Choosing a good project for investing in long-term is quite difficult. But you can look a list of top 100 coins from coinmarketcap.com. Then carefully look at projects whichever you liked most. I suggest you to look at Waves, Tron, and NEO, also Etherem still remain in the hjot favorite list.

I don't think Monero is worth enough to reach $18K ever, but yes, the project is good and it could reach $1K easily. I'm holding a small amount of Monero but will sell once it reaches $500 That's all I'm hoping from the monero market.

Currently, the cryptocurrency market is so bad, continuously going down but it will turn around soon. Possibly within a few weeks. Yes its a great idea for marketing new projects before and during ICO. Remember none of the airdrops are free, it is actually paid to microtask like following on social channel, posting on social media etc. So it increases the awareness of the project, spread the word to attract new investors etc. Also, it doesn't impact the price cause the amount is too small like 1 to 5 US dollar per individuals.

I feel for you. Like you, most of us invested in ETH at above $500 price, so it sad to see when the price continuously declining below that. However, it looks like ETH has survived at its bottom price around $188, so I think the danger is gone and it will go up soon. If it stays in the same position in the next 24 hours, it will go back

ETH heading towards $100 and it's really sad to see such condition for a strong community, but again it has proved to them who was spreading words that ETH will overtake BTC, see what's happening. It looks like within next 48 hours it can go down to below $100.

If you zoom out the price chart of Bitcoin, you'll see Bitcoin price is not going down, but it is going upward. You can not stop scam attempts, you can stop them from being successful.
