It looks like you misread, those are v3900s, a much slower card.

The first two items in that list seem to refer to radeon 7990.
But yes, it's probably a wrong/misleading title for the objects they are selling...

The thread you linked starts with a bunch of words we all love:

This is the news spreading twitter, I'm not sure if it is fud but apparently BTC-e is under investigation... looks serious enough:

I would say... absolutely confirmed!

It's not what he's smoking. It's the medication he's not taking.

I think it's them both.

This is just too hilarious.  Also, I loved the way so many bitcoin n00bs who either unknowingly took Bitcoinlitecoinbtcltc and Proudhon seriously (and thus added to the FUD spreading), or were in on the joke and also added to the FUD spreading.  Classic.

To be honest, I think that bitcoinlitecoinbtcltc is serious.

Do you guys think he isn't? Take a look at his posts out of here...

Hey. I'm also a long time cryptocurrency investor (since 2010) and I really want to be allowed to post outside the newb garden!

Get out of here! NOW!

I almost feel we should close this thread now, for what a fine way to end!

You start a parody thread to make fun of how the media/forum-trolls spreads FUD without doing due diligence, you post links to articles in Russian and Chinese that have nothing to do with bitcoin, blow everything completely out of proportion, inspire forum members to generate fake documents and conspiracy theories, and in general just act so stupid that your mind blown that anyone could take this thread seriously....

...and then still--despite all of that--have the MSM report Proudhon's sources as "confirmed."

This really made my day guys.  Cheers to everyone who's contributed to the many good sources of bad news!

+1000.

It's simply incredible. It's a short-circuit of sources.
We can call it a Self-fulfilling confirmation.

Please someone call Proudhon!

Both Proudhon and Bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc have been recognised by international media as confirmed spokespeople for Bitcoin community:

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/chinese-new-year-bitcoin-ban-end-days-or-empty-threat-1434495

This is a confirmed fact.

I can't believe what I'm reading:

Quote
Meanwhile, members of the BitcoinTalk forum have expressed fear over the potential closure of Chinese exchanges, with hundreds of posts gaining tens of thousands of views from the crypto-currency community.

One forum member, using the name 'Bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc' said that after 31 January, "Chinese can no longer do anything related to bitcoins. They can not withdraw money from Chinese exchanges. So the bitcoins they have on Chinese exchanges are 'dead'. They can not trade those bitcoins in for real money, or withdraw that money. It's like that money doesn't exist anymore."

This doomsday scenario was echoed by another used called 'Proudhon', who has contributed to the forum for three years. The user said bitcoin's fall from $1,200 to its current level of around $900 will "continue until bitcoins are worth $0."

Much of Proudhon's comments from "confirmed sources" have been dismissed by other forum users, but the sense of unknowing shared across the community is hard to ignore.

 Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Edit:
Thanks MatTheCat for the awesome link.
Best example of Self-fulfilling confirmation.

Furthermore they have established the legitimacy of user bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc as a primary source, I can confirm.

Yes, what all the bulls need is to read some bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc's posts to understand that there's no tomorrow.

457  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: January 30, 2014, 11:27:41 PM
I am struggling as to whether buying is part of the hodling lifestyle.

May I suggest the following whitepaper I developed over the course of last year.
It describes 4 levels of HODL and determines, what you are required/allowed to do on each level, concerning teh art of HODL.

1. Level0: REQUIRED: Nothing
ALLOWED:  You may download the blockchain and study the official client´s source code.

2. Level1: REQUIRED: Byeing and/or mining BTC
ALLOWED: Byeing and/or mining BTC, Dotaning: 70% of HODL

3. Level2: REQUIRED: Drop mining, stop byeing, Destroy 30% of privatekeys
                ALLOWED:  Dotaining: 20% of HODL

5. Level4: REQUIRED: Destroy 100% of privatekeys
                ALLOWED:  Everything

6. GOTO1

Note: *Trading not allowed on all levels
**Byeing only, but preferably high can be refered to stakcing
***Breaking the rules requires you to sign your posts with the special note "lesbo-persian-bombshell-here"

Nice read, but could you please enlighten me about the meaning of "Byeing"?

OK, it's the inverse of SODLING. (or is it seldling? Cheesy)

as long as you make sure to destroy your private key you are good

Excellent, that is really what HODLING means.

In anticipation of what? I'm assuming you meant HOLD.
