interested in merit. Perhaps he once rated star posts, and just wanted to thank upgrade00 for the post that came in handy.
Actually, I am not responded to OP's question. Just for the one who I quoted above where he says he should concentrate on how to make merits or else, he will stay at the newbie for too long. No hard feelings just my 2 cents. Smiley
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 12:02:47 PM
98 runs on 163 balls, this partnership between Marnus- Wade is hurting now. Shardul thakur leaking runs and going 4.50 per over, Rahane need to be careful with the run rate Aussie scoring right now, almost 5 runs per over in last 10 overs. Its seems Marnus is set for big 100 this time.

Wade is gone, with Natarajan getting his first wicket. But Labuschagne got his century before that. He got out for 91 in Sydney, but managed to get in to three digits this time. Now it is up to Cameron Green, to provide support for Labuschagne. After Green the tail will start, with Paine in such pathetic form. Australians must thank the quota policy of South Africa. Without the South African import, India could have whitewashed Australia in this series.
Labuschagne  got out but damn this guy is really talented and really loves to make runs against every freaking team.

Natarajan baba got the both wicket (Labuschagne and Wade) Nice debut for Nattu.

India is back in the game again.

Aus : 213/5
At this point, India looks like they back into the game but again another big partnership hurting the inexperienced bowling lineup of India for sure. In my opinion, OZ will be happy with their 274 for the loss of only five wickets even when they lost both the openers very early in this match.Indian Fielding again showing pathetic performances which is one of the reasons for leaking too many runs and let them build a partnership.
458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do i give a merit point to someone ? on: January 15, 2021, 07:01:18 AM
So first, you need Merits if you want to give Merits to someone deserving in this forum. You are still holding a rank of a Newbie after being in this forum for more than 2 years.

Your topic heading does not match the content that you have written, if you carry on like this you will remain a Newbie for the next two years too. In my opinion, you should work on creating good content first and then think about Merits.
The calculation is very simple sMerit = Number of Merits earned/2 + airdropped merit (if there is any)

Well, ranking up should not be the ultimate goal for anyone who is posting in this forum or else it leads to constructive on-topic spam. It's okay that OP stays in the newbie status as long as he is not posting craps all around the forum.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 04:11:38 AM
Breaking the partnership between Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith was the big task for the Indian bowlers, and they managed to do that. Now the Aussies are in backfoot. Labuschagne is still there, but there is a chance that he will soon run out of support. Middle order batsmen like Matthew Wade and Tim Paine are in very poor form right now. I would have rather asked Cameron Green to bat ahead of Wade.
Even though they are in bad form they can able to manage to build a partnership there.OZ trying to face more balls as much as possible so the bowlers can get exhausted then it is possible for them to go for runs at the later of this session.

Good effort from Indian bowlers though even when everyone is inexperienced and almost everyone debuted on this series. Cool
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 02:47:01 AM
Excited to see Thangarasu Natarajan making his test debut. Always thought that he has the potential to become a permanent member of the national squad. And the openers failed once again for Australia. Both David Warner and Marcus Harris failed to get to double digits. And as usual, it is left to the pair of Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith to rescue the team. The 3rd wicket partnership has made 48 runs till now.
Once again this pair is saving team AUS from the fall and successfully doing it now, each bowler is new face but still performed well until now.I think India would be happy about their first innings bowling performance but their real task is to break the partnership between Labuschagne and Smith to get them into low total as possible. The match is about to resume in the next few minutes so let's see how the pacers are going to make a strategy.
