441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you play in demo mode just to get rid of the urge to play? on: December 27, 2015, 07:58:00 PM
Sometimes I just really want to gamble because I miss the excitement, but I know should not do it, so I just play some games in demo mode with fake credits. After im done, I don't feel like risking real money anymore. This is a good technique to stop gambling in a stupid compulsory way.

That crossed my mind a long time ago but that is not the best thing to do for me. If you want to gamble and you don't have funds then don't gamble and either go for a walk/run or something fun with friends.
Don't waste your time on demo games as most of the time they will let you win and get you excited until you borrow money and go play for real and lose.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 22, 2015, 06:46:52 PM
#1, At the time I thought it was a big loss but as time has gone on I realize it was small really, my total losses are just a few btc.
#2, I do still play now and again but not much and it doesn't really bother me when I lose a little amount.
#3, Nope not addicted to gambling and what a horrible life if I was Sad
#4, Gambling is not a good way for earning.

It is good to hear it, gambling supposed to be fun and entertaining

but if you found gambling can make you stress and frustrated, then stop gambling is good for yourself
When I gamble, it is absoluely no fun for me, I am stressing and then at the last moment I loose the bet because the other team makes a goal in extra time Sad

And in casino's it is even worse then with sportsbooks. There is something more behind thise casino's, I am very sure.

If it is no fun and you continue to gamble that maybe your cue to look for help for addiction. What is the point is stressing over a few dollars? It makes no sense at all.

There is something more behind thise casino's, I am very sure.

What do you mean by this? I was going to be sarcastic but I'll leave that. Please explain what you're sure is behind provably fair casinos I'm intrigued.
It is every day a few dollars and that will add up to prety much. Like 200$ a monh, also I don't have that good earnings, so it is prety much for me.

I think there is more, because when I play with fake mone, so that it doesnt count, i always win. When I play with real money, same strategy, then I always lose.

It being everyday is not good mate. You should take a couple of weeks of from depositing and playing. $200 is not a small amount by most people standards that would pay a weeks rent where I live. So that explains why it stresses you out because you are playing with what you can't afford to lose. Take a break is my advice.
You are right about winning on play money as far as I know that is all casinos both fiat and btc provably fair and not. It is there to get you suckered in by winning more than normal so you make cash deposits. That is shady but not cheating . Check google as to why you win on play money more than real. As long as you check your bets on a provably fair reputable site you should be good and have nothing to worry about.

445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You have so much bitcoins collected. what did you bought?..or wanna buy?... on: December 22, 2015, 11:11:55 AM
Personally, I want to buy a good electronic cigarette for Bitcoins. (I'm already tired of regular cigarettes). I just do not want to spend the cash. And let the rest of the coins lie to better times.

For what they cost and how many places sell them face to face you're best of just buying with cash. Have you found a place to buy with bitcoin because I've not seen any? Original question, I have brought a few guides on here which have made there money back. I will hold until it gets accepted in many more places and the value is more in line with what I value it at.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 22, 2015, 10:52:16 AM
Think back.. to what was the cheapest price you've bought your BTCitcoin(s) for compared to USD.

The cheapest I paid for bitcoin was a couple of year ago at $72. On average my bitcoins have cost me around $140 I brought some when we was at low 200's the last year. I do think if I would have just been a year earlier I could be a bitcoin whale but guess that is the way the cookie crumbles.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: December 20, 2015, 08:00:34 PM
I play in a monthly lottery (offline), I did win a substantial amount one time, which after calculation gave me 5 years of free playing.

Which is the reason I am playing and will keep playing for a few more years... free of charge ;0

That is brilliant that you had a nice win that allowed you to play for the next five years! I have a family member that got 5 numbers twice within two years, they can also probably play for 5-10 years for free.
That is when I stopped playing after never winning anything myself. After thinking about this while writing I will probably start playing the euros every week again and find a half decent btc provably fair lottery. You never know.
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Public bet between Me and Bitspender. 10 btc each. Floz Price Prediction on: December 20, 2015, 07:39:26 PM
I don't see anything beside sending money to escrow is needed for this bet. Find escrow, send money, verify bet and the winner takes it all. What is the problem here?

And I think it is not too late to back out of this bet if you both have second thoughts.

Dude.. Im 100% commited. I just see no reason to play into his hand.
He opened his mouth.
I offered to bet.
He said ok "I'll bet you 10-20 btc"
I agreed to 10 btc
and here we are now.
He is a lying loser.

Bitspender doesn't like spending his bits it seems. You could both send 10btc to each of your chosen escrows. Sebastian and Blazed would be my first choices.
No signed message needs to be given when you're willing to send first to escrow. He just doesn't want to bet with you and it was a spare of the moment thinking you would not call him up on it lol
449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell some and hold rest on: December 20, 2015, 07:25:52 PM
Christmas is coming so take some rest, enjoy with your family and don't panic, It will go up again eventually.

You know this is exactly what I just done selling 1/4 of my bitcoin. I already have Christmas sorted but what is the point in just leaving idol coins in your wallet getting worried that they are losing value. I am happy with what I have exchanged and so will some family members thus not as much worry about price Smiley

452  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 19, 2015, 10:33:06 PM
But your signature just draws my in like a slice of pumpkin pie!! Anywho ive actually have made $40-$50 in profit for the like 4 days off of a site. But sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

Beat me to it. I wonder if he is done with advertising casino's also as he is asking others to stop because it is bad.
I getcha pain though fruit it is horrible when you lose and if it makes you feel like this when you lose you're probably playing with more than you can afford. I used to and it sucks.
You just need to take a look at Vegas to know how well the house does because that is what it was built from, if the house never had the edge it would not be open for business.
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500$ as a X-mas present on: December 18, 2015, 12:20:12 PM
That would be a better Christmas than what we got last year from bitcoin. To be honest I am happy and would remain so just sticking where we are taking into account just a few months ago we could not break $250's.

It would be one of the best presents that i could get for this christmas in my opinion it would meab that the price would get a lot of potential for growing next year and it would make me a lot of money of this happened thos year

I think you will find the potential is already there. There would also be much better Christmases you could think of that and extra $40. Saying that is will be nice yes, but be happy with what you have $40 is nothing Wink
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: December 18, 2015, 12:05:10 PM
I used to play poker online until I found out that most of the rooms (even on established and regulated gambling sites) were full of bots. No matter how good I could be I started losing on regular basis. Then I realized that in a room with 10 players there were always three bots.
Very sneaky

Playing poker online is not the best thing to do. Those cards is just so false for me. I would just prefer to play in real tournament or just real casino where people play poker. There you can see there face sweating and all those things.
When you play poker online you can't see if they are just bluffing or they are telling the the truth.

That is just wild accusations as you have zero proof they are bots. Also you have even less proof that they are controlled by the house. Just because you have a hard time playing poker and have gone on a bad run it doesn't automatically mean they are cheats lol I have played over ten years and a lot of time what I think are bots I welcome because most are not that great to be fair and I remain in profit.

In Gambling any one got cheated by gambling house?

Just share your bad experiences with any gambling houses so other people will be aware of it.

I find it hard to see how we would know this? I only play provably fair sites which have been around for quite some time and never cheated anyone. So to answer your question I have had no bad experience with being cheated by a casino. I have however lost at some casinos and had thoughts it was rigged so checked and all was good just bad luck and they was only thoughts.
455  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Casino | News | Special Offers for bitcointalk.org Users on: December 18, 2015, 10:20:11 AM

We'll check this and process asap.

Thank you

BTC-Casino

I would hope so he wrote on this thread over 1 week ago! I dropped by to take a look at the "special offer for bitcointalk members" but if this is what you can offer I will look no further . As said above you really need to sort them long delay withdrawals out to maybe once or twice a day. I'l keep and eye out and if you do come take a look.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: December 18, 2015, 10:12:23 AM
Bitcoin will play a big roll in the future of man I am sure but we have a very long way to go and maybe only just get to see it within the next ten to 20 years. You say it is a "Super currency and  the best store of wealth due to its cryptographic  network strength" I agree but we need others to see that as well before it is widely accepted. Time will tell,, if nothing else we know how to store our money in a much safe way than 99% of the planet.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 16, 2015, 08:39:50 AM
I never gambled much before bitcoin but when I found a few of the dice sites I had a little game which turned into a small addiction within in no time.
I put it down to having what I would class as a big win of 23btc from 0.8btc and then I thought it would happen all the time and that I was going to be a pro gambler lol
I used to wait for my service to pay me and the go back again trying to recoup my losses.
Now when I'm out I leave it for a week or two until I feel like playing again.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: December 15, 2015, 09:31:38 PM
It is sort of like gambling as you can win or lose. Other than that, it is just betting.

There is no sort of about it. It is gambling 100% and you can lose just as much getting carried away 'betting' as you can gambling in a casino. All in all it is the lesser of two evils should you know a thing or two about the sports your betting on. Oh yeh btw betting is gambling. Professional gambling is not a myth I know a few winners its just I know a lot more losers.

460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: December 12, 2015, 05:56:26 PM
Is like asking why play sport or video game many people have many reason.  Diversity.

That is true but the overwhelming amount of people I have met play for money. The couple that don't have to much money and see it as entertainment but to be honest I did see it entertaining spending all day at a machine losing but each to their own lol

To me money is what makes gambling addictive its what makes it gambling hehe, once you win the big one you tend to the always remember that when you continue to chase kind of like a drug. Gambling without money is boring and with it dangerous.
